I only came here because my usual place was booked and this one had 4.3 stars. The man that did mine smelled bad and was not friendly. Me and my aunt got acrylic fills together and our nails came out fine but the man was not gentle at all. He also really didn’t clean any of the “nail dust” and when he did the lotion at the end it felt like sandpaper lotion due to the dust. The woman doing hers was much more friendly and clean but was reaching over and using the same acrylic powder as the man and then when they were getting in each other’s way, he rolled his eyes at her and she went and got her own. They also continuously tried to upsell us and asked multiple times if we wanted pedicures when we said no and insisted my color would look bad if I didn’t change my shape but the color looks exactly like I thought it would. Definitely not coming back.

All the girls here do great work, exactly what I want every time! They are soooo nice! Plus they have like a thousand types of glitter to choose from! This is the only place me and my husband go now!

I was charged $58. Not even close to The picture I brought in for reference with what I wanted. When I told him I wanted the pink and white ombre, he tried to argue with me and said thats clear and white in the picture. It is clearly white and pink

Prices are a little expensive..... but they do good work. $24 for a basic pedicure when at the other place I was going paid $26 for a full pedicure and that included a hot stone massage.

They did such a fantastic job and are very reasonable for pricing. Love coming here they always do their best with the designs I bring(sometimes make them even better)

I went in with a group of 7 for a little family spa day. We got both manicures and pedicures in the group and each one of the manicures and pedicures were flawless! They did perfect shapes and colors on the manicures and the gel pedicures were amazing too!! I would highly recommend this place!

I walked in in the morning and because it was busy was asked to return or make an appointment. I made an appointment for a later time 2 pm that day with the lady who I normally go to. At 2 pm this lady was busy so the male owner did my pedi. He was not paying attention nor cared. Cut my nails slanted and didn’t even clean my cuticles. 2 weeks later I now have a very painful ingrown toenail. Not acceptable as they didn’t even bother responding to the negative review I left when they texted me about how I felt regarding their services. He needs to be held accountable and not do nails if he does not know how to!

I finally found the nail shop for me. Joanne is the absolute best artist I have ever met. She does my sns flawlessly and my nails are actually stronger now because of bow genital she is with them (they were paper thin before) . Im happy to have been referred here my nails last so long and they are so strong and never break. Not to mention some people dont know how to shape a nail with sns. This woman is amazing!!

Went in to get acrylics today and Im thrilled. We came in around 5:00 on a Friday and my friend and I were both worked on immediately. I paid $40 for my full set with gel polish, and they look fabulous.My nail tech made sure to let me look them over from every angle and worked on them until they were the perfect thickness and shape for me. She even filed down underneath the tips near my fingers to get rid of any excess glue or acrylic that was hiding out under there, which Ive never had another tech do. She was very gentle (Ive had others just yank my fingers around or apply too much pressure during filing and cutting). She also didnt trim the hell out of my natural nails (another problem Ive had at salons).I just feel like she really listened and cared and wanted me to be happy with my nails. Im so happy with them and I will ABSOLUTELY be back.

Place is nice but definitely not the worth the money. I came in for a pedicure that came out to $60 mainly for the massage. And honestly felt like the girl was making a ham sandwich. No pressure what so ever and not even close to a massage .. sorry but not worth the money and wont be coming back ever .

Ive been getting pedicures and dipping powder manicures for a year at Valley Nails, and love the results! Joanne takes the time to make sure she does my nails the way I want them, and Im pretty picky. Love the ombre nails! The salon meets all all Covid safety rules and everyone, including clients, wears masks. I highly recommend Joanne and Valley Nails!

I picked this place because I wanted to treat my wife for her birthday. I chose here because they had a website- bad idea. I wanted to make her feel special. I made an appointment the day before. When we arrived they were understaffed and overbooked. They didnt have many decent color choices. Then they made her sit for 30 mins without being helped. She felt so frustrated she walked out without getting her nails done. Why even make an appointment if you are going to help other people before her? I took her to Lucy Nails instead. Avoid.

I was referred by a friend whose been getting her dip nails done by Jolene. Every time I saw them they looked amazing....even grown out. Im very particular about my nails as I was a nail tech myself. Jolene is amazing, my nails are fabulous. Im so happy to finally find someone that can do a French fade aka ombre with the dip system.

Valley Nails is my favorite nails salon. I often come here whenever I want. This place is located on the way I come back to my home. Therefore, it is so easy and convenient to go. The services are plentiful and I can choose any services. Moreover, I am especially love their massage chair. That is wonderful. And I wish I can bring it to my home!

