These guys are great! I’ve been bringing both of my cars here for maintenance. I’ve always felt that I get good value for my money and they aren’t trying to sell me services or items I don’t need.

I came in for an oil change in the middle of the day and they were able to get me in the bay immediately. They had a few cars lined up but I noticed they were getting clients on their way pretty quickly. When my vehicle was almost done, Jim came out and was very informative and helped point me in the right direction on anything else that may be needed to prep my car for the upcoming brutal Midwest winter (no pressure though). Overall very friendly, professional service, I would recommend Pit Stop to anyone and will likely come back in the future!

I was very impressed by my visit here last Tuesday. My vehicle has nearly 200k miles on it, and as such theres no such thing as a simple maintenance anymore. I came in with a grinding brake, and the owner went through and did a diagnostic. I had multiple issues, but he was able to clearly communicate what he thought the issues were, and clearly layout the price and fees for service. I agreed, and left my vehicle overnight. The next day I got a call the work was complete. They let me take it on a quick test drive before paying to confirm the issues had been corrected, then I paid. The services I needed were expensive, but worth it. Id recommend anyone who needs service on their vehicle to stop here!

The place did a good job on my oil change. However, the price of the oil change listed on the wall was $59.99. Once it was completed I was was told my car needed 2 more quarts of oil and a special oil filter. I was charged another $42 for these additional parts. I had my car at several different oil change places and never was told I needed a special filter and my bill was never over $70 dollars. If you don’t mind paying 30% extra bring your car here.

Had both cars due up for an oil change. I had been here before when they first opened and had great service and good prices. Decided to come back. Glad we did. Was in and out quickly. The owner pointed out that my front brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced but was not even slightly pressuring or pushy. He just wanted to make sure I was aware and stated that they could replace and gave me a quote but by no means was there pressure at all. He even allowed my son to keep the Elmo book he was reading in the lobby as we were leaving! Came back the following day with the other car (on a Sunday, loved that) and again great service.Was in and out in no time. Great guy and great service. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Nice staff but was verbally quote $59 for a synthetic oil change. Was then charged a total of $86 instead.Upon returning home I also noticed that the lenses of my new sun visor extender ($20 on Amazon) were both cracked off by the technician. No one mentioned anything.Never ever returning again.

I came into Pit Stop with the intentions of just getting my oil changed and a regular check up. I mentioned a few things I noticed about my vehicle and they said they would check it out. I ended up needing new brakes and a few other things. I got an oil change, brakes and everything else within about an hour which is much faster than other competitors. The employees were professional, friendly and knowledgeable!

Paying $64 for a synthetic oil change. I was ripped off by $34 maybe more . They gave me the cheapest oil filter and oil. I did my own oil change today and did everything for $34. Currently have 1 quart of oil left but now after completing my own oil change I’ve fix it , and not to add they broke my plastic plate as well.Cheapest oil filter on the planet is what they gave me!!! I would never go to this place ever again

