We had an awesome time fishing. Our captain worked hard to get us on fish. My 11 loves to fish and asks a TON of questions. Our captain was happy to answer all of them. It was our first ocean fishing experience and it could not have gone any better. A true professional guiding service. We will be back for sure!

Booked Destin Inshore Guides due to their reviews, and we were not disappointed. Captain Josh was fun friendly and professional. 4 hour bay trip, had our limit and was back at the beach with family by noon. Captain Josh was good with the young kids and even the adults who needed help. Once back at the dock Captain Josh filleted our fish and we took it to local restaurant for a excellent dinner. (Mangrove Snapper). Great experience for the kids to catch and eat the same day. See ya next year !

Our family had such a fun, memorable time with Brody! He is super personable, kind, and patient. Our 10 year old son caught 2 gag groupers (among lots of other fish he caught) which apparently is very rare to do! The people on other boats around us were looking at us in amazement at all the fish we were catching. Brody knew exactly where to stop to have the best chance of catching fish. Brody gladly helped our son out whenever he needed. I highly recommend this company. We will be going on another fishing trip with them in the future! Thanks Brody!

We had a fabulous time on our 2-hour kids fishing trip! Captain Josh was very professional, easy to talk to, and handled the kids great! We had a little trouble getting on the fish at first, but he was in constant contact with the other captains about where to go. In the end, the two kids caught 3 and 4 fish each, and the parents even caught a couple. The kids were excited that they were able to catch fish from a real boat. A wonderful time was had by all, and we have the photo memories to prove it!

Our group of 4 went shark fishing with Brody as our guide this past weekend. We all had a great time! He made the experience so easy and enjoyable. This is our second experience with this company and both have been worth every penny. Highly recommend

This was the first time we went fishing on vacation. We have a 7yo and 4yo and Josh, our guide and the owner, was amazing! We loved him baiting for us, throwing lots of chum, and he knew the spots to get our kiddos on fish. We didn’t expect to take our catch home, mainly wanted to enjoy the water and have our kids catch anything, so catching dinner was just a bonus! We will never be able to go on vacation again and not go out with Inshore Guides! They were great!!! Must do!

Captain was a good guy very friendly, but for the price we paid I figured we would’ve been put on a lot more fish than 5 hard tail all under average 10 inches and 1 founder, I get it may have not been such a good day fishing but we were fishing near a dolphin for about an hour and a half which is usually a red flag for me when going bay fishing and it took 3 of our fish off the hook, I fish in Corpus Christi all year round and I never fish around dolphins for the purpose of them eating and scattering the fish which was kinda suspect for me but I didn’t say anything. Captain did his best to put us on fish but kinda left a bitter taste in my mouth for Florida bay fishing since I’m use to catching fish.

Destin Inshore Guides is a top notch charter company. Captain Brodie took us out this morning, and out us right on the fish. 2 experienced fishermen, and 2 rookies. It was really fun and I highly recommend me and my family went on separate boats me and my family went with Captain Josh and my other family went with Captain Kyle and we all had a really good time and they cut the fish for you and we had more fish than we could eat .Both of the captains were really kind and really cool.

Just had a trip with Capt. Josh and it was great! He worked tirelessly to get us on fish. Made sure everyone was having a good time and had bait on their hook. Trolled for Spanish Mackerel and had to reel them in before the dolphins ate them right off the line.

Top notch! We would definitely recommend Captain Brody. Our charter consisted of a party of 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 5 to 10). Captain Brody worked the whole time to make sure we had baited hooks and that we were happy, to be honest we had him going back and forth tending to hooked fish! Kyle was great! We had a fantastic time fishing. He put us on fish first thing in the morning and we caught a few. We tried several other spots but they would just steal our bait. The last hour of the trip, he put us on a really good spot where we were able to catch enough for our entire family of 13 to enjoy a dinner that night of what we caught. Kyle even made a stellar recommendation of Dewey Destins Seafood to cook our catch for us.We will be booking with Destin Inshore Guides again next time we come back to Destin for vacation.

We went on a 3 hour family fishing trip with captain Josh. We caught plenty of fish for all three kids to reel in multiple catches. They were beyond excited! We also saw plenty of dolphins, which swam right up to the boat and were a constant source of entertainment as well. Josh was great showing us around and keeping the kids on fish the entire time. Now that we know what to expect with our kids (7,5 and 3 years old), this will be an annual tradition and will try the longer more advanced trip next time as well. Also, Anna was extremely helpful when I called to plan the trip. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable to make sure we selected the best option. Great time and glad we went!

