I personally love this nail salon, it is where I choose to go every time I get my nails done. The last time I went I got the Kings and Queens pedicure and it was amazing! everyone is super nice there, they even offer you drinks for no cost. I really recommend this place, and it is very close and convenient to where I live.

Reasonable price and clean facility. Massage chairs and rest room available. Service was okay, but I have had better personal care. Manicure and pedicure was somewhat rushed and average. The location is convenient so I will probably try them again.

The quality was of the nails was ok and the staff was nice, however my issue was I had my gel manicure and pedicure finished in less than 15 minutes (with a price tag of $65.) I have never experienced that extremely rushed atmosphere before at any other nail salon, and felt like I was being pushed out the door, which was strange because it was not busy and not closing time. It was really not relaxing at all as you typically envision when going to a nail salon and I will not be returning.

My cousin and I went to this nail place. We both got gel maincures and pedicures. We felt like they overpriced our nails and toes. The total for both of us came to be $225. We asked why was it so high, they would not explain to us why. Any other nail salon we would go to would not be this expensive. Also they couldn’t even do the design I wanted on my nails, so I just wanted to get all white. They messed my nails up TWICE ! I DO NOT recommend coming to this salon. They overprice their work and you don’t get what you really want.

Technician was extremely rude because I wanted to soak gel off. He informed me “no one wanted to do my nails that way because faster to file it off” for all to hear. That was not my preference. I was left waiting long time until someone finally helped me. Shameful to to treat a loyal customer this way who has been coming for 3 years. Will report to agencies.

This was the worst experience at a nail salon I’ve ever had. The ONLY good thing is how quickly they started on my cousin and I mani/pedi. They were shown pictures of the desired designs. Neither could be done correctly. Go to checkout and was charged $225 for 2 mani/pedi with gel. To not receive what we wanted. When confronted about the pricing, the only explanation was the design which were both simple and because my cousin “kept changing her mind”. They overcharge for their services that are not good. I will never be coming back to this place.

It was super busy but plenty of staff to go around. The location is very clean even behind the pedi chairs. Im not sure of the staff so far. Most were speaking to eachother and the only time the pedi lady spoke to me was to verify my color. I tried to start a conversation several times but the with the short answers I finally left it alone. I just feel like if your touching my toes you can at least look at me and talk to me😆They have plenty of colors to choose from so you can keep going back with new colors to try. They serve wine and water and it looked like coffee. I wasnt offered anything. I feel if the worker was maybe in a better mood my first experience here would have much better. My toes and nails looked pretty but one nail chipped the same day and now they look yuck. My toes still look great though. I dont feel the girl that worked on me was very motivated to work. I will have to go back to see of service is better.******UPDATE ******Went back and again wasnt offered anything to drink and as soon as I sat down they started speaking to one another in a different language. They over charged me! I literally just got my nails and toes painted with gel polish no acrylic . No pedicure not manicure.They charged me $60 as if it would normally be $30 $35 at the most. For a fill in with a overlay with gel is $35 ! I do not recommend.

I had my nails done for a wedding. We went the day before the wedding and I have to admit I’m impressed. I had them use regular polish and it last through the wedding (unloading, setting up, getting ready, and the actual wedding)! In previous experiences at other salons, my nails started chipping within a few hours of leaving the salon with huge chunks falling off during the wedding receptions! Did not happen with VIP Nails. My nails are still flawless after the big day!

Ive been to this location multiple times and they are RUDE!!!!!!!! They act like their gods gift to you like whatever, they Dont speak to me i only saw them speak to the white customers and i have notice this every-time i go! thats okay I decided to take my dollar elsewhere!!!!!! I was going there because it was convient to my house but i have had enough! last weekend was it for me. A rush job and bad attitudes!!! supporting my own people from now on!

Myself and 2 daughters had gel manicures and then went on vacation. Nails started chipping after 3-4 days. Came back from vacation and went in to show them and they said it had been almost 2 weeks and they only guarantee for a week. This is the 2nd time this has happened after getting a gel manicure there. I will never go back or recommend this place. My daughters also barely lasted a week. We had 3 gels and 3 pedicures. Very poor business practice.

