Brandon, Bruno, Jay and the team @ Restoration 1 impressed us with their professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness, and work ethic. They demoed, cleaned and sanitized our basement after a sewer backup laid waste to our finished basement. I wouldnt hesitate to call on them again if the need arises.

Can someone please call us back , the gentleman who came to start our job, wasnt wearing a mask in our home...now we find out he has covid! We have had this hole in our flooring for 4 weeks, materials all over my house and we have sent numerous emails trying to get scheduled for our warranty work. We also have a basement vinyl sink covering that needs to be replaced. Please take care of this issue!!!!!! please communicate with your costumers!And please have your employees not smell like cigarette smoke and have them wear masks in peoples home!!!!!!!

I’m in stage 1 of my restoration from a small attic fire. The 1st crew was the cleaning crew who chemically remove the soot from walls, floors, cabinets, shelving etc. I had the opportunity to meet David and Jack who worked in my home while I was away at work. They completed the job in 4 days as promised and they did really great work. Great attention to detail and returning furniture and property back to it’s correct place. Thanks for the hard work! It’s genuinely appreciated.

They give very informative education classes on all different aspects of construction, smoke, fire, and flood restoration. It is very interesting to take a few classes.

Wouldnt recommend charges 6 grand to plug fans in for over 2 weeks and lay plastic basically, highway robbery... ended up with 500 electric bill on top, workers were very nice though

We had our sub basement flood due to structural window frame failure and subsequent sump pump failure. Not an experience I would wish on my worst enemy. The initial on sight team was amazing. We had so many wonderful techs through the whole ordeal. These professionals were more compassionate and caring than our own insurance company. This is a very emotional experience to go through. Needless to say we are so grateful for Earl, Jake, Marcelena and Jay and Wes the plumber. These techs were awesome and never made us feel like we were bothering them with questions. If anything good came out of this was the good we saw in these wonderful people. If I left one out I apologize but these were our heroes.

Had a water leak which caused my kitchen to have to be completely redone. My previous cabinets and floor had been in for over 15 years with no issues. After the new cabinets and floor have been in for approx 1 year. I have cracked and flaking grout, tiles are all uneven and can feel the difference when you walk on them and some feel like there is not adequate mortar underneath as they shift when you step on them. Im also constantly having to adjust my doors and if I barely bump the cabinets when putting things in or taking things out they get dings and scratches.

Nahom & his guys were so awesome. My upstairs toilet overflowed and flooded almost my entire townhome. I called around and no one was able to help me in emergency except for Restoration 1. But it is a pleasure to do so when it makes clear to management how wonderfully an employee (Deema Aqra) has represented their company.Today I called Restoration 1 to ask for the return of my dolly, which along with some 2x12’s had been mistakenly taken by a work crew after a job at my house. Anita sent me to Deema Aqra to work it out.Deema was very professional in listening to my story: the dolly must have been picked up by mistake along with the 2x12’s it sat near on the back patio. She asked for a description and said she’d look for it. I called later to hear the good news. She had found my dolly. “It was easy”, she said. It had your name on it.Then the possibly tough part started. How to return it. At first it was “when can you pick it up?” Understandably, no one would be enthused to drive a dolly out to Divide from Springs, even though it was not my mistake.Well, I’m moving, the movers are coming on Thursday, my car is in Woodland Park getting a cracked windshield fixed, and I have no transportation outside friends schlepping me until it’s fixed. And I need the dolly for the move.”Deema’s tone with me was possibly the nicest I’ve encountered in years. On behalf of the company she took cheerful responsibility for getting the dolly back to me. She altered her schedule to do so, and mentioned being in Woodland Park as part of it.My friend will drive me to the Auto Body shop once my car is ready. So I saw a chance to make her task easier. We agreed that she’d drop off the dolly there before noon. Saved her the 25 mi. extra round trip to Divide. Gets me my dolly back.It may all sound mundane to you. Flooded basement Nahom, Bruno, and Brandon where fantastic!

