I had stopped in to have my tire pressure checked and was told that I needed new tires, it wasnt what I wanted to hear but I got a great deal and Chris was very helpful and even offered me a credit card for 6 months interest free. I was out in about 30 minutes. Everyone was super nice.

Ive spent probably $15k here in the last 4 years with personal and business vehicles. Ive also referred at least 15 people here. Last time I went for a nail in the center of my tire and dropped it off trusting them. Manager called me up and said they found another hole in the tire that was (you guessed it) too close the the edge to repair. I physically inspected every inch of that tire before dropping it off, and I did not see anything. The tire was holding air when I dropped it off. Additionally, they told me I had to replace 2 tires, with a more expensive brand, rather than utilizing the brand new unused spare tire of the same size, and putting the older tire on the spare. I 100% did not need 2 tires, and most-likely didnt need even one. They did not offer to show me the other hole in the tire, despite me telling them that I did not believe there was one. I completely believe they took advantage of loyal customer to make a quick $1000 sale. I will not be back, will recommend others find a different shop.

Lets be honest, buying new tires isnt the most fun you can have on a weekday morning but Chris and his team were great. Kept me updated during the whole process and got me in and out quickly. Definitely recommend!

My visit had to do with replacing two tires. I dropped off my vehicle and picked it back up with no issue. However the day after I had a warning light on one of the new tires. This issue kept coming back every two days after adding air, so I knew I had a leak in one of the new tires. I brought the car back in for it to be repaired, which was inconvenient - but it happens. I dropped the car off again and when I went to pick it up the 2nd time, the young man that assisted me asked if anyone called me about the problem they had. I told him no. He was not knowledgeable enough to explain to me what exactly happened, and the person that was in the garage earlier that dealt with my car was not there. The manager was also not present. The man explained to me that what happened was that one of the 5 bolts to that tire was snapped off, and went into saying that it is really the person that worked on the car previouslys fault for over-tighting the bolt, not realizing that it was Discount Tire that did it not a few days before. I asked him what we were going to do about it, and he said he wasnt sure because none of his superiors were there. He then went on to recommend I go to Christian Brothers Automotive to get it repaired, and then bring the receipt in to them in order for them to refund that happening, which I intend to do. It is frustrating because I do not have that type of out of pocket money right now. I want it to be worked out between the two companies considering Discount Tire damaged my car.

I came in only to fix a flat I had on one of my tires, but the staff that came out to check my car let me know that all my tires needed to be changed and there was an alignment issue. So throughout a few days I had been in contact with Kevin and he helped me out with which tires to get and wheels. If you have any questions about anything feel free to reach out to them because they are more than happy to help you out. The rest of the staff is polite and courteous to everyone that goes into the store. Highly recommend!

I have visited twice and received excellent service both times for two different vehicles. Employees are professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. I liked being able to see the product details that they discussed with me. I didnt have a long wait on either visit and trusted that my investments were worthwhile. A coworker recommended this chain to me when I experienced a slow leak on a tire, and Im glad that I chose to get my tires inspected and serviced here.

From phone call to greeting me into the bay door... Logan at Discount Tire replaced two worn out tires with two new tires in 15 minutes for @ $200. Im never blown away with great service in 2021... but Today I AM! Thank you DT and Logan.

Everyone here is VERY nice but the service is sooooooooooooo slow. Maybe they need more employees but every time I come here I’ve spent at least 2 hours.I came today to get one tire put on that I had to wait for since it needed to be ordered and again ...... 2 hour wait .....Please hire more employees for these nice people.

I think Ive bragged on this location before; but after my service today, they deserve another bragging. DT always has to order tires for my car because I want Goodyear. No biggie. I dropped in a week ago to order the tires. Tires came in quickly and I inadvertently procrastinated a few days before I rang up for an appointment. See, Ive learned the best way to get in and out is MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. Usually, I book myself via their website. This time I called and let them book it. I showed up for my appointment on time at 3:15. I was quickly and efficiently checked in. This was some speedy service today! I live around the corner and was back inside my apartment at 3:43. I REALLY appreciated this because I have a dinner date tonight and Im cooking. Im back to prepping dinner for this evening. Thanks, dudes!

