If you’re look for a family friendly fishing experience Last Chance is a great choice. We took our family with kids 12-4 for a 2 hour excursion. Tanner was our captain and he was fantastic. He knew all the best spots and 2 of my kids caught 24 to 32 inch fish. It’s not a guarantee that you catch something but tanners knowledge of the water definitely was the reason we had success. He’s great with kids and answered all their questions. We had a blast and made great memories. We would definitely book with them again!!!

We had a blast! Caption Justin was an amazing professional with a sniper accurate attack with his casting. He could put your bait into any 2 foot circle within range. The wind was really high, we knew that, so it made the fishing a little more of a challenge. Capt. Justin knew what to do to maximize our fishing experience. The 6 of us caught 25 fish. We were able to keep 4. We fed the crew fish tacos back at the beach house. They did an excellent job of filleting the fish and getting down the road. We made memories and had awesome fresh fish tacos!

Went on 4 hour charter with Captain Tanner and it was great. Fishing was tough but Tanner kept moving and trying different things. He even asked us if we could stay and extra 1/2 hour so we could fish one more area. Highly recommend Last Cast Charters and Captain Tanner if youre looking for a bay fishing excursion.

I’m only 17 and I play baseball all summer so we don’t get a lot of time to do things like this and Mitchell really made my summer. Today 8/3/2021 me and my best bud and his two boys went out with Last Chance Charters and had an absolute blast catching fish. Blake ran an outstanding charter. Caught a nice slot red and several over slot in the high 30 inch range. When our forearms couldnt handle any more bull reds we went inshore to fish top water. Got fish and had a great time- 10/10 charter, would recommend!

Highly recommended. Justin was our Captain for the day. We were catching fish within 35 minutes of being on the boat, after Justin caught some bait fish with a cast net. We caught 21 fish with 12 of them being keepers. Justin worked hard all day and made sure all 6 of us had lines in the water. If you’re looking for an inshore fishing trip, Captain Blake is the way to go.

Been fishing with these guys for around 5 years or so. Every year we come to Destin we always book a trip or two. I’ve fished with almost every captain and they are all exceptional. The service is second to none. These guys really work hard to put you on the fish and to take care of you during your trip. Even if you don’t catch many fish, you will still have a great time. I won’t use any other charter service in Destin.

We had a great outing with Captain Justin. He was patient with our kids and showed everyone exactly what to do. When the water got a bit too rough at one spot, we didn’t need to ask - he just instinctively said “maybe this isn’t about place” and we packed up and went to a different spot. Highly recommend.

What an experience! We arrived at the dock, caught some bait, watched dolphins, and caught a bunch of fish! My kids loved it and we were by the land the entire time. Captain Blake was great with my young ones and also with my teen. My teen wants to celebrate his birthday every year on this boat. We will be back!

The bottom line is we had a great experience fishing with Captain Blake. We only caught a few keepers but Captain Blake did his very best to get us to good fishing areas. I think the other reviews here about the number of fish caught are completely misguided. I had a great trip and built great memories that I will keep with my 3 sons after this fishing trip. Awesome fishing trip! We went at the beginning of July and caught a bunch of reds! Capt. Blake was great. We took our son, nephew and a friend, ages 9 - 15, and they had a blast fishing and telling stories after.

My husband and sons, ages 12 and 9, have used Last Cast Charters for the last few years. This year, my 4 year old also joined them. Captain Blake and his crew always find fish to catch and are extremely patient and helpful with kids! We highly recommend them!!!

Captain Blake knows exactly what he is doing! We booked a trip in October and when we went out he knew exactly where to go to catch the perfect bait fish. We were able to catch our own bait but he also threw in a cast net which caught the bait that worked the best. As we showed up to the spot we were gonna fish a different Captain of another boat told us that the fishing was slow but it wasnt slow for us! Captain Blake put out 2 poles and within no time at all we were hooked up with a big red fish. We caught a total of 11 great big red fish in only a couple hours while the boats right besides us only got maybe 1 or 2. If you want to catch fish then book a trip here with Captain Blake and Last Cast Charters!