Mold mitigation was started 6/23. Workers were prompt and work seemed fine. However, clean-up was not thorough and we now have black spots in our crawl space and are wondering if the mold was moved from our bathroom to the crawl space during the clean-up.The rebuild was a disaster start to Never Finished for a small basement bathroom. Took off work TWICE to have workers not show up at all. Most of the other works were extremely late, and we had to call to make sure they were still coming hours after scheduled arrival time. Workers could not always complete assigned jobs, because previous work had not been finished. The work that was done was piecemeal and IT LOOKS IT. The floor had a large bubble, the boards werent lined up with the tub or the baseboards, paint was not touched up, and the vanity was leveled improperly. Some of it was able to be fixed. Restoration One refused to fix several items. We requested a supervisor come out to look at the work Twice, and it never happened, nor did they call us back. It has been almost Two Months, and we had to hire another company to come redo the bathroom because the quality of the work was so poor. Tried to reach out to Corporate and heard nothing. At this point, we are filing an official complaint with the BBB.We choose this company based on their reviews, however our experience has been entirely different from the 4 and 5 star reviews.

Jake was really good. Great with my animals and mindful of chemicals used around them. It only took 3 days and they kept things cleaned up the entire time. I highly recommend them. And ask for Jake if you remember. He really went above and beyond.

We were without a kitchen for nearly four months!! I have missed numerous days of work, and time with my family to be home and available for their employees and contractors to do their work, then come back and fix it because it was done wrong or they didnt have the correct equipment/materials. Weve been passed to so many different people in charge of our remodel and none of them seemed to have any communication on what was going on.A couple of the techs that came out were very helpful and respectful. Brandon, Earl and Robert were hard working guys that did great work. Theyre the only reason this is not a 1 star review. Some of the techs that came out in between had much lower standards. There was no follow up to the work that they did. Im not their boss. Im not a contractor. I shouldnt have to follow up with uncompleted work. I feel there should be a project manager or leader that signs off on their work. People at the office, did not take responsibility for mistakes and miscommunication either.The drain in our sink backed up in early May. May 10th, Earl came out to mitigate the water damage. He was amazing! He was timely, had the water mitigated, (dried, flooring, cabinets, and appliances removed) within a couple days. We told them from day one, we wanted to upgrade cabinets, countertops, and flooring. Despite constant inquiries, we didnt receive options for the new cabinets until July 13th! Two months later! Just to get a link to the page with the available options. We didnt get to see the options for the countertops until July 31st! On August 6th, the cabinets were, MOSTLY installed. One was measured wrong, so they needed to reorder it. We had to warranty three doors right away that were installed with splits running through them or missing paint. These were put together at their shop and sent out with very obvious flaws. The granite counter tops were first installed August 17th. The main piece had to be replaced on August 19th because they cut the hole for the sink for a top mount, but mounted the sink underneath anyway. The floors were finally completed on August 23rd. Robert was great, and did quality work. Brandon came in to install baseboards and finish up the cabinets, he was told they were already painted, and ready for install (they werent) so he had to install the pieces and come back the next day to paint and seal them. That night, we were moving appliances back into place (first time our stove wouldve been plugged in since mothers day) and I our granite countertops did not leave enough space for our stove, so the granite company had to come out a third time to pull up a section, move it, and reseal it. After nearly four months we are back to a functioning kitchen. There are still things to be done here and there, but my wife and I will find someone else to do the work.

Had two windows with water leaks, one damaged the window sill. One had microbial staining. The mitigation effort was conducted properly and timely. The original estimate was in excess of $5K, as it turned out the scope of the project was much less than originally estimated. The original estimate was approved by insurance and was stated as too high. they settled for much less. Once the repair project started it took two days of 6 man hours each, material was a ten foot piece of outside trim, three small pieces of drywall, mud, tape, paper, screws, nails. We supplied the paint. The final charge came in at $3,362.94 for total project, $1,681.47 per six hour shift. Rework estimate was less than fair.

