First time going to this place on Thursday 5/9/19 and it was good at first but not until I saw my nails on SATURDAY 5/11/19 they were already coming off on the sides, my hair was getting stuck and it was pulling it. They looked like as if it had been 2 weeks since I got them done. Went back on Tuesday 5/14/19 asked her to fix them and all she did was file them down and didnt even fix the nails, and wanted to charge me extra for fixing her mistake. PLEASE DO NOT go there, acrylic nails will look like they have been done for more than 2 weeks and it has just been 3 days after getting them done. I had to put glue on the sides for them to stop coming off on the sides and for my hair not to get stuck in between it. SO please dont waste your money going there. --- update 5/16/19 -- PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS PLACE $45 DOLLARS GONE TO THE GARBAGE because a week later my nails CAME OFF

I was already on the edge once I was told by the nail tech that it would cost “extra” to get my nails naturally rounded but after the polish was applied, the unevenness of my nails came to light! On top of that, my polish was just applied a few hours ago and there’s air bubbles popping up.

The staff are friendly and professional. The atmosphere is calm and clean. I just had the best pedicure Ive ever had for the best price! ($25.00.) The woman who did my feet spent an hr on them and gave me a great message all the way up to my knees. :) the message chair is heavenly too.

I have been coming to L.A. Nails at the University location for over 4 years. Jenny ( not sure of spelling) is EXCELLENT! My pedicures are always done professionally and she takes her time. I really enjoy our talks and she has become a good friend. She always asks about my husband and son, too! Fortunately for me I go early (9:15-9:30 am) during the weeks days so I have no wait. The owners are husband and wife and they are both very nice and call me by name when I walk in. If you decide to visit this salon, please ask for Jenny. I only get pedicures but I can confidently say that you would be pleased by any service by Jenny.

Not the worst, but also not the best salon I’ve been to, either. As soon as I walked in I was surrounded by three nail techs, and I could barely pick out what color polish I wanted for my pedicure without being rushed. The actual pedicure/ service was great, but the customer service could be a lot better. I will probably end up driving a few extra miles and continue going to my regular spot.

I thought they did a great job doing the dip nails until it came to getting it removed. I found out the guy who did my nails went too deep into the nail bed, destroying the top layers. Now, my nails are very thin and break if they get too long. Nail salon specialists I have spoken to since say that what he did was wrong and should be reported. I recommend not going if you want your nails to stay healthy.

I walked in on the strength of a recommendation and pretty decent Google reviews. Kim and the staff did not disappoint. They were short staffed, but still got to me quickly and made sure I was okay and gave me updates on my service time.Kim did not rush through my nails and even talked to me about general maintenance and nail care. Ive NEVER had that happen before. She listened to what I wanted and conversed with me by name the entire time.I will DEFINITELY be back!!

My best friend and I decided our off day would be a spa day. When we walked in we were almost surrounded by the ladies that work there. There was only one lady that spoke English and then my manicure ended up how the lady wanted it. She did not ask about length or shape. My friend got a pedi that made her legs burn

Great pedicures, but I wouldn’t go back for anything else unless you are just getting gel polish.

Love this nail spa very friendly and they do a fantastic job. I pass a lot of nail spas but I will always return to this one.

Offered a point system. After 10 visits 11th is free. when I earned my 11th visit they then said all visitors had to be cash payments. Another visit the tech was very disrespectful. We can get better service some place else. Once was a nice place. stopped going after 10yrs
