We booked this fishing excursion last minute 2 days before the actual charter. I’ve used several other companies down here by the Harbor Walk Marina and have had fairly decent luck with most of them. But honestly, Justin and Christian from Destin Inshore Fishing Company is my new GO-TO! Justin knew EXACTLY where to go and get the fish! And Christian, the owner, met us there at the dock and helped clean the fish. He spent a lot of time showing us how to prepare and cook the fish when we got them home. I can’t say enough about how personal and down to earth these guys were. Give them a shot the next time you’re in Destin. You won’t be disappointed!

Captain Kyle really shined on a tough morning! Our family of five (including a 9, 7, and 5 year old) were excited to fish, but the weather wasn’t exactly cooperating. Capt Kyle took us out on a short run, immediately put the kids on some appropriately sized fish, and everyone had a great time. We fished the rain for a while and the guides knew when to call it quits. Great effort, great with kids, everyone had a good time, and the company was more than fair on the weather policy. Highly recommended family trip. Great folks from start to finish.

This fishing charter was very deceiving on what they offered. Starting on the website. They do not offer things listed. I rented as a 5 hour private charter and was told I would have a boat with a restroom- this did not happen, which ruined a lot of the trip. The owner told us to just go in the ocean. He alsoDiscouraged us from taking food because of the no restroom. I have children! They did not accommodate for things we paid for. Owner also claimed to be the one taking us until we arrived in which he then assigned another person. That was fine but just more lies. Very disappointed in this company. I do not recommend especially if you have children.

Captain Justin was terrific with my girls as they caught tons of fish. He was energetic, positive, and eager to take care of us. Christian, the owner, greeted us and got us prepared for our morning excursion. He also gave us great insight about different dining in the area, as well. Highly recommend this outfit for those with experience and those who’ve never fished. As a reminder, keep in mind that you’re hiring a GUIDE, who is human, and only able to take us where they’ve had success before. They’re not God and can’t force the fish to take our bait just because we’ve paid good money. Be kind, courteous, and generous to your guides, and enjoy the time on the water.

Captain Justin was the best! We went out for what was intended to be a 5 hours Fish n Fun excursion with fishing, dolphin sightings, and sand bar time planned, but the kids had so much fun fishing we ended up fishing the entire time! We kept Capt Justin busy pulling in fish after fish. He was entertaining, personable, attentive, and clearly knew the good fishing spots. It was a FABULOUS experience.

Great company and even better hospitality. Justin was the best tour guide and was so helpful. He has so much knowledge about what he’s doing that you can’t help but trust him. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone in Destin looking to go fishing.

Justin was an amazing captain! Incredible experience, he got us all the fish we wanted and more! If you tell him what kind of fishing trip you want (catch and release, fill the freezer, or hook some giant fish), he will deliver!

My crew went out yesterday and had a blast with Justin! He took us to a spot where as soon as the lines were dropped we were pulling up red snappers. He made 6 of us novice fisherman feel like professionals.

My family voted our 4 hour fishing experience a 12 out of 10. Captain Justin was amazing. He didn’t stop attending to our safety, comfort and ensuring we had an exceptional experience the entire time. It was an absolute blast for our entire family and worth every dollar. We caught so many fish, we couldn’t eat them all. Captain Christian was very service oriented, responsive and flexible when booking. Highly recommend this company if you are headed to Destin area.

Went on a 4-hour excursion with my son-in-law and my 2 granddaughters. It was FANTASTIC! Our captain, Jason was amazing with my granddaughters helping them with everything. We caught lots of fish but more importantly we have so many wonderful memories. I would highly recommend them for your next fishing trip.

