Bob is a great mechanic! He definitely knows FORD vehicles. I have an older Taurus that needed some work done, he fixed my car in a timely manner. Glad my sister recommended Powells to me. I will have work done here again.

Avoid. Its a one man operation with full mechanic shop pricing. Been a customer for two years and the same problems exist. Leaking antifreeze despite several inspections, which I was charged for. Mostly had oil change work were the fluids were not topped off or checked. Shortly after such one visit, my jeep made a loud fire engine noise, to which we discovered there was barely any steering fluid left, Bob quickly addressed the issue he overlooked like nothing happened and.....charged me around $20 for his mistake. Today, I go to do my own oil, to discover the plug bolt is completely rounded and impossible to take off. I call Bob and respectfully ask why this is and why nothing was said to me about it when it happened and he begins to blame me, questioning my actions and what tools I used. At that point I had only raised my truck to access the pan. This is the first time since going to Bobs that Ive tried to do anything myself. I asked him to make it right and he said to take my business elsewhere. In my opinion, hes got to much on his plate to care about newer customers or the problems that result from his mistakes. Avoid
