Good deal on tires, BUT came for new tires and left with a new project. Since their mechanic stripped 2 lug nuts on one of my wheels, they left me with a problem to figure out on my own. I recommend using a different Pepboys location.

My car was taken in to assess an air conditioning issue. They diagnosed the issue and my aunt (who took in the car) brought it back so I can save up to get this fixed, so they provide good work. The reason I’m leaving a 1 star review is because I was stolen from. My change cup was depleted by half and the only ones who touched my car were these guys here at Pep Boys. I come and ask for a service to be provided, I don’t ask to be robbed. I will not be trusting this place to fix my car, but I do hope that no one else has an experience like we did.

My car was falling apart. The entire under carriage was scraping the ground. Alan and Pedro helped me tremendously! I cannot thank them enough. They gave me insight as to how to order the correct part for future replacement. Had it not been for Alan and Pedro, the bottom of the car would have caused more damage to the underside of the car or completely fallen off while driving.This is the best Pep Boys, the staff is friendly and show the customer exactly what the auto problems are. I stopped in the day after July 4th when many places were closed and had a new battery bought, installed, and was on my way in 20 minutes. THe salesperson was nice, helpful, and quick. I will return to this Pep Boys for other things.

I received a TX State Inspection and one of my tires required replacement. Everything was done in a decently reasonable amount of time. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable during the process.

If you have a Pep boys prepaid service coupon and you want to use that there; think before you start meeting them.I had been there to have a service using my prepaid coupon and they got me a tour to the Mars!!!As if I committed a crime by asking for the service. They even denied to recognize the coupon.If “unfortunately” you meet the gentleman “Edwardo” there then you mast have a BAD day! Both him and his manager consider themselves the President of the US, asking any question twice is a punishable crime!! So don’t ask!Above all, it’s your decision your choice whether you have enough time to wait there or you are just too much “gentle” to tolerate that!

Pep boys got good service

The oil change was good. They said I needed one but they didnt tell me why oil is leaking. They werent able to diagnose my initial issue which was why my turn signals werent working because they had no electrical mechanic. But they did refer someone. Last time I visited though no one was in the store to help me, I had to find someone to ask for help

Had my car towed by Ignite (which is wonderful) to Pep Boys, on Ft. Worth Avenue, and I was impressed with the service. Luis did everything possible to make sure everything went smoothly. I opened up an account with them as I will be bringing my car back for other services. The only thing that I thought could use improvement would be to have another service man at the front and also someone at the cash register where I stood for awhile to buy a bottle of water which I finally put back.

Had a flat tire and they were able to repair it quickly. They could have charged me full price for the repair but they said it was not a bid deal and there was no-charge. Very honest and quick service. I will be back.

Horrible customer service from Randy, the manager! He had several customers waiting in line & didn’t acknowledge the customers while he was on the phone. I observed him hanging up the phone on incoming calls several times. Once he finished his call, he got upset because I told him I was the next one in line. First he claimed that he didn’t have my paperwork which was a lie bc I saw the mechanic drop it off.. Then , he told me to ‘ take my keys & go!’ Very insulting after his failure! The only reason I went there was To fulfill my contract for service like oil changes, etc.I won’t be going back & will let the dealership I purchased this contract that I need a refund for the remaining balance! Horrible, horrible service!!

Dusty in tires was truly helpful and I felt like he went above and beyond in explaining what was wrong with my tires and the most economical way to fix them. Reasonably priced, quality service. I recommend this location for tires specifically.

I have been using this location since 2009. When I moved here from another state they were the place I could trust with my cars. This past year their service has been terrible. I believe one of their main managers passed away in 2016 or earlier this year. Since he has been gone their customer service has gone down the drain. They have overcharged me for multiple things. And when I question the pricing they have magically found discounts. This past and the last time I’ve come to this location I believe they made a mistake did something to my air condition. They told me based on the previous repair it was impossible that they caused the issue with my air conditioner. I had no issues with my air conditioner before bringing them my car for an unrelated issue. They said they could check it out for me after I paid them an additional $75.I have gone to a pep boys in Chicago and they accidentally cracked my windshield. And when I called them, they said they would check out the cameras, They did not immediately deny that they didn’t do anything. And after they checked the cameras they realize that they did do it. And it was an accident. And it was OK because they fixed it. That is customer service. And that is why I have been coming to Pep Boys for so long. But I will never return to this location again. They wouldn’t even check the cameras to see if the mistake had been made. I have been coming to this location for eight years. And it seems every time I go in there there are new workers. Their head office needs to clean up this shop because there are too many other maintenance shops in this area to be treated as if they are the only one.

