This store has been my worst experience ever. So they claimed they changed my oil on the 20th. The also advised that I purchase the Lucas engine cleaner. My truck is a 22Cascadia. I thought I was doing the right thing for my truck. My truck went from 8mpg to 6mpg. Lost power. 16klbs load couldnt even pull at 55mph going up any hill.on the 25th took it to dealer in MT. Delear states they didnt even change the oil and used the wrong filters. I will never again in my life stop by a Loves for any repairs only if its an emergency and they are the only ones around. In my experience they are trash and likewise the on in Hutchins TX. I will not recommend to my worst enemy. If you have to go make sure you are standing there when they work on truck but they will claim safety reasons as an excuse for them to not do the work and charge you for it.

Fastest speedco. In and out in 45 minutes. Troy is great guy 👍 gave me cold drink while I wait appreciated. I will use this location in the future

They wasted my time only to say they didnt have the parts I need to do an oil change. The manager all the way down were full of excuses. Loves shops have been useless in my opinion likewise the loves in Hutchins on 45 is so useless its beyond words.

The whole shop floor no matter where you stepped the floor was very oily a slick whole shop and tool carts where filthy workers had no idea that they should read the job order so they could perform the correct job using the correct oil asked if they changed the fuel filter in the glass dome was told yes but filter housing fuel level was at the level when they started the pm will never again use speedco or recommend it to anyone the manager was joke speedco is worst then a t/a

I see quite a few bad comments on here, but I cant say I had the same experience. I appreciate the service given at this location. You have a permanent customer! Special thanks to Nelson and Zahid. They took care of me from start to finish! Thanks. Drivers, treat these workers like you want to be treated and you might have great things to say as well. Instead of bashing people every chance you get.

Friday July 30th 2021 their systems were down. Will only take accounts because they cannot process payments and somehow no other option for payments will not be accepted. Refused cash payment because they do not know the estimate for an oil change? Came back Saturday, waited 3 hours after they checked me in for an PM. Was in the bay, for another 30 mins. Then was told they do not have the oil filters at all. It was 1745pm on a Saturday July 31 2021. They suggested I go to the shop across the street.This place clearly lacks downtime procedures and common sense. They can’t remember what an oil change runs, even though that is all they do!? They check you in and make you wait 3 plus hours just to be told, we don’t have filters and go across the street when it is nearly closing time? Who ever is their manager needs to be fired. The way they are handling their customers, where every minute for us counts, they waste your time.

In my opinion Speedo service has steadily declined since Loves took over. Now its the worst I have ever experienced as a professional driver. The occurence is too long to express here.However, I will no longer use Loves/Speedco unless there is no other choice.

Be careful of this Speedco They will rip you off,unprofessional,rude and lie about the service they provided to you make sure you check your self about everything they say they did because that’s what happened to me today and I found out that they didn’t. No Grease not checked boxes and they chaged me. I told them that I am not going to pay for service they didn’t do and lied about waisted my time.. It will be the last time I go any Speedco any where..Be safe

This place is such a joke . They have 15 people walking around and only one bay open. Sit in line for 30 minutes and they finally come out and tell you they are going to shut down the bay you are sitting in. I will never be back

The guys who work in this speedco have very little experience. They do PM (oil change)on my truck but my truck stops to start right after they change itIt took about an hour to start on.the guy from Asia has no knowledge about it.He told me to start on the engine before he puts the filters.And I saw him to put in while I try to start the motor.when I ask him ,why you tell me to do that before you put the filters, he replied its all the same.i was heading to,CA.while I get stopped 10 miles and shut off the engine ,and I have tried again to start on, never start .i have used the starter fluid to start the truck.I came to ,CA and right after I delivered the load I took my truck to garage.they charged me about $1200 .This all because of this shut workers of the speedco .

Techs are useless, put wrong fuel filter on vehicle then double down and said filter was interchangeable.

Tommy and his techs were excellent! They got me in right away and did the service as requested and it was done very through! Stop in and see Tommy, he will make sure your truck is ready to stay on the road!

Didnt get to try out their service I ran short of time how ever the truck wash next door was great I was in and out quickly and my truck was nice and clean !

Just want to point out that they need more mechanics.. Like 8 people work here and you only have 1 mechanic that calls out often..Whats more, a PM A service is also known as a “maintenance check-out” or “safety inspection” and generally consists of a safety check and lubrication as well as checks of key components such as brakes, lights, tire condition and inflation, and fluids. It also includes checking and adjusting high-wear components... I feel they didnt lubricate anything nor add windshield wiper fluid. Not sure what they did but a PM wasnt it and they put the mud flap on backwards so now its just constantly rubbing up against my tire!! I sure hope that visit was free!

