This is always my go to auto shop. They are professionals and have great customer service. They make you feel welcome and if Im not sure of something they take the time to dumb it down for me so I understand why I am getting this service done. If you say no its not constant banter back and forth. They say okay and let you get the services you want. My opinion best place in Colorado Springs!!

I went and saw Jerry with Service Street auto repair. Jerry took the time to listen to my concerns, and fixed the issues/routine maintenance, along with addressing issues/concerns in the future going forward. Will definitely be back to deal with Jerry and his crew! Very prompt, and respectful team.

Every guy in there is kind, has a great attitude and is very professional. Their mechanics did a great job and they all care about making sure they take care of your original complaint. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are fair with their prices, but not a particularly great deal. Overall, however, I trust them to get it done right! Thanks service street!

I have been to Service Street twice now and each time they have been incredibly helpful and call as soon as they know what is going on with my vehicle. Found this place online and gave it a go since it had good reviews. I am going on a long trip and wanted to get my car checked. I don’t know much about cars, so I was extremely relieved to find from the first phone call to picking up my car that everyone was kind, patient, professional, and explained everything in detail of why they recommended certain fixes. It’s definitely a load off my mind to have my car ready to go!

The Service Street team was very professional and quick to address our repair needs. I appreciated their no-pressure approach in recommending future service issues. Great customer service but not not so great prices. Tried to charge me 2000 for something I got for 600 down the street. Also their free engine light coupon didnt include that they would charge me 150 in labor......didnt know labor to read a computer would cost that much makes me think Im in the wrong field🤔🤔🤔

I went in to get my fuel filters done and when they finished it t was almost $600.00. After the fact I called around and all the shops quoted me $300.00. Dont go there they willrip you off, if they havent yet they will eventually.I definitely wont be back.

Fast friendly service for sure. Did not like how when I picked up my vehicle there where notes saying I had a leak and that I denied the service when no one had even spoken to me about it. I would change this practice but other then that always a good place.

Little frustrated with how long it took. Why have the appointment website if you dont use it? Still like and recommend this place, but it was a lot more organized and efficient before COVID when the appointments actually meant something. Do good work, but there is a reason I made an appointment and needed my truck back at specific time. Nothing being done was more than routine maintenance, not repairs. I will continue to use them, but please start using the appointments the way you used to.

Confidently assured me that my clutch was definitely broken and definitely needed to be replaced while they assured me the master cylinder was likely not the issue.Master cylinder was definitely the issue once car was taken to another mechanic. Clutch feels now feels perfect.

Brought my vehicle here, was charged $165 (pre-tax) just to look at it and was quoted over $500 for the fix. It seemed a bit crazy so I called around for quotes and Christian Brothers did the work for $168 (tax included).It costs more for my car to be looked at by Service Street than to be fixed elsewhere.Service was great, but way too expensive.

Both Rick and Nate were excellent to work with. The business went the extra effort to locate a new radiator for us when one did not exist in the springs. Everyone there was very professional, honest and great to work with. ..

The entire staff was knowledgeable and courteous from the beginning. They even fought for me with my warranty company. My truck needed an engine replacement and initially it was going to take 3-4 weeks for the replacement engine to come in. They were able to get it in under a weeks time! Im back on the road and extremely happy!

Tried to up charge me on parts that was quite impressive actually. I really hope that doesn’t happen to most people. I called them out on it and they relied pretty heavily on there warranty gig which isn’t that great if you read it. Ended up going somewhere else and got more work done then quoted by these guys and $1000 cheaper. And still using oem parts. Not honourable way of business. They wouldn’t even give me the parts number they were using because they said our system doesn’t use specific part numbers?

Did amazing job aligning my truck just seemed to take a good while

Paid 200 dollars for the AC service. Was told both hoses needed replacement for about 600 dollars. Didnt seem right so I took it to another place who then determined that there was absolutely no leak. Dont know if they are untrustable or just dont know what theyre doing but I would highly recommend finding another shop.

The people are nice but they wanted to charge way too much and they told me it’d take three hours. Found a mobile mechanic who did the repair for half the cost and did it in one hour.

I was having issues with my acceleration and they were trying to say that I needed all this work and was trying to charge me way to much. I took it to a different mechanic and they said that I had none of the issues that service street was trying to have me do on my car. I almost spent over 3,500 on something that should’ve only cost me about 300.

