Excellent time. Kids had a ball. Saw lots of dolphins. Also Saw sand sharks & a barracuda. The inside cabin had AC if it is too hot. You can see well from inside too. The captain was great. He got right next to a few a pods of dolphins. He is also very knowledgeable about the area and the history.

Awesome and well worth the money! The captain is very knowledgeable, saw a group of 7-8 dolphins, sharks out in the gulf and just a really nice boat ride. Highly recommend

We had a blast the crew was very nice and helpful as well as the captain they helped us with tips to catch the fish and baiting the lure I would definitely go again with this crew.

This was the BEST dolphin cruise! The captain and crew were super friendly we followed a family of 7 or 8 dolphins for about 30 minutes before crossing around the bay. They had snacks and drinks available for only a dollar. Another neat thing was they will let you feed details as they are flying alongside the boat! It was such a neat trip and very cheap and I highly recommend them!!

Booked a 8hr Charter for 4/22 over a week out and day before was canceled due to not being filled. Then was offered to do the 6hr charter which we did. Unfortunately we didnt really go deep sea like other charters Ive been on, we basically went a hour east, fished for a bit then drove a hr back. At no point could we not see land which is odd for a deep sea fishing trip and unlike others Ive been on. This had a impact on fish caught, because everything was on the small side and very few caught. The deck hands were awesome but the captain....not so much.He acted like a crotchety jerk.Unfortunately we wouldnt use them to go deep sea fishing again.

We had a blast! Our kids had a ball, the adults loved it. It was fun for the entire family. We saw at least 20 dolphins during our hour tour. It was so worth it.

The best part was the dolphins. The beautiful animals were all around the boat. There were at least 6 different ones, even a baby dolphin!🐬💗🐬 💖The worst part was feeling like I was about to get pooped on by seagulls. Feeding them was encouraged. You can buy chips on the boat for $1 to feed the birds. They were everywhere, had to dodge a few before they flew onto my head.The boat holds a lot of passengers, seats are on two levels. When the boat rocked some passengers started screaming so buyer beware, there are idiots among us.Overall 4 stars because the crew was great and we had a nice time.

Captain Alex and Alexis were fantastic! Had a great time with the kids and were able to see a couple PODS of dolphin. Including a couple babies, one which was only a couple days old. Very knowledgeable and a good time thanks

Loved this cruise. We didnt make the 2pm. However the 330 was 2 hours almost. We saw a lot of dolphins. The excursion host are funny & corny at the same time. We went into the gulf and it was choppy & rocky. So if you do go & get seasick please sit at the bottom. The boat will rock. The seagulls love riding next to the boat to eat chips out your hand. They are aggressive, but the people who were up for feeding the birds were falling , brave & scared. It was so hilarious 🤣 😂. Fun times. I would go again but maybe on the shorter boat ride.

We arrived with about a minute to spare due to heavy traffic. Crew was waiting for us. Very nice! They were very friendly and enthusiastic the whole time. Showed lots of hustle despite a crowded boat.Boat was clean ( for a fishing boat) and well maintained. Captain stayed on Bridge but interacted with the customers over the microphone. Their rating would be higher, except that they gave our fish to another group! They were very nice about it and volunteered to return the tip we gave them ($40 for two people).

Fishing trip was ok, deck hands were nice. The captain was pretty rude. Didn’t speak to any of the passengers, never smiled, very grumpy. Deck hands even made it clear that if the captain had to come down for any reason, he would not hesitate to “light in to you”. Pretty unprofessional for being in the tourist industry. BTW, doesn’t seem to know where the fish are located either.

My girlfriend and I took the sunset cruise. The boat was clean and appeared well taken care of. The crew was nice and a bunch of dolphins. As the sun was going down we pulled away from shore to watch the sunset. The tour was the highlight of our trip to Destin. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

They dont allow you to bring GPS devices but fail to realize that everyone on the boat pretty much has one on them. Not only that but some cameras unless its a none digital camera couldve GPS logging. Im just saying theyre trying to not have their spots leaked they take you you fishing at. Unless theyre gonna search your stuff before you get on the boat chances they might as well forget about trying to find their fishing spots anyone who has a cell phone on the boat already has the latitude and longitude even though its highly likely to be off by anywhere from 5 to 10 miles or more. Not allowed to bring your gopro so not worth it. I could get the GPS location with a small device the size of a ink pen theyre worried about a gopro leaking the GPS lmao.

Took the family for our first deep sea trip, and was sooooo impressed. We actually took 7 off in no time catching. The crew and capt. Were so fun, and funny. They are very helpful, and educational. I recommend it to anyone wanting to try for a first time. Nobody left empty handed and it was a great experience.

