There was a meeting scheduled for the same morning as my appointment, and I was able to come in earlier so that I could make my meeting. The repairs were completed in good time, which allowed me sufficient time to be back to work for the meeting.

Very knowledgeable service advisor (Roy) and technician. They were able to diagnose a creaking noise that came from the front passenger side during braking, which happened to be an easy fix. Also, they were able to recommend services that I needed to ensure that my car will continue to run smoothly. They are helpful, friendly and professional.

Generally, overall they do a good job. I have used them many times with no issues. I was a little disappointed that they would not install headlamp lights of my choosing (bought somewhere else & brought them with me). We wanted brighter beams for night driving and adverse weather conditions. Still they did a good job with installation of the lights they provided.

My horn had gone out on my 2014 Kia Forte the week before last. They were backlogged but were able to squeeze me in for diagnostics at the last minute. Had to wait a few days for the part I needed, but once it came in, they were able get it done in good time with no issue!

Kia’s are awesome cars and the service department outstanding! Been going there since 2017. They are great at communicating with you on every service, down to an oil change. While your car is being taken care of, so are you with amenities like plenty of comfortable seating, WiFi, TV, coffee, vending snacks and drinks offered. All is very CLEAN. The service attendants are very professional and respectful. They know the cars and won’t push unneeded services. They are honest and work to earn your trust and business. You always leave with a car wash or a rain check. Thank you Brad, Roy, Zachary and others I’m sure I’ve forgotten.

I brought my car in for an oil change & tire rotation. When they gave me my car back, I heard a loud rumbling noise. I went back and asked them about it and was told that after a rotation, rumbling noises like that are “normal” and that if the sound doesn’t go away in a week to go get the “alignment” looked at. I drove thirty minutes home and the noise did not improve. Took it in to a local repair shop for them to look at and they found that the front right tire was completely loose and missing two lug nuts. The repairmen said I was lucky that my tire didn’t fly off and that I didn’t crash. I then had to replace the whole wheel due to damage caused by driving on it loose.While I was frustrated with the situation, the dealership took care to address the issue and reimbursed me for the cost of the repairs, which I appreciated. They were very professional in acknowledging the mistake they made and working with me to ensure that I felt the issue was appropriately addressed.

I brought my Kia Sportage in for a/c repair. They couldnt find the problem because it didnt act up in their presence.I was told next time it acts up bring it in while its acting up and they will immediately look at it.There was no charge for their time and effort and they even washed the car for me. Great touch!

Took car in for warranty after they were over a month booked, but once it was in there (i already diagnosed the car myself as i am Master Tech myself) and sure enough they came up with the same diagnosis a few days later, then we had to wait for parts which they dont have any control over. Once it arrived it was patched up and ready to go. They also took me home from the dealer which helped immensly and reduced the stress of finding a ride. Very good people guarantee if you can be realistic theres no reason they could or would let you down. Talk with Roy

Gay Family Kia is all about service. They interact with everyone in the waiting area everyone in the waiting area and personalize your visit in noise your visit in a very pleasant way.. Zachary is Harry is outstanding at his job and I really appreciated it. I purchased my car at Fredy Kia; I quit going to their service dept because I couldnt make an appointment on their website. It was always booked out for 3 months. Whenever I would call to speak with someone, they put me on hold then I would get disconnected every time..So I drive 25 minutes from Hobby area to Dickinson because Gay Family Kia service department takes care of my vehicle and does a great job!

Due to a family emergency (funeral), I had to travel back to the Northeast and drive about 2800 miles round trip.When I arrived back in town I had about 6500 miles on the odometer, 500 miles over for the 1st reccomended oil change & tire rotation service.When I called Gay Family Kia for an appointment they informed me that the next available appointment would be a few weeks out but they accepted walk-ins between 10:AM & 4:PM for an oil change and tire rotation.I didnt get a chance to arrive at the KIA dealership service department until about 2:35PM. The service manager informed me that it could take about 2 hours since they were busy that late in the afternoon for walk-ins.I told him that was fine, I was just happy they could do the service that late in the afternoon since I had traveled about 50 miles from Northeast Houston.They were able to get me in & out of there in about an hour and twenty minutes and thats with also washing my vehicle.Im very pleased with the professional, courteous and fast service they provided for me.

