Go to another place because Monothech breathalyzer always mess up and the last one they gave me was defective and broke on its own and the new tech guy tried to say I broke it and that it looks like it was dropped when thats impossible because I never take it out of my car so when could it be dropped and now Im waiting on the manager Gary to call me because there trying to extort me out of $750 & I told them to remove it because im not paying for something I didnt break , Ill drive without a license before I give them 750 I dont even have anyways , im on disability and have serious health problems and cant afford to get by already on my small ssdi check and im not given these scammers 750 more when Ive paid thousands in fine and havent drank alcohol in over 15 years, go anywhere besides monotech to get your breathalyzer cus there awful company and awful people

O m g this place treats their customers like recovering drug addicts! It’s a ripoff if this doesn’t make u straighten up nothing will. I had to bring a friend and it’s like the lowest of the low. I will pray for anyone that has to go thru this type situation. Smh. I know they are making money off of their customers. SMH IS ALL I CAN SAY.

I helped a friend out today by taking his new car here to get his system changed over from the old one. We called ahead to inform them we were delayed and would be little late. We were told that was fine and we drove the 20 miles to have the work done. Upon arrival we were greeted by someone who told us that we were too late to have any work done. They were incredibly rude and I couldnt believe a business would speak to a customer in such a way. They agreed to do the work eventually. We took a walk and came back about 2 hours later. For a second time we were rudely greeted by a second worker who immediately set into my friend calling him a liar about calling in about the delay and said that if he were ever late again they would not do the work for him. I was blown away with how the Monitech representative was treated my friend and I feel awful for anyone who has had to deal this level of abuse from a company like Monitech.

Initially, Monitech was a decent interlock company to use but over time their customer service has drastically declined. Over the past few days Ive literally sat on hold for close to 3 hours on 3 different attempts simply to get a code to drive my vehicle. Ive got a family who depend on me for transportation so this is completely unacceptable!! I will be switching to another company ASAP!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Unfortunately, I was a customer. Nothing bad to say because its the DMV that a have a beef with. Monitech just like other interlock. Fair prices. Get the time over with.

This company sucks, plain and simple. Customer service keeps you on hold for 45 minutes at minimum before someone answers. HIRE SOME MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE TIGHTWADS! In addition, they installed the device incorrectly into my new car, refused to take responsibility for it, and I had to have car towed three times at my expense due to their ineptitude and failure to be accountable for their error. I don’t mind having an interlock device in my car (do the crime, do the time), but I prefer doing business with reputable people. IF YOU HAVE TO INSTALL AN INTERLOCK DEVICE IN YOUR CAR, FIND ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE. THIS COMPANY SUCKS.

All things considered, the guys at the location have been great, i show up on time and im in and out, yeah it costs, your not here unless you got yourself here...the 800 number you call is a call center not the location people, issues with that conact corporate, had my device over a year and no real issues, dont take it out on the company for your continued bad choices.

Added an injunction interlock system, first one was a did, second one has drained the battery completely, would definitely try somewhere else if I had it to do over again.

I switched from smart start because I was hoping the equipment at Monitech might be easier to use, but Smartstart was way better.I never had false positives with them, yet on long rides I always get them with monitech.I cant drive over thirty miles because I know Ill get a warn or worse if I take more than three test in a single trip.This is just a money scam, it protects no one, doesnt stop drinking and driving, and only punishes people who are trying to do the right thing.

My ignition interlock keeps giving me error messages at no fault of my own. So I have to keep setting time aside from my day to call these people and every single time it takes AT LEAST 45 minutes for someone to pick up. I’ve done this twice this week for two separate incidents. Today I was on the phone for an hour waiting and I still haven’t spoken to anyone. Worst customer service

They will install a faulty device in your vehicle that will fail you for no reason. It will fail you prompt you for a retest pass you and then you have to pay them $35 for an override fee. This place is a SCAM. They will fail you for no reason and overcharge you outrageous fees. When you call customer service they will tell you there is nothing they can do and that to have the device checked you must pay a service fee. I have reported them to the better business bureau.

Absolutely the worst customer service not very helpful and no way to get in direct contact with a supervisor. My machine has been on the fritz since May because the technician didnt install it properly. I have gotten no help what so ever about getting a credit or even a call back from a manager/supervisor. The machine is a joke to begin with since many things we eat (ie. Cheeseburgers, pizza, bagels or peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches) set it off and they still charge you 35 bucks to reset it even when its non alcohol related. They should be paying us to market that pos machine..

Exactly what A Grant said. Complete scam There is absolutely no customer service, they treat everyone horribly because they know you dont have a lot of options. Everytime their device fails and gives a false positive they charge you $35 and theres nothing you can do about it. When you show up for an apointment and are waiting for someone to acknowledge youre there you have to sit in their disgusting joke of a waiting room with a TV playing they annoyingly cuts out every five seconds. As soon as you walk in you know how much of a joke it is. If it were any other demographic there would be outrage but no one is going to stand up for a bunch of DUI offenders. I wouldnt be surprised if this company was started by some politicians cousin to rake in money. Court ordered scamming.

MONITECH is the WORST SCAM Ive ever been involved with. Installation office is NASTY.. Product is INFERIOR to anything. This is a front to COLLECT MONEY. Tested Warn/Fail on 4 occasions and havent drank in two years. Customer service are uneducated minimum wage employees that dont care.SCAM ALERT USE SMART START IT IS THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS

I’ve been calling for 3 days to get a code override and when I finally got an answer they tell me it’s an extra 35$. Even after I explained to them about the high call volume and my car locking out today. North Carolina is the worst