We were on fish from the start and were able to head back in early after hitting our limits. My niece even caught the biggest fish on the boat the red grouper!I will be back for sure!!!

I would like to commend Captain John Gibson for a job well done on the 5 recent fishing excursion since June 01, 2021. He’s extremely knowledgeable with not only putting you in position to catch the fish of your dream, he’s equally compassionate to following the guidelines of the FWC. He’s in fact one of the best boat captains I’ve ever encountered. He additionally holds his crew to the highest level of professionalism. And before I forget, “we caught so many amazing fish, HOGS! Thanks Captain Gibson. You’re the man! Much respect!

The dolphins werent very active so didnt see much of them but did see quite a few! They do their best to make sure you do. Our captain was great, had lots of positive energy and had that Matthew McConaughey vibe to him. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous. Was a great trip. I think what you have to remember is that you may or may not see a lot of the waters wildlife but thats just the nature of the ride. At the very least, its relaxing just feeling the wind blow through your hair, having no worries for the moment, and letting someone else take control for a bit.

J in had a wonderful experience with the crew in the Gulf Breeze. This was my second time going out to sea on a Olin Marler charted. My last trip was on the tropical winds and I only caught 2 fish and there crew was not helpful to my son and myself. The crew on the Gulf Breeze actually took the time to instruct us on how to bait and what fishing poles were right for my son and myself. My 10 year old son caught 4 fish and we had a total of 23 fish with 17 keepers. The crew caught a 50 pound Wahoo on the way out to sea and they gave us all a taste of it with a nice chunk to take home. The last time I went out the crew caught a fish and didn’t give us anything. This crew by far for myself was more friendly and not so greedy with the fish they caught. I will request this crew for sure next time without a doubt for me the better if the 2.

Was suppose to go fishing. They are for real about 72 hour notice. Even my brother who was booked to go. Unfortunately died in his sleep hours before we were to get up and ready to go. I called they said sorry but would not even refund or reschedule. WHAT A WAIST

My wife and I booked a fishing trip through this business, we had a fun time right up until our 65.00 per person trip was double charged and our 147.00 fishing trip cost us 294.00, then they refused to refund the 2nd 147.00 they charged us. It was a slow afternoon for them so i guess they had to make up there losses by stealing money from the guests they had that day. Stay away from these crooks unless you want to pay twice the amount there site says it is .

Amazing experience I saw a baby dolphin and got some amazing pictures.

Bait constantly falls off hooks, despite following their guidance. I understand 4 hour trips don’t promise much. But for that money you can fish on the shore and take home way more fish. Not horrible but not great. Just don’t think it was worth the money. Great staff, no fish for dinner.

Had a wonderful time on my very first fishing charter. Had a great time and also saw some dolphins. Me and my friends caught a nice amount of fish. We were on the Trade Winds and captained by Steve Allen, he surely put us near the fish. Brodie and Brandon also made the trip all the better and later filleted the fish for us.Would highly recommend!

Make sure to go on a dolphin cruise with Capt Roy. This would have been our 8th year to go on a cruise with him. The captain today was not good. Not very friendly. Also they don’t do front-of-the-boat pics anymore, which is really disappointing. Lastly, our cruise should have been cancelled due to the rain and rough seas. I guess it’s more important to make money than an enjoyable time for guests anymore. Sadly, I’ll be checking out other cruises for our future rides.

The guides were fun, friendly and helpful! We caught plenty of fish, they filleted them for us and we had a restaurant prepare them. We had a great trip!

Well worth the money for a semi private charter. Didnt get on big reds, or anything big, and couldnt outrun/avoid the dolphins but caught a good amount and had a great time. Staff kept up with releases and bait restock as well as quick cleaning after. Would use again.

First off, the deckhands were spot on amazing! They hustled and were very helpful. I took my dad on a 10 hr fishing trip. We went on Gulf Breeze. The bathroom smelled like raw sewage and had no running water/hand sanitizer. The boat has 2 tables and one long bench in a poorly air conditioned cabin for 38 people. It was crammed full so we had to stay outside and we basically cooked in the sun on the 3 hour ride back. The captain was grouchy and at the spots we were actually catching fish would say “We’ve worn out our welcome” and move to a different spot. I’ve caught more fish on much shorter tours. If they could address the bathroom situation and get a different captain, I wouldn’t mind no AC.

Amazing time!! They went above and beyond to help my family get out on a cruise! We had a great time, seen lots of dolphins and had many laughs! Would do it again for sure!