Our family of four had a great time fishing with Captain Josh! We did a two hour fishing trip and that was a great amount of time for our first trip with our kids (8 & 6 yo). My daughter (8) is energetic and loves to fish. She could have handled more time on the boat, especially because the fish were really biting! Our son is not as into fishing, so he was finished earlier than we hoped, but I planned for that and brought him snacks and other entertainment.Josh was a knowledgeable fisherman and was patient to answer ALL my daughter’s questions about the fish we caught. He made sure she was engaged the whole time. My husband loved catching the mangrove snappers. He is ready to go back again!

Traffic made us a few minutes late and just as we got on board, our youngest totally lost it. Captain Si was completely patient with us as we tried to deal with the situation. The youngest ended up staying behind with mom and we went ahead. Once the fishing began, he was able to continually keep the kids engaged and interested. Started off catching smaller stuff, but soon moved to catching flounder, redfish and jack, all in the span of less than 2 hours. Kids loved it! Allowed the kids to participate fully and made it a whole lot of fun. All in all a great experience. Would definitely do it again. Thanks, Captain Si!

The family went shark fishing on 5/30/2020. We had the best time! We can’t remember the name of our captain but he made sure that we had a great time. He took us to different locations to make sure we caught something. No luck on the sharks but plenty of fish. My daughter and I whooped the boys butts in fishing! Thanks again for such a memorable time!! We will return.

Booked a trip in mid September this year with Destin Inshore charters, and we had a fantastic time. Captain Taylor put us on some nice fish. We caught over 45 - 50 Red fish with about 10 - 12 doubles. This was my first time salt water fishing, and i am now hooked. We also got on some Mangrove snapper and i missed on a spanish mackerel. It was a great trip and i would definitely do it again.

Our trip was amazing!! Capt Josh put us on some Tarpon within about 45 min of sitting foot in the boat. Spent a few hours chasing some tarpon and 30 min fighting a nice 100+ as well. Josh then took us out a little further and put us on some sharks. My 14 y/o son had a blast and was able to reel in 4 shark in about one hour!!Needless to say we will BE BACK as soon as we can make it to the gulf again!!! Went with Josh on a four hour trip today and he was awesome. He knows the fish and gave us a variety of species to catch the first two hours and then we hammered some huge bull reds the last two hours. We went inshore fishing today with Si I had a 8 year old and a 14 year old with me and he was tons of help allowing me to fish as well job putting us in fish we had a lot of fun it was probably one of the funnest things we did on our vacation they are top rated on customer service and thats why they have 5 star review there was an issue when I booked and I was notified the next morning that they were going to be very tight getting us out on the water and they made accomidations to make sure that we did I guarantee that most of the other charters would not have accommodated us like they did.. I also want to point out that these guys dont own the boats and that though a tip is not required it is a great way to show the appreciation in the memories that theyve made for you and your family...We want to thank SI and Destin inshore guides!!!! We will absolutely be back again and again....

Took my family out on Memorial day weekend on a 4 hour trip and only caught 4 very small fish. I know it was a busy weekend but we were expecting a lot more. Kids got bored because we were not catching anything and just running around from spot to spot. Captain Kyle did work hard to find fish but just couldnt seem to find any which is surprising considering we are with a professional guide and on the ocean that is full of fish. I know its fishing but was just expecting a little more. Yes we did fish in the bay which should still have more than 4 small fish in it and no one recommended an early 6:00am departure. We actually booked a 3:00pm departure but you called the day before and asked if we could do an 11:00am so we agreed not knowing that the bay traffic would be an issue. I understand the fish dont always bite as expected but that was pretty sad for a professional charter !!

Drove from MO just to have a day of deep sea fishing; turns out there were 30mph winds and nobody was willing to go offshore. Found Josh and got the best inshore experience I could have imagined despite fierce winds. Josh knew what he was doing and we caught better fish than prior experiences I’ve had off shore. Went out with Captain Si on a 4 hr trip. Si had us on the fish in no time. We caught 25 Spanish Maceral in the first hour and decided to try for some reds. Si also put us on the reds. I had my teenage nephew and niece with and they had a great time. Si kept us on fish and kept them entertained the whole time. Will definitely fish with them again next time.

