Don’t live here!!! Maintenance workers would come into our apartment without knocking or calling before, if they ever did come. They used paint to cover up mold and you’ll find dirt everywhere when you move in. The front desk workers are incredible rude and most of the time their phone doesn’t even work. A few hundred underage kids drank in the parking lot two nights in a row, the actual tenants couldn’t sleep and the kids stood on some of our cars. We had to call the police because they were playing music until 2am. The pool is rarely open and the speed humps outside will make driving through the parking lot miserable over time. At the end they will try to overcharge you for everything and take your security deposit.

Iv been living at campus view for close to 3 years now(released for the next year) and I have enjoyed it a ton. My rate is super cheap and the amenities and community is safe also meets my needs. Josh a maintenance team member was able to come to a maintenance call very quickly and solve the issues in a fast nice manner, while also being aware of the pandemic and wore a mask. The office people such as Trevor have been working there for a long time and was the same person who gave me a tour of when I was thinking about moving in. Trevor and Josh are examples of the wonderful people that work here that make it a easy decision for me to release every year while I continue my education at Mizzou.

I took a tour of this place back in June. Although the amenities are nice and the rent is cheap, I didnt particularly like the layout of the 4 bedroom apartment. The bedrooms are too close together and in addition, two people each share a bathroom. This might be an issue if you want to have your own personal space but you feel like you cant.Having a pool, a tennis court, and a basketball course are nice additions. But ultimately, youre signing up for a place to live so you might as well like where youre living.

Pretty nice place. I got a special and pay 280 for rent (a pet fee included, so technically 250ish). I live in a standard 4-bedroom. There were scrapes on the floors/walls, but not enough to bug me considering how low rent is. When I moved in there were quite a few things broken (shelf, a/c, remote, shower head, dish washer, washing machine) but maintenance was quick to fix as much as they could within the first couple of days--very impressed by the team. There were some things I had to fix myself or call my dad over to help me with (s/o to all of the handy dads out there). I was lucky enough to have a room with newer carpet, but my roommates carpet is very old and stain-ridden and generally unpleasant (the main reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars). The staff is kind and its pretty clear that theyre there to help you the best they can. I love using the pool, gym and volleyball/tennis court. If my rent were increased to $375 I would definitely move out and find a better place. The apartment I live in now is good quality for a $250 rent--not a $375 rent. You can definitely find better quality standard apartments for 375$.

A nice place with terrible employees. I lived at campus view for a year during which my apartment was robbed four times. I asked them constantly to change the locks or do something and they always “put in work orders” but never got around to it so our door remained broken and unable to lock. Before long everything we owned was gone including furniture that belonged to the apartment. When we moved out, we were charged nearly 2000 dollars for all of the theft they should have prevented. We paid them and I asked them if they were positive that I had now paid them all we owed them and they assured me we were square, until the next month when I started getting calls from debt collectors and my credit score began going down because of campus view. Absolutely disgraceful place.

Inquired about accepting non students, the guy (Sean) on the phone told me no problem. He had me fill out the application, had me give them all my personal info, telling me I’m approved, wanted to sent me a rental agreement. Then I get a roommate match request and an email from another lady and she says they don’t accept non students! Why waste several hours of my time, take my personal information and than answer the first question I had differently. Clearly a lack of training with their staff.

Half of what you see and heard at tour is not real. A bus was promised to be delivered by September didnt come until the start of second semester and it operates on a short schedule. Security is very poor and office service is very unprofessional and slow. someone might tell you you got what you paid for, I would say what I got is probably worth only half of what I paid

This is a follow up comment about my daughters experience with staying at Campusview. Please see my previous comment the apartment manager replied to.Today we recived a letter in the mail stating that she was charged a $60 cleaning fee (Im assuming it is the carpet cleaning fee) and a $30 trash fee. There was NO trash in the apartment and the carpet was clean. They are obviously taking advantage of college students based on many students complaining about similar issues. We have already reported them to Mzzou. My daughter found the apartment on Mizzous campus housing list. I am contacting BBB as well as a lawyer to dispute these charges. If you have been charged an unnecessary fee by Campusview/Tarantino Properties please contact me at tarantinopropertieslawsuit @gmail.com. BTW Marisa Burgett left a comment and gave Campusview 5 stars... She is the property manager!

