This is probably my favorite nail salon! I love coming here. They have a huge selection, have plenty of employees and communicate well. Plus their hours of operation make it easy for anyone.

I used to go to a different nail salon in Carrollton but wanted to give this place a try, and it was definitely worth it!! I got a french tip with extensions and my nail technician, My, was amazing! This other lady, who seemed to be the owner, was very welcoming and kind as well. I will definitely be coming back to this salon! Thank you and you guys are amazing :)

Second try with this place since its near my house. Second disappointing experience. Polish was very thick out of the bottle so though the technician thinned out a bit. While that may have helped, she applied it in 2 very thick coats that werent even (see photos). When I had to ask her to clean up the edges, she seemed a little irritated. She put me under a uv light while she rushed around to prep a pedicure station, then she declared my nails dry. As I was driving away, I realized that while the polish surface may have been dry, the thick coats were not. The surface was essentially floating on top. NOT going to give them another try. It seemed like the regular clients were very happy to be there.

This is the only nail place I go to. They actually just moved next door to the original location and expanded their salon. It looks amazing and is so much more spacious. I have never left here unhappy or dissatisfied. I have also never had my nails done with such precision and perfection. The staff is also always friendly and accommodating and if you go pretty regularly, they tend to remember you and what services you usually get.

I have been coming to 1st for nails since I moved to Carrollton and I have tried other nail salons around and no one has ever made me happier than this place! Lena is amazing and so professional! Linh is so friendly and does amazing work and so do all the ladies here! The salon is clean and beautiful and relaxing. The pedicure chairs are so comfortable and everything is sterilized and up to code! Come and check them out! You won’t be disappointed :)

I just moved to Carrollton from Euless, so I needed to find another nails place. And I think I found them at this salon. It was some miscommunication at first, and I was upset and mad. But it was how the lady who did my feet and nails went about it, she wasn’t rude and tried her best to make me happy. I’ll be back!

Carralton area full sets dont include the tip. The tip is extra. The prices listed inside this shop are not correct. Nor is the price correct online. Full set overlay is $28. You want the tips that should be included with the full set. Any other nail shop in the dallas or ft worth, even Plano Frisco area dont charge extra. A regular pedi is $28 without foot scrub. They charged $38 to scrub your feet. No no no not how pedicures work. Also They wrapped paper towels in between your toes vs buying the pedi sponge that keeps your toes separated. At $25 pedies you get that anywhere else. That is cheap and ghetto to charge that much & wrap peoples toes with paper towels. I was part of a 10 group wedding party. We made reseverations b4 arrival they told us to wait. We should have gone to dallas or dfw area to a different shop. Pedicures took almost 2 hours. The bride didnt even get her nails done in that time frame. The jr bridesmaids were upcharged $42 for a set of nails. They were kids. This place didnt have kids pricing they charge adult prices. Thats crazy. The flower girl got gel nails and a design. They charged me $43 just for her kid nails. The nail techs kept stopping doing several of the wedding party nails and or feet to get walk ins and thier regular customers in. In total we were there 3.5 hours. The bride had to leave and get her nails done elsewhere. She talked to the manager on the phone bc of the upcharge on everyones service. This shop told us one price but when my service was done it was a higher price. The staff disregarded what the owner agreed to for our wedding party. Of course this caused the staff to become rude & talked not in English. I sat for 2 hours in a pedi chair for someone to do my feet. Which resulted in just a $15 polish change bc i got white polish. So $12 for regular colors. This place is nice inside, but Ive had better service at nicer shops.

These ladies are so friendly and the salon has a child princess pedi chair😍 very different from other places Ive been to and my niece (3yrs) loved the pedi chair although she is still too little to use it we definitely will be back

This is a very nice, clean, & updated nail salon. During this pandemic, or rather, when they re-opened, they made sure to do everything according to the original CDC guidelines. That made me feel much better about going into a crowded environment.They do much more than just nails & pedicures, but I can only speak for the quality of their manicures. Lynh, the owner, is so accommodating and willing to do just about anything you ask. I am the caregiver for a woman who has been going to 1st for nails for over 20 years! She refuses to go anywhere else, so that is where I gladly take her & where I have had my nails done, as well. My client has a difficult time with mobility, and the employees of 1st for Nails are always very helpful and go out of their way to make my client feel beautiful again. Try 1st for Nails...you wont be sorry!

So I care in today with my wife for a pedicure and I got a really sweet lady who took her time. My wife was so jealous she didnt get mad at me for twitching when she got under my feet, I am super ticklish. She kept on working regardless of me looking like a hyena.My wife watched her work on me and kept texting me during the session saying how good she was. The reason that matters is because my wife used to do nails and knew who did a good and bad job. The ladies here are so mature, they speak softly and didnt talk bad about anyone . I know because my wife told me. Great place!

I have sculpted nails and needed a fit and repair on one nail..I had the service done last Tuesday. Two of my nails have already broken and the fill was done horribly. Im from Kansas City Missouri and seeing my regular nail person to fix this mess today.

