Jason and Vinny took 2 adults and 4 kids out today and could not have had a better experience. Not only were they super friendly and fun, we caught over 400 fish in a 6 hour trip. Ive been on numerous chartered fishing trips but his was the best experience by far. They made our kids whole trip and were patient and instructional with them. I wish I could give them 8 stars!!!

Jason and his son know their stuff. Not as friendly at the beginning but they warm up. We had a fantastic 6 hr snapper trip that we cut short because we caught so much fish we were literally done! 21 fish in less than 5 hours and in horrible weather too! The boy has great sitting space inside but we preferred to stay out. Only improvement would be a place to sit outside. We will be back.

Jason and barney were awesome and definitely experienced fishing guides. They did exactly what they said. Put us on some vermillion snapper and lots of white snapper. 3 bonitas. While trolling. I highly recommend great escape charters !! God bless.James hill Friday 8-2-19 morning trip

Went on the 6 hour tour, Jason and his Deck hand Camin were more than helpful. Me, my girlfriend, and her almost 90 year old grandpa took home over 20 pounds of snapper! Can’t go wrong with this charter!!!

These guys are as top notch as they come. We went on a charter on 6-24-19 with them and the experience was awesome. We caught our limit on red snapper. They made sure we had a great time and that the kids got to enjoy every minute of it even thought it was rough out in the gulf with 4-6 foot waves. They made sure the kids were catching fish trying to keep there mind off getting sea sick and enjoying the experience. I would recommend these guys 10 times over and will definitely be back next snapper season to do it all over again

This is the second summer we’ve fished with The Great Escape. Jason and Barney were great, and made sure our party of 6 had an awesome day 8-1-19. Everyone caught fish, and my daughter even caught a 7 foot bull shark! Very attentive, knowledgeable, patient, and fun guys. They’ll make sure you have a good time. Hope to go again next year if we’re in the area!

Captain Jason and 1st mate Barney were awesome and FRIENDLY!!!! We were on fish fast, had a great time and they were attentive to my 9 y/o son and made sure he had a chance to catch fish and me as well. We WILL be back. Great price for what you get compared to other charters.

Had a fantastic experience today with Captain Jason and Barney! Caught our limit on Red Snapper. The Great Escape is a top notch boat with a first class Captain and First Mate. Very personable group! I highly recommend this charter as a first choice in Destin Florida!!

We had an amazing day fishing!!! Captain Jason was great and is deckhand Barney was amazing! We stayed on the fish all day( which made for some happy kids)! We will definitely be back next year!

Going fishing with a captain who is also a diesel mechanic? Welp, there goes my dream of being stranded out at sea in a non-functioning vessel. Guess Ill never get to live out my fantasy of being shipwrecked on a remote island, driving a pedal-powered bamboo car, making a radio out of coconuts, and having to decide whether to procreate with a hot red-headed movie star or a hot brunette farm girl (or both) in order to populate the only piece of land Ill ever see again. Thanks, Jason.Seriously though, its a local boy who knows where the fish are and how to catch them... what more do you need to know? 5 STARS!!

One of the best boats in destin. Captian Jason is verry talented at putting you on the fish and First mate Jacob knows his way around the cockpit. I will defiantly be booking another charter.