Came in for an oil change and turned out my oil cap was missing!! Thank God I came in when I did - they were very quick to fix the problem for me (so awesome!). He ordered the cap from a parts company down the street and had it delivered! In and out in less than an hour and with the cleaning/high mileage oil change everything was less than $120!! Deal!! Folks I have been silent long enough. I wanted so much to write a good review as I usually see the glass half full. This location very close to my home so I thought I’d give it a shot. I took my car in once before for an oil change. But this was a very different problem other than routine maintenance. I was going to bring my vehicle into the dealer but I thought I could save some money bringing into Pit Pros. Wow was I wrong. What happened was I pulled into a gas station needing fuel and when I started pumping the gas it only gave me like 3 or 4 gallons and would stop not allowing me to put anymore in. I have a 15 gallon tank. So I was like what the heck. I would slowly press the nozzle to get as much gas I could. And my gauge only showed 1/2 tank. So I knew this was a big problem. So I called Pit Pros and explained the situation. From googling my problem I thought it might be the float in my fuel tank and I suggested that and the guy said yes it could possibly be that. So I brought it in on a Saturday at 8am. Guy calls me at around 2 pm telling me I need a float and a fuel pump. I questioned the fuel pump and he said I had the original fuel pump and a good idea to get replaced. Said he had to get it from Ford and that it was $400 but he wouldn’t charge me a mark up. I said fine do it. Then around 3:30 pm he calls me telling me that the wrong fuel pump was delivered and that he had to have his guy run to Naperville for it. I said fine. Not realizing at the time he wasn’t going to Ford after all but a regular auto parts dealer. I failed to ask him why he still charged me $400 instead of reducing price. This was not only a learning experience for me but a nightmare. They closed at 6pm and around 5:00 I received my third call from them telling me that they did a diagnostics test on my car to see how much gas was in my car because they were still having a problem with my fuel gauge not reading FULL. He said his tester showed I had a full tank but gauge on my dash showed 1/2 tank. He said he might have to call a guy he knows from Ford that has a Ford tester if my gauge doesn’t show full. Received 4th call right around 6pm he said, “right now your gauge is showing a Full tank”. Everything should be ok. I didn’t like the word ‘should’. After having my car for like 10 hrs I wanted to hear, “ your all set, your problem was fixed by such and such.” As I arrived at shop to pick up my car the mechanic was in my drivers seat ready to show me the gauge showed full. He did this my starting my ignition, turning it off right away, then starting it again a total of 3 times. Each time it showed full so I was thinking it was fixed. The bill came to $1100.00. I also had him do an oil change and replace my rear brakes. I was hesitant to pay the full bill after hearing him say it ‘should’ work ok. Needless to say 30 seconds after I started driving home from shop my needle dropped to 1/2 tank. Right there I knew they lied to me and knew that they knew my gauge wasn’t working. So I immediately called back and he said it was probably because he didn’t have the right scanner tool. So I brought my SUV in again the following Tuesday. He calls me telling me I need a sensor and that it would be $125.00. I complained and he said look I’m not charging you for labor. I was like fine. I just wanted my vehicle back and working. They had my vehicle for only 31/2 hours that day as opposed to 10 hrs previously. I saw that my needle showed full and I was content. Not happy but satisfied. A week goes by with no problems until I try to fill up again with fuel. Same exact problem is happening where it won’t give me much fuel. I’m like you got to be kidding me. So I call up again and he says to bring it in on Tuesday. Folks unfortunately this has turned into a novel and I will exceed character count soon. I can’t take you through my whole nightmare experience as there is more. I basically spent hundreds of dollars unnecessarily. DO NOT bring your vehicle into this place!

I hate giving bad reviews but todays service was the worst and upsetting, i went in for a quick oil change an left with them just adding oil.I was in 2 cars, left my girlfriends car getting serviced while we went to get cash because there credit card machine was out. Supposedly thats 2 minutes up the road (chase) by the time i came back the car was done. Found it strange, what ever i didnt wanna question it there, but got to woodmans gas station to pump gas decided to check the oil. An saw it wasnt nice an gold, or even clear or new oil. Now let me mention im a street mechanic. Always do my own vehicles work just today really needed it done asap. An its getting cold.Anyways called them he said he would change it again, when i get back. He seemed upset but ready to change it again.As he starts hes telling me that the oil can be dark if my motor is going bad. No thats false. Not even 5 miles on the new oil change an its because of the motor. No way... then hes telling me i dnt have to watch him do it that hes doing it right. I see the oil draining an its freaken dark. He also didnt even kno the oil filter number an the oil filter he dropped was white from carquest the one i last put on. The one he put on was black an again he had to check witch one it was in the book. If i just changed it i would remember what filter it was from 5 10 minutes ago. Anyways worst place to get an oil change. Nvr again.If u decide to go, atleast check the oil b4 u leave or watch em flush it....

New to the area. Had a coupon and went in for a routine oil change. Was in and out quick. 2 weeks later I took my car to my uncle (whos a mechanic) for some repair work. He happened to check the oil...apparently this D Bag never changed the oil and there was almost nothing left. THIS GUY IS A CROOK!!! I shouldve listened to the Yelp reviews on this guy.