This was by far the best fishing experience ever. We were close to land, and the scenery was beautiful. The guide was great with my kids and we all caught some great fish. We will go again with Captain Blake.

Awesome trip!!, Blake did an awesome job at putting my father and mother in law on fish, my father in law caught the biggest fish of his life, a bull red almost 40. I was super stoked. He is a vietnam vet and said after the fact that was the best fishing trip he ever has been on. We didnt keep many fish because most of our fish were over slot, but who in their right mind would complain about their guide putting them on big fish???,?, huge gator trout and reds. We came hone with enough fillets for several fine meals. I would recommend these guys for sure, i take several charter trips every year and can tell you, captain Blake is top notch.

We met and hit the water right on time. Captain Blake was friendly, professional, and quickly made us feel at home. Our group ran the gamut from gramps to dad to a 6-year-old chatterbox. None of us had done this kind of fishing. With a short tutorial we were quickly into it; and, as we worked along a stretch of shoreline, it suddenly felt like someone had dropped a bowling ball on the hook. These redfish and speckled trout are heavy fighters and wonderful to catch. We had a fine time and I won’t soon forget the experience.

Admittedly Last Chance Charters was the second guide I booked with. Captain Blake should be your first and only guide. We met Tanner on the dock as per directions. After a short ride Tanner pulled in a canal and caught live bait for the day. What an awesome trip! We didn’t quite limit out. But we did catch our limit on some of the nicest Reds we have ever seen. The Spec’s were huge! Captain Tanner kept us on the fish and was the perfect guide. We are planning on coming back to Destin in a month or so. Plans are to book another trip with Captain Tanner. I can highly recommend Last Chance Charters, Captain Blake and Captain Tanner. First Class all the way. Thanks guys for the awesome trip!

We went out this morning with Capt Justin and had a great trip. Started off with some Dolphins right at the boat while he caught some fresh bait with his excellent cast net skills. The fish were being a little difficult and we had to try a few spots before we caught any, but ended up with a pretty good haul. Capt. Justin was very knowledgeable about were to go and can cast you to the perfect spot if you need help. We just decided to go fishing yesterday afternoon and Blake was very accommodating and got us a trip this morning, thank you. We will eat good tonight.

The Captains at Last Cast Charters Know the Waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay like the back of their hand. They will work hard to put you on the fish no matter what the conditions are and they are just nice people to deal with!

Outstanding trip with Captain Tanner! Our trip focused on four youngsters going out on a much anticipated fishing excursion. The Conditions were not favorable, but Captain Tanner never stopped working and put the kids on fish!!! He was super attentive and very personable. Went out this morning with Capt. Justin. We had a blast!! We’ve never caught so many big specs as we did today! They were all 2lb-4lb fish. Also caught a couple really nice reds. Capt Justin knows how to get it done, from catching bait for you, to baiting your hook, netting your fish, cleaning your fish and putting them on ice for you! He’ll even cast it for you! We had my son and my Dad with us, and he’s great with all ages. My boy was getting tired of reeling in fish! If you’re ever in Destin and want to catch reds and specs, this is THE place to go. Not my Last Cast Charter!I have to say Thank You to my friends at Last Cast Charters! We have used other guide/charter fishing services in the past for Bay and Gulf fishing. They were difficult to contact and not very flexible regarding weather changes or other last-minute circumstances that may affect the experience. Not these guys. When you contact them, there is minute-by-minute updates on the conditions to make sure its a SAFE and rewarding outing. The Captains are great and accommodating. None better in the Destin area. I have been out with every member of the Last Cast Charters team, each experience has been fantastic. Over the years I have brought friends and family members and created memories to last a lifetime. These guys work extremely hard to make sure that you put as many fish in the boat as possible. Today we caught a number of trout, redfish and finished up with A 28lb Jack! If you are in the Destin area and thinking about fishing, these guys are the real deal, cant recommend them enough.