I moved here in July of 2019. The first day I moved in my apartment was covered in roaches that took them until middle August to clear. After, my air conditioner stopped working in August. The maintenance team never came too fix it causing my apartment to get over 100 degrees. The walls are pretty thin here, so you might want to invest in earplugs because you can hear literally everything. The people who work in the office are extremely unprofessional and will enter your apartment and room whenever they fill necessary. If I could rate zero stars I would and have photographed proof for those interested in moving here!!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. All of the reviews with good ratings are not from people who actually lived here, they all say oh I walked into the office and it seemed nice!. CampusView is awful, and I will never advise anyone to live there. We were EXTREMELY overcharged on our utilities, to the point where some months each person would pay $100 a month. Thats $400 for the whole apartment for ONE MONTH of utilities, which is almost impossible considering we were never home during the day and were vary conscious turning on and off electrical appliances. I have also been billed $200 recently for utilities, but I havent lived there for over 2 months now.The apartment also was never cleaned before we moved in, so Im not sure why we had to clean our apartment before move-out when we were not given an apartment nearly as clean. Also, the late-night bus ONLY runs on Thursdays, and dont bother getting youre own parking spot. If someone else parks in your spot, the office will literally do nothing for you. So you pay for a spot that anyone can still use with no consequences. Also our A/C went out and it took days for someone to come fix it. The in-unit washer and dryer will also steam up your apartment and you will never want to be there while laundry is being done because the machines are so obnoxious and cant keep in heat.

WORST APARTMENT EVER. There are tiny little bugs in our shower, not to mention the showers arent even clean... they have stains. The lights flicker and make noises. There are marks all over the walls and floors from previous owners. There was dried up food..? I have no idea what the hell it was, dried up on the wall where my bed is facing. The water is ALWAYS SHUT OFF BECAUSE OF THE HORRIBLE PLUMBING HERE. Maintenance will send out an email at least every other week of why your buildings water will be getting shut off for repairs within the building. Rent or utilities should be cut in half because there is never any running water! The apartment looks ran down & old even though they claim that the units are renovated. They show you a nice model apartment when you come to tour but trust me that is not what youre getting. The walls are paper thin I can hear everything even from the people who live above me. Just overall a trash place, dont live here.

There are many things wrong with these apartments and the individuals running the complex. But i will first start with my apartment. My unit was in pretty bad shape when i moved in a year ago, the kitchen was outdated, and in general did not look like the apartment they show you when you take a tour. But over the summer we had a mold infestation when i moved for break and when we came back we cleaned it because the offices were not open. After spending 3 hours cleaning the mold the apartment was livable for the time being but we wanted the maintenance staff to fix it as soon as possible. Well it took close to a month for them to step foot into the apartment and they fixed part of the problem but there was still mold that had already grown back after we cleaned it the first time. We asked the maintenance people if they were going to do more and they said yes it will get gutted as soon as possible. Now lets fast forward to December, after having several small things wrong in the apartment and asking the maintenance staff to come in and fix it. And each time the staff came in i asked if they are going to fix all of the problems in the kitchen and fix the mold in general, and their response was yes as soon as possible. Well a request was filed to fix it again and when the maintenance staff came in they looked at the mold and left saying that it was not a problem. So we went to their boss and said that we have talked to them and they have done nothing. She came in a looked and said that it looked bad and that they should of fixed it, so they came and cleaned it. only after talking to them a dozen times, filing out 3 requests, and complaining to their supervisor that they did a single thing. Now that i have covered the poor quality of the complex and the incompetent maintenance staff its time for the useless members of their office staff. I have gone into the office on multiple occasions asking various questions and either their answer is i dont know, let me get my manager, or is completely incorrect. The best example is when i asked what it would take to get out of the complex because i was tired of living in my moldy apartment. I went to the office and asked what i needed to do and one of the staff members gave me a piece of paper and said sign this and give me $150 and its taken care of, seeing that this is obviously not true i talked to another person and they said that you need someone to sublease the apartment and pay the $150 dollars. The next example is when i submitted a review on their website they contacted my sister who is not my cosigner, who is my room mate to get my information because they couldnt seem to find it. When the proper thing to do is contact my cosigner and ask for my contact information. This complex is full of incompetent, useless staff members, and the apartment are in terrible condition, i would not recommend this complex to my worst enemy much less any of my friends.

