First time customer. Had an appointment for an oil change. Had an awesome experience. They got to my car quickly and was out of there in great time. The general manager there was awesome. I believe his name was Mike Shelton. He made sure that my car was taking car of and informed me of future maintenance my car would need. He even gave me a price breakdown. I will definitely be coming back for future maintenance on my car

Came here to get wheel alignment for my Camry after getting crazy estimate from toyota dealership. The employees were all nice and throughout with what needs to be repaired, what not, maintenance recommendation,…. Price was also affordable. Overall, great experience. Highly recommend this place

This is our go-to place for auto repairs. The prices are good, everyone is helpful and friendly, and they always go above and beyond (ex. filling up tires and replacing wiper fluid for free). Angelo in particular is really nice. Weve had nothing but good experiences here.

Had an appointment for a front end alignment on my Nissan Frontier. After diagnosing the issue I was brought back and shown what they found. Andrew was very thorough in his explanation and what he thought was the best course of action. I feel like Andrew was honest and wasnt taking advantage of me to make his company a few extra dollars. This is my first review of a place ever. I dont typically write them. Thats how GOOD this place is. They were able to get my car in quickly and swiftly diagnose the problem. They told me my problem, what caused it, and even were honest about how long the other parts could have lasted and told me when it was needed right then to replace. They even offered a shuttle TO AND FROM my house after they had my car. I will 1000% only using this place for any future repairs.

They want $150 just to look at it. Then they want $150 an hour to work on it. The thing is I had already had the shocks brakes and struts and stalls brand new within a month somewhere else before. But I was getting a weird sound out of the front left. Possibly wanted them to identify the problem and fix it. He said itd be $150 to diagnosis and I said well does that $150 come off the repair and they said no thatd be another hundred and fifty. This job probably would have taken them anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Im not paying $300 an hour. He said something about since everything had been recently in newly installed is why it was going to cost so much. Apparently they wanted all the work. It wasnt very helpful

Very quick and did an inspection for free. Called Midas before them and was told $29.95 for an inspection, which is ridiculous. I paid half of what other companies were quoting. Andrew was very helpful. I will return if I have issues with something else.

Told them I needed to have my truck looked at as I thought i needed my rack and pinion replaced and was told i needed some additional work done as well. They put it on the lift - looked at it and then showed me what i needed and didnt need. Told them to go ahead and do the work - The Manager Adam, offered and then drove me back to my apt while they did the work. Called me later when it was finished and said they were busy would it be ok if he sent an UBER to bring me back to the garage. WHO DOES THAT?When i got to the garage he told me they found some other issues and that they took care of them as well. The cost was much less than i was quoted at another facility. I could not be happier with the work they did and service they gave. Adam was very straight forward, honest and helpful. I very much appreciate everything he and his staff did to help me. - I will be back...

I recently had brakes done at a different car care shop @ off Fyke and Josey. Brakes Plus repaired them in the correct order. Not only was Adam @ GM, Joe @ Tech, and Ryan the Service Advisor true professionals, they had my 97 Dodge Ram stopping the way it should be. They completed the work in a timely manner and was still able to save me money. This was the work of true professionals. I will bring my truck back again for any type of service. This was my first time to use Brakes Plus. The service was great, they got me in as soon as I arrived, an hour before closing. But they replaced my brakes - even had to stay a little bit past closing for them to complete the work. They have fair prices and good mechanics. I will come back again!

I recently had my daughters vehicle towed to the shop with no idea why it failed to start. We thought it was the starter so when the technician called and said they needed to do electrical Diagnostics, I was skeptical. The tech answered all of my questions gave me exact pricing and then called me back promptly with a positive diagnosis of ignition switch failure. She is back on the road! The people are good and friendly and Ryan helped with cost . The only reason why I gave them 3 is because as soon as we drove down the street our breaks didn’t break . We turned around and they all left for the day lights were off . We just got other things done beside our breaks because it was needed and I wish they would have waited for us to test it ourselves. We almost rear ended a car and now have to wait until 8 am to talk to someone because it’s not even breaking . I’ll give an update::update ::My husband called after taking the car back they want us to pay for additional things after lacking to fix it right!My car was returned more messed up after they fixed the caliber .We were explained that the hose was damaged from the previous caliber and that the blame is on our dealership because the car was sold to us that way.They lack the point that even if the dealership sold us the car I am paying for them to correct the issue because it’s a safety issue.If they knew from the get go that the hose was an issue they should have said something the day of repair! A professional would have said from the beginning if we change this we need to change this as well because this can happen .not change one thing and leave out the other causing damage and a potential wreck!No one waited for us to insure the car was drivable everyone rushed out to get home .Honestly doing your breaks here sure if your desperatebut if you need other services I wouldn’t at all get a second opinion !I saw a previous review that had similar issue wish I would have seen that prior to our visit.General manager Adam just kept adding fuel to the fire . came down to him rudely saying i am just mad I am not getting what I want with sarcasm. He didn’t bother diffusing the situation so it made this experience more irritating, upsetting and down right feeling like we got token advantage of. A managers responsibility is to listen and diffuse the situation not make it worse .*** update ***My husband informed me that the general manager helped cover the repairs. I appreciate that they did that though I wish the first conversation was better in the end it was fixed.thank you for that