I had Jake come over and do an estimate of the damages and he was extremely helpful in showing me my issues and what to do. Would definitely recommend having them come over and assessing the water damage.

I love this business because Lance and his team are very passionate and good at what they do! I came to they’re shop for a fire cleanup class and even more then that learned so much. Thanks for the great learning opportunity. You are the real deal!

I attempted speak with the owner lance, after dealing with weeks of late work, and an attempt to collect money from us on services they never performed. After going over the itemized list of services they said they performed, and then calling them out on trying to charge us for those unperformed services, they made a massive problem for us to get in touch to get the problem resolved and have the items taken off of our bill. When we finally got the items we could see on the invoice sent to USAA removed we asked to see labor costs and material costs etc. as obviously the trust was now gone and we didn’t want to pay them a dime more than was necessary, they refused. The owner did not return my text or call asking for simpleProof of costs so we could part ways peacefully. Chad the contractor who we never saw in the entire rebuild, threatened to put a lien on our home literally days after they tried to strong arm us into signing the paperwork for a completed job, when we the job was not done and we refused. Anyone in law knows you can’t just throw a lien on a home for no reason and it would cost them more in legal fees, and then they would end up having to show receipts that they didn’t want to show. Deema is an awful coordinator and I had to constantly ask what was going on and inquire about delays, I felt like I was directing the job, not the other way around. When I would ask questions about delays or pricing etc. she was rude and told me stop micromanaging, yet if I didn’t respond quickly enough to her I would get a barrage of calls and emails, it was ridiculous. They left the job unfinished, finally after not hearing back from the owner after multiple attempts to see why it had gotten to this point we called our insurance company, and dealt with it through them. Chaos honestly, the basement sat undone for almost a month before they started the rebuild. It was awful. The only good report I have is on the demolition crew. They were kind respectful and quick and efficient. Rebuild team Chad, Deema, Lance the owner in no way care about the customer. It seems to be All about the money for them. We reluctantly paid our remainder after the lien was threatened multiple times instead of just simply answering our questions. My husband ended up cleaning the basement after the crew. I would go somewhere more customer focused and efficient with their time and skills, and use of your money. They are not forthcoming, and not willing to be honest. Check your invoice of services they ask money for that they give to your insurance company, make sure they do them or watch closely to make sure they don’t charge you for things not done.

Had a great experience all around with Restoration 1. They did what they said they were going to do, showed up on time, and communicated well. You can tell they have their ducks in a row. Definitely recommend Restoration 1 and will use again.

In September, the owner (Lance) did a walk through and quote for a basement remodel stating that it would be done by Thanksgiving. We’re now nearing the end of the year and the work isn’t even half done. Nobody has been here in nearly a month, and communication is extremely poor (usually won’t text, email or call back). Very unprofessional and would not recommend. Owner incorrectly states below everything we ordered was custom which is untrue...nearly all was selected from Home Depot or Lowe’s and should’ve been ordered months ago. They were paid to reinforce recently repaired deck and did a good job on that part of the project. He also indicates balance is unpaid...half was paid and the work isn’t half done. We would be crazy to pay the full balance and risk them never returning to finish the work.

Jake and his team were amazing. We have two dogs that were all over the place and the crew was great with them! After they sprayed to kill the mold, they locked up the area and told us to let it set. We did just that. However, when WE left, our dogs broke into the area and could not get back out. We called Jake after hours and he provided us with any and all information regarding the product, and even followed up later that night to make sure they were ok. Jake always called to give me time frames and also kept us informed of their process and what they were doing. I could not have asked for a better crew to help us when we needed it most!! Jake deserves a promotion!! 👍🏽 Thanks to Jake & his whole team for getting us through this challenging time.