The food is amazing and the owners are welcoming they always have a smile on their face and they always make sure that the employee staff to treat you like a person it was truly a wonderful experience this is coming from a long-haul truck driver for 38 years the dines out 80% of my life I rate this a thousand stars if I could all I can say the owners and the staff are truly salt of the earth people and for all you people that are reading this should be able to relate to that meaning because in todays day and age that is so hard to find anymore I would like to say one more thing you know this covid virus its been so hard on restaurants go by show your support I guarantee you will not be disappointed and if they ask you how you heard about this place you tell him you heard it from a truck driver cheers

On 9/10 I waited for an hour before they decided to tell me they had nobody to do a D.O.T. inspection. On 9/11 I returned and the 2 techs that were on duty decided they were not going to work. It was 7p.m. when I arrived and they were both in a brown Monte Carlo parked out front. I figured maybe it was shift change or their lunch time. Finally at 8p.m. I approached them and they said they are pretty much closed even though they close at midnight. All the doors to the bays were closed and lights inside were all on.I dont know why I returned a 3rd time but I did on 9/13 only to wait an hour to get in the bay and over 3 more hours in the bay. After looking at other reviews, its and 3 visits here, it is apparent nobody cares nor wants to work. I remember Speedco was not like this before it was bought by the Loves. A shame is an understatement!!!

Came in for a airline sit 2 hrs for no reason wasn’t even busy. Will not use this place again

I went in because my trailer breaks wouldnt work to slide my tandems...and they were on it right away...and also allowed me to take my break on their property...top notch work.

Took forever to get service. They were very sloppy and messy i couldnt tell if i had stuff leaking or what was going on when they got done they had such a mess

They did a horrible job. Wasted oil all on my the side of the motor and WORST of all, they charged and tried to deceive me of a service they never performed. Had I been someone who didnt ACTUALLY know what to look for, I would have to believe him when he told me that he did. Worst service ever. Cant be trusted to perform the complete job that was paid for. Its no wonder they dont want you to observe them working. Theyre NOT!

They werent able to help us with our warranty work on batteries we purchased from Loves but they were very helpful and friendly. They were very busy as well. We havent actually had any work done at this Speedco but after our short experience today Im sure I will use them in the future.

Worst place Ive ever been to! Went there for a d.o.t. inspection, I checked in and was told to park in front of Bay #3 and wait for a service tech to help me. I was the only truck there at 4pm on a Sat, I thought that was kind of odd, waited there a long time while watching the mechanics either sitting in their cars like they were on break and one was talking to his girlfriend that pulled up in a car. After waiting in my truck for 15 min in the 100+ degree heat the young looking 2nd shift manager finally came out and said he didnt know how to enter in the work order for a d.o.t. inspection and that no one else there knew how to either because the daytime manager had just left, so they couldnt do the inspection. Before that, while waiting I was reading the reviews of the place on Google and how bad the place was and how they try to get out of doing work, I wasnt surprised I had a bad feeling when I first drove up and saw no one in line. Wish I would have read the reviews first before coming.

They’re great when you actually can get work done but they’re always short staffed and inspector is never there.

STOP DISCRIMINATION 🛑❌The worst place to go . I wait in line more than 2 hours for oil change and when it’s my turn they come to me and told me they not do it the reason they want to closed early. There was 3 trucks ahead of me and all the drivers are white and they get the service when they come to me I am black and immigrant they don’t care at all.At least they have to tell me as soon as I get there that way I can go to somewhere else. I talk to the manager he don’t care what a Shame for speedco putting this kind of manager in charge .

Dont waste your time going there for an oil change 3-5 hours so sad this place went down so bad all they have is people that dont know what they are doing never have the filters cant evan grease your truck nothing never works and the wait time is so bad

Since I live in the Dallas area Ive visited the south Dallas location about 5 or 6 times, Im not joking when I say they are always the slowest of anywhere Ive ever been to for a service, and not because of a wait to get in, Im talking about once your inside, there is absolutely nothing speedy about it. Ive been to several SpeedCo locations and several truck stops like Petros and TAs, most SpeedCo locations will get you in and out in 30 to 45 minutes, an hour at most but Not South Dallas, 2 hours or more on average every time Ive been there, and never the same group twice. Today I had to walk down the street to Kenworth to get a new single use drain plug for my PACCAR engine because they were out and after watching 5 or 6 guys standing around for 20 minutes trying to decide what to do I said I would go get it myself. DEFINITELY my last time to visit this location.

Nice enough staff but the shop and the drive out front are slippery and covered in oil and grease. Not the speedco i dealt with before loves bought them out, the EPA Could have a field day here with all the oil and grease outside not to mention the law suit if some one slips and gets hurt from negligence.