I LOVE Valley Nails. I’ve been coming here for years. We moved to NE Mesa and I tried one nail salon after another and walked away unimpressed each time. I made the decision just to drive the 30 minutes each way and go back to Valley Nails. If I’m spending my money on a service, I want it done well. I am ALWAYS pleased when I walk out of Valley Nails. Had a gel Manicure and pedicure by Lynn. She was very detailed and took her time to make sure everything was right. Prices are comparable to other places, and I loved being able to make my appointment online! You also get points for each dollar you spend, and after so many you get money off. Love that!

My experience at Valley Nails has ALWAYS been favorable. I have been a client at Valley Nails for almost 12 years now and have no desire to find anyone else to do my nails. They have always given me excellent service and always do an excellent job whether I have a manicure, acrylic nails, gel nails or a pedicure. When I do travel, I look forward to coming home to get my nails the way I like them done! I moved to Arizona from Las Vegas a few months ago where I had the same nail tech for two years so I was very nervous to look for a new nail salon and tech. I’m extremely picky with my acrylics and they did them beautifully! Tina kept asking my input on the shape and color as she worked and they came out amazing. Very happy!

The nail technician was very sweet and helped me have a relaxing experience but... Lets talk about what ladies really want to know. Yes youll leave with beautiful nails and yes its going to cost you some money, I mean... This is is Ahwatukee. But, you will have peeled, chipped and messed up nails by the next day and damned there gone polish by the week. Granted this was just regular polish but come on. If you dont put some extra extra strong top coat on these nails. Lol. Maybe it wouldve been better if I forked out the extra cash for powder or gel but the way my wallet work I dont have it to put $100 dollars on nails when I can get the two colors for $5.00 and use the remainder on a outfit or bill. Im just saying.

My ombré dip powdered nails came out great. They take their time and always comes out good.

The guy doing my nails was non professional. Came in from smoking and smelled terrible, hands were disgusting. His table was not clean nor was any of his containers. Then to top it off his phone kept ringing 11 times in the first 10 minutes and had to tell him I wanted someone else to do my nails. So rude. Will not be back.

This is a really good salon.they are experience and their work usually last for 4-6 weeks for a pink and white.Check Valley Nails & Spa out and you wont be disappointed.I like to get personalized designs on my toes, and they can do very intricate things.Ive gone to more expensive places, but rather be in this friendly environment!Nice place! Everyone took their time and was very sweet. I will definitely be back!

I honestly wish I could give ten stars. I had gotten a set of acrylics at a different nail place before I came here, and when I did come to get a fill, they did a beautiful job and I ended up liking it even more. The staff is so friendly and they charge less for a gel fill than most places do. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant experience. At some other places, the staff would get upset when one of their tools pinched me and i flinched. Here, the staff understands that were not all professionals. I even got a student discount! On top of it all, they have a points system so you can get rewarded when you come back multiple times. Will definitely be visiting again!

Ive been going to Valley Nails Ahwatukee at least monthly for the last 18 months. The staff is wonderful and Ive been very pleased each time.Today I returned to get my nails done and there has been a change in ownership and most of their excellent staff is no longer there. What a shocker! The atmosphere was definitely not as friendly and I wasnt pleased with the time and results of my manicure.I would love to find where the former staff has gone to. This is an establishment that I have been going to for over 10 years and will continue to do so. I have tried other salons when on vacation out of state, but always miss my Valley Nails. True, its close to my house. But there are a lot of salons close by and I have not needed to try them. Whats important to me in a nail salon is quality, cleanliness and comfortable/friendly environment. The artists at this salon have been there forever and that is important to me. I like the location in the AJs shopping center. Walking in is no problem which makes it extremely convenient. The overall environment makes this my favorite place to relax.

Horrible. First, the chairs are very uncomfortable. Then, they didnt soak my gel nails off, they used the grinder for ALL the gel and ground off some of my nail too. I had a couple of acrylic nails because the nail had broken low past the cuticle. She used a clipper on the corner of the nail to create a gap and proceeded to pry under the gap and yank off the acrylic and tore the crap out of my nails. They now are weak and painful. After the new gel was applied, my nails are still bendy, rubbery and weak. One still hurts (too many layers torn off). Oh, and theres still a rough, angled corner on 2 nails from when she used the clippers and it cut my own nails. No idea how this place gets good reviews.

