Best pedicure of my life. This was my first time here and I had the best experience. I got an appointment one day in advance, everyone was kind, and my technician was very thorough. My feet have never felt better. I already scheduled a manicure appointment for next week.

The reason I’m giving the nail salon at 1 star is because the first time me and my daughter went there they were friendly but over priced nails came off within three days. Gave them another try same thing happen nails come right off and when you tell them about it they don’t care. Still charge me when I was just there haven’t even been a week since I got a full set. Now I see why they are never busy poor quality. Will never get my money again. Oh yes the wife told me it’s my fault my nail came off. To be honest your husband don’t know how to do nails the shaping of my nails is horrible they are ugly.she barely know how to do nails her self they are definitely not from New York doing nails like that what you see in the pictures is what you get basic and ugly don’t get nothing extra it will be a disaster PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Nails only last for a week. Toes came out great. Eyelashes started to lift after one day. The only reason why I gave them a two because the pedicure was nice, otherwise they would of got a zero.

Timing is everything. I came here because of the great reviews. Had an appointment for 4:30 and I really thought they would be on time. I came 10 minutes early. So far, theyre OVER 15 minutes late getting starting on me. I made an appointment because I have things to do at a certain time today. Not a good start. Hoping the work will satisfy me. Ughhh. Time is pushing!!!!

I am so late with this review..its been a couple of weeks now. So this was my first experience in a nail salon with the massage spa chairs, lol yeah I know 🙃. Its also been a couple years since getting my nails done as acrylic and acetone can be torture on my nail beds.I had a pretty great experience. Ms. Ann worked on my pedicure. I did apologize for the condition of my feet and my pinky nails, lol. She was so kind and understanding. And did a great job, very gentle. Good conversation. Ms. Jenny worked on my manicure and did a great job as well. Both ladies were so kind to me. I would definitely come back. I am glad I chose this salon over the others and I made my decision based on others reviews of this location. And I feel so pretty 😍.From the reviews.. I did not know this salon was Woman-owned. Very friendly, relaxing environment, and witness them actually cleaning after servicing each customer due to covid. I will be back! I recently went here to get my acrylics done. i thought i had found a good place, couple days later i see on my pink green pus coming out on the side of my fingernail. DISGUSTING! they definitely don’t clean their tools .

This was my first time coming to this salon. They were a life saver due to me having to find somewhere else to get my feet and nails done because another salon that I had an appointment with cancelled on me at the last minute. I was a walk in when they opened up and I got my pedicure first and then got my nails done. I like the fact they took me in right away. There was only one other person their getting service after I got there so it wasn’t crowed. They took my temperature when I got there and everyone was wearing a mask which I like the fact they are following the guidelines and protecting themselves and their clients. I have no complaints and I will be returning when I need a pedicure and my nails done. Thank you for your service.

Tip Top Nails is my new favorite nail shop. Its a one stop shop for me. I was completely satisfied with the service and quality of my nails and eyebrows that were done by Jenny. The lady who did my pedicure did a great job as well. Jenny made sure I got exactly what I asked for and even gave me her expert advise on certain things which I greatly appreciated. I loved the energy and vibe I got from the shop. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. Highly Recommended!

They didn’t even acknowledge my presence or ask what I needed I had to tell them I came in for a fill in but then when I did the owner asked if I had an appointment and when I replied, “do I need an appt?” She after as if she was looking in her little notebook and then said she had 2 other appts on their way so yes I’ll have to make an appointment for another day and when I said okay she didn’t even bother to ask me when I b would like to reschedule so I just walked out! Rude no manners and no respect for new customer’s!!

I got a very nice gel manicure with designs, which was affordable at $30. The manicurist was very nice and professional. I will definitely return!

Havent had a bad experience here yet! Got a gel mani and a regular pedi 2x and the quality of work was great at such an affordable price. Its the best price Ive found so far for the two services combined. I was able to call an hour before and make an appointment and they seated me for my services right when I got there. Its very quiet and not overcrowded like many other salons. I will be continuing to come back!

Just moved to the area from out of state and was looking for a new nail salon. Because of reviews and the fact that its near my new home I decided to check it out. Though its a little difficult to see from the road its really a little gem tucked away in the corner and so worth a visit.Jenny was so nice and she did an incredible job on my nails. I am so very pleased with the results and Im so happy that I have found my new nail salon. Ill definitely go back.

The atmosphere is very chill and laid back. Jenny is super nice and easy to talk to. I wanted a more natural but festive look for my fiances office Christmas party and Jenny did a phenomenal job. I cant remember the last time my nails have looked so good! Definitely check them out!

Lets talk nails. Havent even left the parking lot because I need to put yall on. Came to Charlotte for a family event and decided my nails have suffered being ugly long enough. I started searching for a nail spot and Tip Top caught my eye. Best. Full set. Ive ever had. Perfectly shaped, meticulously painted, affordable ($45 for gel polish and acrylic). My hands arent sore. No damaged cuticles. The staff is so nice. Less than an hour and my hands went from a heinous mess to beautiful again. Wide array of colors and styles available on. Its hard to find a good nail place but this is it.