Teach your techs how to grease a truck. Missed 9 on one side and 4 on the other. He has no idea they even existed. No clue how many were missed under the truck as I was not allowed to go in the pit and see. Pathetic. What do we even pay for

Three and a half hours wait and the fuel system primer is broken so they expect you to burn up your starter to prime your truck.

ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH CREDIT FOR THIS LOCATION. I WAS THE ONLY TRUCK WAITING(1 hr) FOR A OIL CHANGE AND THE SPEEDCO HAD FOUR EMPLOYEES WORKING. THEY LOOK AT ME AND PROCEED TO THEIR CARS; OPENING THE TRUCK TO PLAY LOUD MUSIC AND DID NOT CARE ABOUT ME WAITING AT ALL. TWO OTHER TRUCKS CAME AND LEFT SHORLTY AFTER THEY SEEN THE EMPLOYEES NOT HELPING ME. I WILL NEVER USE SPEEDCO AS LONG AS I AM DRIVING TRUCKS. I WILL TELL AS MANY TRUCK DRIVERS NEVER TO WASTE THEIR TIME BY STOPPING. I WILL PAY HIGHER SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE I DONT TRUST THEIR WORK ETHICS ON MY TRACTOR. I JUST LEFT AND WENT TO FLYING J CARE.

This place went down the drain when loves took over.. dishonest employees. went to do an inspection they said it would not pass because of brakes, brakes were a couple months old, when I told them that we went back and check they said they were going to pass it only this time.

Tom and Judy Love should be ashamed of themselves for what theyve done to the Speedcos around the country! The people working at them are inexperienced and incompetent. Its obvious that the only thing Loves cares about is money; they dont give a damn about the truckers.

Told no tire tec here hes on the rd. After an hour he returned. Told will be 10 min. After 20 minutes told will be another 20 minutes. Bet that turns out to be another hour.

I went here at 5:50 P. M. and the turn me away said they already had 2 trucks in the bay with only 2 people on duty that they would not be able to get me in today. Come back tomorrow he said.

The service is pretty slow. Took 45min to pay after my oil was complete. No one at the front and its just not managed well. There is no direction and no one knows what is going on. Its almost a comedy sitcom watching them.

Great place for oil changes. They always get me in and out very quickly. I do my full pm’s and grease jobs in between the pm’s at this location. Tommy and the whole speedco crew always treat me good.

You people REALLY need to take a good look at the Dallas location Speedco. Not even close to being up to par with some of the other locations. Nobody had any interest at first, they turned their backs and disappeared with all bays free until I pulled up to one and started to get out. Only one person knew what to do or how to do it. Had to make them take oil filter back off and fill it before installing. Just scary!!! I have videos I will be sending to corporate .

Stay away this place very unorganized they told to go bay 3 and there was only one truck in bay 4 the rest was empty after I waited almost 2 hours and some other trucks pulled front of the other bays I went inside to see what they doing and they were all standing playing around doing nothing so I left and took my business to TA

Pulled in about 6 pm on Saturday afternoon, all bays were empty but took 15 minutes for someone to open the door and guide me in and I asked for a PM with oil analysis and a dot inspection.1 1/2 hrs to get the PM done although 3 trucks that came in 30 minutes after I got there were serviced and finished before me then find out they didnt do the oil sample but still charged me for it and the man who does the inspection left without doing my truck but did 2 of the 3 that got there after me.Used to be good service at this location but not anymore, so if you want good service work done on your truck find another place to go , had to go to the location in Irving to get the inspection done I will try there next time .

Professional,adressed the issue, conversation is to the point, and honest about their work, pricing and timeliness. This is one of those places that one is asking for, in times of need. I came with a tires problem, I was informed about the tires, reason of uneven wearing, solution, pricing, and time needed for the work to be completed. It was as they said. This place is busy but the way it is run, and the quality of work done here, I dont think that I can find it accross the street with the competitors. Give them a try. Worst speedco Ive been to hands down, and it keeps getting worse! They will lie and make you wait then tell you theyre out of this or that or theyre short handed its always something after they make you wait!Ill never be back!

Fast and friendly service

I give 3 stars for the staff. They were all friendly and polite. The young lady was just as nice as could be. Why not more stars? WAY to much time waiting and getting oil changed done. I got there about 5:30pm and billed out at 9:30pm. I have tried using Speedco over the years and I always pay more for the oil change and services than anywhere else. To me if Im paying more I shouldnt be sitting and waiting as long as I was. Shop was not clean and was slippery. Would I go to this location again? No I wouldnt. Speedco is not competitive. Its a shame

Never will go to this location again in life. Stopped here for a pm service, 1st thing they couldnt get the fuel filter off. So you give it to the driver to change!!!!!! 😠 and after that they didnt put my oil filler cap back on, so now I have to buy another cap😡. Most definitely will bypass this location