It’s hard to find high levels of service, knowledgeable and trustworthy guys at the same time . Brought a car in that another tech at another repair shop would need breaks shortly. Ryan and his team said they were not needed and would not be for 8-10k miles or more. That’s a year or longer for that car.Brought another car here about 6 months ago and they got work done faster than promised, gave me a coupon I did not have as well. I’ll be bringing all of my vehicles here for brakes, fluid flushes, and oil changes from now on. These folks deserve your business.

Came to get my rear drums serviced, which I usually would never do since I work on my own vehicles. But I was short on time and space. The team took care of it very quickly. A few days after I realized that they had forgotten 2 lug nuts, or didn’t put them on because damaged or whatever reason. I came back and they ordered and replaced them no questions asked. I took my car in making one set of noise and brake system light on and left with her making a different sound. Brake light notification went off but I am not sure why it has a no transmission fluid sound... clarity - I got new brakes on all 4 tires, brake fluid changed and an oil change. Great staff and crew. Called and asked for me bring it back to ✔ it out. They read their reviews and follow up with their customers... Im impressed...

Brakes Plus is THE BEST!! I’ve been using them for years, and I refuse to take my car anywhere else. Whenever I take my car in, the staff is great about keeping me updated on it’s progress, informing me of exactly what’s going on, and providing thorough details of how they’re fixing it. As someone who has very little knowledge of cars, it is so nice to be able to take my vehicle somewhere for service and repairs and know that I will always receive high quality service at a great price. I’ve had my fair share of experiences at other places where I get pressured into purchasing something optional/unnecessary, have things done without my permission, get charged extremely high amounts, etc. That has never happened with Brakes Plus! Seriously! If you’re looking for a place to take your car that operates with integrity and has great customer service, this is the place!

Ste 100, Carrollton, TX 75007and there were times when the service and actions were not a the level expected. This new set of management seems dedicated to making the visit worthwhile.

Great place to come if you don’t value your time.If you need somewhere that offers the cheapest possible service and you don’t ever have to work it probably would workout great.I was explicitly told bring your vehicle by and we can let you know in 30 minutes what you need done. I get there and I’m told I’ll need to leave my car there all day, just to get an inspection.Give me a break. No apology either, nothing done to try and make it right. Go to a real mechanic.

I had my Fuel Sending Unit replaced in my 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT. Service Advisor Ryan Wood and Hugh the Mechanic did an excellent job. Ryan was very friendly and professional and Hugh was very meticulous and thorough. I highly recommend Brakes Plus for all of your vehicle repair needs!

It was my first time coming to this location. Adam was very helpful. He walked me step by step on what was wrong with my car, keep me updated on the work they were doing, and worked with me to find a price that wouldnt break the bank.I really appreciated that he explained things in terms I could understand and didnt try to pressure me into getting unnecessary things. The other staff were very professional as well. They were so friendly and went above and beyond with their customer service

Stopped at this place for a second opinion. Turns out they agreed with the first location and quoted me about the same price. They managed to work with me given the current economic state of the entire country and gave me a great deal. This location deserves 10 stars for their integrity and dedication to service. I highly recommend visiting this place if you are able to and hopefully provide jobs for these honest employees. Its times like this that show who people really are and the people at Brakes Plus are great, trustworthy people.

No masks being worn, their inspection machine was apparently down and they werent expecting it to be back up until Tuesday. Also if maintaining social distancing is important why not take some of the stuff out of your waiting room so you can seat more than two people to keep distance in a 12x12 room. Thankfully their inspection machine was down so I wouldnt have to wait outside in 90 degree weather.

I went in for just my brakes and turns out I needed a bunch of other things done. They gave me a price to fix everything, but I only had just enough for my brakes. I cant recall the managers name who helped me a out a great deal.. The price he gave me to fix two things on my car after really needing both front and back brakes and rotors, was very much appreciated! Great customer service, great prices even before the help and not to long of a wait.
