I had a horrible experience in this apartment building and I would NOT recommend it to anyone in the area. First off, it is very noisy- not just from the outside but the walls are so thin you can hear people from across the hall. The management are not helpful and were not honest. They charge you for every little thing in the apartment when you move out- they charge you for painting it, they charge 10 days of rent when they are cleaning the apartment and granted I already moved out. Ive moved in and out of countless number of apartments and never had to pay for so many unnecessary things. So many people move out already once they experience living here. READ EVERY LINE IN THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN!

The Lofts truly is Luxury Student living at an accomodable price! Beautiful view, excellent location, and high-quality furnishings. To top things off youll be dealing with a very kind, understanding, and professional staff. In my mind, the Lofts at 308 has been my favorite place Ive lived while in Columbia, I only wish I had moved in sooner. Theres a bit of prestige to living here, and it makes sense why!

Lofts 309 at The Manor has treated me very well. I have resigned twice for my short-term stay in Columbia as a voucher. The attentive care The Lofts has for the tenant is by far the best I have received at any apartment complex here in Como. The complex is centrally located and a car to commute (as a student) is rarely needed. The building of the complex was made with quality, beautiful material and overall feels like what you should pay for in specified rent. Appliances are included and maintenance is very responsive (24 hours at most). The area is calming/quiet (good study) and there is a well-forested area nearby for night time ambient sounds. A lot of subtle things that this complex offers are absent at others. The team is energetic, communicative, compassionate, and funny. You get the feeling they care about your stay. Big plusIt’s satusyfing when people do their job to its fullest potential. Great job to the good people at The Lofts.-In particular Abbie and Kelly. Hardworking people deserve recognition when possible.

I lived at the Lofts at the Manor for two years and it was a great experience. The management and staff at the Manor were EXCELLENT and very prompt with any maintenance issues, and their communication was amazing. Fantastic location so you can walk to campus and downtown. I work downtown and enjoyed the 3 minute commute. The interior of the apartments is just as beautiful as the exterior. I highly recommend living here!

I lived at The Lofts on Broadway for two years and the management was always helpful and friendly. Maintanence was always responsive and diligent. The layout makes good use of the space, and the view of downtown is well worth it. I enjoyed my time at the Lofts on Broadway and would highly recommend it to others.

I am currently living at the lofts and absolutely love it! The building is beautiful, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the maintenance crew is always on top of things. I put in a maintenance request because my faucet pressure in my kitchen wasn’t as strong as normal and the next day they came and completely replaced the entire faucet and fixed the problem. They always go above and beyond to help. I am signing a new lease with them for the fall because I love living here so much! Highly recommend. :)

The Lofts of Columbia is the place to live! This Apartment Complex is beautiful and well maintained and the management team is incredible- very personable, organized and they get things done quickly! The location is also the best around. It is close to many restaurants and stores. If you are looking for a place to live, please check this building out. You will not be disappointed. I give it 5 stars!

BEAUTIFUL apartments. I lived in the Broadway location, which has more professionals and less undergraduate students - and the location is incredible. Not as noisy as you would think, but definitely some late at night on Wed/Thurs/Sat. The Lofts always responded really quickly to any request or issue I had and quickly resolved them as well. Abbie is who I spoke with mainly and she is such a gem! Really nice and easy to approach. Beautiful view of downtown, balconies were stunning and people always complimented the place when they came over. Studio is very spacious for a studio and very stylish/modern. The only reason I left is because I moved to another state!

I recently moved into my apartment here at the Lofts at 308 9th! The staff has been extremely helpful as I transition into apartment life. I am extremely impressed by the entire staff here at the Lofts. I have filled out two maintenance requests and they are always done by the end of the following day.As far as location, the Lofts cannot be beat. I have lived in other apartment units in downtown Columbia, but I find the Lofts to be the most convenient in terms of distance from both campus and downtown. The unit itself is beautiful. The living room and kitchen are always well-lit by natural light (my favorite!). The floors, walls, kitchen, washer and dyer units, and all of the furniture were in great condition when I moved in.It is safe to say I am VERY happy with my apartment here at the Lofts and am really looking forward to living here the rest of the year.

Best apartments downtown by far! You cant beat the location of The Lofts at 308 9th in relation to downtown and campus. The units are beautiful and the views are even better. Not only is the apartment itself great, I cant say enough about the incredible management and maintenance staff. They are so helpful and will make living at The Lofts fun and easy.

One of the most convenient places to live in Como. You can easily walk to most classes in under 10 min and its a great place to live if you want to go out on the weekends and not have to worry about finding rides/public transportation. Plus theres a Walmart Express on the bottom floor which is more convenient than you would imagine. Overall, The Lofts at 308 Ninth has a good management team, great balcony views, and a perfect location.

We have rented with the Lofts since they opened 3 years ago. What initially was going to be a one year rental has turned into us renting for going on 4 years. The location is great, close to campus, great dining options and of course the Columbia bar scene. We have found the management and staff at the Lofts to be top notch! Any issues that we have raised with them are taken care asap. The Lofts are a great home away from home for us.

As a graduate student, I love it. The Lofts are right by campus, which is a selling point for me. I never have to drive anymore unless its to the grocery store. Some utilities (internet and cable) are included. Never have to worry about your unit falling apart - not cheaply built like most of the other complexes downtown. If something does break, they have a quick response with their maintenance team. Abby in the leasing office is amazing.

