I will not go back to this place. Maybe it’s just dumb luck, but a few days after I went here for an oil change the check engine came on and I’ve been chasing issues ever since. Was it just a coincidence that these issues popped up right after they worked on the car? It could be. I did contact them about the issue but they could only provide a quote to diagnose. I wished I would have read more reviews as there have been other similar experiences from others. Buyer beware, but I would stay away. I have a newer car that was serviced by the dealer prior to visiting Aspen auto clinic on Mark Dabling.

I have been bringing my work van here for over a year. Today I walked in to find Darren arguing on the phone with a customer saying they have skilled technicians, etc. and Michael the store manager ready to check me in. My experience went south from that point on. I asked home if he could put my oil sticker out to 4k miles since I get semi synthetic oil and my Ford van is approved to go out to 5k miles. He flat out said no. I was taken aback by that and asked why and he replied thats our policy and shrugged his shoulder. I of course said, Okay and went to sit down.Soon enough my oil change was finished and Michael let me know that the van also needed a transmission oil change and new spark plugs. I told him that I didnt want additional work done and I could ask one of my crew to replace the spark plugs when I was ready.When I went to pay for my oil change, he basically told me that if I only wanted an oil change that I should go elsewhere. Theyre a full service garage and that his technician are too skilled on bigger paying jobs (Im paraphrasing a bit with that part) and he doesnt like pulling them off those jobs for an oil change. Being a full service garage was their business model.I was so surprised at being told by a company that is in the service industry and one that I had been going to for years to go somewhere else that at first I didnt know what to say, but I found my voice! I expressed to Michael that I was shocked at being told to take my business elsewhere if all I wanted was an oil change and that Aspen Auto Clinic must be doing so well they can turn away paying customers. I respect having a business model, but if you do not want to do oil changes anymore, please tell that to a person when they call to make an appointment, not after we have given you our business yet again. We politely went back and forth on the topic of customer service and communication. In the end I walked away dismayed by such arrogant communication and knowing I would never take my business to another Aspen Auto Clinic nor would I recommend them to anyone again, not that they need customers apparently.

This location tried to rip me off! To be fair, the auto service was okay. I received a mailer offering a semi-synthetic oil change for $24.95...to include a visual inspection, tire rotation and tread check, courtesy fluid check, and brake check.The problem occurred when Darren sent me an invoice for twice the advertised price of the oil change and called me with an estimate to replace all 4 tires for approximately $1,200, a brake flush, and another fluid flush, of which I do not know the cost since I asked him to stop quoting me prices.I had explained to Michael upon check-in that I needed to know to which position he would be rotating a specific tire because it had been running low on air. I also wanted a quote on an AC recharge. When I was quoted about $250.00, I told him thanks, but Ill have to wait.Upon check-out, Darren told me that since I was looking for a cheap oil change, and couldnt afford the other services they offered, we are not a good fit. Excuse me? I clarified: were not a good fit because I am a single-income, Colorado Springs Teacher who cannot afford their prices. So, if I only wanted oil changes, I needed to go elsewhere.By the way, Aspen lied to me about needing 4 new tires. My tread was at 6 and 7/32, not 2/32 as Aspen had stated.

In more than 40 years, I have never had an experience like I did with Aspen Auto Clinic (Mark Dabling). The customer is clearly their critical focus, and quality service is their product. Maintenance, technical expertise, and repair are only a result of their commitment to the customer, the customers needs, and the customers challenges. I went in on a budget needing a passenger window replacement on my Jeep, and came out with a brand new sense of confidence in my go-to, daily use vehicle. Truth be told, I was actually just interested in getting the window fixed so I could trade it in for a new vehicle, but for the care, cost, and commitment from the Aspen Auto Team, I didnt have to go that route and am driving my Jeep like I just bought it. Im keeping my Jeep until the Aspen Auto Team tells me its time to give it up!. During the entire experience, I received follow-up phonecalls from the Lead Tech, Shop Manager, and also Managing Partner. Down the line, everyone knew what was going on with my vehicle, and every recommendation helped and was needed. They made every recommendation truly feel like a clear care for me and my Familys safety, as well as for how I could really extend the life of my Jeep. I can relate to any vehcile owner out there that worries about them or their Family-member going into a shop for a small fix and coming out with a large list of jobs and costs; thats been my nightmare for the last 40 years of taking my vehicles into anywhere, even just for an oil change. I will tell you, without a doubt, that never crossed my mind at Aspen Auto. Im happy with all the work done and am driving my Jeep around worry-free for the first time in a long time. Best of all, being a Family Man, the whole experience didnt kill our bank account. When you go in, ask for Michael; hell remember your first name the whole time, and everyone in that shop will make you feel special, not just for the service, but because they actually care and are different and for the entire experience. 10 stars if I could, and Ive found my repair shop for life. -AW

