This was by far the worst and most unprofessional experience. I booked them and had to wait two weeks to be serviced. The guy came and did the consultation and seemed very nice and helpful. He let me know that someone would come and handle my concerns. While out of town, someone came and did nothing that I asked for. When I called Kate, she kept trying to tell me they did what I asked for. Basically I paid over $100 for them to spray bug spray everywhere. They did not let traps in my basement nor inspects for wildlife issues. It was a terrible experience getting in touch with them. Still waiting to hear if I will get a refund. I would not recommend them to anyone. I would honestly give them less than a 1

I contacted Terminix with concerns about a roach infestation. An appointment was set for Tuesday between 8 and 10. David Anthony, the service technician, was punctual and professional. He carefully explained the process and what to expect. Its been a few days and so far everything is panning out as he explained. Sightings have been greatly decreased and are diminishing. I am confident the results will be worth the cost (which was very reasonable).Update: It’s been about a month since the initial treatment. Over the weeks, I had seen on average a few roaches per day. I have bait traps along with glue traps. It has been nearly a week since I saw my last roach. It seems that the treatment has been successful and that the bait traps have killed off the nests. I am one very happy customer!

The inspection and start of treatment was easy and informative. I wasnt able to use my coupon from the mail for $50 off the treatment. Pricing in communications sent to my email did not match what the inspection technician had shown me, which was confusing, but I was only charged what the inspection technician had displayed.

Stephanie Sherrick was on time, well organized, well informed, and very pleasant! She waited patiently while I asked questions, and had very helpful insights. She was able to spray in some tight spots around my house, which is great, because those dark corners are what I worry about most: bugs just growing and dwelling back in those corners. Then she did an awesome job treating the outside of my house. Super excellent job, I really appreciate her wisdom and expertise!!

I’ve been a Terminix pest control client for many years. Have had consistency with my technician (very low turnover), and had successful pest control for many years. I recently hired Terminix insulation services (didn’t even know they did insulation!), the sales guy was trustworthy, and the crew who came onsite were pleasant, professional, and hard working. They also took very good care of our property.

The service in March 2021 and again in May 2021 were unsatisfactory. Company would not refund $129 for May service even though this is directly off their website - “100% satisfaction or your money back: If you’re not happy with results any time within the first 30 days after treatment, we will fix the problem or refund your payment and cancel your pest control plan.”I requested Terminix to send someone else out in March to fix the problem, which they did. Then after the May service the call center employee said I should speak with the local Branch before rescheduling. That was in May (I called multiple times in June) just received call on July 29th which only occurred because I called again.I have cancelled service and would not recommend this company.

They say they offer free services in between your services but they refused to schedule us until I said I wanted to cancel then they schedule us a technician was supposed to show up the 13 of April no one showed up, no one called. The service to begin with never worked they spent 5 minutes in the house then left rude it took me calling 10 times in a months period for them tp actually cancel my service because for some reason they refused to cancel it worst company I’ve ever hired for any kind of work. DO NOT WASTE MONEY!!!

Contacted Terminix via the website at 7 pm and within an hour they called me to review pricing and schedule service. Technician was scheduled for the next day and arrived right on time. Their team clearly communicated with me throughout the entire process. Technician listened to my concerns and implemented a plan to address those issues. All around great service - start to finish!

Nothing good at all to say about this company. They do not return phone calls they will try to get away with not doing all agreed to work. Then they will pencil whip your inspections. When you try to call the local office it will bounce you to the corporate office then they will send an email for someone to call you back which never happens. You give it 2 days and do it all over again. If you are in central Ohio and need pest control call any one else but do not call Terminix.

I have been a customer for approx. a year with the Columbus Oh branch. On 1-24 I received a text alerting that a service visit would happen in two days. I replied with a request to skip this quarter as things are tight right now with all that is going on. Two days later while at work I received notification that the tech was at the house completing service. I immediately called and he did not answer. A few minutes later he returned the call and when asked why he was there after I had replied to skip service two days earlier. He stated that it wasnt taken off the route and once he started by law he has to complete and it wasnt his fault. Really? you are the one that got the text reply. He assured me that he would call his boss and void the charges. Well this morning the charges hit my credit card. Now I feel a big hassle coming on to get a credit that I dont have time for. Based on how much hassle there is to fix this problem will be the deciding factor on if I do any future business with them.Update - 2-28- Spoke with the local account manager Ken. He was understanding and addressed the concerns and made things right. Base on his manner of understanding and actions I am planning on continued service and moving the rating to 4 star