Tip Top is my go to! The owner jenny is an amazing nail tech, Especially with the latest styles. I have never been disappointed and I have been going there for years.

I called & made an appointment to get my nails done , I get there & I tell them I want a mani & a pedi & they say okay & before we begin I asked for prices was told it was 45 for my nails & 28 for a pedicure. The prices were fine but the guy who was doing my nails kept messing up & having to fix his mistakes . Well long story short he finishes my nails & ask if I want my pedi still & I say yes. Well 10 mins later I am told they can’t do my pedi because they close at 5 on sundays ? It says on the website 5:30 & they told me they could do it from the get go. Well I go to pay for just my nails & i was told it was 50$ instead of 45? I will not go back there & I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone... I wrote this yesterday but I would like to add that I got sns & its already chipping one day after?! 50$ for what ? I have never had my sns chip this early. Never had this problem before in Charlotte.

Ive been a customer here for years as its close to me, but will no longer be going. My cost for a fill in with gel polish has always been $30. I went in to get the exact same thing done and they said $40 at check out. I asked why the higher cost and they said for the polish AND a trim down on my nails....A trim down and polish is part of getting your nails done and has always been included in the $30 cost before. After questioning that, the new response was higher prices as of June 1st since we got shut down which also isnt true because I paid $30 mid June. I asked if it was posted anywhere with the new pricing and it isnt. If youre going to raise your prices 25%, let your customers know. I hope that sneak attack of $10 was worth it because theyve lost a consistent customer over it.. Also, forget about making an appointment because you will be waiting at least another 30 minutes always.

Tip Top nails is the best nail salon in Plaza Midwood. This family own business is an absolute delight to visit. Jennifer is such a great nail tech along with the rest of her family! They are so considerate of people‘s time, are friendly, and run a very clean shop. Everyone there is well equipped to do whatever you ask and they are very knowledgeable in their trade. They’ve been in the industry for years in multiple states and the skills show it. Tip top nails is the only place I take my friends and family! Love this place!

I was a walk-in. I only waited 10 minutes. Jenny is an amazing nail tech. She did a stiller full set in 45 minutes top Im sure it was quicker than that! She did my eyebrows too. I was there for an hour exactly and thats including my wait time! She has a loyal customer in me 😍

I came in from out of town to visit my family, and after reading reviews I decided to try this place out I typically go for an upscale nail bar but the reviews had me sold, I asked for Jenny, she did such a great job and was so patient! The person who did my nails previously made them so thick it was so difficult to get off but she got them off without damaging by nails and gave me the perfect short coffin shape I’ve been wanting! Her associate did my pedicure, for $25 she took her time and did a great job, I pay much more at home and get so much less! Would highly recommend! Will be back on my next visit to charlotte! It was my 1st time here. I brought my 10 year old daughter with me. I got a full set and pedicure. My daughter got her first pedicure. The staff was very friendly and professional. I was very pleased.

First time trying this place and was not disappointed! I got a full set with a French ombré and they did a great job! They were super friendly and took their time on my nails. I would highly recommend and I will defiantly be back!

A proper polish change took 2 visits... good grief.

My SNS nails looked really awesome when I first got them done! However, it has only been a week and a half, and Ive had two nails pop off and one chip (Im not hard on my nails, I work at a desk and dont do anything that should break them/cause them to come off). They were also peeling up at the base of my nail after only one week. Typically, SNS nails last me 3-4 weeks. Although they do look nice initially, I probably wouldnt get them done here again to avoid having to get them redone every 2 weeks.

Finally found a nail shop open Sundays. Very great service, offers appointments, and great techs. If you like coffin shaped nails Jenny is the tech for you!

I didnt like how they use lotion to soak your cuticles and I had two of mine bleed.. my pinky and thumb cuticles. Also wasnt a fan of the constant talking back in forth in there native tongue in front me....makes me very uncomfortable when I cant understand what is being said.

Love this place! Jenny and the guys do great work. They’re all very patient and WILL NOT allow you to leave the shop unsatisfied! I’ve been going here for a year now. Compared to other salons, they’re work is always consistent!!

This was my first pedicure ever!!! Was enjoying every minute of it until the younger girl took me for my nails. She was moving so fast she snatched the foam from between my toes and smudged a nail in doing so. I know she told the older lady it was me to save face but she knew she did it, esp when she tried to rub it! Then I told her I wanted gel tips. She wasnt listening and gave me a gel manicure instead. I let it go, saved me a few dollars for something I dont need anyway. Just disappointed she ruined my experience. If you go let the older lady take care of you, or even one of the men. The younger girl moves too fast and doesnt listen. I think Ill find somewhere else to go in the future. I must say, my feet feel lovely and Im still glad I came.
