I could tell that I had a bad bearing on my alternator while towing a camper near Dickinson, Googled car repair and saw the high marks. It was after 2pm on a Friday. He diagnosed the issue and got the part ordered. They were done by 3:15 pm so we could continue our trip. Outstanding!

They were honest, quick, and the transmission tech took the time to explain what he saw and did on my car.

AMAZING FAMILY!!! We were stranded on a Sunday and Joe along with his wife and son helped get us back on the road. They were all so amazing and Joe answered all of my questions about the van. Ive never had such a good time at a mechanic!!

Omg best place on earth I came to get 1 of my headlights fixed and when I went out to show them what was going on neither of them came on. They were closing but wanted to help me otherwise I wouldnt be able to drive home. Joes the best. I recommend anyone that has a problem come down and let them take care of you. Have to change my review. Lousy service lousy prices. They cant even put brakes on properly. Yes Brakes. 2 vehicles now 2 times that last two times. You try and give a place the benefit of the doubt but nobody knows what the hell they are doing there. Yes BRAKES they cant do properly. Oddly when they change your brakes they dont even test your car to see if they work properly. See ya. A lack of any good mechanics in the area

Best garage experience I have had in a long time. Outstanding customer service, very fair pricing. Was really blown away by how quickly the work was done on my vehicle. I had planned on dropping off my vehicle and picking it up later or the next day. The garage was very busy. My ride home was running late by about 40 minutes By the time he got to the garage, I didnt need a ride. My vehicle had a new starter and was ready to roll. These guys are the best ! I was stranded on my way from Kentucky to Washington with a busted water pump. Broke down late Sunday night, called first thing Monday morning and they squeezed me in between other jobs for an emergency repair so I could get back on the road. Finished the whole job in less than two hours, I couldnt believe it!More than reasonable price. Definitely would recommend, you wont find a betteror more honest place than Joes.

I was on a cross country road trip when my car broke down in rural North Dakota. I limped the car 60 miles into Dickinson, ND where I was incredibly lucky to find Joe, who was nothing short of amazing. He expertly diagnosed the multiple failures and repaired them quickly to get me back on the road with only a 24 hour overall delay which is incredible given the failures. I can’t more strongly recommend Joe’s shop; he is highly skilled with a lifetime of experience and has great instincts. And he is patient and very kind to boot! I literally would still be in ND today waiting for parts and repair if I had not found him. I wish I lived in Dickinson to be one of Joe’s many regulars rather than just having to settle for having a new friend in ND. Thank you Joe—you rock!!

Outstanding Customer ServiceI called, spoke to the owner, Joe. We set a day to drop off my truck. He started on it that day, called me the next day with a prognosis, I needed unexpected parts, he had them ordered and they would arrive Saturday. This is outside of his normal business hours but he assured me he would work to have my truck ready. If you need auto maintenance do not hesitate to contact Joe. In this day of short cuts and broken promises it is refreshing to have someone who will do what he says he will do.

Were do I begin? I was EXTREMELY fortunate to find this gem of a place in Dickinson. I decided I wanted to save some money and decided to change my own spark plugs (not having a ton of mechanical experience) a piece of ceramic broke off and ended up falling down seating against the valve. When I started my truck it ended up sounded like a bunch of rocks rattling around (whoops). After a quick google search I ended up getting my truck towed to Joes auto service. After a quick diagnosis, the mechanic (cant remember his name) informed me they could tear down to the heads, but it would have to be machined and it wasnt guaranteed to be fixed, and would cost $2300 (yea ecoboosts!). After talking to my dad, we figured it would be better to just do an engine swap as the truck already had 160000kms (100,000miles) on it. I found an engine out of Canada (down here for work) and it only had 23000 miles on it and was $1500 + $600, for a total of $2100. Well low and behold when I went to use my debit card, Wells Fargo informed me that to make sure I wasnt a terrorist my daily limit was set too $2000 a day ( no more maple syrup for you!). Well I didnt know anyone that well down here that would let me use there card to hit it up for $2100, but after calling the shop, the owner himself said I could use his card (but said I had to pay him back what a jerk!). So they called back the used parts dealer, paid for it, engine arrived in a week, and the mechanic did a full swap in *cough* 2 days. bro. 2 dayyyyyssss. It takes me 2 days to get ahold of real person when I call my credit card company. So glad I found these guys, have waited to write a review as I wanted to see how the vehicle performed, just hit the first 10,000 mile mark no issues.
