I walked in with a few ideas but no real vision in mind and she walked me through all of my options for a change and we decided to go with teasy-lights. She was kind, informative, and super funny during our appointment. On top of that her work was amazing and I keep getting compliments at work and the dog park!

I see Karen at Veda on Broadmoor for all my styling needs. She is a true gem and always takes the time to make each appointment feel special. It is the tiny details and effort that she puts forth at every appointment that make her stand out. Im truly grateful to have found her as a stylist and Veda as a Salon. The salon is always very clean, organized, and well run by all its staff. All staff at Veda have always been kind and curtious.

Great experience! They accommodated me by letting my almost 3 year old daughter come. She sat in the stroller with her snacks and tablet while mommy got her hair fixed. My hair stylist was very friendly and very quick at her job, but knew what she was doing! Loved everything about my hair in the end!! Again, all around phenomenal experience!!!

UPDATE:Its been over a week and I am getting used to styling my hair with how my hair was cut (does that make sense?). I just want to say this again, the hairstylist who did my hair was really nice and sweet and was very professional. Would come back to this salon for my next hair cut.I booked with a level 3 hairstylist. I showed her what I wanted. She was really sweet and nice. After she was done she asked if it was ok. I asked her to layer it some more. She did. But it wasn’t enough. I could’ve asked her again to layer it but I needed to be somewhere. The next day after I washed my hair and styled it, my hair looked choppy and the layer did not look nice. I’m putting my hair in a bun for awhile until it grows out and settles and then I’ll get it fixed. Next time, I’m booking with Courtney. She did my hair before and it was AMAZING...she was amazing.

Kayla was such a pleasure to work with. This was my first experience at this salon and I feel so lucky to have found her. She was fun ,lively and talented. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and they took care of everyone with such care especially concerning safety guidelines with Covid. The facility was gorgeous and clean. I just left this salon after my consultation with Courtney. I am shocked the the awful service I just received and that’s after just a consultation. Whitney wouldn’t even provide me the owners information so I could speak to them. All she said was she wasn’t allowed to provide it. Which is false. Having anyone leave your salon in practically tears should be PRIORITY if that’s NOT how you conduct your business.

Great hair cut and Alysia is amazing with listening to her customer and giving great feedback. Alysia educated me on chemicals in shampoos & dyes that are potentially cancerous. I highly recommend Alysia.

I had an appointment today at Veda with Marisa and I ended up leaving in tears. I was getting my roots touched up for platinum blonde hair; I was left in the dark and didn’t get much say with what was going on during the service, such as not keeping me in loop with what toner she was using (I overheard another worker tell Marisa ‘thanks for trying that one out for me’) and doing what she wanted instead. When I turned around to take a peek at the progress, there was a huge clump of my hair in the sink that she didn’t tell me about. When I asked her about it, she admitted she bit off more than she could chew and that she wasn’t skilled enough to do the service but took it on anyway. I now have extreme breakage, orange midsections, and black stripes in my hair. I had to go to a different salon to try to maintain the integrity of my hair since Veda Salon didn’t offer to fix it. They did comp my service, but I still feel slighted for wasting 7 hours of my day for them to botch my hair completely. It’ll eventually grow back, but this is a huge slam to my self esteem. I was treated like a human guinea pig and it’s upsetting that this service was going to be $250+ at original price. When I go get something done by a professional, I expect them to guide me in the right direction to the best result, not cross their fingers and hope for the best.

First time guest and I had a WONDERFUL experience!! Sarah (the receptionist) was SO polite and lovely on the phone- she gave an OUTSTANDING first impression! Stacy (the other receptionist) was so kind and helpful as well! Marissa was my hair stylist and SHE. WAS. AMAZING. Marissa asked thorough, useful questions about what I wanted, she talked me through each step prior to taking it (which was comforting!) and her talent left me feeling like BRAND NEW. Today was such a pleasant, unexpected surprise- I will undoubtedly be back AND definitely recommend Veda Salon & Spa- Broadmoor!!