Not a good experience at all. The only place in town with a key to my lug nuts and for some reason say it’s gonna be two hours. I see two car in a 4 bay shop all I need is my lug nuts switched do to a lock nut absolutely ridiculous. I guess it more important to huddle up a y’all then do your job

I went to another DT location yesterday. They wanted nearly $300 (lowest $124). The employee spoke over me often, ignored some of my questions, and explained things poorly. I paid the $274 but, when I stepped out to start waiting-I just felt wrong about it. I know they get commission, but I told this man I am in Grad school/struggling financially. I went back in for my refund and left.Today, I went to this location, and Ruben let me walk out to my car with him. He actually explained things/didnt try to upsell me. Now I know a little more about my car than I did before. Total was $118. Shout out to Ruben and also, Logan who was super sweet during the handoff. Give that boy a raise for loyalty- he told me not to bad mouth the other location in this review. They saved Discount Tires from losing a loyal customer.

Have used this location for about 13 years. Always was a huge fan. Sold me a twin staggered pair of Falken. In less than 10,000 miles during the pandemic front tires wore off. Said so and they they said too late and deal with it. Took the hit and had them fix a leak on passenger back tire now leaking on the same fix. Told them the tires were trash but the wouldnt give me the time of day despite all the years of loyalty. I still have warranty and will get that fix ref-fixed again but will probably move business elsewhere.

I had purchased a set of tires from the Discount location in Granbury and needed some minor repair in Carrollton. i didn’t just have a nail in my tire, i had a bolt! i pulled in the Carrollton location at around 5:30p w no appointment - and they were busy. the guy got my info, pulled my car into a bay and took care of it within 15 mins. pulled the bolt out, patched my tire, aired it up and got me on my way. all of this for NO CHARGE! couldn’t believe it! thanks, Discount Tire!

Before arriving, I called to see how busy they were. I was told they werent very busy and to come on over.I pulled in, was greeted in a timely manner and then my car was pulled into a station.I went inside to read, and wait, and before I knew it my tires had been rotated and the air pressure taken care of.The employees there were kind and I had no issues. I trust Discount Tire and know they will not try to get me to pay for any work that isnt necessary.

Back in early January I drove from Houston to Dallas for a hair appointment. Little did I know, my front tires were almost dangerously worn and they needed to be replaced ASAP. I took my car across the street during a one hour break in my appointment and even though they had a lot of customers they were able to get me two new tires installed and back to my appointment on time. I0/10 service!!

I pulled up with a flat tire 34 minutes after they had closed. Chris the store manager was going home with a few other employees and took the time to look at my car and tell me what he could do and how we could work on it in the morning and made me feel so good and calm and confident. One thing I would recommend is neither Chris nor I thought about what what I should do with my car key fob, and there was no Dropbox that I could find. This is by the Addison airport and I live in Prosper. Well if I have to drop off my key fob on the way to work tomorrow then I will. I do commend the demeanor and customer care true to Discount Tires core values.

Waited 25 minuets trying to leave my tire and wheel to get repaired. No body came to help after 25 minuets I left. It shouldn’t take 25+ minuets to drop off a tire, so I can get back to work and pick it up when it’s ready. Although the curbside drop off should be quick and easy. Prices were kinda medium to high and they took 2 hours to exchange ONE tire (I waited in store to speed the process, I thought). I saw they had 6 cars in front of me (I counted each one that went in before mine). The only positive is that they did the job for me.Would I recommend them? I mean if it were a second or last choice, sure. As a first choice, probably not because 2 hours for a tire change is ridiculous. Especially since the store specializes in tire changing.

Had new tires put on here, they are nice people and the prices are good. My main issues is they dont properly check for your cars correct tire pressure. My car is supposed to be 33/30 Front/back. When they installed the new tires they put in the MAX PSI for each tire. This isnt the proper way to do it, and the pressure should be set to the recommended value by the manufacturer. (Assuming youre using manufacturer recommend tires/sizes). I think this is a tremendous disservice to a lot of people who arent going to double check this. Not running the correct PSI for your car can have effects on steering, traction, and life of the tires. The recommended specs are printed on the driver door and easy to read. No real excuse for this other than lack of training, and desire to do so.

They tried to sell me 4 new tires briefly. You gotta expect that. They pulled my tire, found a nail, rebalanced it and put me on the road again for $0. Im impressed.Ill recommend this outfit to my family who lives here in Dallas.

I wanted to let yall know, on June 26, 2019 I came in to get my tires balanced on my 2010 Nissan Titan. When I left this location, my tires did not feel any better. It actually felt worse.t The people working on my truck was a young skinny guy with glasses and another his panic, heavier set guy. (saying that in a nice way) I wanted to take it back because I felt like something was not right. However, Its hard to leave work. I just came in today, August 21, and the gentleman who drove my truck in and out of the service area(maybe he was a manager?) was very polite, and told me what I needed to know. He advised me that my tires were really off balance and basically it was not safe.I should have mentioned to him that it could have been due to the poor tire service I received the last visit. I think yall might need to train the young guy with the glasses to avoid this situation from happening again in the future. Now, the truck rides a lot better and I am super satisfied with the gentleman and wanted him to get recognition! He was very caring and honest. Thank you.

