Eddie Vasquez is THE BEST Salesman EVER! He is a Great Asset to the Covington Ford Organization. I was in service for an oil change. Had no intention of purchasing a vehicle. I was just looking around the lot at different SUVS. Eddie came out and set down with me and talked. No pushy sales line, no pushy marketing strategy, no hidden agenda. We looked at a few different options, discussed my budget, and Eddie made it happen. I am more than pleased with Eddies professionalism and customer service.Eddie you are THE MAN.

One of the best dealerships in the area. I had a great experience purchasing a used Ford Mustang from them. Make it Happen Steve is a good no pressure salesman. If I could I would give it negative stars- got my car towed to facility, spoke to service, I told him exactly what is wrong with the vehicle and told him what I am paying for then. 340 back brakes and pad, 190 front brakes.. please tell me why I have over a 600 bill bc everything I told him what was wrong with the vehicle he put it as a diagnostic report. So basically I paid 100$ to tell you what i already knew what was wrong with my car and Im telling you only what parts to fix. and then when I p/u the car today- it shows oil change like it did when they received it, but its not in the diagnostic report- so did you really do a report or based off what I said you just wrote it down and charged me a 100$ for nothing. I would have much rather youll change my oil and do the brakes than charge me a 100 and only fix the brakes . My suggestion- dont service here.. period

Absolutely no help whatsoever on trip back to NC. Would not recommend them or their prejudice service department. Dont break down with semi new under warranty vehicle here.In response to the owner. I understand you may not see or know what happens in individual departments. My reference is to how I understand you have responsibilities to your customers. I dont dispute that, but dont keep me waiting for a diagnostic check your tech will not take less then 10 minutes to at least read me a code on a 80k truck with 4500 miles. When I made it to another dealership the technician was kind enough to allow me and service manager wait to see how long it took to read code. Took longer to get computer hooked up. I get it everyone is tired and tense about everything. But I had my family with me and just the thought of breaking down with a brand new truck during these trying times...well your team could have done better. They sure did for the NON MINORITY CLIENTS.

Brought a 2016 Transit connect up here, asked them to take a look at the Transmission, do an oil change, the airbag light was on (ask them to fix as well), and take a look at the front end because it was making a popping noise. My vehicle sat up there over a month and not one thing on that list was done. Every week Id call and they would say the transmission guy comes on Monday and Tues it will be next week. I was told this for 4 weeks in a row. Finally by the 4th week I ask did the oil change or anything else get fixed or get taken care of, Oh do you want us to started on that.The truck basically sat up there and they couldnt even do the oil Change a rookie could do in a month.You better have 2 cars before you take a car up here its gonna be there for awhile.I wouldnt have minded too bad on the wait but please dont keep telling me next week if its going to be a month and a half before you can even look at it. I really wanted to do service from here because we have purchased vehicles in the past and had a great experience buying from here.Ended up driving to Courtesy Ford in Conyers they promptly got right on it.

Best dealerships I ever dealt with. I made an appointment to get a recall taken care of. I got there at my appointment time to get an airbag changed and 40 minutes later they where done. Just needed a water pump and serp belt on a Transit Connect, never had a leak anywhere til they pressure tested it, I guess with 200 PSI because they blew the never leaking thermostat coolant housing. Tried to tell me they could see residue and it must have been leaking before... THEN WHY PRESSURE TEST IT ?!?!?! Must have just been a gasket because a $5 bottle of stop leak fixed it. I know its slow, but, try to make me upgrade then, dont lie.

Got to the lot and went straight to the vehicle I was looking at. An employee was walking by about to do something else and notice me and dropped everything he was doing to assist. Marshal is his name and a truly fantastic person and salesman. We purchased a 2013 Ford Explorer with Marshal and he was able to throw in 4 new tires and an oil change at no extra charge. I wasnt able to take the vehicle home that day due to the recalls, tires and oil change that needed to be done. When I called a couple of days later to check in I was able to get someone on the phone each time and was able to tell me what I needed to know. The experience I had at this dealership was like any other and I should know cause in the past 6 years I have purchased 5 vehicles.