Ming hooked it up walk-in, seated quickly and 3 different designs. She was very sweet and engaging very good first time visit definitely coming back.

I have been here several times and I even recommended to other ladies, but I will not go there no more, the lady that did my nails was grabbing my fingers too hard and when I pull back or move just a little, she said with a mean tone NO MOVE o Ill CUT YOU!! I was like 😱😱. Never ever. My friend said they did the same to her.I didnt say anything because I was embarrassed with other people there, I felt like a child. This is supposed to be where we relive our stress but instead they are not too nice

This was absolutely THE BEST pedicure Ive ever received! Susan did such a wonderful job and her attention to detail was awesome!! Her massage was the best too! I got the Deluxe pedicure and it was worth every penny!! They just got new pedicure chairs too and the massaging features are really strong!! Brand new chairs, Susan was FANTASTIC and their friendliness is unmatched. I HIGHLY recommend coming here and I will definitely be back!!

I will give 100 stars for their staff if I could. They are hardworking and though they do not speak english well they are very kind. Tried their best to exceed customer expectations! Michelle and her mom are amazing! The 1 star and if only I could give ZERO is for the owner. The owner is very rude and unprofessional. She is being passive aggressive to me. Just because most asians are nice and does not fight back, she thinks she can be bossy to me even though I am not an employee but a CUSTOMER. You dealt with the wrong woman lady! 😏 Also, mani and pedi here are overpriced. I can work with the prices but definitely I am not going back because of the owner—Lynn. 😊

Was not given what I had asked for instead of the dark Pink Acrylic Powder I wanted, somewhere in between tech decided to do the dip powder pink instead of what I asked for I ended up paying 48.00+10 tip and by the 3rd day my hair was getting caught underneath about 3 fingernails on each hand from the nails already detaching and coming off! NOT SATISFIED WITH THE PRICE FOR THE POOR QUALITY SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED, granted this was my first time here. Very unfortunate and very discouraged and disappointed!!! Would like a refund for half of my money back!!

Came here to get my eyelashes done. They were really nice... But it’s only been five days and most of the lashes have fallen out. Also, on one eye, she put the extension so close to my eyelid that my eyelid swelled up for three days. I finally had to pull out like 6 lashes to alleviate the swelling. I’ve been getting extensions for a long time and have never experienced this. I recently moved and am in search of a new lash person, but this is not the place! The lashes were beautiful on the first day but didn’t last long and were painful. $120+tip down the drain.

They are so respectful, you dont always get that at nail salons. The pedicures are great, i reccomend the lavender or chocolate pedi. Ive gotten my nails done plenty of places but they are by far the best becuase of how personable they are. They give you a huge basket of swatches to choose from so they can do any color you can think of. Ive gotten french tips, almond, coffin and stiletto shape acrylics here and they were perfect. They do powder dips so i dont have to worry about color chipping and thats nice. They have wine and masage chairs of course. They stay busy but its worth the wait. Everyone wants to get their nails done here. The guy who works this is hilarious and talented.

I have been a customer for quite a while. I dont visit as often as I would love to, but these ladies are awesome. I always get my deluxe pedicure done. I have never had any of the ladies rush through it. I love their massage chairs, usually there is not a long wait and walk ins are welcomed. I truly recommend this place. I have been to other salons in the past but none of them can surpass the service and neatness of this place.

The manager is very nice and efficient! They always give you choices of services. Appointments are easy to get. Just call and they put you down -even same day. This is a very busy salon, but I never feel rushed. I make an appointment each and every time I go. Expect to wait a few minutes with an appointment. I promise it is worth it! They have great massage chairs and the scrub they use smells wonderful! They are very nice and show concern. I am given to a different nail tech each time. They are professional and overcome language barriers well when communicating (hand gestures, tap on the leg, etc..). I was lectured once about waiting too long between pedicures. I had a very good reason, but was not asked. It had been 6 weeks since I had been in. I would recommend them, just dont wait too long between visits!

Love this place. Im the kind of person who doesnt want to chat during manicure/pedicure. They did a great job on me while I sat there in silence relaxing me nerves. Yes they mainly communicate in their own language but its not like they chat all the time when they are working. I also saw other customers chat with the ladies helping them. It seems like if youre determined to make conversation they would surely respond. I will definitely be back.

Ive been going to 1st For Nails for the past 10 years. I have a hard time finding other salons that take as much pride in their work as they do here. I live a bit further than Id like, but I make the drive anyway because its worth it to me. The staff is friendly, well trained, and I my nails and polish are always quality and last until my next visit. I love 1st For Nails!

This is going to be my new nail salon! The ambience was good, my nails were perfect. She took a while, or a bit longer than normal but I rather her take her time and do it right then make me feel like the bad guy for being picky about the shape and finish... etc.

I have been going to this salon for years and I couldnt ask for a more professional technician. Both Tina and Kathy know without conversation how to care for my hands and feet. Its always clean and Lynn leaves enough room between appointments so that you are not waiting. Great place and a fair price.