This is an AMAZING dolphin cruise! The dolphins swam very close to the boat the whole time which made for great pictures and memories! The staff was very helpful and entertaining! Snack bar on the boat was cheap! The boat was very large and nice. Great for a family outing and an easy way to go out on the ocean! Very worth the price!!

Fishing was ok I’m sure you’d get this experience from any charter in destin…Confusing parking situation…the crew was great but rude staff onshore….come back from trip and vehicle gone towed…8 of us stood in the rain trying to figure out how to get back to our rental… not what I consider a fun day and how I would ever treat a customer…if people are continuing to be confused about the parking then you may want to consider changing some signs and better instructions from the staff that initially tells you where to and how to park…here’s for setting an example like it’s kindergarten

John and Alex had my side of the boat and they were awesome! We did a 10 hour fishing charter party (35 people) and it was a blast! The captain of the Gulf Breeze was very talented and put us on top of fish! The majority of the time the weight would hit the ocean bottom and BAM! You were having a bite! Lots of snapper and porgy, unfortunately a day late for red snappers (caught a bunch of those and had to throw back).

The guys that did the cruise did a great job and very knowledgeable about everything we seen... Was fun and I had a great time

Saw dolphin before we got the bridge. The captain and crew were great. Very informative, funny and kept everyone entertained. They got the dolphin to ride the wake. Best part of the trip. Dolphin just feet from the back of the boat. Jumping constantly. I only took video. No photos of that yet.The boat is easy to find. Its the big yellow one. The website says park closer to the the boat but thats a fee. I parked in harborwalk parking and its free. Only a 5 minute walk.Look forward to our next dolphin cruise.

I understand there is no control over any sea life being present, but the overall experience was terrible. If there was music playing you could barely hear it. No one from the cruise spoke to us once we had boarded. The MC only talked to give us pointless information. AJs was much better.

Our dolphin cruise was such a great time! My kids loved it and we were able to see tons of marine life: lots of dolphins, sharks, stingrays, and jellyfish!! This tour definitely delivered. They were on time and the captain shared tons of great info about Destin! We would definitely recommend this to others for the value and experience! Lots of fun :)

We’ve been on this boat like 3 years ago and was amazing!Tonight… the worst! Took the 7pm tour. Boring, We never went to open sea, we lost like 20 min “watching” restaurants and then went to the open waters exit but never past thru the rocks!We spent 1 hr going back and forth trying to see 1 dolphin instead of go further.Money steal, totally disappointed!

Deep Sea Fishing TripWe choose the afternoon trip on Tropical Winds with Captain Allen and crew. Trip was somewhat eventful, we caught a couple of Red Snapper but had to throw back since they were not in season.The other fish were ok kinda small but keepers. However not sure what happened to our fish at dock. You are suppose to keep what you caught and the crew fillets them and bags them for you to take. We caught 7 fish and were told by crew there were 2 fish that were unclaimed by another guest and they would give them to us. When we returned home we only found 9 fillets doesnt quite add up, my understanding is that there is 2 fillets per fish so should have been 18 fillets.

Enjoying a couple hours out on the water can be found in many different fashions in this town. But with the folks at Olin Marler, you can have fun and let them take care of everything. We have tried all the local dolphin cruises but fell in love with this group pretty quick. Enough so that we booked the whole boat back in 14 for our wedding party to get out. Always a pleasure with these guys and tonight was no different

We had booked 2 weeks in advanced and had planned for a night of dinner with some fresh fish caught from the boat. The day before the trip it was cancelled because they were short a few people. Unless you want to be cancelled on last minute, I would look else where.

This was SO FUN & well worth our ticket price! Definitely recommend this activity! We saw a herd of at least 30 dolphins. All ages of dolphins from young to old. The tour was educational, comical & certainly entertaining the entire time.

We couldn’t make our scheduled tour and I called to look for options, the “manager” refused to talk with me and told me it wasn’t her problem (clearly I never suggested it was her problem, but most professional companies make an effort to help out their customers) what did Christie do? She hung up on me. Read other reviews—they attack anyone who posts anything negative.It’s a pathetic money grab.Addition 3/16 Note the reply below: “ Unfortunately it is not the companys fault you didnt secure your transportation to the excursion before booking the excursion.” I didn’t blame you and that statement, combined with hanging up on me is what is so wrong with your customer service.I asked for some level of assistance other than ‘not our problem, we got your money.’ Blaming the customer in the review is really a shameful practice and I see you do this in every critical review.Olin Marler Charter Fishing and Dolphin Cruises has my telephone number, but has not contacted me about my concerns, instead they have replied to each of my honest reviews (here and other forums) with self-serving dishonesty about what happened. They have literally spent more time attacking me and my review of their business than they did speaking to me.