This location is THE BEST in the DFW area! Randy, the service manager, knows how to take care of his customers to where they come back every time! I WILL NOT go to any other location. They will always have my service!

Employees cancelled my appointment on two different occasions. The second time the manager allowed someone else to take my appointment.

My car had a flat tire. Alfonso was able to find the screw that caused the leak and he patched the tire up quickly! I wasnt charged a dime and was in-and-out within 30 min. Alfonso is a life saver! I will definitely return to this Pep Boys location for future auto repairs.

I have two older cars and this location has been great! I recommend! I normally like to support smaller businesses, but the last mechanic had installed the wrong sensor (costing unnecessary time and money) and another wanted to replace the A/C system for $700+ because they couldnt find the leak. I like the option to buy tires and a rental car service located in the store!

Took 2 1/2 hours to do an oil change and inspection by appointment. That seems too long, although friendly staff.

Victor fixed my car when Fred couldnt .and Alan the service adviser was great . Casey the store manager went out of his way to help me and my family. Great store big turn around from the previous manager. Love this store is so clean..thank you

I just left this place and the guy there was so fast and accommodating. I had a nail in my tire and he literally dixes it within 10 minutes. Great customer service. I would definitely recommend. And they are open on Sundays.

Went for an oil change. It took them an hour, but there was an issue with a part. They replaced the part after I told them my last oil change was with them and then when it was finished they didnt charge me anything for the oil change. Really appreciate customer service like that, its hard to find even if they were the ones who messed something up. I will definitely go back, theyve been nice every time.

Terrible service. Battery says 36 month free replacement. That is a LIE!!! They are prorated so be prepared to PAY EXTRA for your FREE replacement. Make sure to look at the purchase date on the screen. They will tell you it is out of warranty when it is not. If there was a no star button that is what they deserve. All lies from this place.

My first visit to pep boys on Fort Worth Avenue I was quoted 125.00 to replace fuel filter. I returned later the same day to get it done and was told it would cost over 400.00 so I left. I was a loyal customer at this location until Steve was no longer working there. I took my business to another company now since service at Pep Boys has declined.

Alfonso and his team went far beyond customer service to assist with replacing my headlamp. This is the 2nd time that this crew has help my family with service. I really appreciate their service and will continue to make automotive purchases here.

Went in for a check engine light in the afternoon and was told that if I came the next morning at open, they would be able to work on it. I showed up the next morning and was told they didnt have a mechanic on Thursdays and could not service my car. Really?!, what kind of service department cant handle a check engine light! The guy hardly looked up from his computer and obviously didnt care a bit. This was especially annoying b/c I was leaving town and had really assumed that the employees of the service department knew on what days they could service a car. Complete garbage! Will never go back!

Phenomenal service. Great price. Took my 2015 corvette for new tires and they were very careful and allowed me to make sure the car was lifted right , etc. Definitely will be coming back.

Dont take your car here for repair unless youre wanting to be charged for services they never performed. I went to have my tires rotated and unless they have this amazing new tool that takes off the tire without removing the wheel caps first, I would have to believe they didnt rotate my tires. The next day I remembered that I would have to put zip ties back on the hubcaps as they had a tendency of coming off, but there was no need to do this since it seems they were still on there. No, they did not reattach new zip ties.... They just lied because its a under a fleet service contract and they figured it was easier just to bill the fleet company for service they didnt do since there was no one to really verify it. Shady and just downright crooked thieves!

This might be the worst Pepboys in the DFW. I had never been let down by other Pepboys locations but this one is an exception. I’ve been to this location a few times and have been turned away. Finally, the last time I was told I should make an appointment. Then, I made an appointment for another day, waited for over 10 minutes without getting helped and then was turned away again. This time I was told I’m supposed to call to ensure I can get my car serviced. What’s the point of an appointment then? It is common courtesy that if an appointment can’t be honored, the customer should be notified to avoid the inconvenience.

The service was superb. The service rep, Jahaziel Ortiz provided me with outstanding customer service. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He turned a stressful day into one that ended well. This store has improved 100 per cent.

The budget car rental service there is bad. My car showed up over 4 hours late,missed important appointments, and lost money thanks to the minimal effort put in by the Pep Boys staff. Very bad service, the store is too busy to be distracted by this car service. Its not a good fit for this location.Just go with enterprise they are better and get your car ready on time at the reserved time.

I went in for tire rotation and balancing which were free under a warranty I purchased with new tires. While I was there I decided against my better judgement to go ahead and get an oil change. I was quoted a decent enough price and told there was an online coupon I could use for additional $20 dollars off. Ok, sounds good enough. Not!! Once it was time for me to check out the tech said the price was now about $50 more than what was originally quoted and no need for the online coupon as he had already applied the discount. Really?... He stated my car needed additional supplies as to why the price went up. Never once did he get my approval or even inform me of the extra services or cost. I did notice that the place was trying to improve their quality of service but please not at the customers expense.