The overall experience at this service center was a positive one. I am not happy that I had to pay so much out of pocket for repairs, but to be fair the price of the service was discussed very thoroughly before any repairs were done, and only when I agreed to the repairs. Everyone that I interacted with was very professional and nice. The car was repaired in a very timely manner and my vehicle has been running just fine since then. The car repair was not covered by the manufacturer warranty or the additional warranty that I purchased when I brought the vehicle. That was very unfortunate, but I am grateful that I had the money to cover it. I am appreciative of how respectful I was treated here and I would recommend this service center to my friends and family as well. Thank you Gay Family Kia.

I went to Gay Family Kia Service based on the great reviews. My first visit (about a year ago) was because my car was sputtering and the headlights were adjusted way too high. They were unable to find the issue with the sputter but charged me $80 to adjust the headlights because it was supposedly a difficult process but I would get a lifetime warranty on readjusting them if necessary. My 2nd visit was because the car was still sputtering but much worse and the headlights were now pointed down too far. It was determined that I needed new spark plugs, which were replaced and the headlights were adjusted up slightly and was told to come back again if they were still too low (I live an hour round trip away). My third visit was due to a check engine light and to adjust my headlights up AGAIN. The check engine light was corrected but I was told that the headlights were pointed up as far as possible. I told them that was ridiculous since you could see them pointed straight down at the ground but they were unwilling to adjust them anymore. I was also told that my battery was DEAD and that I needed a new one at the cost of $250. I thought that was odd since I hadnt noticed any issues with it so I declined. When I did, I was told that they would need to jump start it for me to pick it up, so I said ok. When I got there to pick up my car, I walked out to it, it started just fine and havent had a single issue with the battery. It was a straight up LIE!! So then I went on YouTube to find out how I could adjust my headlights. The difficult process required a screw driver and 5 minutes of my time. So, again another LIE. After each visit I was told that I would receive a survey and was given a piece of paper with instructions on exactly how I should complete it. I was told to give only the highest rating for every question or else the attendant wouldnt get paid for his services. I am not the type of person to leave bad reviews. I wanted to believe that this was a good and honest service center but I feel cheated out of my money and appalled that I was lied to on multiple occasions and on top of it, guilted into leaving a good review in order for an employee to be paid. Needless to say, I will not be back.

I purchased my vehicle there it was a 2022 Kia Sportage and 10 days later I had a blow out and my airbags deployed. I had my vehicle towed to the service collision center and I have yet to speak with anyone about what was going on with my vehicle that was the beginning of June we are now the end of July and my insurance is going to total my vehicle. There was never a call back with updates you could never speak with anyone the customer service was horrible and I will never purchase a another vehicle there again.

Needed to get the oil change and inspection done; turned out the battery was the factory original and 6 years old. Brad and his team pointed it out after the Soul didn’t turn over. Was able to get battery and oil change done by trusted technicians instead of some random untrained technicians that don’t now all the ins and outs of Kia vehicles.

This was the worst experience with the service center ever. First off I did a walk in to try and drop off my car for repairs to be told the next appointment would be 3 weeks away. So I scheduled the appointment and left. Dropped off my car 3 weeks later to be told there were no loaners available and I would be put on the waiting list. Never got a loaner. I had to be inconvenienced by catching rides and to work everyday. The dealership had my car for 2 weeks with barely no communication. I was told they would diagnose the problem in a couple days which didn’t happen. I called for a week and a half with no answer. Finally got my car back repaired 2 weeks later. Very unhappy 🙁 with the customer service. Thank God my car is paid off. I would not buy another Kia due to the service alone. This was not a good experience.
