Wow, My teeth were damaged when I was 4 years old and fell off a high diving board and hit the cement. Consequently I have been in and out of the dentist my entire life. This is the most welcomed I have ever felt. I broke a tooth and they got me in right away. Dr Nguyen was exceptionally thorough. I was impressed by the up to date equipment. You will be in good hands here. I am so happy to have found a new dentist.

The employees of this office and the overall atmosphere give an extremely comforting and inviting feel. Everybody went out of their way to make sure I was well taken care of, and I will definitely recommend this office to anyone searching for a caring and knowledgable dental staff.Dr. Nguyen made sure to be very gentle with my cleaning and filling, and made my experience there a delightful one. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my teeth but her!

This office is misleading. After speaking with the office Manager several times regarding treatment plan charges, I realized that this office nickel and dimes you. Be aware of the charges from this office. I was hung up on twice when inquiring about certain charges. The actual dentist was very nice but the dental assistant was watching the Olympics while working on my teeth. The assistant manager will try to upsell you. Just choose another office if you want peace of mind.

I have never given a review online in my life but I would give this business zero stars if I could. Ive been with their sister company BLVD as well as IO dentistry for the past 4 years. They keep changing doctors or barely have availability. Every time the doctor gets changed, the treatment plan gets changed. What would have taken me 14 months has taken over 4 years. When you express your concerns, they dont address it but would rather say what they feel like saying.Save your money and go to a business that is consistent and truly care about you.

As always, it is a pleasure to walk in to the iO Dentistry office. From the first day I visited this office I’ve felt as though I’ve been cared for and treated like family. You are greeted with a warm smile by the front desk team who always remember me and my family. My hygienist, La Sha, is fantastic and she has given me great tips on maintaining good dental hygiene. And of course Dr. Ly Nguyen is awesome! Undoubtedly the best dental-related experience I’ve ever had for both my needed treatments and cleanings. Dr. Nguyen was honest and straight forward with the treatment I’ve needed. She explains everything step by step and takes her time to answer all questions and concerns. I have been to other dentists that exaggerated what my needs were in order to make more money. So it was a relief to find a dentist with integrity. See you guys in 6 months for my next cleaning.

If you are still looking for a great dental office to go to, consider going to this place and ask for Dr. Nguyen and La Sha! These two have been very helpful and have made my visits very pleasant everytime. These ladies make the trip to the dentist not dreadful at all! 10/10 Would come back everytime for any kind of appointment.

TL;DR: Hard-sellers, unprofessional, shady practices.Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. First, let me address this: the staff are nice. Like, very nice. But nice and professional are two completely different things.I scheduled an exam and a cleaning because it had been a while since I visited the dentist. I knew I probably had a few issues because one of my teeth was bothering me. I go into the office and have to wait an extremely long time, which to be honest, any medical/dental office pretty much has that built in, so I wasn’t too bothered by that.They take me back to the room, start taking x-rays, and then tell me the dentist will be in to review them. She finds a shocking amount of problems with my teeth, saying that all of the fillings I have previously had done were awful and will need to be taken out and replaced by them, that I will need a root canal, all of my wisdom teeth pulled, and proceeds to paint this entire story of pain, infection, and doom if I don’t let them take care of all of this for me.She then takes me to the office, shows me a treatment plan that has an EXORBITANT cost (after insurance, no less), and as I am asking questions about it, because I know for a fact the numbers are not right because I know my insurance inside and out (they had obviously miscalculated to try and squeeze more money out of me, just like another reviewer on here said they did to her), she keeps cutting me off, speaking in an extremely condescending tone, and again, creating this horror story narrative of all the pain and anguish and problems I will have if I don’t schedule all of this dental work immediately with their office and the dental surgeon that they have a relationship with. They are trained in manipulative sales tactics and will try and hard-sell you on their services. Highly unprofessional.And the kicker is, they never even cleaned my teeth, which is what I scheduled the appointment for in the first place!I have since been to another dentist, who after taking x-rays, pointed out one issue, and it happened to be the exact tooth that was bothering me. Simple fix for it. I asked him about the other issues, and he said the old fillings are perfectly fine, and when I asked about the wisdom teeth, he said that he couldn’t see any reason I should undergo surgery, as I have no pain and no crowding.I understand that the pandemic took a hit on a lot of businesses, but if this dentist’s office plans to recoup their losses by absolutely screwing over their patients, then they don’t deserve to be in business to begin with.