Horrible service. We had our clutch put in a few months ago here and it has already failed and in need of replacement. The staff said that our vehicle was not in the system. We showed them proof of their worker putting in the clutch here and they said, too bad its not in our system so we cant help you, our worker pocketed lots of money from jobs that werent added to the system correctly.. They then proceeded to quote us $2,000 to fix it How is that ok for them to do? Very very unprofessional. I texted the person who did the work and their reply is in the picture I posted. DONT GO HERE

I have had good experiences here in the past. This time they said the diagnosed the problem and quoted me a price. Then call back and tell me its going to be 2000 vs the original quote of 300. Will not be going back.

Had an overall good experience. Staff was friendly and did a good job explaining what needed to be done on my car. I definitely could tell a difference when driving my car home. They also have a great deal where you buy several oil changes in advance which includes tire rotation. Ill definitely be going back there again.

They over charge on labor, and charge almost double for their work. You need to shop around before you use them. Just to change 6 spark plugs would cost just 350 dollars, thats if I use my own plugs. Lol RIP OFF

The guys were very nice, I was told I had a possible oil leak when I was checking out. Would have liked to know about it before hand to be given the option to have it taken care of same day. Other than that good experience. I will go back.

Excellent service by an excellent and timely staff.

Well, where do I start. I had them do an oil change back in December. They were friendly and professional. However, the oil filter they installed was faulty and leaked. They replaced it, free of charge and I was happy. Cool. So yesterday when I heard I a noise on my Pathfinder, I immediately called them and they made room in the bay for me to bring it in. I had no issues with them until they told me what was wrong. They told me my left rear wheel bearing is needing replaced and that my viscous coupler/differential is needing to be replaced as well. The differential new is 3500 and if a rebuild is purchased is 1500, not including labor. After having a brief panic attack at the numbers, I called the dealership and scheduled an appointment for a diagnostic. Yes, Service Street was correct about the rear wheel bearing, but they were full of bullsh&t when it comes to the viscous coupler and differential. These guys tried to pull a fast one on me and I suspect they use their charm and professionalism to pull as many scams as they can on other unsuspecting individuals who trust them. They are an eye sore and blight of their industry. I highly recommend you DO NOT USE THEM. If you do, get a second opinion or else you will be forking out money for UNESSECARY repairs.

Our car was slowly leaking antifreeze, and we couldnt figure out what was causing it. I called this location and spoke with Nathan who said we could drop the car off at any time and they would figure out what was causing the leak and call us before any service was started. We dropped it off Thursday evening at 630, on Friday morning at 9Nathan called to let me know what was going on. He explained the work needed to fix the issue, suggested a few things that he said could also use some attention and said he could have it all done by the afternoon.At 2pm the car was finished and ready to be picked up. These are good guys who do a good job in a speedy manner. Very friendly, very professional! The guy at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful.Thanks guys, for the speedy repair and for working during a pandemic. :)

Got an oil change yesterday. It appears either they dumped the filter in the debris shield or just missed the hole while refilling. I now have a huge oil stain in my driveway. It’s still dripping out so wherever I park is leaving a mess. Terrible.

They played the bs game and wont give a quote on a break job cause they want to get it apart and make you pay more. I would not recommend this place. Dont let them play with you, quoting a break job on one axle is easy I have two already, your loss.

They “highly recommended” a service that I had just done and knew the car didn’t need so watch out for that scam and get a second opinion for any work needed BUT good customer service.

I felt they were honest and did a great job communicating the necessary repairs and finishing the job in a timely manner. 100% would use them again!

I called Saturday afternoon thinking I wouldn’t be able to get my car in till during the week! They told me go ahead and bring it in now if you have the chance! They performed the diagnostic within minutes! Car was fixed within a few hours!!! So excited I thought I would be out of a car for at least a a week! Thank you for your speedy service! Workers were super friendly. Giving 3 stars because it took almost all day to finish work on my car and because it seemed overpriced. Went in for an alignment and check engine light at 7:30 am and it wasn’t done until 6:30 pm. I think it was a bit overpriced too, but I don’t know much about cars and this was my first time taking my car in to a shop in Colorado Springs. The alignment was a reasonable price just the diagnostic test seemed a bit high. I am thankful that Service Street paid for my Lyft to and from my house while they worked on my car. I would recommend getting quotes from other places in town before coming here.

So I went in for an oil change and that went great but I asked about getting an alignment. I knew I needed because it pulls to the right. I told them that and they put it up in the air and had me come out and explained that my lower ball joint was shot and needed replaced. in the meantime I looked up the average price of ball joint replacement on autorepair.com which said it would average about 350- 650 dollars. The part is between 65 and 88 for my exact make and model and year truck. (I work at OReillys and was wearing an OReillys hat!) Their manager takes me to the computer and tell me you cant remove the ball joints from the control arm and I need to buy the control arm and ball joint and with the complete service it would be over 900 dollars!! So I paid for my oil change and left. I will be using Jacks Alignment Service in Colorado Springs. Thanks anyway

Thought we had a leak, turned out to just be normal condensation from the AC - they were direct with us about the cause and very quick.