I have been going here since 2014 and I have yet to have a bad experience. Lynn is my go-to girl for the NextGen nails and they always turn out flawless! They do get pretty busy, so I would recommend making an appointment. I used to live nearby, and now I’m a bit of ways away, but the drive is so so worth it. You’re really getting what you pay for. I plan on continuing to be a loyal customer!

I’ve been there 2 times and today was 3rd time going there. I should’ve never gone back. I went in to get a pedicure and manicure and it was terrible ! The lady did not even try. You can see where she missed some spots and the edges didn’t have pain. I wasted 45$ for nothing.

It was nice they had chairs for my daughter to get her nails done. The only problem I had was I specifically told them what to do on her nails seeing as she wanted a bunch of extras and instead of listening to what I wanted them to do the deadweight a six-year-old wanted to do and I ended up spending twice as much as I had planned on spending about 100 bucks for two people to get their nails and toes done. Which would not have been that bad if the person doing my nails would have at least attempted to have a conversation with me before it was time to pay

I have been going to 1st For Nails for over 15 years and I will continue to be a loyal and happy customer. Years ago I used to try other salons when I moved over 30 miles away, but I soon stopped bothering with anyone else and made the drive. The quality and consistency here are unparalleled and I cant recommend highly enough!

They treated me horribly. I was getting my nails done and I asked her to do them a little longer than I previously had them and she ended up doing then double the length and I couldn’t really see because she didn’t let me pull my hand back. When I proceeded to ask her if she could shorten them she got mad because she already started to put the dip on. So she decided to file the the nails and not fill in the spots she left white on. And the manager yelled at me in front of the entire shop and it was embarrassing and then she proceeded after yelling at me to talk badly about me loudly in her own language. I had to pay $45 for nails that I did not like at all.

They do great work on my toes - especially the toe with the fungus in the nail - they really get after it! Great calf massages and hot stone treatment as well.

I am definitely impressed with Nancy. She took her time, didn’t rush and ensured the massage was long enough 😀 I recommend the lavender pedi, I really enjoyed it.

I go to this place all of the time and my nails always look amazing. I went a couple of days ago and the woman, Kimberley was doing my nails. Shes worked there a while and Ive seen her in previous years so she wasnt new. I asked for coffin shaped nails and she didnt know how to do them, so she had a coworker do them for her, but that coworker was already in the middle of working on another customers nails so she had to hurry and do them. Before that, Kimberley was removing the Nexgyn and I was sitting there for a good 40 minutes with the foil and cotton balls around my nails to get the powder off. It never takes that long. She went extremely slow and I was nearly there for about 2 hours when in all actuality it shouldve been about an hour and fifteen minutes, at the latest, an hour and thirty minutes. She was also doing my cuticles and she cut them back so far to the point of bleeding. I was getting two colors and I wanted the pink on my ring fingers and the blue-green on the rest of the fingers. She put the blue on my ring finger so I had to change which finger I was doing the pink on. She tried to refile my nails and they ended up being so sharp that when I scratched myself by accident it cut me and it stung. It was a very unpleasant experience and I paid $37 dollars for something I didnt even want. I am definitely not having Kimberley do my nails ever again. As you can see in the second photo, my nails arent even the same shape.

I usually love this place but I had an appointment at 2pm. I waited for 30 min and they still let a walk in sit before me. Next time all just walkin since the have priority

I have been here several times to see only Lena because she does a really good job as far as applying the next gen powder and her white Solar tips are always on point. Now her shaping can be better but I figured we can work on that together. I cant deal with her HORRIBLE ATTITUDE any more though. My last time going here was about two weeks ago and Lena was so rough with my nails she CUT ME AND I BLEED, SHE THREW THE BOX OF POWDER POLISH AT ME WHEN IT GOT HER WAY, ON TOP OF THAT WHEN I TOLD HER SHE WAS FILING MY NAILS TO NARROW SHE STARTED TOSSING THINGS AROUND THROWING A TEMPER TANTRUM AND MUMBLED UNDER HER BREATH I DONT WANT TO DO YOUR NAILS! The whole time the owner heard it all and didnt say anything. I kept my cool because I had to get my nails done ASAP. This is not the first time I stop coming here because of Lenas bad attitude but that day was the worst and I have given this place more chances then they deserve. Im on the search to find a new nail technician somewhere else because I refuse to be treated like this from anyone for any reason.

Switched nail salons about 6 months ago and its been amazing!

If there was a no star button i would most definitely choose that one. It was my first time ever being there and well these ladys dont bother saying hello or nothing they literally yelled at me telling what i wanted and once i sat down i waited for 40 min and while i sat down they had walk ins and sure enough they atended before me. I rarely ever write reviews but this place seriously needs more friendly service.

Awful and rude employees. I walk in, they all just stare at me and dont even greet me. I walk in and walk out. Peoples reviews are so much different than the actual experience. Horrible horrible people.