My truck blew a turbo hose while I was on my way to go camping. I was no where near my house and had to get my truck towed. Aspen was the only shop that was willing to take my truck in and look at it while other shops turned me away. When I got the truck to the shop Darren assured me that they would do their best to get the truck done by the time I had to head back to Aurora on monday. Monday morning Aspen messaged me that they had been able to diagnose the problem and that it would in fact be done by Monday and that I would be able to pick it up by the end of the day. The entire process was very professional and they made sure that they made me feel comfortable and worked around me while I was camping. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone looking for service no matter what the scope of work that needed to be done

They ripped me off big time. I paid $600 dollars for them just to do an inspection and not fix anything. I went there because my check engine light was on and the tires needed to be changed. I went to pick up my car and the engine light was off and the tire light was still on. A few moments later as I was driving home the engine light was on again. They told me it would be $500 more dollars for them to finish the job. Don’t be fooled by these people and find some place else to get your car fixed.

Ive been relying on the Mark Dabling Aspen Auto since I first arrived in the Springs and have never been disappointed. Theyve always gone out of their way to take care of me and the deals they offer are icing on the cake. They won my loyalty when I was a poor college student and so Im happy to travel halfway across the city to continue to receive their business. I highly recommend!

I WISH I wouldve trusted & seen Greg Walkers review before getting my car serviced here. I went in for an inspection because my check engine light was on & an oil change. I took it elsewhere few months ago since we are out of town & had inspected it no major issues. Today I received my car back with a new sound its never had & the main tech guy said oh its an old car. Really?? It didnt have this sound before. Which of course they said its worth taking a look at. How convenient for them. Absolutely ridiculousDont let them service your vehicle youll receive it in worse conditions. I cant believe this.

Aspen Auto has kept me updated with what needs to be done on my 10 year old Honda Civic. Just had a transmission flush and air filters done last week and due to perseverance on both our parts, they have corrected the strut mount that was making a noise when cold. The car still runs like a top!

I have mixed emotions. Not gonna lie....I will say that aspen does warranty their work for like 2 or 3 years, which in itself is amazing. However, u get what u pay for and I wish I had the money cus I would use them EVERY time. However, I cannot afford to do so. So to sum it all up, aspen automotive is awesome but not budget friendly.

I found it really odd that they diagnosed LAST minute a 600$ repair.  I dont understand why that specific repair wasnt diagnosed at the beginning! When i saw the first diagnostic report, there was NOTHING of that matter. And the very last minute when i showed up to pick up my car and pay for their work, he came asking me if there was anything else wrong with my car.  I had to argue with 2 of the mechanics there and they still didnt believe my car has NEVER had anything major done to it. After explaining and arguing with the manager and technician and seeing that the car did start with no issue, i asked to just pay and leave. To which they got offended, and immediately started telling me of stories of my alternator breaking down on the road. And as i was leaving after i payed, they also reiterating that they hoped i wouldnt be left along side the road!! That is messed up!!! I walked to the car, that the technician JUST PULLED UP WITH, got in and it DID NOT START!!! I had to call for a tow in which the manager had a nasty smirk on his face and asked is there anything wrong? I was sooo offended at his mannerisms that i will never ever ever recommend someone to come here. You deserve better treatment, not some egotistical manager that gets offended because i halted the work they wanted to continue doing THAT WAS NO DIAGNOSED AT THE BEGINNING. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!