My first experience was great loved my cut, facility was great. 2nd time I opted for a cut and color. I was going to be late so I called to see if I needed to reschedule. They said no problem. I was 10 minutes late. Me and the stylist discussed colors I said i like reds, burnt oranges etc. He clarified about copper tones. Did a full highlight, while the bleach was sitting he was helping another customer and said someone else would wash me. The bleach was in for what seemed like an extended amount of time.. Someone else washed me, She went over to him and asked if he wanted to double tone because my roots were very blond and my ends were still pretty dark and they were afraid it would be too ashy. He said no. Then he had someone else tone my hair without even looking at it because he was busy. Finally got around to cutting my hair at the end which I told him I needed a lot of layers due to my curl pattern and he gave me a trim at best and did not give me the desired layers. The cut took him all of 15 minutes. He asked if he could do a natural style due to it being late and I agreed.This consisted of him putting curl cream in my hair and a spritz of hair spray. I voiced concern about the color before I left the salon. My hair was frizzy and fried. You want to leave the salon looking like a goddess and I left looking like I stuck my finger in a light socket. My scalp was red in places and painful. The color was uneven, and awful. My family and friends even went as far as to say it looked grey. Which is not a good color when that is not what you werent opting for. I called the salon and they could only get me in 10 days from the original appt which is a long time for service recovery. I was in tears. I did accept the appt and later canceled as I could not leave my hair the way it was for 10 days. I gave it a few washes to see if it would even out or change the color but it didnt look any better. It took a week of deep conditioning treatments for my hair to not feel crunchy. I paid for a high level stylist and did not receive what I paid for. The facility is nice, the staff are personable and professional. Good customer service however could not fix my hair.

My hair was absolutely fried. I came to Veda hoping they could help get my hair back to a healthier state. Marisa was kind, professional and worked some magic on my hair! I left feeling beautiful. Thank you so much. Ill definitely be back!!

Kellie did amazing work! She sat down with me and we really went in depth when discussing what I wanted vs what I could do with the lightness I already had. Although I couldnt go purple like I wanted without frying my hair (no thanks), I love the chocolate color we decided on. It is perfect in dimension, color definition, and the blending looks great and not chunky at all. She also did great work on my cut. I decided to go back to having a heavy, side swept bang amd do not regret it. I love how my hair turned out and will be coming back with my 3 little girls to have her cut their hair as well.Furthermore, she was super friendly, easy to talk to, and made me super comfortable on her chair. Definitely a favorite for my time here in Colorado Springs.

This place is awful! Dont ever buy someone a gift card from this place!! They waste your time and refuse to just give you a refund with unsatisfactory service. Also, in order to book an appointment you have to put a 50% deposit on a debit card which they will not move over to the gift card. I spent way more than my haircut was worth, but I can accept that. I just cant accept the way this business rip off customers that dont care to do business with them ever again!!!!

Yesterday was my first time being a customer at Veda. My first impression upon walking in was how absolutely clean and professional everybody was. Melinda was so knowledgeable and friendly. She listened to my wants to give me exactly what I was looking for. She really took her time to make sure my hair looked flawless. Melinda has gained a new client. My hair looks amazing I couldnt be any happier with it.

I did appreciate how empathetic Shannon was in listening to my concerns and addressing the issues with the stylist that did my hair.Original Review: I was so excited about my appointment with Raquel who I was told is a level 4 on April 28th.I booked with Veda because I was tired of the atmosphere and constant delays at Beauty Bar in downtown. I booked for a highlight, in retrospect I should have book l for hair painting.Nonetheless, I asked for highlights on the crown of my head and wanted a cool/neutral color as my baylayage was growing out and I previously had thicker larger face framing done and wanted something similar but all over.Raquel was friendly and went above and beyond for me but ultimately fell short with what she did to my hair. I cried immediately when I got in the car and am still crying weeks later. She did a partial highlight that only went halfway to the middle of my head and a low light that darker my beautifully and expense previously baylayage. My hair looks streaky and blotchy with baby lights going to half the length of my hair. I paid $300+ for this lady to ruin almost a year of lighting. I wish i could post before and after photos of my hair on this review to really show you how awful my hair looks.

Kelsey is absolutely amazing! I love what she has been doing with my hair. She has got me hooked on hair painting and she has really found the perfect color tones and style for me. My hair has never looked healthier and I am constantly getting compliments on it. I feel like she goes that extra mile every single visit. Additionally, she is super sweet and really fun to talk-- she makes me feel right at home and the hours just fly by!