Took my car to get aliainged twice and they just couldnt get it right. They kept saying it was other issues just to get me to spend more money when clearly is the alignment. Gone through a set of front tires in less then two months thankfully they were under warranty with them but my car still pulls hard and staring wheel is lined up properly.

They have cat repair service but they dont sell parts

Its been years and they refuse to restock the self service, by the foot, fuel line and hose booth. They should just remove it instead of continually disappointing their customers. Otherwise, its a good store with parts usually unavailable at other auto parts store.

Made an appointment online to get the oil changed for my car, website gave a 2 hour wait for the earliest available time, but when I got to the shop, they said it would be an additional 2-3 hour wait from appointment time.Staff suggests that for future appointments to make an appointment at least 1 day in advance and also call in to confirm the scheduled appointment.

Lousy the customer ahead of me they put his rims on backwards. I came on my lunch break they told me the bulb for my car would be $37 then I come back after work in this 100ﾟ weather and they are getting ready to put a $200 bulb in my car before even talking to me. Just so happened I got up and asked the guy was the $37 bulb going to work for my Hyundai Sonata. He told me it is supposed to work.

Came in today to get an oil change and check engine light checked. Jason and Fredrick were wonderful. I always receive wonderful customer service when i come here.

This time the customer service was pleasant, these were different people from my last visit. So they were very nice.

Never Ever get service done here... I went there had a bunch of stuff done, I got new tires, alignment, tuneup, and a few other tests done didnt almost $800 come to find out they left some lugnuts loose on my back tires a serious damage could have happened I could have wrecked and thus was said by another mechanic who tightened was was loose.... I do not recommend pep boys

They advertise free engine test but was told it would be $89.99 and had to wait for 2 hours. Took my car to OReillys and was taken care of right away and no charge. Will never go back to pep boys again.

I know very little about how cars work and thought Id take a chance to see if I could learn by asking Steve at Pep Boys about oil changes. He was so patient and informative that my anxiety went away. I was so scared that he might feel agitated and tell me to wait in waiting area but he was nothing like that. Steve told me so much about what oil that goes in the car, how to change it if i ever wanted to change it, showed me what the oil filter looked like, and he showed me the difference in what the oil that they drained out my car versus what the clean oil looked like. He told me about air pressure in tires and showed me where it was displayed on stickers on my car in case I forgot what size tire my car has, which is often. He showed me where it was on sticker what the air pressure should be too. Steve taught me so much information I didnt feel so ignorant anymore. Keelen, who did the actual oil change, he was fantastic too. He made me feel welcome and he showed no signs of being irritated by my presence. I definitely feel comfortable enough with them to trust Pep Boys to do even major work on my car. Thank you Steve and Keelen for really making me feel welcome to learn about oil changes, tire pressure, window tint, etc. I will always remember you, especially if I win the lottery.

They didnt seem like they wanted to be helpful. I had multiple employees pass by me as I was standing at counter to get my part and no one spoke to me.

Spoke with an associate over the phone to make an appointment. He scheduled my time and assured service for a simple oil change. Rushed straight from work. Got told it would be an hour and a half and they may not even get to my vehicle today. Now its late in the day (6pm) so Ill be lucky to find another place. I needed this service done today. The excuses were just that: total bullsh*t excuses.

I went to this particular location for a new tire and they turned me away saying I didnt have an appointment. It was like 12pm and they had hours before they closed. I was so upset. Id never come back. They never tried to set up and appointment, all if I could wait, tell me the wait time, nothing. If you want horrible customer service go check this joint out

Came in for squeaky brakes and I thought I meedne them changed, but I was wrong and they got me back on the road and saved me a lot of money. 100% recommend.

First time I took my car to this shop for an alignment, I scheduled an appointment. It took over 6hrs to complete the job. Second and last time will be today because I went back there for check up, dropped it off at 11am. Came back 4:30pm, I was told my car will be next. Almost 2hrs later, still waiting. I left without getting my car looked at not to even talk about fixed. Terrible customer service all the way!!!

On Wednesday morning i made an appointment online for a oil change once i made it there the boy told me that i didn’t have a appointment that when he comes in he prints his list at 8 and basically anybody that makes an appointment after doesn’t have one. I asked why are we allowed to make appointments if it isn’t going to show his response was it’s a glitch there still trying to fix told me to call up there next time. Today i called when they opened trying to make a appointment at 11 he tells me to go ahead and come in. I get here and there’s a 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait and i wasn’t even put down for a appointment. Unprofessional