We were in the process of selling a house right toward the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. After the buyers did the home inspection they wanted a few things taken care of. Crawlspace vapor barrier and venting and mold mitigation in the attic. We were very concerned about getting someone out to do the work with everything shutting down. To our surprise, they sent Mitch out within a day to go over our issues. He wore a mask and gloves and all precautions were followed. He was respectful and prompt and assured us it was not a big deal to get things done asap. All tasks were done within a week and we thought the price was very reasonable. Throughout our experience, everyone one was great to work with, Anita in the office, and Mitch, who did all the work, and the supervisor came out for the air quality control test. I would definitely recommend Restoration 1 and wouldnt hesitate to use them again in the future if needed.

Jake at Restoration 1 went above and beyond to ensure a very challenging set of circumstances due to a flooded kitchen was as painless as possible. He is incredibly polite and professional and was constantly providing updates, always on time, respectful of our property and pets and conscientious when it came to cleaning up and restoring our property. We cannot thank Jake and Restoration 1 for being the one bright spot during an unfortunate scenario.

I can’t say enough great things about the Restoration 1 team. Mitch and Trinity arrived within the hour of my water emergency call when the ice maker hose popped off the refrigerator and flooded my main level and basement. They stayed until well after midnight (6+ hours) and were back again the next day, and every day for two weeks. Mitch delivered on every promise, was kind and supportive at a time I really needed it. The quality of their work is excellent. I’m very pleased with the thorough restoration work and the house is ready for the reconstruction phase.Now that the rebuild is complete, I also want to compliment Restoration 1 on the great job that they did restoring my house! Mitch Rocks!Christmas Eve we broke a sewer pipe in the basement of our old historic house that was built in 1910 ... thanks to 21 guests flushing and showering non stop!We were desperate for help as the raw water filled the house. Mitch showed up in 30 minutes when other companies couldn’t be bothered. He cleaned up the mess and the plumber went to work with a roto rooter.Later, we discovered the rooter job hadn’t solved the problem and Mitch returned, free of charge and pumped us dry and retreated the sewage zone with fresh smelling cleaner.Mitch put my 88 year-old parents at ease with his professional estimate and positive attitude. They are supposed to be a one stop shop for restoration, but it is not the case. They dont communicate with each other. Ive asked for the plumbing report a half-dozen times. Weeks have gone by and I still dont have it. Three weeks is the timeline I was given on day one to have my basement useable again, but instead, I dont even have a quote for the rebuild, and no work beyond mitigation has been performed in almost a month. My insurance adjuster is upset because he cant process the claim, Im upset because I keep getting referred to someone different about everything, and no one follows through. If you want to have one contact point to manage your clean-up and rebuild, pick another company.Edit: they have been very responsive since the original review was posted, and have resolved the paperwork issues. Will edit again once rebuild is complete with final rating.

Mitch is THE best! We bought our first house not too long ago & had our first major issue last night. Mitch & his team came through & made this process stress free simple & so much easier than expected. He gave us 150% of his time & effort & when he left we knew we had definitely made the right choice & are so lucky to have him come to our house. Top notch outfit. Couldn’t be any happier. Approximately 3 1/2 - 4 weeks ago, my wife walked in from work and went into the living room and sat to great the pets, she hollered for me to come quickly. When I entered the living room she asked how long has it been raining. When I looked up water was dripping from large bubbles that had formed in the paint and water was cascading down off of the fan blades. About a week earlier I personally began a bath room renovation project. Took out the old double sink vanity to so I could start prepping everything. When I cut the water lines I thought I had all the valves turned off all the way. Well.......over those six days water was dripping from the master bedroom down to the living room. That’s where Restoration 1 enters the scene. Or I should say after Immediately I calling my homeowners insurance carrier, Progressive. The insurance adjuster called back with in minutes, of course told me that I was covered oh yahoo. I told me he was going to call call Restoration 1 unless I wanted someone else. That was my lucky day. Restoration 1 had just started covering Pueblo, CO which until then they were only in the Springs. Within an hour, the professionals from Restoration 1, were at my house and took over managing my disaster. Those folks are the real deal. They took control, explained in detail what they were going to do. It was my choice to call in any company I wanted to do Restoration work, I chose to use the same group which was definitely the right thing to do. From the beginning to the end, everyone involved in my project Jackie, Chad, Devon and others who’s names I just can’t remember were fantastic, and the results were outstanding, like new. Expert work. They were friendly, communicated with us every step of the way. Also, once all the paper work was completed they worked directly with my insurer, cutting out the middle man, me. I am just so impressed and can not say enough about this company.