Im usually afraid to go to the dentist but Dr. Nguyen and her staff do a great job of easing my fears. They explain things clearly so I know what to expect. I have a pain-free experience every time I go. Mellisa is always a joy to see.

This is the best place to get all your dental needs taken care of. I received several dental services here and I left pain free. I must say the staff is amazing as well.

I’m a new patient and this was my first time there for a routine cleaning. The office is clean and well maintained. They are well organized in terms of the process. I got greeted by the front desk receptionist and the Office Manager when I arrived. Alex, the hygienist, explained everything that she worked on me before Dr Nguyen came over. One thing I really appreciate that Dr. Nguyen cleaned my teeth and the Alex finished up the rest. Dr Nguyen was gentle and also clearly explained what she would be doing. She also gave recommendations, but not pressuring me in doing any treatment at the time. Overall, I’m satisfied and felt comfortable for my first visit. I’m hoping that they would continue to provide great services to all of their patients.

Stay away from this clinic! They will overcharge you for a few cavities. And do not follow common practice!When I first got the quote for the work they thought I needed I didn’t think much of it, but figured I’d call my insurance provider to review. I did so because the front office told me, “We don’t do pre-determination of benefits”. How is that possible? You’re in-network with my insurance company!Long story short, the insurance co. says they added unnecessary charges and quoted me at 60/40 when my plan is 80/20(which they should know). Also, the clinic is supposed to provide the pre-determination based on the provider agreement(very shady). I found another clinic nearby(Hebron Smiles) and did a full check-up. I only needed half of what IO dentistry recommended. My bill with IO dentistry was $600, I paid $98 with Hebron Smiles.Don’t waste your time with this clinic.

This place is horrible, they don’t care about you, it’s a business so they only want your money. Once paid, they don’t care what happens after. They treat everyone differently, they will make appointment for you without your concern and charge you for no show. I would never choose this place. And just for clarity, this business owner changed the business name every 1 year, so if you look at the reviews for precious name, you would be shocked. Which I learned after, else I would have never chose this pace. I went to Carrollton Modern Dentistry, and I can tell you they care for you and they would redo work if it doesn’t look right or feels right, IO-Dentistry would never do that. IO Dentistry would charge for redo and tell you that it’s your mouth and your tooth so it’s not their problem. U might end up paying twice for one tooth here even though it’s their fault, and they will charge you.

Best dentist I have ever been to, no exaggeration. The fact that I’m writing a review further supplements this (normally I wouldn’t take time to do so). Staff always remembers my name and personal details about me. They ask how my family is doing. I have had La Sha as my hygienist several times and she’s incredibly professional. I used to go to a dentist in Highland Park who consistently told me I had cavities when I take very good care of my teeth. IO dentistry is much more ethical and only suggests treatments that you need. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this office.

Mint Dentistry did a fine job with my 7 yr old grandson’s 6 mo check up today. The hygienist was funny and engaging with him the entire cleaning while she snuck in dental education. The dentist was thorough and answered all my questions well.

I am not the best patient but the doctor and everyone else were great. They took time to listen to and address my concerns and issues.