Curbside service. I made an appointment the day before. I had a screw in my tire. No charge and 40 min wait. Everyone had on mask including service staff. Chairs were spaced out inside and outside.

They got me in and out within 15 minutes of the time I was told my car would be finished. Im happy.

Customer service at the Carrolton location is a sham. I brought my company van in for a simple TPM sensor recalibration and was told it would be two hours and told them I would wait in the lobby. I watched six other customers walk in ask how long the wait was and drop off there vehicles and then return and pick up there vehicles while I continued to wait and watch,my van never moved or was even approached for the light. FINALLY after a THREE HOUR WAIT I watch the van being pulled in and worked on. After receiving my keys and the company van back I climb in and find that I am missing a power bar and one has had a bite taken out of it and then turned over and placed back into the door pocket, spare change was missing from out of the dash holder. I would not recommend this Discount tire as they are untrustworthy and prioritize who they wanna help. In other words wear yoga pants to get prompt service at this station as that seems to be the deciding factor.

I took my moms car here for tire rotation today. She is 85 and I am 60. No employees were wearing masks in the lobby. This is unacceptable. No matter how good your service is, vulnerable people will not be able to shop here if you do not do a better job of protecting your customers and employees. Very disappointed.

Air pressure was low in one of my tires, stopped to get a free tire pressure check and found out from Tyler that I had not one but two nails in both left side tires. He told me to check inside because they do free flat fixes. An hour later at no charge both my tires were fixed by Reuben and Tyler. So grateful the service was fast everyone was knowledgeable and best of all free. My tires were not from there not did I have any warranty in fact it was a rental car.

I had a really great experience with my purchase of a new set of tires. I recently went to the dealer who gave me an estimate and I researched Discount Tire and picked my tires prior to going in. The salesmen were very pleasant and asked me questions and more importantly listened. He actually picked the same tires out that I had researched prior to going in. It took approximately 45 minutes and I was out with a warranty and maintenance for SUV. It was a much better deal and I saved money on what it would have cost me at the dealer.

Had wheels rotated and front wheels re-balanced. Found a screw in 1 tire and had it repaired. Replaced bad valve stem on trailer wheel. Took some time because they were very busy but crew was great and price was right.

The store did a great job on getting me back on the road. I recently got 4 new Run Flat tires installed and the TPMS sensor didnt reset and the technician took the time and used the hand held device to check all 4 sensors and double checked that the sensor was off and extended an apology for me having to return. Very professional and polite! I had a good experience and recommend this store.

The service was excellent, the work in the garage was well done. My tire had a nail in it and the service man removed the tire, put a patch on the inside of the tire and a plug from the outside of the tire. He also used a buffer to clean my rim and where it mounted on to the car. Thank you Discount Tire.

Had flat but the associate said they could not change it in the time I needed to make it to work on time. So I, in their parking lot, started to change it myself. Then the manager or owner came out to help and fixed it himself. I ended up buying 2 tires. He got me out on time. I appreciate him paying attention to his customers. Little pricey though.

I always receive fantastic service from discount tire. However, with their new certificate program. They failed to ask me if I wanted additional coverage, which I dont. I was charged an extra 100 dollars for 2 tires. I understand they can be very busy. Yet, I had even set up an appointment to buy these tires and I was sure to uncheck the certificate box.I emailed the manager with my concern and I have not received a reply. Ive used discount tires since I started driving. However, the Ford dealership has a price match guarantee.

I cannot say enough good about this location..each time I have had to go in, the staff has been very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and they go above and beyond. The most recent time was last week and I showed up right before 6 to get my tire patched; although they close at 7, they made sure they got me in and stayed late until everyones vehicle was finished. What ever your tire needs are, go to Discount Tire..you wont be disappointed!

Was told tire rotation would take hour to hour and a half. Note - Tires being rotated were bought and changed by same Discount Tire location. Leave vehicle. Have to occupy time with three year old in heat (over 100 degrees). Get call almost hour and a half later saying that they did not have proper materials and could not rotate tires. No one apologized. Just made excuses. Very poor customer service. Will not be back.

I visited this location on Tuesday afternoon at 3pm, a relatively busy time. I met with Anthony, the manager, who helped me out. He was super courteous, knowledgeable, and explained to me the many options I had in terms of purchasing a tire to replace my flat. I had scheduled an appointment so the auto techs began working on my car within 15 minutes of my arrival.I will definitely return if Ive ever got another flat. I highly recommend their services.