I had a horrible experience there and I am not returning as a customer. The gentleman who works there was rude. He wanted to me pay before before he started painting my nails. So I did. Thinking maybe this was their process here. As a sat there, other costumers paid after their services. A woman there noticed my treatment from him and she basically took over. Bless her heart. As I sat awhile for my nails to dry the gentleman comes back and says in a rude tone You can leave now. Never once in my life have I had service like this at other nail salons. I hope the lady that was generous got the tip that was charged to my card.

After moving to Phoenix a couple of years ago, I must have gone to 20 different places looking for a clean, consistent experience. This place has it. Although they have changed ownership in the last month or so, I feel the new owners are even cleaner and are streamlining their products and services. (Lotions on every station are now all the same, etc). I have liquid gel nails done, acrylics for my daughters and pedicures here and have never been disappointed. For Gina Phx Bound, the only staff I notice is not here is JoAnn, (first station on the left when you walk in) and she is on vacation in Vietnam right now for 3 weeks, visiting her family. Hope this is helpful.

I called ahead for an appointment, which was a great idea. They are super busy, especially on the weekend.The girl I spoke to on the phone remembered my name when I walked in. She asked me what I wanted and Im pretty picky about my nails. Everything I told her, she said Anything you want, Ill do for you!.She did exactly how I wanted. Super thin acrylic, oval shaped and she even spent the extra time to make sure I didnt have any bubbles from the gel. Highly recommend.

Ive been a customer for awhile now and unfortunately I will NOT be returning! Joanne, who I normally see, did the WORST job on my full set of nails this time! Paid $50.00 and a day later 3 of my nails had lots of cracks that could be seen under the color. In addition, the Male owner of the salon is never friendly! Im done supporting this place!

I never do reviews and I really wish I never came here. Their clean and nice but honestly this is the worst pedicure Ive ever had. She didnt take the gel all the way off. She doesnt massage just rubs her hands all over calus remover wasnt anything she scrubbed it not even for 5 seconds and I mean literally 5 seconds. I wasted 60$ and my time.

In some cases the customer is right,so its just best to listen to them. I wanted a simple gel manicure and regular pedicure. I got Doane who doesnt listen. She finished the pedicure, which was fine; however, she got upset when I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed while waiting for the gel to dissolve off my fingernails. So, she tried scrapping it off in a frenzy. I stopped her from doing that, got my eyebrows done and came back to her station. I had to instruct her to properly file my nails and get all the gel of my nails before putting more on. When she put the color on my nail I told her thats not the same color as my toes. She begins to explain the hand written numbers on the polish top and the names are the same. I pointed out to her the printed numbers on the bottle werent the same and she insisted its the same color. The man who runs requested I pay before everything was complete because it was close to closing time. I did and when she completed and I got up from the chair I noticed I had pink fingernails and orange toe nails. I remember primary colors from kindergarten, thus the reason I told her it was the wrong color on my fingernails. I wanted a refund but they tried to persist on matching to the color I didnt want. Fin all the guy game me my money back for my fingernails but then tells me to remember that I got refunded in cash and not reverse the charges on my credit card. Basically telling me not to cheat him but its OK for Dinner to screw up and she not talked to. Instead of taking responsibility for their actions they blame the manufacturer, but its two different companies. They are the worst. Since Cookie and the older gentleman left it hasnt been the same so I wont be going back.In reply to Dianas post: I told you it was the wrong color from the first coat of paint you put on my pinky finger, but instead of listening to me you insisted it was the right color. Secondly, there was no full refund given as the man who was there was in no way attempting to refund me my money, but made excuses as to why your establishment wasnt at fault. He only wanted to refund me for the manicure which was $30 out of the $64 with of service. Not only can I tell the difference in colors, but I can add and subtract as well. Had you all listened to me instead of trying to make a quick buck you would have kept a customer;however, I am never coming to your establishment again. So, please do not post things that are untrue. I appreciate your cooperation.

Thought Id try this place out due to the ratings, I was not satisfied at all nails arent smooth, they asked if I wanted gel color I said no but they decided to use gel colors, paid $60 for a pedi which was poorly done, I also had a full set done for my daughter as well as myself, doesnt seem like they listened to what we wanted and did what they wanted to do. So after paying $160 I definitely wont return

$25 for a standard no-frills pedicure (no scrub or callous remover included) is a bit more than their competitors. But they were nearby and I needed the pedi. Ok job and very friendly. The massage chairs should not use the word massage: more like light vibration chairs.Edit Jan 2020: Theyre really great - they know their customers, and their business. Their prices and menu is great. Still meh on the chairs though.

First the lady that was doing my pedicure didnt know what a matte polish was. And then she cut my nails so short they look like nubs and the shape was terrible. Would not recommend this place. Was just new to the area and it was close but will not return.