If I could rate their service department a 10 I would. Great office staff and very talented mechanics. Looked at and diagnosed the problem with my F-150 in about 20 minutes after arriving. Ordered part in overnight and i was on the road home by 10am the next day. Another Ford dealer wanted me to leave my truck and they would look at it in 2-3 days!

They are more than happy to sell you a car but when it needs servicing, expect to pull out the wallet and wait weeks to get an appointment. Need to speak to a tech just to see if theres something you can look at yourself? Forget it. Apparently that tech isnt working. Just beware that no matter what service you need, its going to require a checkbook. Instead of good customer service, they give you a girl with a chip on her shoulder.A quick, This is what weve seen occur.... but might not be the issue answer would have been sufficient.I cant think of any other company that wouldnt have a moment of time to talk about their product issues.

We purchased 1 used, 1 new and 1 buy back.I fully trust Chad as he guides me in the right direction when I tell him the things I want in a vehicle and really appreciate his honesty about buying cars.I did a spreadsheet to finalize my decision and came to the same choice that Chad suggested from my pros and cons just from his experience and listening to what I wanted.This last car I purchased was a buy back and I am super happy with my purchase. Only giving a one because the salesman was at least nice. Went to look at a really nice 34,000 mile, $50000 used raptor. Took me an hour and a half to get there only to find out the truck had an exhaust leak so bad the truck would hardly idol, the belts were squeaking like crazy and it was a by back lemon truck that Ford had supposedly fixed. Then was told they could only come off the price $500 😂. Im assuming they didnt think I could afford it anyway because I was just kind of treated like I was wasting their time. If you sell used vehicles, you should probably know a little about them, especially for that price

Wow (2018 transit with 30,000 miles and third time here since bought ) was told by Robbie in service department that they could not get to my work van till next week the two ladies in service department confirmed they were booked up and could not get to me for a week brought it back well because it’s brand new haven’t had it a few months got tow truck to pick it up and take to my personal mechanic they would not release van due to a diagnosis bill but you just told me you could not get to it for a week and tow truck driver confirmed it’s sitting in parking lot outside gate where I left it if service department didn’t change my mind about ford and I say ford because same problems in Gwinnett and I have a vehicle brand new that constantly is in shop I will definitely be in a CHEVROLET soon!!! My bad for going cheaper

Bought a barely used car from them. The sales folks were ok, except the A/C on the car needed repair. Left it there for a week. I just happened to ride by a week after I purchased it and it was still parked where I left it. I called my sales guy and he said, its not finished yet. I told him I just rode by and they havent even started!! I picked up the car that day and will take it to another dealership. Wont go back. Removed dealership sticker from the back as soon as I got home, I wont be a rolling billboard for them either.Important!: After my problem came to the attention to the owner and vice president, I was contacted immediately. My car was picked up, repaired and delivered back to my home within 24 hours. Kudos to Covington Ford for the quick resolution to my issue. I was so satisfied I sent my truck over for a repair it needs. Needless to say, I changed my rating to 5 Stars! Anybody can make a mistake, but these folks addressed it quickly and to my satisfaction. They earned my 5 Star rating!!!

Drove 170 miles to buy a 52,900.00 2018 f350 lariat. Get here unexpected and truck has recalls not yet fixed. Only had 1 key. I reckon i had too high expectaions of this dealership. Over $50,000.00 and you cant get but 1 keyCant get them to wave anything but taxes and their fees. Iv learned my lesson with covington ford.Cant say that you wont get a good deal. But iwont be back

I’m the owner of the truck that Chelsea Hodge towed in. I disagree with her. Yes my tire came off and damage was done to my truck. Covington Ford has been excellent on fixing it. They made it priority in the shop. They are even got a truck for me to use while mine in being repaired. Wes is keeping me updated on what’s going on with my truck. I know accidents happen and this was a accident. It shows we’re all human and not machines. I’m not mad or upset with Covington Ford. I knew when this happened that they would fix it back like it was or even better. I look at life where things happen for a reason. What is the reason this happened I’ll never know. I’ve could have gotten in a accident and hurt someone or been hurt myself. Main thing is that nobody was hurt. My truck was the only thing damaged and the Covington Ford is doing a GREAT job on fixing it.