This was a great experience. I was aboard the tropical winds fishing boat and it was great! The crew was super friendly and helpful. The only bad thing was that the boat was really rocky, so I recommend taking some motion sickness medicine if you get sea sick easily. It was also super nice that the crew filets your fish for you so you could take the fish home for a nice meal. Overall I had a great time and highly recommend fishing through Olin Marlers!

We booked the dolphin viewing cruise weeks before our vacation, then the day before the cruise someone in our group tested positive for COVID and we had two kids in the group showing symptoms. We missed the 24 hour cancellation window, but we decided to call anyway to see if they would make an exception for us, considering the circumstances. Not only did the owner refuse to issue a refund (which is totally fair since we were outside of the window), but he also told us that he didn’t care that one of us had COVID, and that we were still welcome to come aboard! This was shocking and unprofessional. It’s one thing to refuse the refund, but for goodness sake, try to follow some level of safety protocol and don’t welcome people with COVID onto a boat with unaware strangers to catch it!A quick update: we were contacted a few days later by an employee who informed us that the owner is not a man. (There was apparently some miscommunication when we called TripShock to request a refund. The Trip Shock representative did all of the communicating with the owner and acted as a liaison. She used the pronoun “he” so I assumed the owner was a male). The woman who called me after reading this review was very concerned and confused over why I called the owner a “he”. So I thought I’d clear that up: the owner of this established, who happens to be a woman, told a Trip Shock representative that people actively infected with COVID that they are welcome aboard their crowded shop filled with tourists.

Great 4 hour fishing trip. I cant speak to all the boats and crews, but we were on the Tropical Winds and it was a great time. Steve-o was awesome, Marcus was great and the captain was engaged and nice. Great Job guys!

I think that the captain should have re-evaluated whether he should have gone out with just a normal bunch of people and kids. The Seas where going anywhere from 6 to 10 ft swells and almost everyone on the boat was sick. For a seaworthy crewmate or Captain that was probably no big deal, but for most it was. Fortunately my wife and I were not affected and had a great time fishing but did not appreciate dodging vomit in people running to get sick...

A lot of people fishing on a party boat. A fair value at $75 /6 hours.There were surprisingly few tangled lines which were primarily caused by fish stealing dolphins! The dolphins in family pods were intelligent enough to wait till we caught nice sized fish before cleverly swooping in to steal our catch! Delightfully entertaining to me; not-so-much for our Captain.Crew were fantastic - especially John: personable, helpful and encouraging.

I paid over $600 and drove 2 hours for 5 people to go deep-sea fishing with these people. When we got to the dock we had to pay $10 to park in a parking lot that had no open parking spots. I was literally on the phone with them. When I ran up to their booth just in time to see the boat leave the dock without us on it. WE WERE ONE MINUTE LATE. They refused to let us get on the boat that was less than the boats length away from us. We were told that there was nothing they could do. WE WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE BOAT. WE WOULD NOT GET A REFUND. WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO RESCHEDULE. The girl working the booth was incredibly rude. Layed back in her chair wouldnt even pick her head up to look at me when I was talking to her she just stared up at the sealing mumbling no, no, no, no. Now I had purchased tripflex so that if anything happened I could get a refund. So I called them only to be told that the manager said a refund is not possible because we were late. WE WERE 1 MINUTE LATE BECUASE THE PARKING LOT WE HAD TO PAY $10 TO PARK IN WAS FULL. The lady I spoke too told me to call olin marlers back and ask to speak to Kristy that she is the manager and would be able to help me. So I called the girl that answered the phone very rudely said shes not here and hung up the phone. So I tried to call tripflex back. And was hung up on before I was even able to tell her what my situation was. This whole ordeal has been absolutely ridiculous.

AWFUL time... Glass bottom was a joke. Snack bar was bags of chips, coke and sprite. I would not even give them 1 star but I had to so I could write a review. I DO NOT recommend anyone wasting their time. Go to another boat

Well I had placed a reservation two weeks in advance and they decided to cancel less than 12 hours before our charter was suppose to leave… we tried to get it rescheduled but they explained they were all booked up. I guess it’s just gods way of saying this charter wasn’t worth the time or the money.

I woke up with two sick kiddos, while on vacation. I asked for half my money back because they were sick. (There was 6 of us going) They refused. I thought I would be doing my part in not wanting to potentially get another person sick. She told me to quit being a Karen and if I was afraid on covid I should of stayed in Indiana. I will be reporting to BBB.

It was a good time. But like all party fishing boats, it takes over an hour just to get to the fishing spot, so there is little time for fishing. Crew was helpful. Marlers is more expensive than American spirit for the same thing though.