Danger-Danger-Danger-Danger.Took my car in for a breaks and dropped off on Friday night. They worked on my car on Saturday and called me up 20 minutes prior to an appoint so I took my wifes car. The car was completed at 10 am and I picked it up at 4:50 pm. When I drove home the car was not driving well but you would not think it had anything to do with a break job! How wrong I was!!!!!!!Thank God as I was driving the person behind me was honking their horn and flashing their lights for me to pull over.I pulled over only to be told by this good Samaritan who probably saved my life that it looked like my tire was going to fall off.After looking at the passenger back wheel I noticed that all the lugnuts were one turn from coming off! After completing the break job they never tightened the lugnuts on my tire in the back and two of the lugnuts on the front. THIS WAS A DEATH WISH! I was going 60 miles when thank God some one pulled me over.They came out and tightened the lugnuts and the manager told me that the owner was coming in to speak with me.The owner pulls up in his Cadillac Escalade who tells me he just got in from Florida.He came into the meeting lobby and told me only one person should have been working on the car and for my inconvenience he could throw me a free oil change. He also NEVER said he was sorry and that he was going to check the video tape for what happened.I was so livid that he thought that this was so trivial that offering me an oil change worth about $20.00 and not taking responsibility for the almost tragic outcome that I had a tough time believing the total unprofessional in the was treated.After I called the manager on my way home and told him the conversation I had with the owner did he call me back after reviewing the video tape.The owner said that after reviewing the tape yes they did not tighten the lugnuts the offered me a coupon for a steak dinner.I told him that I could afford my own steak dinner and he told me this is the first time something like this has happened to him and that he did not know what to say.He stated to me he owns 13 Pit Shops and by the reviews he receives I can not believe this is the first time! (Read them)I told him that I drive on the HWY at 70 miles or over and if this would have happen at that speed something very bad would have happened to me and my car.I told him that in the future you should 1st be very concerned about your costumers welfare and admit we made a big mistake and asked what he could have done to make it up to them instead of flip them an oil change. How trivial!!!!!They have to replace my wheel plate and Im very concerned about the safety of the break job they did.I got about 1 hour sleep last night thinking about what could have happened to me and my family. Thanks for flipping me an oil change for my inconvenience and your lack of professionalism.If you feel this is a place where you want to go and put your life at risk good luck!

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.1: I was barely greeted by the technician and of course he was not smiling.2. Technician pointed at me and waived me in from waiting area- requesting that I enter the Bay Area. You would think they would give me the courtesy of opening the door and request that I come in verbally. This is ridiculous.3. Upon check out nobody said thank you or asked if I had any questions simply gave me my receipt didn’t direct me to my car- didn’t let me know my keys are in my car.4. Somebody needs to intervene here quickly absolutely unprofessional.

We showed up 15 minutes before they closed to check the brakes on my car, since it had just started making a loud grinding noise and we were an hour away from home. They stayed almost and extra 2 hours after they were supposed to close to fix my car.

Took my vehicle in for an oil change, they said you should get a coolant flush. So I did. He also mentioned well top off all fluids.I checked my fluids 2-3weeks after. Turns out they didnt fill my coolant fluid back up to the fill line! So I added some. But then they over filled my engine oil!?!?!To find out my radiator is now leaking fluid 😠. My car almost overheated on me!

They have magic hands! Took my infiniti needed brakes and the car shook at 70MPH without applying the brakes and shook worse when brakes were applied. Jim at a fair price fixed the brakes and calipers and now she glides at high speeds and the brakes are perfect. Today, took the 2002 Honda Accord in with speed sensor issue which he fixed with ease and at a great price. The radio and cigarette power source both were not working and I and another mechanic tried fixing so I asked Jim to take a shot. Magic Hands applied and now those work as well and my daughter is shocked and so so happy! Also had them put in aftermarket replacement headlights and they look amazing. I own 5 cars and these guys are my go to!

I would not recommend. Took my car in for oil change, which was fine. Then I left and smelled a strong odor of oil but figured it was just from being the in garage while getting oil changed. Several days later it was just as bad so my husband opened hood to find that the employee would changed oil didn’t put cap on and my engine had oil spilled all over the place...hence the strong odor. And since car was In my garage oil had dripped down on floor of my garage. We called and gentleman apologized and said he would talk to owner and call us back to make it right....do you think he called us back. NO. We had to call again and he said he was so busy and had not had a chance to talk to owner. This to me is terrible customer service, gave them a full day and part of them next day to fix the situation and they couldn’t even give us the courtesy to call us back. I would 100 percent never go back and would never recommend to anyone. Thanks for making a mess of my car and garage! If I could give zero stars I would. Do not go to this place!!!!

Went there for a oil change. It cost me 30 dollars and it took 10 minutes. So if you need a fast oil change and don’t mind paying a little higher pricing, check them out. They will get you in right away and out there door.