Horrible company. Took them over 6 weeks to dry out my house from a sink leak. Another 7 months to semi complete the work. Damaged appliances in my home. Installed tile in my kitchen I. February, that is now cracking and breaking, and all the grout is coming out. If I could post pictures I would. Then they turned around and blamed me for the tile I picked out. I am not a tile expert, asked them they told me where to go and what to look for. Beware the will scam your insurance company for excessive charges. I will never work with them. I couldnt have been more satisfied. The best ever!!!I had a serious flood in my home around the 7th of August 2019. Called another well advertised company only to be told they could not come right away because it was Sunday and they had to round up personnel.I was stressed out already getting ready to leave town on a very necessary trip on the 9th of August. I called Restoration 1 they were there in less than an hour and started working on my home to get the water out. They assured me that if I could trust them they would take care of my home while I was away. I gave them the key and left. They answered after hours and scheduled us right away.Earl came out to do a free estimate and was prompt and efficient. We recieved an estimate the same day.Anita was amazing at getting us on the schedule right away and helping with payment and reports after the job was complete.Mitch and Nolan were absolutely amazing. Mitch called to let me know when they would arrive, walked me through the entire process of how they would make sure the job was done right, took pictures to attach to finished report, and made sure we didnt have any concerns before leaving. We recieved the finalized work report the same afternoon.I will 100% use them again without any hesitation. Heck of a team they have! Thanks for making it less stressful even during the holidays.

I would recommend this company to anyone! Mitch and his crew arrived to my home within the hour and practically ran in to help me. My husband is deployed, so I thought I would be restoring a flooded house alone, and he has proven me wrong! He has completely taken care of everything for me!! He handles all the phone calls, checks in daily and gives me updates, and even takes the time to break things down so I understand it all. Restoration1 did an outstanding job on removal of the damaged drywall and the toilet. They removed the bathroom vanity and repaired the ceilings and walls. They painted the new sheetrock and all the trim. They brought in excellent craftsman and serviced the ac/ heating unit. They had the floors sanded and finished. The project manager, Sam was great and oversaw all of the work. He exceeded my expectations by a lot and would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my neighbors.

My fathers insurance company recommended Restoration 1 and while the sewage cleanup and the drywall work was great, the service was not. I had to call multiple times to confirm when the work was actually going to get done . Also the certified plumber work was never done correctly. I had a licensed plumber and building inspector check the work twice and the caps for the plumbing and gas work just fell off. While they did remove the charges for the plumber after 2 attempts to correct the faulty work, in the end I got my own plumber for safety. I also found it very rude that while I had to call them or email several times a week to find out when they were ever going to finish the work, that they hounded us for payment every day after they said the work was completed. ( A check was mailed 2 days after the final work was inspected and approved) The lack of communication , the length of time it took to get the repairs done, and the fact that their plumber is no good- all made it a bad and exhausting experience.

Restoration 1 is Great! Mitch and Jackie got our project finished in a very timely manor. They were very punctual, friendly and seemed that they really enjoyed making my home a better place.

My wife and I feel fortunate to have found Restoration 1 and hired them to fix our property. We had extensive damage following a bad hail storm last June, (hailstones punched though the roof decking causing extensive damage), as of today the work has been completed after a relatively short project work period.The professionals with Restoration 1 have earned my future business, our house once again looks the same as it did before that catastrophic storm.
