Id give zero stars if it were an option. Ive been trying to call in to ask abiut work on my car and this Firestone doesnt answer their phones. Funny how this is a brand shop and they dont do their jobs. Ive called over 8 times and no one has answered the phone. Pretty sad how this shouldnt happen at a brand shop...

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I had taken my car here for a routine oil change (full synthetic) in May. 3 MONTHS LATER, the engine completely seized and discovered there wasnt a drop of oil in there. The oil drain plug was also stripped, which means they never did an oil change in May (cause there is no way they could have removed that plug). Firestone claims the vehicle burns oil. 5.5 QTS in 3 months??!! Do yourself a favor and find a place with qualified mechanics and ownership.

They quoted me $990ish for a $200 brake & rotor job. Just ask your mechanic friends & local shops for help, not firestone.

I had a great experience at this particular Firestone. Mike really took the time to explain in detail what I needed to get done in order to get my car fixed and in the best working condition. Patrick was also very helpful as he answered any questions I had when I called to ask additional questions about my vehicle. Mike and Patrick are both great guys and definitely went the extra mile for me. I will definitely be coming back to this particular location for any of my cars needs. I will also be recommending family and friends to this Firestone location as well.

I wish I had something good to say, I really do. I called ahead, and they had 1 car in the lot. I dropped it off and left. An hour later they tell me they cant garuntee the alignment is going to be right because its heigher in the rear. Its a pickup truck. Their expert mechanics should realize thats what they do, and I had 3 other shops confirm this because I was so irritated. EVERY TIME I go to firestone (4 different occasions), there is SOME REASON the alignment wont be right, every time a different vehicle, with some comission driven reason. In the 3 minutes it took me to call back (I even checked), they decided to put a different vehicle on the rack, and didnt bother to tell me. 3 hours later I showed up (were at 4 hours now for an alignment btw), when I was told it was gonna be 2 hours max, its sitting in the parking lot, unlocked. THEY HADNT EVEN STARTED THE ALIGNMENT, and it was gonna be another hour and a half at least. Ive tried several times with this company, and I cant even tell you if the alignment was good. At this point they lost the chance to redeem themselves. This place is so rediculous, there was a guy there before me, and still there after I left, because they couldnt even bother to service his vehicle correct. Save your money, find a local family run facility that isnt going to lie, waste your time, and then hang up on you after you try to resolve the issue.If I could give 0 stars, Id do it in a heartbeat. I hope someone in management sees this, because Im done with your company.Attached is other people, with the exact same issue. Clearly Im not the one one here

I stopped in to have the rear brakes inspected on my 15 Jeep Renegade. I felt like the rear pads might have needed to be changed. Mike took a look at it very quickly and advised my brakes were just fine and had a decent amount of life left. Mike was great! Ive had a lot of experiences with different Firestone locations from coast to coast. Firestone always stands out from the rest!UPDATE: 4.7.19Ryan, Pat & Mike - all great! The great customer service they all provide is very much appreciated. Stress free. Definitely will keep going back.UPDATE: 6.12.19Paid another visit to Ryan, Pat and Mike for my 04 Wrangler. They fixed a bunch of stuff and Im very happy with how smooth and responsive it is now. Everyone at this Firestone location is really great. Still appreciate the work theyve done for me.

This Firestone was extremely helpful when I had a small air leak caused by nail. I had just driven into town from Michigan, so this was quite annoying. I dropped my car/keys off on a Friday evening and got a call Saturday morning that I was all patched up and ready to go. There was no charge as I bought the tires from Firestone, so that was nice. Highly recommend this location.

I will 100% be back. They were knowledgable and professional. I am sad that Pat is leaving for the Crystal Lake store. Lloyd is amazing. They did not sell me anything I did not need and were 100% upfront and honest with me.

FIRESTONE on Randall Rd, CARPENTERSVILLE.The guys here are WONDERFUL! They do a great job and theyre super nice and helpful! I know that when I bring my car here, the work is done well and I feel that theyre honest.Definitely 5 stars!