My family and I went out fishing with both boats, captain Robby made for such an amazing guide!! We caught 68 fish total! It was one of the most fun experiences Ive had in a long time. Would highly recommend them if youre looking for very experienced guides and wonderful people to hang out with!

What a catch! We killed it! My young son even reeled in two huge redfish! Captain was great with my young son that is not the greatest at fishing yet. When I first called to book our trip it felt like I was talking to one of my friends. Very friendly and full of southern hospitality. The boat we went out on was very stable and clean. I dont think it was brand new it seemed like it. And all the fishing tackle and gear was well taken care of. I plan on taking my son with these guys year after year. They know where the fish are and take care of you with a servants heart. Dont pass these guys up if your looking to go fishing in Destin!

We had a great experience with Captain Josh. We caught a lot of fish and several different varieties of fish. I would highly recommend using them and I will be looking them up next time I’m in the area.

My wife and I called them late Sunday and they immediately agreed to a Monday morning trip. Weather didnt look too promising (high winds, threat of rain) but Captain Robby did not give up until he found the fish! And Captain Josh made 2 trips out to us to bring live bait (because we had booked so late Sunday). Both Captains were very courteous and and determined to make our fishing trip the best trip possible! This is the only charter we will ever use in this area.

My husband and I had a BLAST fishing with these guys! We went Memorial Weekend when it was very busy on the water but Captain Josh knew the best spots, despite so much traffic! We will go again with this company!

Fantastic and professional company! Anna was very courteous and helpful with answering all my questions. Captain Si was polite and very experienced and knowledgeable. He was exceptionally good with the children. Big bonus with me, he showed me how to properly and quickly filet a fish. Back home we usually just scale and gut fish. He showed me how to filet them and get all the bones out. Can’t wait to try it out on our next camping trip.

My 13 year old Son and myself fished with Captain Josh in early October for the fishing rodeo. My son was able to land what turned out to be a 25 and under first place amberjack award in large part due to the fast thinking and experience from Captain Josh. I was really impressed with how well captain Josh motivated and instructed us, while at the same time was able to maneuver and handle the boat in rough conditions.

I have taken a number of trips with Robby, and have had excellent experiences each time. Robby is super patient and provides personal attention to every one on the trip.

5 people went out on Dec. 23 for 5 hr fishing. Boat was small but captain was courteous. We caught two shipsheads during the first 1.5 hrs near the jetty (which was very slow considering 5 on board) then things started weird. Captain suggested to move and we stopped by 4-5 locations, casting a few then move for 2 hours without hooking any. It was a cold day and driving around was painful. So we went back to the first spot and caught a few black drums. We finally got one redfish that captain wanted to release. As soon as we released the red, captain wanted to move again! We only had 30 more minutes and why do we want to move? The last spot we tried... he said he never fished there. We were very slow that day (i.e., total of 5 fishes from 5 people doing 5 hrs charter fishing in Destin) and he wanted to move the last min. After returned, he spent over 40 mins to fillet the 5 fishes. I could easily tell he doesnt have much experience and my family was joking that he didnt want us to catch more because he had to fillet more. Overall, adding the 20% tip, the total was over $800 and we are not happy at all.Reply: NO, we caught one more small fish. That is it. I didn’t mention that we had to return to the dock because one of the motor went out. Glad that our boat had two motors. The captains knife was dull and he was pulling and tearing meat out of the bone rather than filleting. One time he even tried to cut bones with his knife! Of course didn’t work. He measured the redfish 27 first time then he tried to make it 27.5 so that he can release. He asked me to video tape of him releasing the red and he was so proud of it. We are sure that he was afraid to fillet the 27 red. In addition, the tiny toilet was full of buckets and junk so our ladies had to hassle with all the junk to use the potty. Again, we spent over 3 hrs cruising around rather than casting. We downgraded our rating from two to one star because of the owners poor excuse.

My 9 year old Nephew hauled in a 24 pounder and shortly after my Dad landed his 30 lb Red all on light tackle. We also caught Bluefish, Black Snapper and Spanish Mackerel which we enjoyed that night for dinner.If you are in the Destin area, look no further than these guys for your charter. You wont regret it!