I love this place! The staff are always friendly and professional. My dental hygienist La Sha Thomas is awesome!! She had my teeth glistening :). Also, due to the pandemic, she wore two mask and the staff each had on mask. I was seen for my apartment two minutes after walking in ( all docs were digital and sent prior as they are now paperless due to the pandemic)... #safety first

Excellent dental practice. All my needs have been met, the staff are friendly knowledgeable and competent. The office utilizes the latest and best practices in dentistry. No high pressure sales pitch (no mention at all other than advertising in the building) for whitening and or other cosmetic procedures and that’s appreciated. Would absolutely recommend to family or friends. All the COVID-19 hype has been addressed with the best practices suggested by science are in place and followed to protect their staff and patients. Fortunately, I’m a patient who’s compliant and follows the normal routines for oral care including daily floss so my exams are purely preventative in nature and I’ve not had to have any procedures or treatments beyond routine cleaning. I have no questions in ability of this practice should such be required in the future.

I have been a patient of dr Perez and his team at iO Dentistry for over 15 years. Dr Perez put on my veneers ten years ago and I have had no trouble with them at all and I get many compliments on my smile. The entire staff are well qualified and do an awesome job. I highly recommend iO Dentistry.

I was referred to IO Dentistry from a co-worker. The staff is 1st class as well as the Doctors. They explained everything to me in detail. They made me feel at home both times I was in. I highly recommend this Dentistry. I will be referring friends to this office.

My experience here was a total joke. I came in as a new patient looking for a good dental experience who would help me fix my teeth without judgement. I arrived fifteen minutes early as requested, but wasnt seen until ten minutes after my appointment time. They first took x-rays and pictures of my teeth and then the dentist came in (didnt even introduce herself to me) to look at them and tell me I have three cavities which I already knew. She left. I was told she was getting a treatment plan ready and would be back in to talk to me. She never came back. Then I was told the hygienist would be right in to clean my teeth. She never came. I sat in that chair waiting for thirty to forty-five minutes before a new person came in to tell me that the dentist wanted me to have my cleaning and fillings done at the same time, but I had already asked twice if I would get a cleaning that day and was told yes. Then as that lady is telling me this another lady says that the hygienist was on her way. I was then left again for another five to ten minutes. Then they come back and tell me Im moving rooms, so they took me to an office room where they told me how much it was going to cost and that I needed to schedule a new appointment for my cleaning and fillings. I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED with the disrespect this establishment showed me. At least three people asked my why I was there and I said teeth cleaning and they didnt even accommodate. I was told at one point that they had four new patients at the same time... well then dont schedule four new patients if you cant help them. I have a job and a child, so I cant just spend two hours sitting in a dental room for no reason. I scheduled the second appointment, but I am currently cancelling it and taking my business elsewhere. DO NOT COME HERE!

For starters, my previous review has since been deleted.Dr. Perez is one of the worst dentists Ive visited. I am ashamed to say I followed through with a treatment plan at the Carrollton location. After getting a root canal and cap a year and a half ago, I now have an infection in a previously good tooth due to my gums being too exposed. My cap was imprecisely placed, exposing too much of my gum, making more food and bacteria accessible to the area. I now need another root canal and a cap for his lack of precision and attention to detail. Dental work is not cheap with or without insurance, with credit assistance and without. I can assure you there are way better practices around and suggest you save your money and time by going elsewhere.

If I could give them negative stars I would!! This place has the worst orthodontist department, not the Dr. or assistants, its the office staff. Part of it is my fault, I should have done more research than I did. They are only there one Friday a month so if something happens in between, they basically tell you, you have to wait to be seen but the dentistry part will do what they can to macgyver it till then. That is if you actually ever get in touch with the ortho office staff because you have to call the dentist office and they send an email for someone to call you back. I showed up for my first appt after they opened back up from Covid and all of a sudden I have to have my teeth cleaned before they will see me again. Now not only is this the first time they even remotely mentioned it, I could not find it in the contract I signed. Either way I scheduled it but had to cancel because I had to have an emergent surgery. Before I could even say I would call back once I got through my surgery but before the next appt, they were already threatening me that I couldnt be seen etc. I had it done at a different dentist office before my scheduled orthodontist appt as I said I would but ended up back in the hospital the day of my ortho appt with complications from my surgery. I just called to reschedule now that Im out and it appears as though they canceled it anyway because I didnt have my cleaning except I didnt receive a call asking if I did. Advised them I did have it done just somewhere else and I had the statement. They will not reschedule my appt till I email them the statement as well as a note stating I didnt have any cavities. I just got out of the hospital and now I have to do all this before even getting it rescheduled when I should be able to just show them before or at the appt. I would pick a different orthodontist office in a heartbeat if I could so PLEASE PLEASE make sure this is somewhere you really want to go before getting locked in withthem!!!