Entire shop reeked of weed. One of the staff members couldnt stop coughing when I arrived as if he had just finished smoking it. Waiting room smelled of weed and air freshener. My car smelled like skunkweed after I left. Will NEVER go back. Would not recommend. No basic things checked or done after the oil change either, though my receipt said they were checked. (Wiper Fluid, Tire Pressure, Air Filter, etc.). Total cost was $70+ just for the oil change. Do not waste your time or money on this place.

Sent my daughter in for an oil change a 20 dollar oil change turned into 51 dollars. Oh it needed extra oil and a filter. Well other places charge 3 dollars extra for oil they charge 13.99. Even a dealer isnt this expensive. Not to mention all the other b.s. they try to sell you. Dont go there! Had hundreds of oil changes in many different cars and places never 50 bucks. B.S.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! When I got there the employee DIDNT ask me what kind of oil I wanted for my oil change. When I went to pay he told me that the total was $60 ( which was for synthetic oil). I was in disbelief due to the fact that every time I have gotten oil change it has been around $20. I asked why he didn’t ask me if I want the normal oil or synthetic oil. He had no response. I told him that I felt taken advantage of because he never offered a choice between the two. He proceeded to act like a ‘’nice guy’’ and negotiate a price to reduce my oil change to which was still $50. When I called to speak with the owner he simply didn’t care and was extremely rude. This place is sexist! Don’t go there!!!

I dont want to be THAT guy but I drove into the bay and the entire business smelled like the entire staff was smoking some reefer. I get it if you choose to do that on your own time but when youre handling someones investment (car) I do not want potential mistakes or slip ups. I guess its just me but I will not be returning.

This place is a lifesave, over the past weekend my AC wasnt working, stopped in talked with the guy that guided me in and told him how my AC was blowing hot air. He had said I needed an AC recharge. Im am happy to say my AC is working great, and its blowing out cold air. If anyone is in need of an AC recharge or if your AC is blowing out hot air, I definitely recommend coming into Pit Stop.

Best Oil change joint in the business. Fast easy service!

Pulled in and the smell of pot was everywhere. I called him out (skinny white kid with tattoos) and he then got confrontational. Told him I’m going to call the police and his reply was “I’ve got weed on me and you’re going to do that?”. Told me to get the F&$% off his property. I called the police and will never return to this place again. Beware, a lot of reviews talking about forgetting to put caps on and mistakes made, being high explaines it.... FYI it wasn’t “skunk”.... as you can see I’m not the first review to complain about the employees getting high.

I came up to this place just to have an oil change my oil drain plug is strip guy told me can take take it out but to replaced it to new one,new one would cost $25 dollar little he knows Ive already call parts store witch cost $3.00 dollar for oil drain plug so i hop in my car left the place, would not recommend this place to my friends.

Apparently this is the only way to get a response from the owner?? I see he has responded to other reviews but will not even give a call back in over a week after my dads truck broke down on 290 after getting an oil change here. They placed a plug that didnt fit and never stated they did so. It was causing the oil to leak apparently and then his engine seized. I have called almost everyday to talk this out but keep getting avoided. You can sit behind a computer and respond to your negative reviews but cannot call to talk to a customer that has been patient for a week now?

I use to go to this location when was valvoline. I decided to give the new place a try, but I was not impressed. The price for oil change was on the high end. They were not very friendly when i arrived. They also asked me what oil to use. Employees vaping/smoking in shop. They tried to sell me 3 different flushes on my car, which is not recommended in owners manual. The 5 star reviews are most likely by friends, workers or are paid for, as you can see most have never written another review. I dont think I will be back.

ZERO STARS!!!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!! THUG and I do mean THUG opens door with cigarette hanging from mouth, asked what I wanted (keep in mind this is an oil change place) Asked for regular oil change no bells and whistles. While watching thru window during oil change saw snow ball being thrown into shop and NO FLUIDS, TIRES, AIR FILTERS CHECKED as I was CHARGED for these services which I did not ask for and which were NOT DONE AND DONT EVEN KNOW IF MY OIL WAS CHANGED!!!. Received complete attitude when i questioned if fluids, tires, etc were checked since these services were on my bill. This was a horrible, intimidating experience.! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK

Wow this place is a complete joke. Don’t even know where to begin. Advertising was decieving and some false. Guy at counter tells me that’s how they make their money. I laughed and told him that’s really bad business and told him I would never be back. He didn’t seem to mind. Oil change and tire rotation costed me $52. Everyone In the place seemed brain dead. Will never be back here again. I wouldn’t waste your time or money.