I contacted Terminix for squirrel removal. I paid their upfront $537.50 charge for the service. They came out and set a trap and said they would be out twice a week for two weeks to check the trap. A week later I called because noone had been out and the trap seemed tripped. A tech comes out and resets the trap. Again, stating that they would be out twice a week. That was the last time I saw a technician. The trap has sat mounted to my house for almost a year (smh... I know...). When calling back to lament about their lack of service the rep says she will forward it to a supervisor. Two weeks later, nothing. Needless to say I hired another pest control company. Ive attempted to reach Terminix to retrieve their trap and issue a refund, but due to the high call volume they need to return your call or you can call back. Upon receiving call back the initial rep escalated the call to a supervising rep who sent an email to the associated branch. So, everything was behind the scenes, records of my calls doesnt appear to be documented, and I just have to wait and see if they respond. If not, then Ill have to start back down the same path again. So their issue tracking and operations management is lacking. They may be great for termite removal, but that may be their strength and all the other ancillary services may be a weaknesses. This could be a case of just a poor branch operation. Nonetheless, Ive done my part to inform prospective customers.

Since the beginning of signing up for the treatments, my husband/I have been most pleased with all the service we have received. This is not a review of their service, just a complaint of the kind of people they have working for them.Today, one of their techs, driving a company vehicle, cut me off because he was about to miss his exit. He was running at least 75 in a 65 and recklessly cut over 2 lanes in front of me. He then proceeded to disappear from sight running at least 80-85 in a 70mph zone. I wouldn’t have bothered calling in on him or leaving this review, but he had the nerve to call the company I work for and complain about my driving!!! I have driven a company vehicle for my place of work for 26 years without a single call in. Now, if I ever need someone to kill my bugs, it won’t be Terminix!

I’ve always had very helpful and friendly technicians with Terminix. I love that they’ll come out any time, free of charge if you find any critters in between quarterly services. They always wipe down all the spider webs on the outside of the house and spray everything I ask them to. They never seem exasperated or make you feel like they don’t want to work. They’re will to do whatever it takes to make sure you’re happy with the service. I’ve used Terminix for 10 years and I’m very happy with their service.

My experience with Terminix has been great. Not only did they get rid of the termites, they also repaired any damage caused by the termites. After the latest inspection, Steve overheard our conversation about the upstairs not cooling enough during the summer. He recommended a new layer of insulation in our attic and proceeded to add a 14 inch layer. Steve, Chris and Nick were exemplary in their work while being courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and informative. Thank you Terminix!

Here’s the thing. There is A LOT of options for Pest Control here in Utah. However nobody, and I mean NOBODY compares to Terminix. The quality and value associated with their service is unmatched. Their technicians are not only bright, capable and professional. They will “get dirty” to get the job done.If your a Sam’s club member, that’s where I would go to get the absolute best value on home protection... then sit back and enjoy year round protection in a pest free home.

The workers that come to the house to spray, they always call to leave a message the day before and sometimes a few days before to let me know I am scheduled and what time, also to ask if theres additional i need sprayed. I dont have to be at home unless i need them to spray in the house. They are very prompt to spray every 3 months. The younger employees seem to be kinder and more respectful than the older ones, but I wont hold that against them :)Living in the country we have tons of spiders, mosquitos, and ants so having the property sprayed every 3 months is amazing! Even though our inside/outside animals get flea medicine, we still have the house treated every spring as well.

I used this service September 12, 2020 and am thoroughly disappointed. My technician Brad, showed up High on weed and was so baked he did not complete the service we scheduled and paid for. I keep calling to try and report this issue but the robots that handle the phones won’t let me through to a person just an answering machine. First time did nothing to stop the ants and wasps. On hold for an hour and a half trying to get a respray. Finally called in as a new customer and they picked up in 2 minutes. The person on the phone was very nice and scheduled me for a respray but I dont think she was supposed to. Awful experience thus far. Well have to see what a respray does.Respray did nothing! Still have bees... Called several times, wrote this review and responded to several texts from the company and still no response or even an attempt to fix the problem. Received a text that they were coming out to spray a day or 2 back and I responded that I was very unhappy with their service and do not spray and they sprayed anyways. When the tech rang the doorbell (after spraying the front of the house) my wife answered the door and explained how upset I was with the service and the tech continued to spray. This service is a joke and this company is impossible to get ahold of and they have systematically ignored my communications.

