I made an online reservation 2 weeks before our scheduled flight. Since we drive a truck, I made sure to communicate with Midway Park Saver via an e-mail, explaining how a reservation was made & I wanted to ensure wed have a reserved truck space on our travel day.A Cathy replied with the dimensions of a truck that fits their spaces, and I replied stating we met their criteria. On our travel day, we pulled up to the midway park saver employee shack, and were immediately told we must park elsewhere, as there is no more truck space in their lot. Looking ahead-to the right-there were still several open truck spaces at the 7:00 am hour.I told the worker I had a reservation, and how I spoke with a Cathy via an e-mail several weeks prior, confirming Id have a space to park. The worker reiterated it didnt matter if I had a reservation OR that I communicated with Cathy; the boss stated they would no longer accept trucks and I have to find parking elsewhere. That is not good customer service OR good business. I will NEVER park there again, even if they offered free parking.I have also spread the word to my coworkers & relatives about their bad business practices and indifference to customers.I understand how a lot can become full; however, with online reservations, it is a businesses responsibility to communicate with their customers either via e-mail or phone. They request both pieces of information from us, so why not use it.

This parking lot is the best. It seems less stressful to park here and its always a very smooth process. Its a very long lot, but theres a shuttle that will drive you to the front. Every time Ive parked, the shuttle is at my car in seconds - most times before Im even out of my car! Once leaving the lot, you enter the CTA orange line station and its about a 10 minute walk through a skyway to get to the terminal. I personally dont mind the walk before a flight. The workers are very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Good cheap parking. You can usually get a deal by booking ahead and PRINTING the booking out.The parking lot is long, so if youre parking near the back, the walk may not be as short as youd expect. Dont worry if youre carrying luggage, theyve got a shuttle to help with that.No covered spots, but great if youre heading out of Chicago for a few days.

This was a convenient and easy parking alternative to the high priced parking. Once we parked our vehicle, a shuttle was immediately there to take our family of 4 and all of our luggage to the front door f the property. We then took a quick walk across the street to enter the terminal. When we got back one week later a shuttle again took us to our vehicle which was safe and sound as we had left it.Would highly recommend and use them again!

We have been parking here for 10+ years and loved it. The previous time we arrived, there were small signs about not allowing pick-up trucks. Yet, when we arrived and showed our reservation, they directed us to a side lot and we were never questioned about having a truck. So we figured the notices were for those without reservations. Yet, when we pulled up for our latest flight, the No Pickup Truck signs were huge. We started to become concerned, but we had made the reservation and there was nothing on the website or reservation about limiting trucks. We were told they were full, that they only accepted 12 trucks, and that the reservation only reserved the discounted rate, and not a parking spot. When we explained that there was no communication prior to indicate this new rule, the worker shrugged and said they have asked for it to go on the website. We were told to go elsewhere...and we did...and we will not go back.

I wish I discovered this place a lot earlier: convenient & economical. Now, I will not park there anymore due to new job transfer. What I really liked about this place is you only pay for the hours you park & they pro-rate on 24-hr daily basis. In all other parking places nationwide, if you are 1, 2 hours past the daily clock, they round up to make you pay another day; but not this place. The walk to the terminal can be challenging while dragging your luggage (at least 10 - 15 min if you are healthy). I do not recommend any man/ woman over 55 to make that walk unless you have no luggage. I had a clunker car; so nobody bothers my car. If you have a fancy car, I suggest to find a spot closer to the attendant booth (if available) or leave all valuables out of sight. Shuttle normally not available late night or early morning. So, I just walked (faster than wait for the shuttle)

Michael Spikes review hit the nail on the head, and I wont repeat his comments here. I would say that this is very convenient if you are relatively mobile on foot. Its nice knowing that you dont have to wait for anyone (shuttle, cab, or whatever) to park your car and go to the terminal, or vice-versa, especially late at night or very early in the morning when ground transportation services are low ebb. If you are not particularly mobile, you would be advised to use the airports regular parking facilities even though they cost more. The only other downside is that your car will be exposed to the elements. But, you get what you pay for, and this place is relatively inexpensive.

Was very disappointed! If I can give 0 stars I would. First, I was extremely happy about the price when I booked online. Thought to myself, “ok, this shouldn’t be too bad.” However, traveling with kids without a shuttle to drop you off sucks. Walking distance is pretty long. My biggest issue was being charged extra than stated on my reservation paper. As stated on my email confirmation, “Upon entry, pull a ticket and find a parking space. please only present your reservation when exiting the lot.” We had our reservation confirmation printed out. Since we lost “printed ticket” it raised our charges. We will never park here again. Worst parking experience ever at Midway.

