I utilized their services for my required vehicle inspection for the county where I reside. The appointment started on time. The representative was courteous, professional and friendly. The work was completed and properly documented.

Always a good experience when I go. Everyone is super nice even the tech that worked on my car. Also, the waiting area is clean and relaxing and that’s always a plus. They have a nice area to work in while you wait.

First - be prepared to shell out $150 for nothing - even if you have the codes for a check engine light. And no, this will not go towards any repairs made. Car was sending a check engine light, had the code report and called on Thursday to make an appointment to have car looked at on Saturday. Got a call 30 minutes before they closed indicating they had not looked at car and would try to get to it on Monday. I specified that I had work and a child to pick up from school and was promised a call by 11am. After three phone calls and at almost 3pm I finally was able to pick up the car. Was told the check engine light issue had been repaired and then was handed an estimate for almost $1800 for other repairs that were needed. This is a 2013 Avenger, I didnt even pay $1800 for the car when I purchased it 18 months ago. Less than 24 hours later and the check engine light is back on and Georges response when I called is well, these things happen - could be anything. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!

I recently got 4 new tires installed and need to have the alignment checked. Based on the overwhelming positive feedback, I decided to give this shop a try. I dropped my car on Sat morning and the service was done within about half an hour.At checkout, they charged me $5.85 for shop supplies and $5.26 for environmental fee. The lady insisted that this is required by the state and every shop charges the same environmental fee. Most of other shops I used before charge about 2 or 3 dollars for shop supplies and I have not seen any charge like environmental fee on my other receipts.After I got my car, I tested it on the highway and the car was pulling to the left. I could tell that the alignment was not done very accurately. I would need to take it to the dealer for some additional check.Based on my own experience, I would never return to this shop again and would not recommend to others.

My car started to act funny and I was so afraid to get the car fixed- I heard horror stories of people’s experience in mechanic shops. My experience has been exceptional!! They were very accommodating understanding and they fixed the issue right away with out spending an arm and a leg. I am so happy with my experience. Keep up the good work!!!

I call George on a Wednesday and he scheduled me for my repairs that Saturday. I was unable to get the ac fixed that Saturday so he scheduled me for the following Wednesday. My car was in by 8AM and out by 1130AM. I am riding with ac again and grateful to all who worked on my vehicle! Prices werent too bad either because I was expecting more!

Would not recommend! Went to them for a check engine light. Was told I needed a new air intake hose and the price on the part was 70.00. Got a call the next day being told the price on the part was now 245.00. When they called to tell me my car was ready they tried to sell me everything in the book, when I told them I don’t want it they stated well your car will still be leaving with a check engine light! They tried to tell me I was 3000 miles OVER (ie. 8000 miles) my next oil change and when I corrected them stating I got a oil change 4 months ago and had only put 3,500 miles on the car since they replied with well it’s about time to go ahead and get a new one anyway. Full of liars and scammers! Go elsewhere

Was happy with the customer service.And they were able to diagnose my engine let me know what the problem was also they fixed an electrical short in my power windows..But the driver door was removed to find and repair the electrical short when I got my van back my windows worked yay! But the speaker did not work in the driver door and the speakers worked when I dropped off van..When I mention something to them about it they went on the offensive and said that they didnt touch the speaker they didnt touch that wiring and they did not offer to even take a look at it.. after $450 I figured they would have looked at it for me when I did drive back up there and mention something to them.. they did not..would I go back ..I dont think so.... Not to happy bout that.especially because the fact that I work in a service industry when you touch something it becomes your responsibility ..they took the door apart the speaker does not working that would be their responsibility to figure out why its not working.... So. honestly.... my first and last trip to there

I wasnt expecting the price, but I did get a discount. I love Honest-1, they always get it right. George is always on top of things. For the ones that drop off their car, you have no idea what George goes through to make sure your car is taken care of. Love ya George.

Nice waiting room! Lot of space to social distance in the waiting room - clean and they offer coffee and bottled water. Great experience and I appreciated the service report showing the alignment results. They found the only one problem that I already knew about and told me replacement wasnt needed yet, but to keep an eye on the part. This was the same thing my Honda dealer said. I will go there again for sure!

Prices are somewhat high. They go over your car telling you things you need when all you want fixed is what your there for. But the work they do is good.But again prices are high.

I arrived early for a new tire alignment and check up with a coupon, and they started right away. I enjoyed the coffee and HGTV. They also told me that it would be even less than they quoted since most things looked good. They lived up to the HONEST in their name!

