Lockett’s Auto Care provided excellent service to keep my 20 year old Pontiac running. They diagnosed the front end noise and repaired it perfectly! My car now runs better now than it has in 20 years! This is the best auto service I’ve ever experienced! Highly recommend!

So, I went to the Jeep dealership for a regular oil change and they suggested I change my brakes, rotors, and tires. Now, we all know dealerships try to convince you to donate a kidney so you can pay their overpriced labor but jeez, being a long term customer I’d figure they cut me a break. So, in the dealers parking lot I decide to search where I can donate a kidney and by a miracle, these guys popped up on my Google search. First call was with Mike, he quoted me a fair price and I told him I’d get back to him. Called back 2 weeks later and spoke to Ryan, he set my appointment and easy like that I was there at 7 am this morning. Did y’all know that these guys are punctual! Spoke to Mike and Ryan for a bit this morning and I was on my way back feeling that my Jeep was in great hands. They called me back and was like “Sir, your car is ready, test drove it but did you know that your left rear wheel bearing needs fixing?”. Let me stop right here. This is why I love mom and pop shops, they do business right. Can y’all believe the same place where I would think has more in scope analysis of my vehicle, didn’t have the nerve to point that out?! (Yes, the Jeep dealership). Anyways, I am just thankful they caught it before I had a wheel rolling down Baltimore National Pike. I got a fair price for the job, so I gave them the green light and by 4:30 pm my Jeep was smooth like butter on the breaks and knowing we both won out of our transaction! Thank you for all you guys did today, I appreciate the time Mike, Ryan and Chuck took to explain everything and I am definitely coming back!

Ryan was very nice. I got a state inspection for my vehicle and needed to get a repair done to pass. He fit me in and updated my inspection report after the repairs were completed. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.

Simply the best service and value in town.I got a quote for XXX from Toyota 1 mile down the road for a dead battery and alternator. Mike from Lockett offered to jump my car and run it off his battery to save me ~$100 for towing to get it to his garage where he charged me around 1/3 of Toyotas quote for the same job, minus the car battery, which was not dead (and Im writing this email about 2 weeks later - so yeah it wasnt dead).Car was ready next-day after a 5pm drop-off. He was able to hang onto the car over the long weekend, and the final price (as referenced above) was lower than the initial quote.Best experience Ive ever had a car repair shop.

Not only did they replace the battery but they fixed our broken key with no charge. They are always friendly, professional and give you the info you need straight up. Couldn’t recommend them more!!

Labor and parts are over pricedThey charge $552.14 for two NSK Bearings(KH30048)When they are priced at $150 eachAnd $336.00 for laborI found another auto shop who do the same work and same parts for $359 cheaper.Plus the owners Son rammed a truck into my car which is probably why the bearing suddenly went bad. I took my Honda Element in for a coolant leak fix. I was told the leak was in a pipe below the engine and that it also needed a thermostat. I approved the $600+ repair. After the repair was done they told me it also had a blown head gasket. That repair would be $1100+. Why didnt they check the head gasket as a routine diagnostic for a coolant issue. They do good work but getting me to approve a $600 fix when it needed a $1700 repair seems very shady.

Ryan and his team are awesome . Very honest and for coming in the possible cost and repairs needed. Repairs time is really fast a simple battery was in and out in 30 mins at 4:30 pm( no appointment were able to squeezed me In) Few months prior I had some issues going on with a camera and braking issue. The repairs were not cheap but drastically cheaper then the Ford dealership .Ryan and his team had my car back to me within a week and had parts over nighted .Will always go to Lockett auto care for all my needs and support their business. We discovered Lockett’s when our truck (trailing an expensive RV) broke down on I-70. They had great reviews and were close enough for us to get to with the help of a Tow truck who followed us the 3 mile drive. We arrived just before closing. Mike, the owner greeted us like old friends. We had been on the phone with him several times trying to diagnose our problem. He, his son Ryan and several of their staff stayed late to help us & were oddly happy to do it! They didn’t make us feel as though we were an inconvenience in the least. They diagnosed our problem, laid out all of our options, invited us to ponder them over the weekend.