I’ve tried this salon several times now so my rating represents an average of al the times I’ve been. It’s clean, hours are convenient and it’s relatively easy to get served. The quality of the pedicure is just lacking and today was the worst yet. Way too many salons around to keep going back for mediocre quality.

Used to go to this place awhile ago and always liked it. After seeing the bad reviews I was afraid to go today with a friend. We both got pedicures and sns manicures and everything was great! The ladies were friendly and did a great job. I am really picky and am looking forward to my next visit

This is the only salon in the entire South Park Arboretum area that I have been to that truly knows how to do SNS and it lasts for the true 3 to 4 weeks. Ive never had that kind of longevity out of my nails from other salons. I 100% reccomend!

Surprised my wife with a visit from our daughter for her birthday (flew her in for the weekend) and some pampering before dinner. The complaint is not about what happened but how it was handled by the manager. The technician accidentally pulled off a piece of skin making the skin bleed. My wife asked to skip the service as she was in pain and walked out with bare nails and an alcohol soaked cotton ball to stop the bleeding. When she got home, the bleeding continued so she called to speak to the manager. The manager did not even offer an apology or ANYTHING. He said flatly, that he cant do anything and she would need to come back to see what happened when she was literally just there. We live locally and try to support local businesses. My wife has had several terrible experiences but has given them many chances. Not anymore.

We came in with no appointment for 4 people and they had us ready in 5 minutes. They have a very nice staff, the place is clean, and they did a great job on our nails. They also offer relaxing massage chairs with pedicures and beverages.

I have been going there for 4 years, and lately the service has not been good at all. I went in for a manicure and pedicure last week, and let me just start off by saying that i can do a better job painting my own nails. My cuticles were not cut well at all, the nail polish was applied in 2 thick coats that didnt allow time to dry and one of the nails smudged. Instead of having that nail fixed, a nail technician just applied and extra thick coat over my nail. It looked horrible. Also my pedicure chipped in less than a week!!!! My pedicures usually last until i get them re-done in a month!!! Not to mention that i brought in my own nail polish that i usually use, so i can fix a nail in case something happens, and the nail technician applied a top coat that had pinkish color to it that changed the color of my nail polish and also had no shine to it at all!! What i also dislike is that they ask you to pay prior to the nail polish application and at that point you leave gratuity as well. How am i to leave gratuity before i see the end result? Especially when i have the nail technician hover over my head while i write in the number. This is the second time in a row that i have had a bad experience there.I am in the search of a new salon!!

Clean / Courteous / GREAT color selection / fabulous service. I really could not recommend this place more highly. I have been to many of the more expensive salons and spas in CHARLOTTE that charge twice as much for manicures and pedicures but honestly prefer VIP Nails at the arboretum. Nice atmosphere - comfortable massage chairs (for me especially if I set the massage chair to just low back and knead - I could stay all day.) Cece does the absolute best realistic artificial nails (I like them thin and short and very natural looking.) EVER! Van does the best, most thorough, luxurious pedicure - especially if you have any type of ingrown toenail - ask for Van and in just a few appointments your ingrown toenail issues will be GONE. Life changing! This place is great. And to top it all off - they offer free drinks - including wine - and have an amazing color selection - hundreds of colors!!! Including hundreds of gels!!! I dont buy nail polish any more because they have everything. Just GO!

RUDE!!!!The man that gave my daughter a pedicure was rude. He jokingly offered my little daughter wine. She was sweet and polite the entire time. His disrespect was unwarranted. I had to address that immediately, he apologized but I knew it was insincere. I’m not paranoid but This was the 2nd time have been there and it felt like they were talking about us. I will never go back there again.There are too many complaints about the same thing!

This is THE WORST nail place I’ve been to. I got a full set with pink and white ombré before my trip to Kenya and they didn’t even last 3 hours before they started to pop off. I caught my flight the next morning and had 3 nails missing!!!!!!!! Needless to say, I had to remove all my nails a week into my trip. I don’t recommend anyone to go to this place until they get new nail technicians or the technicians they do have get real training. A mess.

