Captain Matt & Cayden were fantastic! We had a great 4hr trip as a family and caught tons of fish!! Highly recommend!!

Early morning fishing trip out of Destin on the opening day of red snapper season caught our limit within a few hours then tried some trolling and other types of fishing. Amazing! Captain Matt is friendly and skilled. He really took the time to explain what is different about gulf fishing and what we needed to be successful. Me and my girlfriend had a blast.

Captain Matt and his deck hand Caden were absolutely phenomenal. They work hard to make the experience the best it can possibly be. We went in the morning and it started slowly. You could hear Capt Matt talking to other boats on radio and all were struggling. He kept at trying spot after spot until we got on some snapper and we eventually limited out. Caught a ton of other fish as well. The fam had a terrific time. Highly recommend for private and intimate charter.

We had a great time with Captain Matt over the weekend. We caught tons of fish. My son (7) and his friend (11) caught fish the entire trip. Captain Matt was incredible with the kids and took great care of us. It is apparent that Cap. Matt is extremely familiar with fishing the area. I highly recommend this charter and will fish again with Cap. Matt next time I am in the Destin, FL area. Thanks again Cap. Matt, the trip was AWESOME!!!!

We booked a trip for 8 hours for 4 people. Captain Matt was very nice and does put you on the fish. It was fun for the guys, but us girls had a few issues. If you are looking for deeper waters to fish in this is not the boat to go on. He currently does not have his permit to fish farther than 9 miles from shore. Disappointed hearing this once we were on the boat due to I expressed my husband was looking to fish larger fish, reason we picked 8 hour trip to begin with.1. There is no bathroom on the boat. Option are to hold it, get in the water, or go off the side of the boat.2. Absolutely NO shade whatsoever.3. Very limited, uncomfortable, and small seats. Pictures attached.If you are looking for a little bit more inexpensive way to fish, and want fish around 16-17 this is a good option. If you are looking for larger fish, more comfortability I would pick a different option. This was our second time fishing on a private charter and I did not realize boats were that different. Make sure to ask how far can they fish out? Is there proper shade? Bathroom on board? AND for sure make sure to see pictures of the boat first.

Had a great time and caught a lot of fish! 5 hour fishing trip was a success!

We came all the way from Maui, Hawaii to fish with Matt and 850 Charters in Destin, Florida. Fabulous private four hour charterMy boyfriend and I went on a private charter with Capt. Matt and had a great time. We didnt have to touch any bait or fish because he did everything for us. He taught us how to fish and knew everything about the fish we were catching. I love cooking the fish we catch and he even gave me recipe ideas, Im making fish tacos tonight!! Every time we cast we caught a fish. Easy, fun, private and one of the best fishing trips Ive ever been on. Thanks Capt Matt!!

Booked a 3 hour charter with Capt Matt and I can honestly say my family and I had the best time. Capt Matt is awesome. Follow up phone calls and texts, puts you on the fish, baits hooks and cleans your catch for later eating. We just got back from an awesome 3 hr trip with Captain Matt. We were scheduled with him on Tuesday but got weathered out. Matt called and let us know and quickly rescheduled us for today. We also mistakenly had booked a catch and release trip but Matt adapted to our wishes and clened our catch.My family of 4 each caught several fish and the smiles on my kids face were well worth it. We will definetely use and recommend Matt in the future.

I had the pleasure of taking a charter with 850 Charters. Captain Matt was fantastic. Safety was his number one priority and that was great to see. It was a great experience for myself and my sons. Captain Matt was extremely knowledgeable about the area and really made the trip worthwhile. He was great with my sons who he helped with fishing and reeling the fish up. We had a wonderful day out with Captain Matt! We were surprised by how many fish we caught. With many different species of fish caught, we also had a pod of dolphins swim with the boat! It was a great experience!

Captain Matt did an great job and had us on fish the entire trip. We landed a 200 lb bull shark along with several vermillion and trigger fish. Caden the first mate, kept our rigs ready and bait on the hooks the whole time. I would highly recommend 850 Charters for your trip and will certainly be a repeat customer.

We went out in the mid to end of October and the species we could keep were limited and the seas were rough but Captain Matt put us on a lot of fish and we walked away with a full cooler that fed 10 people with leftovers. Captain Matt worked very hard.
