Auto Dynamics provides the absolute best service in the industry of auto repair!!! Two times this past year they have squeezed me in unexpectedly for repairs and have provided quality service every time. If you need auto repair in Dubuque I would highly recommend them.

I have never been to a mechanic who has worked so tirelessly around the clock for their clientele while maintaining a generosity unparalleled. I came in with a very unusual problem (my cat was stuck inside my car—long story) and this extremely busy man took the time to help me get her out, and it most definitely was not an easy task. I can’t say thank you enough and I cannot recommend enough that you use Auto Dynamics as your local mechanic.

I am new to town and was hearing my brakes getting crunchy. I called to see if someone could take a look and was able to get in the next day. I was a little early and they got my car in immediately. I was told what the issue was and quoted a price estimate. There was no charge for the check up and I had a great experience with the staff. Angie (I’m bad at names so sorry if this is wrong) was super helpful at the front desk and I would absolutely recommend this shop to everyone. Such a great experience!

I just called about the fact that my brake fluid is empty right after my oil change asking if they could of perhaps missed checking it and the receptionist made me feel like it was completely my fault-that there was an obvious leak and did not make it seem like I was going to be able to have it looked at any time soon, she didn’t give me an option to set up an appointment.. she just asked me to drop it off even though I don’t have a ride back from there and she just said “let me know” after I told her that. I figured adding brake fluid would only take a minute and since they didn’t check it it seems they would handle it but instead I got defensiveness and no understanding. I definitely don’t feel comfortable going back there.

Ive brought most of my other cars over to Auto Dynamics to Gary and he done a great job. Im very pleased with the work hes done on the other cars and the one I have now. Ive been taking my car to Auto Dynamics since they opened. Gary is the most professional and honest ASE certified mechanic in the area. Very thorough and always takes the time to explain what the problem is. Angie is excellent when researching for parts is required. I was looking for a honest and reliable and affordable auto repair shop about 9 yrs ago when I found Auto Dynamics and I have been going there ever since. The shop and waiting area is very clean and Gary and Angie are very knowledgeable and honest and Gary is a excellent mechanic. They are a family owned business who care about their customers. They have gone above and beyond to take care of my auto repair needs.

The service at Auto Dynamics is above reproach! Gary, Angie and the guys go out of their way to get the job done right and dont take advantage of you. I know I can trust that what Gary says needs to be done will be necessary and done in a timely manner. I used to go to a local chain for the basic oil change/tire rotation and EVERY TIME I went in for this procedure, I needed something else for my car: tires, brakes, struts, you name it, I needed it. Auto Dynamics is great to work with and I trust them completely!

Really happy with the service at Auto Dynamics, very honest, reasonable pricing and stellar customer service. In fact, recently I was having an issue with a throttle/accelerating problem I was going to have them fix but when they starting looking in to the issue they found it was covered under recall. They pointed me to our local Ford dealership instead of just taking my money (I wouldnt have been the wiser). That right there will be the reason I take all my business to Auto Dynamics. Good mechanics are hard to find these days!

Gary and Angie are great to work with. They have been working on our cars for several years and are very upfront and honest. I like that they tell us what to look out for with regard to tire wear, shocks, struts, etc. There is no hidden costs for sure. Oh and we come to them from out of Dubuque - we go the extra mile(s) for the great service!We were referred to Auto Dynamics from a family member. Since we have gone to them, my parents and siblings have also taken their vehicles there. Went there this morning to have him look at my car. He spent 20 minutes of his time (no charge), but it turned out to be more of an auto body job than a mechanic job. He referred me to the best auto body guy in town, who quoted me $150 for everything. All the other places I checked out cost $630 to $2600. So Im happy. Good service and thank you for the referral.

My son is attending college in Dubuque IA we live in Indiana 6 hours away. I searched the web and read reviews to find a mechanic to fix an issue he was having with his car. They were amazing and got his car fixed and at a more than reasonable rate! They were so kind when I spoke to them. In our experience a lot of repair places rip you off. This place didnt at all! Best shop in Dubuque. Garry is as honest as they come and does great work. Had a Transmission replaced about a year ago and have had zero issues.

I cant believe how awesome the people are at Auto Dynamics! I am a college student, and was having problems trusting where to take my car. I went to Firestone and they told me I needed to put over $300 in my car to fix it. I then went to Auto Dynamics, they looked at it for me for free, and explained to me what was wrong, and how it was not even close to that much money! They are friendly and budget friendly, and care about the money in your pocket!!

I have had Gary & Angie work on my cars for several years now with several vehicles to repair. Both of them have gone to bat for me with the extended warranty companies! Gary knows what he is doing and wont tell you to fix anything that isnt the problem. He will do what he can to find the problem, Angie will get your parts & both of them will do everything they can to get you back on the road as soon as possible.

Weve taken all 3 of our vehicles, Volvo, VW and GMC HD pickup, to Gary and Angie at Auto Dynamics for 3 years and cannot say weve ever been anything less than 100% happy we did. They are straight up great at what they do. That said, the service is as quick and affordable as anybody could ask and the work is always done right. They are just the best.