I usually dont go on prime time days at this salon just because they tend to be quite busy! But Christine is amazing, everyone is great but she just gets me! I love that she talks with me and suggests designs and colors that compliment me. Ive had nothing but a wonderful experience!

Never again! My nails are not even for one and when I said something I was crazy. They look all horrible.. But I spent to much so couldnt go some where else. Dont let them wax you either my eye brows look amazing but my chin and lip are burnt. I dont ever have acne well I wish I could post my picture. My chin has bled and is burnt. When I pointed it out the tech said it was my acne and that I had sensitive skin. So please do yourself the favor and not go!! I know I will never go back!!

I go in ALL THE TIME and have never had a problem, so I brought two of my friends to get full sets (and its usually my favorite place to go) and it was HORRIBLE. We had an appointment at 4 for all three of us and because we took more than 10 seconds to pick our nail polish they took 4 people ahead of us and then did us one at a time and we couldnt even sit together. They rushed through us and our nails look like a two year old did them. All different shapes and lengths and we will NOT be going back. That includes my family that always go here as well.

They were very rude and extremely unwelcoming. Especially the woman who did my pedicure, not only was she rude, but she also did a terrible job. The man who began to soak off my SNS got an attitude and threw his tools down when I informed him that all of my nails and not just two were SNS. Thankfully someone else came along, I didn’t catch his name but he had glasses, and he was extremely kind and did an amazing job on my manicure. I was sure to let him know that the tip left on my card was only for him. If you want to be treated fairly, don’t go here.

By far the worst nail salon experience I have ever received. For a nail salon that looks exquisite the workers are trash. I work in the Aboretum and decided to go after work I called and checked online the hours of operation to insure I will give the Tech enough time to do what I would like.I got there at 6:30 and was told verbally they closed at 7 when online and on the door of the Salon States 7:30pm. They need to change that because its misleading clients.You could tell the workers were talking about me and no one wanted to take me. In the end I never received service and had to leave.I will never go here again. Horrible horrible horrible.

I wish I could give a negative star. If they are going to be this rude and condescending, then they should at least be competent. I would not let them have a go at my dog.

Terrible service they rushed me out stating that they close at 7pm when on line and on the door it says 7:30pm. The nail “tech” cut my finger about 5 times on my cuticles with the nail filer. I will not be coming back the entire experience was awful.

I went in to get gels nails. It took the nails tech 1.25 hours to finish (and this did not include a manicure). I ended up having to go back in two days because the nails chipped around the edges and were very rough (snagged on everything). When I went back the sake tech did my nails and she was very pleasant about it however I ended up having to get them redone after 5 days because they chipped so bad (I had not washed dishes or done anything rough with my hands during that time so the nails should have been intact) Smh. Never again. I cannot recommend them. Sorry.

Have been there many times and usually have positive experiences, until now. The guy doing my toes was so rude. Put me in a broken chair that didn’t move and kept asking me to move up which I clearly couldn’t. I’m short and couldn’t move any further so he wanted me to sit up without my back against the chair, well that’s really comfortable. He kept pushing my feet saying flat down finally I had to say my feet don’t go any flatter. Awful experience and will absolutely think twice about going back. Way too many other salons with nice workers.

I have had 3 bad experiences at this salon. They rush you for a service that you are paying for. For example, today I was told to hurry up and pick a color because they are other customers waiting. I am very aware of the other customers but I am paying for what I want. Its not relaxing AT ALL. I also suggest not having a male tech do your nails because they are the absolute wors when it comes to customer service. They will talk crap about you while your right in front of them and dont realize some people can understand what they are saying. The list can go on , so I would be very cautious walking into this salon.

The hurried service is one thing, but I will never go there again. While getting a pedicure, I had to ask the woman to be more careful because she drew blood! Then she did it two more times! She decided the best thing to do was to pour alcohol on my toes. I thought it would be pretty stupid to put my bleeding toes back into the dirty water and asked her for fresh water. Instead of draining the tub and refilling it, she just turned the water on for about 3 seconds and said, There. There is something wrong with a person who uses her tools so roughly she draws blood 3 times during a manicure or pedicure!!!