Overall the trip was terrific and perfectly time for the group we were with which was a grandparent, both parents and 8 yo twins. Be warned that on a 30’ boat in the ocean, you will most likely get wet and it can get a little cold moving from spot to spot.Past that the trip was everything I could hope for. Captain Jason took on the challenge that the kids could not ask enough questions which my son immediately took him up on. He was great and answered them all even if they weren’t about fishing. He took time to make sure they felt included and even made it a point to teach them what everything from the boat the the features of the rods did. After my son mistakingly took his Powerade, he let it roll of and just grabbed a different drink we had.Even after learning a friend had been in a wreck, he still took the time to set up photos and talk the kids through the process of cleaning the abundance of fish we had caught.As for the fishing, it was awesome. The spots we fished were man made artificial reefs by the company which always had us immediately catching fish. There were so many fish that our biggest problem was getting the bait down before fish had ate it.The customer service was a notch above as well. We had booked a Tuesday trip and then were notified that red snapper season had been opened up for the Saturday and Sunday before to see if we were interested. I greatly respect the fact they didn’t try to keep their better reservations opened to see if people would call but have existing clients the chance to upgrade.I would highly recommend them for any size family. If you have the extra money and wanted an upgraded trio where everyone was comfortable and completely dry, take a full day on the 52’ boat with satellite TV, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

Captain Chris took us on short notice and set us up with Captain Josh, who was an incredible guide. Josh got us on fish immediately and he was incredible with my 5 and 8 year old boys helping them catch fish. We caught trigger fish, red snapper, a grouper and I hooked into a 7 foot shark that I was able to get to the boat on 40 lb test... it was an epic battle. This was a day that my whole family will never forget. Many thanks to both Chris and Josh... they are both top notch!

In Destin for vacation and a few of us decided we wanted to take our boys and ourselves fishing and found their brochure in our house we were staying at. Called and got info on them and several others in the area and after talking to the owner Christian decided to go with this fine company. Went on a 5 hour trip with Captain Taylor and this guy knows his stuff and worked his butt off to get us on as many fish as he could. I couldnt have asked for a better trip! We will be using this company on our next trip to Destin and we will def be requesting Captain Taylor. Way more then a 5 star company so check them out!

Went out with Captain Blake with my family. Blake instantly put us on the fish, everyone caught plenty! Without a doubt the BEST fishing experience in Destin! Blake is great, our kids thoroughly enjoyed it & caught plenty of fish.Thank you Blake for a great trip!

Not impressed with this company at all! We booked a trip for my husband, my five year old son and my cousin. When we booked, we asked the owner about the fishing this time of year. He said it was good fishing and we wouldn’t have any issues. The trip was scheduled from 1-5. The boat didn’t leave dock until 1:30. The water was so rough that you couldn’t fish and the boat was back and docked again before 4. We understand that it’s a chance you take, however when we called the owner to see if we were able to get a partial refund since we didn’t get our full trip, he said no because fishing just isn’t good right now and the waters were too rough. Now, as a business owner myself, I wouldve tried to make things right but I also would never tell a client that something is good and then turn around and say it isnt. I wouldn’t have spent $600 on a trip if he would’ve been upfront and honest with me to begin with like a professional owner should. The only thing he offered is two free hours on next years trip. We will never book with this company again. The captain was very nice, but the owner is plain rude and very unprofessional.

Had a great time with Captain Taylor today! We had four kids (ages 10, 8, 5, and 4) and he kept them all safe and entertained. After fishing we went swimming and found hermit crabs then went looking for manatees. At the end Taylor filleted the snapper we caught and we had an awesome dinner. Definitely the most memorable part of our vacation!

Had a good time on our 4 hour evening trip. Everything was satisfactory and we even caught a decent amount of fish. This is a smaller boat at an affordable rate. It is what you make it. If you go thinking youre going on a yacht you may be disappointed. Just go thinking you will catch some fish and have a good time.TIP: you have to park at harborwalk village so leave at least an hour early. We spent 30 minutes trying to park. If you cut it close you will be late.

We booked last minute ! The captain was very accommodating , I brought my daughter her friend and my buddy Mike . We caught about 30 fish over an old ship wreck . We got to see sum Dolphins too . The kids loved it and my wrist is still soar from reeling in soo maney fish 🎣🏆 .. 5 ⭐️