I have been parking here for a year and a half and never had a problem with the parking lot. The past few months though, all these stupid rules have been put in place and its honestly aggravating. They put huge, obnoxious signs all over saying NO TRUCKS ALLOWED, there is a close B lot nearby that you are not allowed to reserve for some odd reason and it is barely filled with cars. I just found out this morning the shuttle bus is not allowed to go past number A20, and I parked on A24. Like come on they need to calm down with these unreasonable rules and make the parking lot a little more convenient for all of their customers.

I had a 4:30 Am reservation with a confirmation number at Midway Park saver. Upon arrival on time I was told by the man at the gate that they were booked up and only had six spots left. I showed him my reservation and confirmation number that I had printed out and he told me that it doesn’t matter, he was advised not to let anyone else in. A reservation did not mean anything.I’m sure it is convenient when it is not filled but that is also no way to treat or honor your own customer that went through the process of making a reservation.Because of pleading to no avail and now running late I went to the first parking (big expensive mistake!) that I came to, Midway’s garage and my cost went from $36 to $120.I find it a shame that I went to planning everything for my trip including parking before hand so I can be relaxed the rest of the way, to being stressed and aggravated for awhile after.Good luck to anyone that makes a reservation with this company and isn’t turned away.

I have parked in the lot as a commuter for over a decade. Never had a problem. This morning the ticket machine was again not working properly (this happens from time to time) so I beeped for the attendant. Instead of coming to help me, he was in some sort of disagreement / fight with another customer. Anyway, I was finally able to back up to get to the other ticket lane and the man approaches my car and begins to verbally assault me because I didnt stay in the broken lane???? I could not believe it. As he approached I really thought he would apologize for the delay, instead I was called f***ing stupid and if I didnt like it to f***king park somewhere else. I have seen this man in conflicts before and always gave him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he customers were out of line, but NO. This man verbally attacks you with no provocation. Reading other reviews of the company has brought to light several other incidents involving his customer service. If you are a commuter, please save yourself $7 a day parking and take the bus. Any company that allows this man to represent them is NOT worth your money.

April 2015, trying a different airport lot/service. First time leaving your car (my baby) in a strange lot is scary. The lighting appeared sufficient. Cashier was helpful as I asked how the operation worked. Basically, you drive your car up to the ticket machine, it spits out a ticket. The board lifts up. You proceed to find your own park spot, lock it and you walk to the airport. I noticed there was staff patrolling the area and cameras on the lot. That is reassuring. The price is reasonable. No shuttle service and thats fine as I have no issue with the short walk (in the summer) and saves me on tipping. Use your judgement/instincts about picking your park spot. I am leaving my car again for a shorter trip so stay tuned for service updates.

Reading various online reviews that were poor, I almost did not park here, even if it meant a lot of savings. But I built in extra time for walking and took the chance. Im glad I did! I wondered if shills for other parking lots were the ones giving poor reviews.First Im going to mention the allegations, then the truth.Allegation: The parking lot is extremely long and narrow and its a 3/4 mile walk to the airport.Truth: The parking lot is long, what one would expect from a huge city like Chicago airport parking! I went to the very furthest corner of the parking lot when I picked up my car, and set my odometer to 0. From the very furthest spot to the ticket booth is literally 0.4 miles (4/10 of a mile). The chance youll have to park that far and not get a shuttle? Probably very, very slim. If you dont like to walk, then dont park here. To me, the cost savings is worth a few minutes (literally a few minutes time!) to walk.Allegation: The lighting is so poor, it makes you feel unsafe, and people park under street lights even if it means parking further away.Truth: The whole parking lot is lit very well. When I picked up my car at 10:30 PM at night, the shuttle was ready and waiting, and I noted how well the lot was lit.Allegation: The lot attendants have poor customer service.Truth: I couldnt possibly find this statement remotely true. The shuttle driver and parking attendants were very friendly and helpful.Allegation: Shuttles may not be running.Truth: I dont know the truth of this, because the shuttle was running in the morning when I left, and in the late evening when I returned. I also figured time in, that if it wasnt running, I was willing to walk.Allegation: Homeless people parking there and living in their cars.Truth: Um, hello? I saw nothing of the sort. I doubt they would allow this, as Im sure its in their policy. Who would pay to park to live in their car anyway? You could park anywhere for free, and move your car if people start wondering.I never thought Id write such a long review for airport parking. It just made me almost miss out on saving a lot of money if Id believed the bad reviews, and felt it would be helpful for others to know, and save money!

The parking lot is long stretch and they dont have a internal shuttle at odd times. I had to walk in subzero temperature to my parked car. They did not honor the online booking and I ended up paying regular rate for uncovered parking. I would have preferred to park at airport covered parking lot specially during winter.

Four days of parking with using the coupon that you could find on their website was less than $40.00 total. I often park at Midway and thats the daily rate.About a 10min. walk to the terminal.

Great place to park at Midway. If you want to save money, pre-register on their website

Bad people. Have been coming here for years with no issue. This year (just today) was turned away because our reservation could have been copied. Screw these guys, find somebody else.