I went here and asked for a manicure and a set of gel nails. I picked a pink shade and brought out dark red. I said I wanted pink. there were a million different shades of pink. Any of them would have been fine. Im a little freaked out by the hard sell on red nails. My visit was totally reminiscent of Seinfelds Soup Nazi episode. Very bazar experience. Don’t waste your time or money...I’m new to the area and was in need of a pedicure. I saw some of the reviews, but I also like to give some businesses the benefit of the doubt. I should have learned my lesson by now. :)With that being said, dont bother going here. There are so many other options that are much better, I can assure you.I walked in and said I needed their Class Pedicure. I wrote my name at 10:20. I chose my color, sat down on the bench and waited to be called. It was about two minutes and then she called me back to my chair.As I was walking to my chair, (last chair in the row), I had to walk past the “bar” in between all of the pedicure chairs, where multiple technicians sat on barstools, playing on their phones. They appeared completely uninterested in getting up and doing a pedicure, or anything for that matter.I sat down and put my feet in the water and a few minutes later a man came over. Literally the only words he said to me were “This your polish?” I kid you not...not one more word came out of his mouth the entire time. He never asked what type of pedicure I wanted or anything.I let it slide, hoping he was just focusing on the pedicure. Some technicians prefer not to talk, so I just sat and tried to enjoy the silence. I don’t get much of that...I have two toddlers. :)When I tell you I enjoyed the silence, that’s exactly what it is. They have zero music playing. I heard sounds from a tv, but nothing else. It didn’t appear as if the other techs were chatting up their customers either. The overall feel was that of just not really caring what they were doing.Anyway, back to the actual pedicure. Oh wait, it was over! All joking aside, my pedicure lasted less than 15 minutes. Between signing in at 10:20, choosing a color, sitting down on the bench, going back to my chair, getting settled and him doing the pedicure, putting on the sandals (hitting the polish while doing it), repairing that...guess what time he walked away from me...10:43. That’s right! ALL of those steps were done in a 23 minute period. I was floored!I went to the register to pay and they charged me for a full pedicure! I thought they would at least charge me for the Mini Pedicure or Express Pedicure, because that’s exactly what it was.I didn’t say anything because I was just so caught off guard. And while all this was happening at the register, apparently I wasn’t paying fast enough, because she ripped my card out of the machine so that one of the other techs could run her credit card.Just don’t even bother going to this place. They don’t care about their business, or the work they do, so save your money and go somewhere where they put pride in their business and work.

Seriously one of the worst and most uncomfortable nail experiences of my life. I received an important phone call BEFORE I sat down, apologized and asked to excuse myself to take the call. As I was walking away the manicurist yelled betch. When I returned, not even 2 minutes later, she had a huge attitude with me and did a half way job on my nails. I apologized profusely for having to excuse myself but she just rolled her eyes. The gentleman doing my pedicure and her must have been in on revenge together because instead of using lotion on my legs, he used callus remover. This left my legs red, irritated and burning for 3 days. You can still tell where the lotion was rubbed a week later because it removed a whole layer of my skin/tan. There is no excuse for this behavior. I understand that it is rude to take a call but I had not even sat down yet and they were still running the water for my pedicure. I also asked to excuse myself. The salon was not at all crowded and they said they had been slow all day. I can promise you I will never return to this salon and I always spend $100 per visit (fillin, spa pedicure, brow wax, etc...).

The quality and service is hit or miss.

I have been gone to this place for one year and a half and I though it was amazing place, but today I had the worst experience that I have ever had, so I think the superviser have to be pending about the workers about how they give the service because the mayority are amazing, but One of them made the worst nails than ever. I paid for a good service and now I am not confortable.

I came in to get a pedicure and to get my acrylic nails removed (they had only been on for a week). The woman who removed the acrylic nails did so by prying the edges of the nails up with cuticle clippers and then peeling the nails off. She then scraped any remaining acrylic until it came off. I reacted by grimacing after she did a couple nails, and then commented to her that it was painful, and she was very rude. She ended up making a snide comment that I shouldnt ever get acrylics again. I probably should have just left after the first nail she peeled off, but I was in the middle of a pedicure. My nails are in terrible shape and paper thin... And they still hurt a week later. Last time I had acrylics removed, it was not like that at all...