I had just bought a commuter car for cheap and it had a toggle switch to disable the ignition. I had never heard or seen such a switch so when I accidentally hit the switch getting out I had no idea what could have happened, I left my car overnight at kum and go. The next morning I pushed it over to this shop hoping they could find out what the issue was. They did! They found the switch and didnt charge me for their time. I am very appreciative to them and recommend getting work done here. Honest genuine group of knowledgeable people.

If I could have set this review to zero stars I would have. Last Monday- I brought my truck in for an air conditioning repair. Nathan from the shop said it was not a problem and that they could install the conversion kit the next morning. He explained that this would be an easy fix- told me that once they installed the kit they would then pressurize the system, look for leaks and if they didn’t find any leaks- charge refrigerant on the vehicle. He quoted me $155 for this work.DAY2: Fast forward to the next day- not a word from the shop. I called at 3:45 to see if there was an update since Nathan said they would have it done that morning. I called and spoke to another person from the shop- He said they had not even looked at my vehicle. It would have been nice to know that, since I was out a car that entire day. Now I would have to be out a vehicle for a second day. I said okay- that’s fine I guess.DAY 3: around 2:00 I got a call from the shop saying there were bigger issues going on with the a/c. Issues equalling the amount of $1100 to repair. Shocked and disgusted by this number- I immediately told them to stop ALL work on my vehicle. They did inform me that I was still going to have to pay $381.Please keep in mind this was for a repair I was originally quoted $155 on. The receipt showed how much they charged for the conversion kit - their price $83.29 at Advanced Auto Parts it costs $12.Here’s the ticker: Their overcharge and huge mistake in the receipt was where they are changing me for R134a refrigerant knowing that you cannot pressurize the system with refrigerant to look for leaks. It’s illegal to release this into the atmosphere. So they either released this illegally into the atmosphere or they wrongfully charged me without doing this (HEPA208-209).After all this- I went to another shop where they were able to fix it for way less. And informed me that I was defiantly being taken advantage of by this place. Untrustworthy- and they will be hearing from me. DO NOT take you vehicle to this place!

This is the first place I have gone to in a long time that I actually felt like I was treated with value. Jo was wonderful and explained things to me as they were found and her concern for my safety was evident in how she helped me. The technicians were also willing to help me understand what was going on with my car and took great care of it.

The employees were fantastic. Very friendly. However, the cost to repair my battery was $250. I wish I would have known that my battery was $209. I would have shopped around. I wasn’t told the final price until it was time to pay. I was expecting a price around $150, not $250.

This shop gave me the typical we can get it done quick run-around that Im familiar with at chain shops. You can read about this in other Google reviews for this shop.They also tried to upcharge me like crazy.I called a few auto shops because I needed a service done ASAP due to an unexpected emergency.I called the evening before my trip, right before closing, and asked if they could finish the service sometime the next morning before noon. He sounded very confident that it wouldnt be a problem and told me they could give me an estimate that night if I took my car in for an inspection. I asked, Are you sure its not too late if I come right now? You can get me an estimate tonight? He said definitely. I was already on my way and arrived 10 minutes later.When I got there he said there was no way tonight, so close to closing time (same person I spoke to on the phone). He asked me to leave it for the night. I asked again if they could finish the service in the morning. He said no problem as long as nothing breaks.In the morning he called me and quoted me $2800 for a service that would be around $1,000 at other shops I called. Almost 3 times the price, for a routine service.But I came to this shop because they said they could get it done in the morning. He also told me they couldnt give an estimate on this routine service without getting the car in the shop overnight. This was oil, transmission, differential oil change and timing belt and water pump change.I asked to cancel the timing belt change because it was too expensive. But because they tried to over-charge me so much, he said hed work some magic and get back to me with a better price.His better price was a lot cheaper, but nothing close to the competition. I took off the timing belt service and kept just the transmission and differential fluid changes.It was already there, and I knew for sure that if they could get the full service done before noon, they should have no problem with the fluid changes.Nope.Not only did they take almost all day to change the fluids, but they never updated me to let me know there was a delay. This, despite telling him several times that I had an urgent trip and I needed to leave town by noon. Yep, no problem.So I called just before noon for an update. I was told, We have the fluids drained and were ready to put them back in and well have you out of here.About 4 hours later, after they said they were about done, they were finally ready to charge me for their poor service. I picked up my car and still, no explanation was given.And as usual, shady Nathan avoided eye contact with me.Watch him as his eyes dart around as he tells you exactly what you want to hear. Youll get a few split-seconds of eye contact and then his eyes go back to looking busy with whatever computer, paper, or object he can use to avoid looking at you. When I first saw this I thought, Maybe hes just shy. Hes probably not a manipulative person. He seems nice.And besides, I was desperate.He speaks really nicely though. He seems so kind and eager to take care of you. It sells.