I would not recommend ever purchasing from this dealer. It seems that the specialize in selling lemon buy-backs, which they will admit in response to reviews. They told me right at the last second before purchasing that the car was a buy-back with a laundry list of problems. This means the car had so many issues the original buyer sold it back to ford.As a seller of lemon buy-backs, they should advertise their cars up-front as lemons like most Ford dealerships do. I called several dealerships and they all said be weary of buy backs and that if the salesman didn’t disclose that upfront, be very careful.This place truly gives a bad name to car dealerships. As a dealer that focuses on buy-backs, salesmen should be well aware and honest up-front of the car condition. I negotiated through phone calls for two weeks, went to drive the car, drove TWO of them, and then right as the paperwork was going to get started he slipped in a quick line about the buy back. Then I questioned the buyback because this was a huge red flag and I was in disbelief. The paperwork on the buyback details was “lost”, but when I demanded the file is mysteriously was able to print off of the computer. My salesman was Marshall. The sales manager was polite with my complaint which was expected. I appreciate his sincerity but after reading similar reviews, it is clear that this is a problem that needs to be addressed. Sadly, this tactic may just be part of their attempt to cash in on unexpected buyers, but that isn’t for certain.He didn’t necessarily lie but certainly was not honest, and it is hard to trust a dealer who will let their salesman conduct business that way, whether or not it be an honest mistake. It is concerning how many others probably buy these lemon cars unaware of the actual issues present.It is market standard and ethical to disclose this off the top to not waste peoples time. A classic example of bait and switch sales tactics. Extremely disappointed in their unprofessional ethics. These salesman assume the people don’t know cars who are buying them and try to slide things by them.Please be careful when purchasing here!RESPONSE TO BELOW:If it is not a sales tactic, then you should correctly advertise them online and on the lot. Most dealers advertise this online and on the sticker. That would really help avoid confusion and help people avoid coming to look at cars they are not interested in. I bet you won’t.

We live 3 hours away from Covington and saw this car online. This dealership sells manufacturer buyback cars. We had never purchased a manufacturer buyback car before so this was a new experience for us. By law the dealership has to tell you why the car was a manufacturer buyback (what the issue was and what was done to correct it) and they have to provide you with an additional 12,000 mile warranty. Our salesperson was Steve Vining – love Steve!The car we purchased was a white platinum metallic tri-coat 2018 Ford Edge Titanium and we had been looking for this exact car, it had everything on it that we wanted, for two months. Given that this was a manufacturer buyback car and we had never done that before, I looked up the ramifications when purchasing this type of car. Now, when purchasing a manufacturer buyback car, be aware that you must consider the reason for the buyback and also look over every inch of the car. The car we purchased had two areas where damage had occurred and the dealership (or the auction house) had obviously patched the places with some white material. One area of damage was on one of the doors and it was small but significant because it was down to the primer, so we negotiated with Covington Ford, over a couple of days, for a slightly lower price so we could pay to repair the door. The damage to the front left bumper area was minor and barely noticeable. The passenger side window also had scratches on the tint that you can see when the light hits it a certain way. Everything else looked good though. We got it home and had the oil changed and the tires rotated and we are thoroughly enjoying it.Let me say that we have purchased several cars over the years so we know how it is done. From our experience, Covington Ford does the minimum for customers who are buying one of their cars. Dealerships we have dealt with in the past wash the car and clean up the inside (Covington washed this car and wiped down the interior but the front seats and the steering wheel were very dirty) and other dealerships fill up the gas tank. Do not expect this at Covington. We also had to bring a cashier’s check for the down payment because they would not accept our personal check even though they called our bank to verify that the funds were there and the bank verified that the funds were there. This is a common business practice and we have never had a dealership not accept our personal check. We have even purchased a car in Lake City Florida and they accepted our personal check. Anyway, not a huge deal, we just got a cashier’s check instead but it was different from our other car buying experiences.Would we buy from Covington Ford again? I can say that we would buy from Steve Vining again for sure, wherever he is. We really enjoyed getting to know Steve and we would encourage you to contact Steve if you are planning to buy a car from Covington Ford. That being said, when we left Covington Ford and headed to the gas station to fill up the car we just bought, we did not feel great about how long it took to come to an agreement over the price due to the repair that needed to be made to the door (my body shop estimated $781) and the fact that we had to make two trips (almost three – another story) to complete the sale. Not a great feeling, so I took their name off the car as soon as we got it home.