My kids and I have been coming here for dental needs since we moved to Dallas in 2014. The staff are very friendly and explain things and procedures and are willing to answer questions.The dental service they provide is awesome.

Dr Perez is an awesome dentist with great bedside manners. He is very aatentive to detail and patients needs. However the front office does not match his level of quality, professionalism or accuracy. I think that will hender his patients loyalty and push me to seek care elsewhere and not refer family or friends going forward. Your staff is a reflection of your brand.

I have dental anxiety and have always been afraid to go to the dentist, but Dr Bean and her office always make me feel so comfortable and welcomed each time I visit. Great experience! The last dentist I visited before this tried to charge over $1000 for a deep cleaning I didnt need. This place not only cleaned my teeth but gave a much better estimate for an extraction. Super nice staff and great, informative dentists!

One of the best dental experiences Ive had recently. The reception ladies were very nice, and I was seen pretty much right away for my new-patient appointment. The office utilizes all the up-and-coming technologies that you would come to expect of the best dental offices. I had my appointment with Tuana, easily one of the most knowledgeable and easy-going dental hygienist I have come across. I can see why this place has such a high rating on Google.

We loved our visit to Peppermint! Front desk girl was very nice and informative. My kids love Dr Bean and cant wait to see her again. It was really nice chatting with the Office Manager. We will definitely stay at Peppermint Dental!

My daughter goes here for ortho. I have had nothing but terrible experience with this dentist. They are very expensive and way over charge for simple things like fillings. The orthodontist only comes by once a month. The schedule is completely inflexible. They do not care if you have a job or another obligations. Your only choice is to comply with their schedule. I have more than one child and a job so this is an extreme hardship. They have been paid in full and so they have zero interest in helping make our experience better. I would not recommend this place at all. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go! We still have a long way to go on the braces being completed and so far it has been nothing but problems.*Update* Went in for a visit on March 1st. I looked to sign in, I did not see any stickers on the sign in sheet, so I waited to sign in, the girl working the front desk showed me were there was one sticker left in the corner of the sheet. I said oh, I am sorry And signed in. She rolled her eyes at me and sighed. Honestly, this place is really terrible. Save yourself time and trouble.And your response is false you do not accommodate schedules. And you only offer one day a month for ortho visits. So even your response is misleading and untrue, proving my point above.

I hate to leave a bad review because the office staff is professional and the dentist, hygienist, and dental assistant are all top notch. Unfortunately, what I had to suffer after getting my wisdom teeth out was incredible. So much pain during the procedure while I was lead to believe it would be relatively painless. Local anesthetic might as well not have been there they really should have used more but I guess the surgeon was in a rush and didn’t care about my pain levels. I was literally screaming from pain during and I have a very high pain tolerance after years of football and chronic back pain numbed me to pain. Gave me weak painkillers after which were half of what the doctor recommended and was in tremendous pain and they wouldn’t continue it after the weak ones ran out after just a couple days. Worst of all 2+ weeks out and my jaw is incredibly tight and painful still and I highly regret coming here to get my wisdom teeth out.Feel free to come for regular cleanings but under no circumstances get your wisdom teeth taken out here!

The entire staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. Melissa was understanding as we did X-rays, Dr. Bean is very sweet and listened to my past awful experiences, and Elsie and I bonded quickly. Completely different experience from past dentists. Dr. Bean understood that I had fibromyalgia and how to work around my sensitivity to pain. Very pleased!