I scheduled an appointment for an updo for my elopement a month prior (I’m from out of state) and once the stylist found out I was a “bride” as I’m sitting in her chair, she said “oh bridal hair is usually longer than 1 hour and includes a previous consultation and $150.” Considering I got in CO the day before I didn’t have time for a consultation. I simply needed some curls and a low bun for a head piece to stay in for our outdoor ceremony. Sure enough Veda charged me $150 for 1 hour of service, no consultation and the appointment was not longer per a typical “bridal” appointment. In fact we started late! What a rip off considering an updo is $62. I doubt she would’ve done anything different if I said I was just attending a formal event.

My haircut was done by Jon and he did a fabulous job!I told him what I wanted and even the frustrations Ive had with my hair. He made suggestions that really made a difference when he styled it for me, and if I didnt understand something he took the time to explain.I also made him aware of a scar behind my ear thats still tender from surgery about 4-5 weeks ago. He was really gentle around that area which I really appreciated!

This place is awesome they are priced very reasonable but more importantly is the quality of work that they produce. I have very difficult hair with many colics and I have been to 5 or 6 other hairstylist in the Springs and none of them have been able to do a decent job on a consistent basis. Then my wife suggested I try Veda salon and I met Jon who took the time to listen to what I wanted, he did a very thorough job took its time and now he has a very satisfied customer who will be returning again and again and again!

Thanks to Monique for rescuing my hair after a misguided attempt to cut it myself while staying safe at home. She performs miracles! I highly recommend this talented and sweet stylist.

This was my first time at this salon, where I got a haircut and highlight after needing something new and different. I didnt have a good time. I had an *amazing* time! It wasnt a hair service, but a genuine spa experience. While my color was setting I received a complimentary hand massage, then my hands and head were wrapped in warm towels after my wash. The cut itself was shorter than I expected but the stylist seemed to really know what would work on my hair from color to cut to product. The salon seems to genuinely care about their patrons and want us to have an enjoyable experience. The price isnt much more than most other high end salons and it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend.Update: the color lasted all the way until April (5 months), and could probably go another month. Best highlight EVER!

I was new to town and needed to find a salon. Im happy with my choice of Veda Salon. Most of the staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable when youre there. There are all types of customers, so everyone should feel welcome. I had my hair highlighted and trimmed on this visit. The stylist listened to my description of the color I wanted, and Im very happy...perfect! They do hand/arm massages while waiting for the color to be finished, and it feels fantastic! The prices are a little bit on the high end of what I find reasonable for a talented, qualified stylist...but Im happy with the results and will continue to be a client...its worth it!!

If you need the BEST color specialist, ask for Kellie. In addition to her wealth of experience, she can intuit exactly what is right for her client. I never know how to articulate what I want. Thankfully, Kellie does. She should be called The Color Psychic.(I get so many compliments on my hair, that I carry lots of her cards with me.)In addition, clients are treated with the TLC usually reserved for special friends. She offered me an amazing rosemary mint scalp shampoo massage as well which I took her up on (worth every penny). If I would have died in that moment I would have died the happiest my scalp has felt in a long long time! And I honestly found Kellie through her amazing google reviews. Veda Salon (Broadmoor) has a very relaxing, calming atmosphere and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. I have never had a bad experience here...always great! Tena gave a great massage, actually I think the best massage I’ve had, and definitely the best on the neck area. It was very relaxing and beneficial. Definitely makes a difference in how I feel. I won’t go anywhere besides AVEDA Broadmoor for a massage.

Great conversations and professionalism overall

I first went to Veda after going to a different salon that ruined my hair. This other Salon completely fried my hair one the color was not done properly my hair was brown swamp green and grey but my hair was fried I ended up having to cut 10 inches off of my hair. I went into Veda sing if there is anything they can do I got paired up with a master stylist named Brandy and she has been Heaven Sent not only did she fix my hair she was able to slowly repair it so my hair is now back to beautiful natural color soft and growing well. I would recommend Brandy slash the Veda to anyone I came acrossed I am truly thankful for their help not to mention I have a great time there they are down-to-earth fun people and honest.

Kayla gave me the best cut Ive ever had! She made my thin hair look so full and GORGEOUS. I get so many compliments every day! She gave me a style thats easy to maintain, while still looking phenomenal! My husband treated me to a spa day at Veda for my birthday. I had never done anything like that before and it was such a wonderful, relaxing experience!