My family and I decided to take this fishing charter because the owner claimed it would be a one-on-one, personalized sea fishing experience and that the trip would be from 1-5. He quoted us a price of $580 flat rate for the afternoon. He later called me to bump up the time because the captain Andy wanted to get out on the ocean earlier and asked us to be there by 12:30, so we did. (assuming this was for weather or quality fishing reasons) It seemed great at first but the captain (alcohol on his breath) of the boat basically did everything, (baiting, casting, reeling, hooking) while we just took a $600 boat ride. He jumped around so much we had to continually get out of his way. Accept for the time he had to take a pee off the back of the boat. Yuck!! Im sorry that is just unprofessional!!!He seemed to be in a big hurry. After he caught 3 fish which I found strange that he asked to keep one for himself (shark bait) he ended our trip by 30 minutes. He did let us reel in a few before the dolphins got them.He chased us down as we were leaving and asked where his tip was. Complaining that he had to buy all the supplies and gas and had to clean the boat and that he would be cleaning the boat well after dark.We were NOT impressed with this company. I would look else where for a chartered fishing boat.

Great company to deal with. Always on fish and is very honest with you about expectations. Never had a bad trip. Always left feeling like we done very well.

I was highly impressed by the personal care and attention given to my 2-man group; especially when other charters seemed disinterested in our last minute fishing trip request. Capt. Christian Duplantis (owner) and Capt. Taylor Bankston (our guide) were extremely courteous, genuine and professional. Although a little early in the fishing season, Taylor knew right where to take us and it produced an awesome amount of fish; so much so that it attracted other charters to anchor right next to us. You made a lifelong customer guys, thank you!

Captain Blake did a great job. First, we caught some bait fish, which may not sound fun, but my 14 and 10 yr old daughters loved it. Then we trolled and caught 4 huge king machrel, which my brother in law and I loved. Then we did some bottom fishing, which we all loved. Blake worked his tail off. I would definitely use them again.

Did a charter this morning and there were 6 of us and 4 kids. The captain was very unhelpful. I spent my time on the trip baiting mine and my sons poles which is there job. I had to unhook the fish as well. The captain spent more time fishing than helping. My girl asked for him to bait her hook for her and he ignored her and kept fishing. She had to say something 3 times. We spent more time driving around than fishing. And when I said something to the owner all he did was put his head down and couldnt say anything, not even an apology cause his captions suck. I should of been paid myself cause I did more work than they did. Horrible experience. I would never recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience fishing with Destin Inshore Fishing Company. Christian (owner) was very accommodating and explained what we could expect from the fishing trip. Taylor (captain) worked very hard to give us a memorable experience! We caught our own baitfish which was fun because as soon as you dropped the line you had one or two on the hook!! Next we were taken to an area where we caught huge trophy class Amberjack and Red Snapper! I have never reeled in fish that big!! Another highlight of the day was seeing 2 enormous Cobia close to the boat. They weren’t eating so we didn’t bring them in (although Captain Taylor tried) but It was awesome just getting a glimpse of these huge fish!! We had dolphins right around us and it was truly a great experience! I highly recommend this company!!

Went on a 5 hour trip the morning of July 21st with Captain Kris Dew. I fished by myself and Kris was straight forward and knowledgeable. Limited out on King Mackerel and Red Snapper. Caught lots of other fish and learned more about saltwater fishing. To date this is the best saltwater fishing trip I have been on and it was because of the knowledge and effort Kris put forward. We were even able to hook into a bonus fish, a grouper. Also caught some Mingos. I would recommend booking a trip with Destin Inshore Fishing Company, Christian runs a good smooth operation. If Kris is available I would ask for him for sure!

Vacationing this week in Destin; decided to take a fishing trip..... went out with Captain Blake this morning and had a great time. Fishing was slow at first but Blake took us to a couple of places and we caught quite a few before our time was up..... Blake kept all of our fishing rods baited and when we caught a fish he would have it off the hook and in the cooler in no time . Planning on taking todays catch (that he fillet for us) to a local restaurant tonight for them to cook for our supper .... definetely would recommend and will be back ... thanks Christian and Capt Blake .

Great time

Loved being out on the water. Captain Blake took care of us like we were family. Bite was slow but Blake did everything he could to put us on the fish. Ended the day with 2 reds one 40 inches and one about 37 inches. Ill definitely be back in July for the dorado, snapper and wahoo

Only caught one Red during a 5 hr trip.... I expected a lot more for the money. Go offshore on a sport fishing charter for the same price you will for sure catch fish.... Or for a fraction of the price jump on a party boat for a few hours.