I lived at the Manor Apartments off Ashland Rd (owned by The Lofts of Columbia) my senior year and had the best apartment living experience out of my whole college career. The apartments are well kept up and maintenance is very quick! They have new appliances and modern-style living areas which made for comfortable living. The leasing office always responded promptly to phone calls and emails as well; the staff is extremely friendly. Sad to graduate and leave this place! Recommend to anyone!

I’ve been lucky enough to live at the Lofts since they first opened (3 years ago) and can say without a doubt that I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else in Columbia. The building is beautiful, with an incredible staff and easily the best location in town. Management always pays attention and is incredibly generous with their time if you need anything. With maintenance requests getting filled lightning fast, friendly security guards in the evenings, clean hallways, elevators and shared spaces, full-sized washers and dryers, private bathrooms and stellar balconies overlooking downtown CoMo, you’re steps away from the university and steps away from the bustle of downtown. If I could give the Lofts more than 5 stars, I would!

We loved living in the Lofts on Broadway! We are a married couple in our late 20s. We loved being able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and bars downtown. The corner of 10th & Broadway could not be a more ideal location for getting anywhere downtown or walking to campus. We rarely had a problem with noise from outside or noise from neighbors in the building. Overall, our neighbors were respectful professionals around our age which we loved. Anyone looking at this building should be ok with a little noise here and there and some shenanigans in the streets on weekend nights. It was all harmless but something to be aware of before signing. The finishes and appliances in the building are incredibly high quality. You could not ask for a better management team. The leasing team was amazing from the very beginning and Kevin (maintenance) was incredibly responsive when we needed things fixed, a light bulb changed, etc. The building was kept very clean, too. We had 2 great years at The Lofts and would have continued living there if it werent for my husbands residency taking us to Chicago.

My roommate and I put in a maintenance request to have a slow-draining sink fixed and a lightbulb replaced the other evening. The next morning after returning from class at 10 we found maintenance had already been by and fixed both problems. Hard to beat 12 hour service, we couldn’t be happier about choosing to live here.

I lived at the Lofts property at 308 9th for roughly a year and a half during my time in graduate school. The location is exceptional being just steps away from Mizzous campus and downtown Columbia. The rooms have great furnishings from comfortable beds and couches to sleek appliances (Cable/WiFi included). My windows faced north toward downtown for a great view every day and tons of natural lighting. The staff is super friendly and very helpful with any questions you have about your lease or your room (especially Abbie and Kelly). Maintenance requests are easy to fill out online and theyre quickly completed by the staff. Sometimes you can hear your neighbors through the walls, but Ive had this problem at other apartment complexes too so its in no way unique here. If youre a graduate student or a young professional looking for an accommodating place to live near Mizzous campus and downtown CoMo, Lofts at 308 9th is definitely recommended.

I had a great experience living at The Lofts. The apartments are really nice on the inside and you cant beat the location. A Wal-Mart market is located on the ground floor for quick grocery runs, and youre a short walk to all downtown restaurants and bars! When there are so many options of downtown living to chose from in Columbia you would think they were all pretty comparable. You would be wrong. The Lofts, both on 308 S Ninth and the Broadway, stand far above the competition. The Lofts is synonymous with luxury living in Como. With lofted ceilings in every room and jacuzzi tubs in every bath its hard not to feel like youre at a spa instead of a college apartment. My location at 308 S Ninth really couldnt be better. Living above both Walmart Express and International Tap House really just spoils you to death. And if accommodations and location alone arent enough to blow you out of the water, the staff will. Managers Abbie and Kelly are the faces and heart of this establishment and they couldnt be better at their jobs.Anytime you walk into the office one of them will be there to greet you with a smile and be ready to help with whatever you might need. (A far cry from brookside management which is all college kids). Kevin, the resident man for all things handy is always one maintenance report away from fixing anything and everything that could go wrong (or you might have accidentally broken). He is often the same day you report it, his efficiency is astounding.Lastly when it comes to safety nothing NOTHING compares to the lofts. Key fobs on every entrance and a security guard at the front door from 9pm till 5 am every night. Hes not only there to keep people out but to tell your neighbors to keep it down when they wake you up with a dance party in the middle of the night. If youre looking for an apartment in Columbia there is really no reason to look past this.

I subleased at 308 Ninth over the summer while my current apartment was under construction, and I have nothing but good things to say. First, the apartments are huge. The bedroom was as big as my bedroom back home (in a house) and the walk in closet had super high ceilings and enough built in shelves and clothing racks for everything you own. The countertops are nice granite, and the tub has jets in it. The provided cable TV is great. Its Century Link and you get all the good channels in HD and can record shows. The only negative I had was that my particular unit was on the second floor (the first level with apartments) and my porch had the exhaust from the Moes kitchen pointing directly at it, meaning you cant leave the sliding glass for open on nice days unless you want your apartment to smell like grease.Management is more than awesome! Particularly Abbie was available any time of day if there were problems. Very nice and extremely helpful.I would highly recommend renting here, especially based on the horror stories Ive heard from people who rent at some other places nearby (cough* Brookside, Todd) and I have my own horror stories from the Rise, but the Lofts is the opposite of those experiences!

Maintenence was awesome! I postponed putting in a maintence request for months because I thought it would be too much of a hassle to schedule with my roommate and Is busy schedules. But after I had enough of all the small inconvienences, I put in a request and they were there the next day! They were super nice and effecient. Everything was addressed and taken care of during a time that worked best for me.
