Dockside water sports is great! Excellent customer service, and very conveniently located. It was a quick 10 minute boat ride to crab island, and this was the perfect way to spend the day on our bachelorette trip, everyone love it.Also, I LOVE that they have “Lilly Pad” floating pads available for rent! Renting one from them is a MUST if you plan on spending the day at Crab Island.

Customer service was great. They get you on the water as quick as possible. Great price! Our family loved it. Will definitely do this every year from now on!

We had such a great time on Crab Island thanks to Dockside Watersports. The whole process was smooth. We booked our Pontoon online via their website with no issues at all. We noticed our double decker Pontoon was newer than those around us on Crab Island. Customer service overall was great as well. We will use Dockside again next time!

I have rented from Dockside for about 10 years now. I have rented the pontoons, jet ski, and center console. I have never had any issues and have always been greeted with great customer service. They have great parking and an easy in and out of the harbor area that can get really congested. They have a great staff and help with everything. I would highly recommend renting from Dockside.

Other than waiting in the hot sun until it was time to get on the boat, it was great. They were short handed but did an awesome job of informing us of the dos and donts. They even helped us with our trash when we returned the boat. Love it! ❤️

The staff was all great. From check in at the desk, to going over the map, helping on and off the boat. They were all super friendly, and the only reason I am willing to still give 5 stars.I spent a little extra to get the 90hp boat. None of the gauges worked, and the trim did not work either. The boat got us around where we wanted to go, but I was not renting a boat to just go anchor on crab island the entire day, I wanted to move around some. I could deal with the gauges not working, but I feel like when we pay that much to rent the boats that things should be in working order. The trim not working was the worst part. I cant say enough good about the staff and will probably be back just for that reason. Hopefully the boat is in better shape next time.

We are locals and rented based on reviews. Mistake! VERY Poorly maintained boats. Both my husband and I cut ourselves on the only ladder which was fully of algae and extremely slippery with almost no handles to get out of the water with. Check out the boat BEFOR you rent!! Will not rent here again.

Staff was great. Especially the lady checking us in. She got my kids excited for all the animals and birds we would get to see. Great boat, great time, and will use them again when back in the area.

We rented wave runners from Dockside and was a little disappointed. The area they show you is small, especially since they required a 4 hour minimum. The wave runners were pretty beat up, they did work fairly well. They govern these machines for some reason. They only went 33 MPH. The two companies that do not limit the top speed are booked in advance. If you are gonna rent wave runners, go to another place unless price is your determining factor.

Me and my family of 11 had a wonderful time for our 8 hours on the boat!! The only issue was our tilt was broke and that was definitely a problem but other than that all was good! And Evan was the man!!! Definitely wish we could of took him back home with us he energy and vibe was awesome and everyone was super nice!!

Dockside Watersports is awesome! My family reserved and paid for a boat rental online before going to Destin. Once we arrived the workers only needed a few signatures before my family was able to head out to Crab Island. Mike (guy from Denham Springs, LA), the worker who gave us instructions, was really kind and brief. The boat interior was very comfortable. I would highly recommend Dockside Watersports!

We had a family of 8 and got the 90hp pontoon and it was perfect. If a faster one was available, we would have gotten that. But in all honesty with the littles on board the 90 was great! The guys got us on early, explained it all to us and we were on our way a few minutes early. Which is great since you have a long no wake zone to get thru. However, we returned early as well! There was no further extra charges when we got back - we unloaded and left! It was the perfect trip for us. Go use Dockside!

We had a great time this past weekend. We booked online for the pontoon. When we arrived, the staff was nice and educated us on how to operate the boat. We went out to crab island and our family really enjoyed. For families, I would definitely advise an early boat ride if you’re going to crab island. It starts to get crowded after about noon. Morning is perfect.

Dockside Watersports is a great place to rent a boat for the afternoon. Being from out of state, they were extremely helpful to help us understand the waterways and stay safe. If we come back to Destin we will definitely come back here. Their prices are very competitive, and they have a good selection of watercraft. So my first time in Destin, Florida and we went to Dockside for our PLANTOON BOAT and we absolutely 💯 love the boat, the crew was funny and informative! SEAN was super cool and helpful. Great staff and a nice boat. The boat had a few dangerous issues the staff failed to warn us about that resulted in my father smashing his finger in a broken sharp part of the boat. Also, the well cover kept falling off due to being broken, resulting in it falling on my niece. Nice experience just check the boat really well before departure.

The funest part of our vacation!

We looked around for a pontoon at different companies and they where the 3rd ones that could accommodate our time schedule. Threre price was about $20 more but when I seen there competition equipment I was glad we chose them, looked to be better equipment.Staff was extremely nice perfesional and informative about where to go to see dolphins and different places to dock and swim.Will definitely use again on our next visit.Good job Dockside.

Took a family boat trip into the bay. The dockside crew was helpful and informative. We arrived, hopped on a pontoon, and we were on our way. Great way to spend an afternoon.

We had an amazing time at the lake and the Jetskis are brand new and awesome. The staffs are really helpful from Ruben to DD and everyone there. Even the folks at the Restaurant next door is really nice. We are definitely coming back soon. As soon as there are Jetski or boats available.

Booked a 12 seater pontoon about a week before we got to Destin. I booked bc their online booking process was superrrrr easy compared to other places. I hate having to call to book something. The check-in process was super easy, didn’t take long. The boat was also in great shape! Definitely going to rent from Dockside again when we come back to Destin!

Incredible service and a pretty straightforward rental (for jet skis at least).

Nothing but a great entertainment service. My experience was good. Easy access location. They have a ramp down to the docks for heavy coolers or large loads and a hut for filling out paperwork.

Dockside did a wonderful job of helping us rent a boat. Reserving a boat was easy as was their instruction for how to drive it (none of us had experience driving a boat before). They also did a great job showing us areas to go and giving us basic rules of the waterway. Their rates are reasonable and I would recommend them. If you can, book your boat in advance to make sure you get the day and time you want.

After googling and reading reviews for pontoon boat rentals I chose this place and am glad I did. We rented the 21 foot pontoon with a 90hp for a family of 4. It went fast and we had no problems with our boat, #8. The check in and waivers were a breeze. We had originally scheduled a 4 hour rental but soon realized the kids would want to stay out all day at Crab Island. Called and they had no problem upgrading us to a full days rental since school is back in sessions and they werent booked up. This will be the place I rent from next time we are in town. The pontoon was in good condition the double slides were a blast.Suggestion would be a loyalty program that offers discounts for each rental.

We had an amazing day renting a pontoon for 8 hours. It was very easy and affordable. The kids loved the inflatables, fishing from the pontoon, and the beaches. We would do this again and recommend highly!

We just got married and came here on our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a better crew! My wife, I and my friends had an amazing time. The only issue was we rented the pontoon for 4hr but only used 1 1/2hr. Considering how much time we didnt use. They charged an extra $190 for being for bringing the boat back 15mins late after the worker that gave us the boat said it was ok.

Very Very Professional in every sense of the word. Reservations for our party of 12 for a pontoon boat were handled with ease.... and the communications never stopped coming for reminders. There was a weather system that had Destin practically shut down, but all through that time, we were kept informed. Thankfully, the storms subsided and we were able to keep our reservation (they did not permit any boats to leave during the inclement weather) and able to catch the fireworks show over the harbor. The staff was excellent, the boat immaculate............. hey... WE HAD A GREAT TIME. I would HIGHLY recommend these folks.