I went there simply because of the team member named Ryan. He is a knowledgable person with a great attitude. He walked me through my first experience of buying 4 brand new tires and was very helpful. I highly recommend this location on the fact of great customer service.

They called to confirm for ordering parts and scheduling appointment for service then I approved it. The appointment time I was told that there is no parts and even purchase order. They wasted my time and lost my trust. Won’t go anymore.

Ryan was phenomenal. Had a battery put in at the lake in the hills location, was told it was good to go just to get stranded a week later. Management there was not very compassionate or understanding so I brought it here. Ryan and his crew were extremely transparent through the whole process started with cheapest fix options and ended up being the alternator which was supposedly tested at the prior location. Although I asked for an oil change as well that wasnt completed Ryan to full responsibility and gave me one for free with all the hassle. With how stressful this was I cannot begin to thank Ryan for his transparency and empathy! You rock man!

Horrible shop , they dont want to do anything. If the work order is low money they will not take your vehicle at all Horrible place , so whats the point of a repair shop if they wont work on your vehicle ? No wonder the Firestone commercials are missing from TV

I was driving and knew my tires were low, my tire gauge was not in my car, I pulled in to see if they could help and Ryan took care of me right away!! It was busy but he took the time to checked my tires and filled them up ! Thank you Ryan !!!

The guys that work here, are REALLY great! Honest and they really care about their customers! We stopped in because we had a really bad set of noises coming from the wheel of the car we were driving. They looked at it right away and helped us, immediately! I would completely recommend this shop! Excellent business and customer service!!

Patrick was VERY helpful and informative and I had an all around great experience. I received a synthetic oil change and I also got new tires for my Toyota Camry amongst several filters. So it was a pamper day for my vehicle ! Had a bad experience at the lake in the hills location, this location and service has brought me back to Firestone, thank you!

Second time I have to go back twice for an alignment. I have the lifetime warranty on alignments. Hopefully Ryan can take care of the inconvenience this time as promised. Waited three hours even after showing up early for the appointment.

I am not a fan of this location... dropped off my car for an oil change and they let me know that I should anticipate that it would be completed within 90 minutes. I showed up 3.5 hours later and my car was still on the rack. Manager said... you had a nail in the tire and we needed to fix the flat. No communication that there would be a delay and even if there had been, why would an oil change and flat fix take that long??? Wont be back.

So far , so good. Staff are very professional and pleasant. My problem with other firestone stores is that they wont be upfront with you when it comes to wait time. I phoned ahead and asked for wait time and its been pretty accurate. Last time i was there, i needed a tire replaced. I was informed it will be replaced same day. i waited for about 20 minutes and was informed right away the tire wont be there that day- and i appreciate that. most stores will have you wait UNTIL THEY close to inform you the tire wont be there!!!! Came back next day and new tire was installed in less than 10 minutes! Thats service for you! Ill be going to this shop hereon and well see................

I had a major service due to some smoke coming out of Air Compressor. The Firestone team worked diligently to not only provide a great service but also with a great price.. After the fix, I took a car for a short ride and my steering wheel got jammed and I drove it back to the facility. The team figured out that it was due to rusted part in another area which was not related to work they have just finished but offered to get that fixed with no cost to me.. That is over and beyond what is normally expected. Great service, great price and great satisfaction..Paul, Abel and Mike thank you guys...

I went in for a diagnostic on a noise my car was making, and I got a lot more, including a vehicle inspection and a tire rotation for only $10. The mechanic was very forthcoming and honest and gave sound advice.

Ive always received good service at a more than fair price at this location. The manager, Mike, is always extremely helpful. The sales staff dont pressure you into buying things you dont need (or even things you probably do need). The free wifi is decent if you get stuck waiting.The only downside is they get pretty busy at times, so try to make an appointment in advance.TLDR; Good service, good prices; a good place overall to bring your car.

Shady. System failure - cabin air filter required when I had replaced it 2 days prior. Also, they estimated nearly $500 for rear brake pads and rotors. Shop around, Caseys was half.