First- we dropped car off to them at 10am- ish. It was diagnosed the day before somewhere else that couldnt get us a new starter. At around 1 we got diagnostics from them- 3 expected issues, my partner called to approve those repairs, which were 1009.00 total. Thats fine.Where we got messed up was at pickup. They asked us to come at closing. We arrive at 545pm. Go to the lounge, and wait until 6pm. Which is when the guy in the bandana shows up, lets us know itll be a few more minutes, everything is fine, the cars being finished up!- we can use Netflix but ya cant watch the Border show, if thats what youre looking for (my partner isnt Mexican and thats not what we were looking for, but yes, I really did immediately put on Spanish Netflix and started a pretty cool series anyway).615? Hes back. Instead of talking right away he sits down and looks at us like we are his children and he is very disappointed in us. Folds his arms and asks is there anything ELSE you want to tell me about your car??? No. We had all the things done you said we needed done. Well. Now it doesnt start.Well. That sounds like that shouldnt be happening since you diagnosed it, replaced fluid, replaced transmission pan, and put in a new starterYou either need a new battery or a new alternator and we tightened the belt (we did appreciate the belt tightening, not gonna lie.)We all go back and forth because theyve had this car all day and we have the diagnostics and a new alternator could really be a thing, but we dont trust their diagnostics after so many hours and money.Mechanic says he drove the car after repairs w a heavy electrical load- fans and lights, and the voltage was low and it cut out. He tests battery 2x in front of us, car starts, blah blah. Thats so weird! We want the car back.Suddenly we dont understand- I drove the car to test it with NO load no lights no fan and thats when it cut out and I really hope you make it home nowKeep in mind- the problem we went in for was fixed. Suddenly lights are all on, and the car no longer works. They ask if we have a jumper box because we can totally buy one from them. I ask if we need a new battery. Another test. Not a battery problem. Car starts AGAIN. We are next to car with these men with a running car. Bandana Guy accuses us of accusing him of lying. I point out that the story has changed a lot right in front of us so- (my partner is nicer than me and and asks for the car back) to which they respond with we just need to know what you want! As if we hadnt asked for this car back 4x already. No, we dont trust you, if we need a new alternator we will find out somewhere else, thank you for the work youve said you needed to do and did with our approval- but now our car has problems that it LITERALLY did not have before we saw you. We would just like the car back.CUE ANOTHER 5 MINUTES OF THIS BACK AND FORTH because my partner is a patient man.Well I certainly hope you make it home at this pointWe arent trying to screw you- this problem just started when you got here you must not have told us something and we are trying to help you be safe- are you sure you dont want to buy these things right now? Are you sure you want this car back right up until payment.The car is started AGAIN. Its brought to the front.I hope you all can make it home, hahaha!Dead car.All lights on.Nothing works.1009.00 later and repairs that were diagnosed, needed, and approved, and this car is worse than when we brought it in.We call insurance for tow. 5 minutes later, laughing, Bandana Guy appears to jump the battery with some jokes. Funny guy.Look. If we need an alternator just say that. Dont lie all day, lie to our faces 3x, get very nicely called out and then get weird. Not give us the car when we ask. Nicely, too.But yeah if you would like to get treated like garbage, made fun of for a possibly financially devastating car issue, pay for whatever they want, and get made fun of in a dead car in a hailstorm, go on into Aspen.

Problems with my engine sputtering. It was diagnosed at another repair shop as bad fuel pump delivery. Darren took the time to take me to the service shop to speak with the foreman after they looked at it.. The repair was explained and shown to me. It had a fouled module and not a fuel deliver problem. It was expensive, but then so was my german car. 3 weeks later and it is running great. This certainly is not a discount shop, but the level of knowledge was worth it. If you want cheap and cheaply done repairs, you should probably go elsewhere

Brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change (october 2020) they told me the heater hose was leaking. Quoted me $450. The car did not display any issues prior to me taking it to them. 30 minutes after I left from my oil change I was on the interstate and the car had leaked all coolant and was smoking. Had my vehicle towed to founding fathers. They told me it needed a thermostat housing replacement. $230 fix. That was almost 3 months ago. The manager Sherri was very respectful during my visit at Aspen auto clinic. Unfortunately the distrust I have with this company is too severe to continue doing business. I suggest you take your vehicle somewhere local and trustworthy.

Great experience at Aspen Auto Clinic. Very knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to the brake system on a Jeep Wrangler. Repairs were done the same day. The use of Uber/Lyft to provide transportation from and to the shop is a real plus for Aspen Auto Clinic. Highly recommended.