I appreciated the cleanliness of the lobby and the professionalism of their staff, but I did have one issue involving an oil change a while back where they claimed I had an oil leak, but I came to find out they had used the wrong filter. I had to pay for an additional oil change as a result. Since that time, however, Ive only had good experiences.

Very professional workers and very helpful as well. They help you understand what is being done to your car and how different processes work. Overall a great place with friendly people that will help you take care of your car.

Came in for a window that had fell off the track and was quoted $560 total. Part was only $95 retail but they wanted to charge $350. I want bought the part myself and installed it. Still had to pay $100+ diagnostic fee.

Had a great experience. The lobby is extremely clean. The staff is very friendly. George went above and beyond to help me as soon as possible to get my car fixed. They turned my stressful car problems into an easy solution! I trust them and will return if I have any future car issues/needs.

Excellent, fast service for my 97 Grand Cherokee. Needed a quick inspection to renew my registration and I received my keys back not even 15 minutes later with my invoice. Went in for a four wheel alignment on my 2002 Buick century, and two tires. Decided to add an oil change while I was there. George explained to me the other items the technician found and we ended up replacing a serpentine belt and brake light. I decided to go ahead and get some AC work done while it was in. Although I ended up spending much more than originally planned, I am satisfied with the results. The car did well on a 500 mile trip the next day.

This is a nice place with friendly and helpful employees. My a/c wasnt working do they checked it out and gave me options for repair.

I’ve gone to Honest before in the past, but only the Fort Mill location when I lived there. I needed to get my tires balanced, alignment, and rotated and Honest was able to do it for me. The dealership was wanting to charge me an insane amount, but Honest’s pricing was lower. Always great customer service here.

Moved to Charlotte for 3 months. I normally do my own oil changes in my garage, but since I wasn’t at home and therefore did not have access to my garage, I decided to take my car here for an oil change. The staff were very friendly and professional, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and water bottles in the lobby. I always work on my own car whenever it needs something done, so I know cars well and I have a good ability to tell whether something on my car actually needs to be taken care of or whether a mechanic’s shop is just trying to upsell me (the shop didn’t know this about me). The technicians were extremely communicative and accommodating and also looked around while doing the oil change to identify any other issues that I needed to get taken care of to include in their post-oil-change receipt/report. The issues that they identified were legitimate and actually needed to be taken care of. I was aware of them and had been putting off working on them. So, essentially, I appreciate the excellent service and the fact that the technicians were honest and forthright.

I had a need to get a wheel alignment on my BMW and found Honest-1 Auto Care recommended as part of the Costco car service program. I was a bit hesitant at first, but the price was very good for a 4 wheel alignment, and they corrected a wear problem I had had for a while. What was even better is they were able to see me same day as a walk-in early in the morning, and I saw them try to accommodate multiple people coming in with kindness.

I went to get an alignment on a work van and after 3 trips there and speaking with the technician which he would guarentees its just that the caliper needs to be replaced. I took it to meineke and they laughed when i told them that. They aligned my car perfectly.

Very fast and friendly. Wondered about some add on fees since there were no consumable aspects done. My car still dives out of lane so something is not right but it was not picked up by the technician—something a test drive would have caught.Overall I appreciate the atmosphere and efficiency but the end result was not necessarily satisfactory.

They were friendly and provided good service promptly and at a reasonable price. I arrived late in the afternoon with a flat tire, and they were able to get me back on the road quickly which saved me from having to drive many miles on a donut spare. I appreciate the service and will be back

I had a good experience at this business. I had a flat tire and I went to get it plugged temporarily but it was not able to be repaired. They informed me it was not safe to plug it. They put my spare on so I could make it to another place to get a tire. My tire was not in stock at their business.Also,I had a wheel alignment done last year there and I was satisfied with the service.The customer service was very polite.