Poor customer service. After scheduling an appointment in advance, we brought in our vehicle on the scheduled day. We heard nothing from the dealership once we left it. When we returned to pick it up at days end, we were told that they prioritized others and did not get to our repairs. Will not return to this location. Instead, we recommend the nearby Conyers Ford location, where we took our vehicle and received excellent service.

Purchased a used Toyota Rav4 for my daughter a few weeks ago and spoke to Fred Dixon to test drive the car. Fred was excellent to work with and trustworthy. The whole buying experience was seamless and efficient. After the car was checked out by a mechanic, I was out of there in less than an hour. I had visited previous car dealers in the past, and this was by far the best customer service and person I have worked with, and it was good to learn he is a fellow Christian. There wasnt any back and forth conversation with, I have to talk to the manager. We came to a mutual agreement quickly and there were only 4 or 5 documents to sign which included the title and bill of sale. I would highly recommend asking for Fred the next time you are looking for a car purchase.

Ever since we bought our fiesta st. Been a damn nightmare trying to get little things taken care of. As soon as we bought the car, it needed an oil change and the AC didn’t work, and there were no fog light bulbs. They changed the oil and the ac compressor and told me to come pick up the car after having the car for nearly two weeks. When picking up the car, they informed me that they were waiting on fog light bulbs and told me to bring the car back in two-three days. Arrived back at the dealership to (what I assumed to be really quick) get the bulbs put in, and they told me I would have to leave it with them again, and wouldn’t give another loaner because it’s “just fog light bulbs”. Asked if I could just take them and put them in myself. NOPE!! That would be too easy now wouldn’t it.. will never take the car back there and wish I had never bought the car from there in the first place.

This was an absolute pleasant buying experience. Kenny Morgan was not only a great sales person but i feel like he became a friend. General manager Matt was easy to deal with and got us the deal we needed. The finance guy Dedrick worked hard to get us the rate we wanted even at 8 at night. The whole staff stayed late to get us in a truck and was happy to do it. Our next vehicle will come from covington ford and we will recommend our family and friends use them.

Bought my first truck from Mr. Crowe.After a few question and answers and looking through the literature, I exclaimed thats a pretty truck A few days later I received a call and was asked to come look at a truck to see if it interested me.Mr. Crowe found the truck we discussed, had it shipped in, and I bought it!So far I have purchased a F-150, F-250 and F-350.I have them service my Company truck and personal vehicles.With all the traveling I do in my company vehicle, my wife insist on Covington Ford Service, the best! She wants me to have safe transportation travelling the southeastern states and trust them to keep me safe.

BAIT AND SWITCH KINGS!!!!! I called on late Friday afternoon about a truck on thier website. Salemans confirms its still for sale, I told him I would be there Saturday morning. Called Saturday morning, truck still there and for sale. I drove 1 HOUR from my house to arrive at 9am, test drove truck and loved it. Filled out application and signed it. 15 minutes later the saleman came back and said the manager said it sold the day before. IF ITS SOLD, HOW IS IT STILL ON THE LOT AND I AM TEST DRIVING. Basically the truck was listed way below value to just get people in the door. IT IS STILL LISTED ON THE WEBSITE!!!!!!! Will be contacting the BBB on Monday morning about dishonest dealership.

Terrible service, took my car up there late last summer to get the AC fixed 3 times. It worked until it started getting warm out again this year. Take it up there again and they want to charge me $300+ to to fix the same problem because its a different part. So I asked to talk to a manager and conveniently hes on vacation and is going to call me back when he comes in on Thursday. Two weeks later in still waiting on his call. Needless to say I will try my hardest not to bring my car here again.