Darren was very courteous throughout the whole process.My technician was Ryan Morrison. While I only had one short encounter with him, I could tell he was very knowledgeable about my vehicle and was confident about the repair.I highly recommend this Aspen location and will bring my vehicle here again if the repair is beyond my capabilities.

So I love this location, Ive taken my cars here for years.But honestly? I cant ever recall a single trip they didnt try to upsell. Its always something.its been 5000 miles since your last oil change we need to flush the system its been 5000 miles since you put in fully synthetic which you said 10000 miles at the time. excuse me?We are running a special on tires and yours are at 4/32 and should be replaced my tires are 2 montha old and are at 3x that tread, I checked 4 days earlier.I have NEVER been here without issue, and bear in mind I manage a fleet, so Aspen Auto (springs and denver) see about a vehicle a week from me. EVERY location upsells EVERY time. But, if you ignore that, they are in every other way ideal.Kind, prompt service.Fast and reliable.Honest prices, bulk discounts.Great drinks.

I took advantage of the very generous offer they had for free oil change for healthcare workers. They were super communicative, very professional, and even rotated tires for free. One thing that sets them apart that I loved was that after the service, I received a link for the full vehicle report WITH photos of everything they checked out. Aspen is always able to get you in quick, thats for sure. They act very professional, and given a thorough appearance. BUT Ive taken 2 different vehicles in and have been very disappointed.First was a Tacoma truck with 150k miles on it. Sure its not new but runs great. They found 14 thousand dollars in needed repairs and said my truck wasnt worth its price anymore. 18 months later I havent had one issue, and most other shops quoted me cheaper.Next I took a vehicle in for an oil change and a diagnostic. Car sounded fine before the oil change, just finished a 3k mile roadtrip with 0 issues. When the car was returned it had a noticable new sound , which we were told was an exhaust leak. Well we didnt have the leak before it got dropped off??? But they said our cars old that stuff happens well at 85k miles who cares what year it is. Thats not that old. They refuse to own fault but will gladly charge to fix it. Weird....Thanks again guys, will not be back

The staff at Aspen Auto are friendly, honest, and helpful, and they did a courtesy inspection on my car which was very nice. However, the price they quoted me for service was about $200 more than the dealer, where I ended up having the service done as a result. Given my positive experience, I will consider coming back to Aspen Auto for future routine maintenance if the price is right.

I had my sons car towed here after it broke down a few blocks away and Im so glad I did. The other business nearby wouldnt even look at my sons car for a few days; Aspen looked at it same day and called and walked me through the (many issue) issues and options. Ultimately we decided not to have it fixed because the cost would exceed the value of the car. Aspen charged us nothing for looking at it and helped us find a company to help us salvage the car. I would 100pct go to them again.

At best the mechanics here are incompetent and lazy. It goes against my nature to outright accuse someone of lying, but that seems to be what happened to me here.They claimed to have found metal shards in my fuel system and told me the only option was a repair that would have been the same price we spent on the van in the first place. I thought we were going to have to sell the van, made all the more difficult because it no longer started (which they claimed was due to the damage they observed).However, on a whim we took it to a different shop and found out that not only was there zero evidence of metal shards, not only would the repair cost less than 1/5 their quoted amount, but that the reason it no longer started was because they had reassembled it poorly and lazily.The one thing they did excel at was making sure we paid their exorbitant diagnostic fee (which ended up being completely useless in the first place). Perhaps they feel its reasonable to try to take advantage of helpless people during a national crisis. Perhaps, if you bring your vehicle here, theyll do the same thing to you.Skip this shop, I cant speak for the other Aspen Auto Care shops, but skip this one. Because like I said, the best case scenario is they are lazy, incompetent, fools who will make matters worse. At worse they are vultures that will screw you over to line their pockets.