We went to get a car checked out to see what was wrong with it and they ran some test and found out what was wrong they fixed it and we did a car inspection there and passed everything. Ive gone here multiple times for the past few years due to how close they are to my house and so far my experience has been ok to poor.Generally, they take much longer to finish working on your vehicle than they intially qoute and what they charge generally seems overpriced for the service.My worst experience is when I brought in my car, since it was making this buzzing noise. I worked at the Pizza Hut down the road at the time as a delivery driver. I had to leave work early to get it looked at. I was told the Idler pulley was squealing and that I should have the Idler pulley and the serpentine belt replaced. They repaired it, so later that day I drove back down the road to Pizza Hut to start working again. I literally didnt drive more than a mile, when I heard a loud clank. I pulled to the side of the road and stopped. I got out and found a large bolt with a large sheild/casing lying on the road behind me. I picked it up, drove back to Pizza Hut to return the delivery that I was in the middle of taking, clocked out, informed my GM of the situation (Who was obviously not happy) and drove straight back to Honest Auto. On the way there my car made this awful shrieking noise. Once I arrived, one of the mechanics walked out to me, so I showed him the bolt. He says Im not even sure how that came out. He drives my car into the shop and I walk inside where everyone at the desk assures me that it was just the belt making the noise and no future damage had been done to my car. After they fixed it a second time, I didnt have any future issues with it.I can also recall one other instance where I ended up being stuck at my house for the weekend due to them taking much longer than they intially quoted me to fix my car. I dont recall the details, but if I remember correctly, I brought it in Friday, they told me they would have it fixed by Saturday and I didnt end up getting it till Monday. Im not sure if they ran into complications or they just didnt prioritize my car, but it was frustrating none the less.The final straw is recently, I brought my car in due to this burning smell. They charged me 85.30 before tax for a Comprehensive Vehicle Inspection. The issue ended up being that some plastic had just melted on my exaust pipe from some trash that my car had picked up. I understand that they want to be compensated for their time, but Come On Guys, you charged me $ 102.42 to look at my car for less than 40 minutes. At least give me something for coming back despite having all these negative experiences.Safe to say I wont be coming back here if I can help it. The only reason Im giving two stars instead of one is I acknowledge that stuff happens and Im sure theres details Im not aware of.

I used an Honest one auto care in Tampa and looked for one here. They are the nicest. Most conscientious auto repair I have been to. Even the mechanics smile at you. I would recommend to seek them first wherever you are.

I truly enjoyed the waiting area. The service was excellent. They do inform you and show you any problems found. They too dont move forward on any additional costs without your permission. My 2003 Hyundai started acting up on Friday late in the evening. I called in to Honest1 about 2 hours before closing on Saturday, and they suggested that I could drop it by to have one of their techs take a look. They said they would reach out on Monday after running diagnostics. On Monday I received a call in which they outlined all of the issues. The prices were within the range I expected, not like a high quote I got from a different garage. However, I decided not to have the car fixed because of the age and condition of the car. However, the professionalism, attention to detail, reasonable pricing, and swtifness of service were definitely notable. I took my car in for an inspection. They told my I needed a laundry list of things in order to pass inspection, and tried to convince me I needed a new battery. I took her to another shop for an inspection and second opinion and was told only one issue needed to be corrected to pass. Really seemed to try and push parts and services on me.

I took my car in for a level 1 diagnostic service. The report identified the problem and the service manager reviewed my options in detail. No high pressure. This was my first encounter with Honest 1 and my initial impression was very favorable. They are not the cheapest guys in town, but offer quality service and use quality parts which makes it worth paying a little extra.

I was recommended to the shop by a relative. Happy that it was close by. When I called, the guy listened to my problem and told me to bring it in so he could determine what they could do. The facility was cleaned and inviting and the receptionist/office manager was friendly and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the outcome of my problem and the value. I have already told several family members about the business.

I took my car in for a wheel alignment & they informed me that my front tire rod needed to be replaced before I got a alignment because if they did the alignment without replacing tire rod the first bump I drive upon will knock it out of place all over again they didn’t take my money like other places would I respect them for that & they also checked out other issues I had. These folks are good. I had wear on the outside of my two front tires and assumed an alignment would fix the problem. They did a test drive and inspection and discovered the outside tie rod ends were lose and needed replacing. They could have done the alignment and taken my money but instead they advised me to have the rod ends replaced first. I couldnt have the work done that day but they were very generous and understanding about it. No hard sell. No arm twisting. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I will definitely use their services in the future.

I came to Honest 1 to get front brakes done about a week ago and received the most amazing service I have ever received at an auto care place. They have a nice and comfortable waiting area that is NOT overpowered with the smell of a garage. First they checked the brakes and when time came over to where I was sitting and had a conversation about what was needed and the cost. I APPRECIATE THAT PERSONAL TOUCH!! The entire time I was there they kept me informed about what was happening from them having to order the brakes to when they arrived. Again, I APPRECIATE THAT!! When I was done and in my car I noticed something that I had never received from an auto care place, which was a thank you note attached to Oreos!! Honest 1 will definitely be my go to when I need auto service.