Way overpriced for what you get. The units are tiny and not in great condition (even though they are recently renovated) Our unit has a fire place that I was excited to use (To save on using heat a little in the winter) but right when it started to get cold, we received a notice that we would be fined for using them because they were being repaired. Well its been 3 months and they still arent repaired. The flooring is coming up in places and was like that when we moved in. The worst is how utilities is calculated. Instead of being by unit, they just add up the entire building and divide evenly. The staff is nice and polite and the shuttle is always on time and runs often enough that you never have to wait very long, but its just too expensive.

I haven’t had a good nights sleep in months. Save your money and fine some place better I wish I had. I will be moving as soon as I can get out of the lease. UPDATED REVIEW- Ive now lived here almost 4 months. In four months my review went from a 4 star to a 1 star. Here is why! So the move in process I didnt have to much on an issue with, other than not knowing where you will be roomed before you sign the lease. The potholes were fixed so big plus there. However since Ive moved in here are some of the issues Ive been faced with. #1 bugs. Not just any type of bugs either. Cockroaches. I put in two request for pest control. My roomate went to the office and asked if they knew anything about it. I then got an email from Trevor in the office saying they didnt know anything about bugs being an issue. I find this hard to believe considering someone did spray for bugs. Then Trevor said I needed to get my cat out of the house so they could spray which was no big deal, however, it did raise a red flag. The first time they sprayed they did it with my cat in the house. This brings me to issue #2. When I moved in I was told only one pet per unit. And I was placed in a unit by myself with my cat. I didnt have roomates for 2 months of that time. When I finally did get roomates they came by themselves. They lived here about a month before coming home with a dog. When I filled out my roomate profile I said I couldnt live with dogs due to being terrified of them. So naturally I said something to the office and expressed how concerned I was. The office did seem to understand. And made me feel at ease the first couple days. However after allowing them a few days to rectify the situation I went up there. I was basically told if I didnt want the dog there I needed to tell my roomates to have it boarded. What!!!! This is not my responsibility. I am not the employee that forgot to check to see if the unit already had a pet before allowing another pet. So why is it my responsibility to do this? I was originally told my roomates either had to transfer to another unit or get rid of the dog. 3 weeks later, and the dog is still here. This was an employees mistake, to which they even admitted. Then the front office basically told my roomates I complained, which made living with them a total nightmare. The front office told my roomates they would have to pay the fee to transfer rooms when it was the offices fault. I am not happy with the way they are continuing to handle this situation. And definitly not happy they expect me to tell my roomates they need to spend copious amounts of money boreding a dog they were told they could have, due to an employees mistake. I am a human and feel for my roomates as they are a couple and will be charged 300 total to move apartments. The system is also down apparently, so my roomates were told they cant work on getting them moved to another unit.ORIGINAL REVIEW-Looking at renting here, the main thing that concerns me is not knowing what apartment youll go into before signing a lease. They told me they would do everything they could to get me in a ground level, however it wasnt guaranteed. I would rather wait for one to become available then to be stuck on the 3rd floor. Overall the staff was nice and so were the apartments. The speed bumps however were awful. I know they serve a purpose but dang. And the entrance has some major pot holes. Overall I was pleased though. Might have more to add once I actually get told what apartment I will be in.