I called around and this place worked to fit me into their busy schedule, ordered an uber to work for me, and then made arrangements to take my payment and leave my car accessible for when I got back from work. Every business should take the time and effort that Aspen Auto does for its customers.I recently acquired a used range rover sport. These vehicles are notorious for being luxury with a steep price. There is no high pressure sales, there is never any rush to make a decision, and they are in the business to serve the vehicle and customer best. Erick and Aspen on union were very up front and transparent about their process of inspection, the cost, and the attention to detail they have as a company. Obviously they found multiple issues with my vehicle but provided a full list of green, yellow, and red issues. Then explained clearly any issues that were deemed a safety concern.I had my oil changed and received the report and will be scheduling the most important item first.They also paid for my uber to and from work so there was no inconvenience for them keeping my car.They have both a print out and a lo file personalized car health report that show and document all work performed*with pictures.As a car owner, as a father, as a consumer you should never expect to receive the cheapest items... you should demand respect, transparency, service, and honesty.ASPEN AUTO CLINIC HITS ALL MARKS

The very first time I went here, Aspen’s customer service was great! They have a nice waiting room and helped offer for a ride if need be. They fixed my car so it is up to par on everything. I also enjoyed their updates through text and their website with your car diagnostics. My very first visit was great, I’m not sure who the guy was that helped me but I want to say it was Bob.Recently I went twice and I did not appreciate the new peoples, customer service. I don’t recognize anyone from the first time I went. They used to accommodate me or offer rides. And they didn’t even do that. I dropped my car off, on Friday at 8:30a, for an oil change and a light to be fixed they had my car all day. I had to call at 5:30p to see what the status was. At 5:45p, I got a call from the tech who explained to me that my car was done and was just parked in the parking lot for me, I picked it up as soon as I could get a ride.I went in again this Tuesday, with my husband‘s truck to get an oil change and they asked me to come in before six to pick up my vehicle since they close at that time.The problem I have is that nobody tried to call me to tell me when my car was ready the week before or to tell me the status till I called (before they closed).Since my last two experiences with them. Not calling to keep me informed about my car or offering a ride (like they used to) and being rude towards me, I decided I’m never going back.

I had seen Aspens ads on TV. Toyota had told me that I was going to need new brakes, so I wanted to get a second opinion. I did need front brakes & rotors. Aspen was $115 less than what I had been quoted at Toyota. Aspen also provided a 3 year warranty. Im very pleased with Aspen Auto Clinic and would highly recommend this company.

Everyone at Aspen went out of their way to be extremely courteous and attentive to my needs. Aspen even provided a Lyft ride to my work after I dropped off my car. The service was completed exactly as promised and cost less than I had expected from googling approximate costs. I have been looking a long time for an automotive shop I can trust. I made an appointment online for just an oil change and when I showed up they tell me their computer is not tied in to their online appointments (their problem, they should fix) told me they could not get me in until next week, for an OIL CHANGE!!Im on a road trip and all I needed was an oil change they made no attempt to accommodate me which is bad especially considering its their appointment screen thats the problem. Based on my limited experience I cannot recommend this place terrible customer service!!

I would rate lower then 1 star if I could. This place cost way too much. The staff ate unprofessional and rude. Tried to say my car was stolen. My husband took the dashboard apart to fix the issues himself and had not put it back together. We told thw shop what the issue was and blown off. Wanted $400 to diagnose the problem before fixing anything. Better off calling a mobile mechanic.

Was able to promptly get us in for a vehiclepre-purchase inspection at a very good quoted price, and very early in the process saved us from a poor purchase. They were honest and so helpful. It was after 4 pm Monday when I discovered that the neighbor would need to use his jumper cables to start my car! I phoned Aspen to see if they could determine the cause of my car’s dead battery. I went to the shop and the battery itself was dead. I appreciated their installing a new battery but am sorry to say that the $50 coupon was at home & wouldn’t be applied to my $365 bill even though I’d said I had a coupon before I left the shop. Somehow, for a bill that high, it was disappointing that a long-time customer would not be accommodated.

These people are wonderful and very kind people. I will be using them again! These guys are awesome! After receiving a quote for a repair from the dealership I went to Aspen for a second opinion. Turned out the dealership misdiagnosed the problem and would have charged twice what the repair cost us at Aspen. The fact that their work is warranted shows the quality of their work. They also provided us with an Uber ride home while our vehicle was being repaired. I highly recommend giving Aspen a try.

I had a problem with the diesel emission components of my camping van. Their expertise was important as they quickly determined the cause of the problem. I was especially impressed that they asked me questions that were useful in assessing the problem.It took time to receive parts and the shop is not open on Saturdays. Diagnostic complete mid-afternoon Friday. Repair complete by noon on Monday. Great customer service!