First time visit, got a quick oil change and didn’t know I really needed new brakes so glad he checked and no pressure, knowledgeable friendly service and a fair price on both!

Women friends stay away from this place?! Just left and still don’t think they changed my oil. First got hit on by one of the workers immediately after sitting down and 3 minutes later they say they’re all finished. I got in the car and all the lights (oil and tire) were still ok! I called my boyfriend and put him on speaker phone and only then did they show me all the liquids and fill up the tires! I should have demanded a full refund, but I was so grossed out after being hit on my skin was crawling! Do NOT go there!!!! Didn’t know a $60 oil change could be done in 4 minutes!!

PLEASE BEWARE!!!! These guys have a huge sign in front that you can see from Randall Road advertising a 19.99 basic oil change. Apparentlyin very small font on the banner they write from 8-10 am only M-F. But you cannot see this from Randall, or when you are driving into the Oil Change depot because they only have it in small font on another banner on the far right side at the back. No one tells you anything about the difference in pricing until they are done and hit you with a bill $20 more. They also charged me $7 extra because my Oil filter is special they said. I have had my same car for 5 years and no has has ever charged me extra or told me my filter was special. Stay away from these guys, they are certainly not worth the hustle!

I had an oil change on May 17, 2018 just shortly after they opened at 8:00 a.m. I just so happens it was the attendant who did my Ill change. I told him I was traveling over 2000 miles and he said it would be fine. Well!!! I got as far as the Wis Dells and just so happens because of his negligence, HE NEVER PUT MY OIL CAP BACK ON. I HAD OIL SPEWING OUT OF THE OIL FILL PORT.!!! IT WAS ALL OVER MY ENGINE, THE HOOD INSIDE AND OUT, WINDSHIELD, AND ENTIRE DRIVERS SIDE OF MY CAR!!! I CALLED AND SPOKE TO THE ATTENDANT WHO WAS THE ONE THAT DID THE OIL CHANGE IMMEDIATELY! I TOLD HIM WHAT WAS HAPPENING!!! AND HE ACTUALLY ASKED IF I COULD DRIVE MY CAR BACK FOR THEM TO REDO THE OIL CHANGE. I SAID ARE YOU CRAZY???!!!! HE THEN TOLD ME MAKE SURE THERES ENOUGH OIL REGISTERING ON THE DIP STICK. I BARELY HAD A SMIGEON OF REGISTERED OIL. THEN TOLD ME I NEED TO GET A NEW OIL CAP AND ADD THE AMOUNT OF OIL I NEEDED, WHICH BY THE WAY WAS 3 QTS!!! GET MY CAR WASHED, AND ALSO TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO GET THE ENGINE DETAILED WHICH IS EXPENSIVE(his words and it is!!)HE THEN SAID HIS BOSS WOULD CALL ME BACK IN A HALF HOUR!!!! I TO THIS DAY MAY 24, 2018 HAVE GOTTEN NO CALL FROM ANYONE!!!! I CALLED TODAY, ASKED FOR THE ATTENDANT AND IMAGINE HE WASNT AVAILABLE!!! THE GUY ON THE PHONE AT THE SHOP SAID HE WOULD HAVE HIM CALL ME BACK. THAT WAS APPROX 4:00 P.M. ITS NOW 6:26 P.M. AND STILL NOTHING!!!! :FOLLOW UP: So, I received a call from Jim MAY 25, 2018. At first I was extremely upset with him. After him and I spoke further he said he would reimburse me for the oil change, the oil cap, and the 3 qts of oil. He was very cooperative said he would put the check in the mail for the $36.00 May 25, 2018. He kept his word. I received the check today May 29, 2018. I will deposit the check tomorrow May 30, 2018. Thank you Jim for being honest and following through with your promise.

When they say oil change, thats all you get...they are the Earl Schrieb of oil changing businesses. 1 price..not ups no extras!

I took my Honda civic in there for an oil change and they put double the about of oil in it and won’t admit to it. Now it cost me 1000 dollars in repairs. Oscar the manager won’t give me Mike the owners number so I could ask what they can do for me they are just blowing me off, and now I’m out 1000 dollars. These guys are sketchy and I will never recommend anyone to go there. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!!!