I called for crunching in my walls, I was told removing old insulation and replacing it with special treated insulation would prevent bugs and mice won’t nest in. It was rather expensive but we agreed because we have already spent a great deal of time and money trying to eliminate the problem. I STILL HAVE CRUNCHING IN MY WALLS, newly dug holes in my yard and now a large bill. 😫

COLUMBUS, OH I spent $1600+ on wildlife trapping(squirrels) that covered two years and as many appointments as needed.They were prompt to collect the money but late to literally every single one of their appointments. I forgave the first and second time but literally every time after that they have consistently been late by up to several hours. Todays appointment they called 30 mins after the window to tell me they would be here in 2 hours. 5 hours later they actually showed up.One time, they even arrived without the traps/cages to an appointment where they were supposed to set them up!They are extremely unprofessional.Their customer service is terrible.I recently needed them to come again and had to make 4 phone calls, and send multiple texts.I have worked in customer service before so I try to be extra patient with my representatives, servers, waiters etc. I always forgive the first and second offenses but Terminex is repeatedly late and has the worst communication of any service I have worked with.I feel terrible that I spent so much of my money on their service and am being treated so poorly.I highly recommend you do not work with this company.

We used Terminix for years in several homes in which we lived in different cities and states. Weve become dissatisfied with the service at our current home for regular pest control. Two problems continue to exist after us calling them for follow-up, repeat service- spiders and mosquitoes. Weve decided that we can do it ourselves for less, much less, and get no less results; maybe better. We will soon see.

I had a Terminix rep. showing up at my door selling me a 3 month exterior treatment on 6/8/2020 for $125. Two of my immediate neighbors had signed up, so I did. When I received the email confirmation, it was a one year agreement that would cost me the $125 every 3 months, which agreement would renew automatically every year, or pay $99 to cancel. One of my two neighbors was told the same lie, while the other was a regular customer of Terminix. Dishonest business practice.

I called about a mouse problem. It took 2 weeks for them to come out, I do not knock them for that assuming they are just a busy company. Unfortunately for them they are apparently too busy for my money. It starts by an inspection, thats what you schedule originally for. The inspector then tells you he will send you a email to get your treatments set up. Then you will receive no emails, follow up calls, or calls back after you try and get them on the phone. I called them (by the way all numbers go to a corporate office that will tell you they can not contact your local office directly) and they will tell you that you should just wait another few days. When I called back they then said they will send a message to the local office but it takes 2 days for the system to get the message to the correct office. I still havent heard back and its been 4 weeks 2 days. Obviously I went elsewhere. The company comes highly recommended and they could have charged me hundreds of dollars and I would have paid, but yet they wont take it because they wont talk to their customers well potential customers, I guess they would have to provide a service to have a customer. This may be isolated but Im sure it happens more then just me since its all ran from a single remote headquarters that can not contact the local offices.

We have used Terminex for 10+ years. Our most recent technician (Joy) was great, but we have experienced in the past that the technician would say he treated our property but did not show up at all. Since I retired I request that I am home during the treatment. Amazing how different the results are. Early this week, a TIPP inspection was scheduled. I received a phone message from the tech saying he was on his way. But, he never showed up. About 15 minutes later, I received an email with a complete filled out report showing that he had been to our property. He had not!! I called Terminex and was transferred to Amanda. She called the tech and also reported the situation to a manager. She stated that one of them would call me back within two days. No one called, texted, emailed or left messages! I am done with Terminex. I do not recommend this company! If you use them, make sure you are home or you, too will get taken!!!

Bad customer service/sales.I had terminix at my previous house for 12 years. When I moved to the new house I tried to get a quote, which has been awful. I still do not have an accurate quote. None of the costs verbally communicated line up with the contract that they sent me.There is no local office number; all phone traffic is routed through a call center. I have talked to the national line 3 times trying to get an accurate quote and contact the local team without success (even after a note to the regional manager). All of those calls have resulted in a series of text messages (that included emojis) without actually delivering anything. The only reason I tolerated this terrible treatment is because the tech that services our area (my old house) was really good. But I dont have a choice but to go somewhere else. This also makes me question everything else that terminix promises to do and their guarantees.**Update: Never heard back anything from the inspector or regional manager. This is after being told I would have something June 6 (weeks after my initial request). I have since started with a local pest control company Best Choice Pest Control. They were super responsive and after signing their quote, they were here the next day. I have replied to [email protected] because the inspector and regional manager were so bad.

Ive used terminix with 2 different homes after facing insect issues. We had tried ourselves , and failed. However, with Terminix our issue was resolved with massive improvements within a day. And as long as weve kept Terminix all has been well and we have no bugs around or anywhere inside our home. And if we need them, its super easy to get them back between the routine maintenance. Weve had 2 different techs and both have been super pleasant. Love this company.