Ive been here twice now. First time for an oil change which was great. However, they recommended a $500.00 60,000 service none of which is recommended by Audi. Then I had my brakes inspected and they told me I had $3500.00 of work needing done. I went to Audi and they told me nothing needed repaired. So I recommend not going to this place.

How Many Service Street Mechanics Does it Take to Change a Lightbulb?UPDATE: I went back because my VSA light would not turn off after I picked it up (it has never been on before) and the manager gave me a full refund (even though he couldnt figure out why either). After I got home, though, I realized that they hadnt even changed the bulb for the headlight that I originally went in to have replaced. Like there was literally NO BULB in there at all. They just took the old one out and charged me. Truly worried about the level of cluelessness of this place. DO NOT GO HERE.ORIGINAL POST: I paid $200 for them to change one bulb for a headlight and run the code for my check engine light which they ended up just clearing. They left their garbage for their lunch (that they apparently used my vehicle to go get according to gas usage) in my car. During a pandemic. Will never recommend this to anyone. Disgusting.

I called this shop yesterday 8/31/20 and asked if they could take a look at wipers. The motor was not working. I had figured with everything going on I would have to make a appointment but to my surprise they said bring it in now so just living down the street I brought it in within 10 minutes. I have a extended warranty on the vehicle that covers the wiper motors. They daigonosed it as being a bad motor and said no big deal they could get it done by the time they close at 7 I dropped the truck off just after 3 p.m. I arrive back at the shop about 645 and they are still working on my truck . First thing I notice is they have the metal wipers sitting on the roof of my truck no protection .. whatever I talk to nate and he tells me hes not sure of they can give me my truck back because they havent received payment from the warranty company which was not ok Because I need to work in the morning... They continue to work on the truck even after 7 they cant get my wipers to work . Easy job I guess it wasnt. In my 1 hour I observe a few things Im unhappy with which included them dropping there impact screw gun on my hood .yanking the hell out of my wipers and visibiliy frustrated because closing time was passed.. it was at 8 pm I get my truck and told come tommorow and we will fix it.. getting my truck back I have my wiper blades broken ..the snap on cover piece on the wiper missing missing plastic anchors in the window cal broken and not properly installed and most importantly the wipers in worse shape then I brought to them... This shop sucks and so does Nate with his nonchalant ( we will fix it) no worries . No thanks Ill take it to someone who knows what there doing the first time. Save your self time and go somewhere else

I used to feel pretty comfortable bringing my car here. After the two most recent services however my feelings have done a complete 180. I almost lost my front right wheel driving yesterday because the lug nuts were not correctly torqued down. Imagine going to this place for a simple oil change and tire rotation then leaving and your wheels just falling off. A simple maintenance at this shop can become over thousands of dollars of work and it has happened to me twice. I will never return to the shop and I hope others can learn from my mistakes.

Great experience here. I snapped the drain plug while changing my oil at home. Brought it here where they extracted the bolt, changed the oil, and replaced the bolt all at the price of an oil change.

I used to go to them pretty often for my oil changes and a couple other issues. They were close by, convenient, maybe a bit over priced, but still a nice enough staff. But my last trip I was just so put off by the fact that when they quoted me at $1200 for a repair, the same guy also told me I shouldnt take my car to another shop to get a another opinion/quote because you need to stick with an auto shop you trust. Yeah, I decided I didnt trust theyre opinion anymore.

Really awesome customer service, they were fast with my oil change. But I got an estimate for a few things that needed done to my vehicle and it was very over priced. I got 2 other estimates in town that were almost 1,000 less. Always make sure to shop around. But for an oil change they were cool

I like the people but I just never felt like I could quite trust them. They dont do a great job at explaining why they want to do a certain repair and what they discovered after doing a diagnosis. I would appreciate some sort of diagnosis spreadsheet that shows what they went through and what they discovered. You would also have a phone call with whoever did the diagnosis so you can better understand the issue. I would also appreciate it if they were more reluctant when it came to suggesting throwing parts at problems, especially when they are not certain it will fix the issue.