Nate, the shop manager, might possibly be the best car mechanic Ive ever interacted with. Heres my situation, med student with a broken down vehicle during a road-trip and limited funds to work with in general. In order to save me money, he helped figure out what absolutely needed to be done now for the vehicle to safely run and get me home as well as other things that I think best to leave up to him to tell. He was easy to work with, empathetic, and clearly went above and beyond to help me get home. USAA Roadside Assistance told me they were their highest rated shop in the area and to choose them. Im definitely glad I did.

My car would not start, so they were able to come tow the car. And they did a diagnostic. Throughout the whole process of getting my car fixed they stayed in contact with me. Offered to text if that was more accessible for me. Overall they made sure I was well aware of everything. They offer great service and I would recommend to anyone.

I had some issues with my vehicle that my regular mechanic could not fix, so I gave this place a try. The waiting room is phenomenal and the staff is polite and very courteous. I heard of some people getting a free diagnostic inspection of your vehicle in order for Aspen to ascertain the problem and fix your vehicle. I was offered no such service. The diagnostic I was charged for was a little higher than the average in the area and the amount would not go toward repairs. Secondly, I was told additional repairs were required than what was reported by my trusted mechanic. The urgency of these additional repairs were iterated repeatedly. I gave the go ahead, then after some additional research canceled the request the same day, within the hour. I was charged the cost of diagnostic plus two additional fees. They preach service to veterans but when I paid in uniform, I was offered no discount.The management knows what they are doing here, no qualms. If you want to save money and still get great service, there are dozens of places I can recommend. Aspen Auto is not one of them.

My first time with Aspen Auto Clinic, Jet Stream. Visiting my daughter who recommended them. I sailed in from Western Slope after being left roadside with dead battery & got it jump started but didnt dare turn it off. They were SO helpful, professional, courteous, transparent with pricing, communicative, & timely. Incredibly impressed with the pleasant, clean waiting room!! Loved the online overall check list rating idea. If I lived here, I would use them, for sure, but its nice to know theyre here should I need them again in an emergency.

This place is incredible! Ended up having my Jeep towed here for overheating. Called several shops who couldn’t help me for several days. I called Diane and she got me right in. While they were inspecting it I ended buying a new car and trading my Jeep in. I called to let them know, and offered to have the inspection paid for, they told me I owed them nothing. Diane was so nice she gave me advice on GAP insurance and told me that she used to work at a dealership and could answer any questions that I had. All this great service, and I didn’t even pay them a penny. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a mechanic with great customer service. Any needs I have with my new car I’ll be sure to bring to them.

I had an issue with the clutch, and was referred to Aspen Auto. They said it needed a new master cylinder and slave cylinder and that it may need a new clutch. The clutch was in tact and they only fixed the cylinders. They could have said it needed more work than it did and gotten away with it, but they didn’t and we’re honest. They did a thorough inspection and let me know about what needs work and what issues the car has. I am very happy with my service and will go there from now on.

I feel so relieved from stress every time I come here. I sometimes manifest the noises I hear in my car. Aspen auto clinic gives me a peace mind. The noises I heard were right! They were coming from the differentials. However my mechanic Was so knowledgeable we were able to estimate how long the Bearings inside the differential would last. Giving me the peace of mind. Now I will save up so I can get this fixed down the road and I will let them take care of it. There’s been other incidents were aspen auto clinic saved my life but I’ll write that in another review. I left that day with a game plan to prepare and save. they didn’t take a cent for my pocket either.!

Outstanding service, friendly staff and best-of-breed knowledge and experience levels are on display at every visit. I am a loyal customer now, having defected from the dealer-knows-best herd. Byron, the incredibly-knowledgeable mechanic servicing my BMW, fixed a major problem with my engine by *correctly* diagnosing the root cause as a pair of vacuum lines -- *not* the replacement of my cars two turbos, as the dealers service staff had recommended. Byrons wisdom, experience and forensic acumen saved me roughly $7K in needless repairs. Total bill: a little over $300. Without question, my expensive service days with the dealer are over: Aspen is my BFF go-to from now on!
