Love this complex, my family and i have been here almost 2 years and the staff is always pleasant as is the maintenance team! Would def recommend this community for the their pool, gym and location. Only thing negative i can say is that the pet owners need to do better about cleaning up after their pets.

I’ve been living at Wayfare for about 9 months now and I love how much space my apartment has, and also how my apartment looks overall. However, the walls are very thin and I can hear my neighbors on both sides of my apartment all the time. I can also hear my neighbor that stays above me DO EVERYTHING! From shutting her microwave to her getting out the bed in the morning. Overall, this is a beautiful place to live and has very friendly workers and neighbors, but the noise can be VERY aggravating. If you are looking to live here I STRONGLY RECOMMEND staying on the 3rd floor in a corner apartment.

I stayed at Wayfare for a little more than a year. I am very impressed by the quality of the apartments and the staff here at Wayfare. They are very helpful and provide a prompt response to your concerns. Emily Lohr at the office is super helpful. Madison Kristy, the property manager is super helpful. I remember both Emily and Madison had personally come to my unit to address a concern. The maintenance staff do a wonderful job. The apartment provides the facility of valet trash and I really appreciated that service. I will strongly recommend anyone who is looking to live in or around Burlington, NC to consider this property for their housing needs. You won’t be disappointed. The location is awesome. Walmart, dollar tree, Alamance crossing, Red Crab etc are all within walking distance. If I ever come back to NC I will consider living here again. Thank you to the Wayfare team. Best wishes, Ria.

I really enjoyed my time at Wayfare Crossing. The location is excellent, the maintenance staff keep the grounds immaculate and the office staff were consistently helpful, positive and made life there just a little better ;) Totally recommend if you are looking for an apartment that is affordable with great amenities and competent and positive office staff to support you whenever you need it.

Wow! What an amazing team. Being in the industry, I already knew Emily via email, lol. But Jonathan, Emily, & Madison are all amazing! I literally applied Thursday & now moving in on Saturday. They made my move very seamless & quick. I toured with Jonathan, which was great. He was so informative & full of personality. But, I completed my move-in process with Emily & she was great, as well. Thank you Wayfare for helping me find a place for my boyfriend & I in a short time span. It is truly a place to call home.

I love living here. The apartments are beautiful and ours was so clean when we moved in. It’s pretty quiet, in a good part of town and the pool and clubhouse is amazing. The staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful to us and maintenance is responsive. I have no complaints about living here!

Great community, not sure where those people were staying above but, when my I’m in my master I can’t even hear the tv in the living room. The walls aren’t thin, the gate is still being worked on but this is a brand new community so things take time. The staff is amazing and definitely always willing to help! Everyone that has come to visit loves the amenities and the grey doors are a beautiful accent, love how they didn’t take the traditional route white walls etc. Fresh look! Nice layout. Great space and Phenomenal location!

Ive lived here for almost a year now. What a wonderful apartment to call home.i really love this place.caring n responsible staff.i moved in an my apartment was very clean, everything fixed well. Ive no regrets of calling Wayfare a home for my nine months daughter.

I have now lived here for for almost 6 month, and really like it so far. To me the most rough thing about living here is the parking situation. If every apartment had one assigned parking spot it wouldnt be bad, but it happens frequently to me that when I come home after 6 pm that I do not get a parking spot anywhere near my apartment. Also the gates have not been working since I moved in, which was one of the reasons why I decided to move here. However, the staff is really nice and always there to help with whatever is needed.

EXTREMELY disappointed. Save yourself time, money, and your sanity. I am a current resident so I chose to remain anonymous. I felt persuaded by previous posters to warn future residents. DO NOT be persuaded by the deals that they offer. They will not be delivered in a timely fashion. Instead, you will find yourself calling the office wondering what happened to the deal. The managers are unprofessional and do not respond to email or phone calls. It is surprising to see them respond on here since I have been waiting for a maintenance order for over a month to no avail. Please do not be fooled by the gates or amenities, the so called bark park is filthy and the gates do not work. Pet owners do not feel the need to clean up after pets and the office does little to help. I now feel trapped in an apartment with thin walls, noisy plumbing, and horrible management. There are better options out there, save your money given that you have to pay an additional 25 for storage.

Poor Management. I made the mistake of signing a lease without first viewing the property. My move-in was june 16th but bc I dislike the property set-up I have decided to look in Raleigh. Emily has been nothing short of amazing but the ppl above her-Signature Property is making me pay a full months rent even though I had not moved in yet bc I signed the lease. This is very unfair. Please know that they do not work with you here. Management-No need to write under here as if you care now. Ppl-Beware!!!

I recently relocated to nc. Needless to say, I have a lot going on with moving to a new state, new job, etc. one thing I did not have to worry about was my new home. I chose Wayfare apartments, and it was a good choice. Not only is Wayfare a beautiful home, but also the staff is outstanding. Everyone I’ve met is so nice. Kelly worked with me, and she is AMAZING! Extremely friendly, very thorough and knowledgeable, very patient. I couldn’t be more satisfied. Also, I ordered a washer. Matt went above and beyond to make sure I got my washer delivered and installed in a very timely manner. Everything is neatly connected. I’m EXTREMELY happy! Thanks again Matt! I love living at Wayfare at Garden Crossing.

Friendly neighbors, great staff and maintenance crew. If youre looking for an apartment with modern finishes and pet friendly, definitely check them out. As others have noted, the gates have had problems (more of a hassle with them than without—personally I dont think theyre necessary, and didnt choose Wayfare to have a gated community), but overall living here was a great experience and Ill miss it!

Living here is really not bad. I live on the 3rd floor, personally dont have any noise comlaints or issues hearing other people. Parking can be rough. Personally if there was at least one designated parking spot for every apartment it wouldnt be so bad. The gates dont really work. But the staff if super nice and willing to work with you.

I’ve been living here for a few months now and this is also my first time leasing an apartment and the staff is very professional. I am always greeted with a warm welcome whenever I go into the office. There are always a host of events happening to become more socially interactive with the residents and the staff! So far I am loving it here!

Very courteous property manager, gave us a great tour. Apartments are very pretty but seriously lacking space in the kitchen. No food storage space whatsoever. Barely enough cabinets for a few pots and pans and maybe a couple plates and cups. The rent is very high considering the minimal space you get.

There is dog poop all over the property, the “gates” haven’t worked since I moved in Nov 2017, I can hear people walking up and down the stairs because they are wooden. They let Elon student live here so be prepared to see and hear a bunch of LOUD college kids at the pool and having parties. The quality of these apartments are horrible. The rug is beige and you will get red clay stains on it because the landscaping is a joke. There is a pond in the back that is pathetic AND your small children could easily fall into because it’s at the bottom of a steep hill with no fence. The walls were not primed because if you touch them they mark up. The paint on my balcony door is peeling off because of the humidity. I can hear when my neighbor turn on their shower, if their alarm goes off or when they close the cabinets in their kitchen. The windows don’t lock... oh and “gated community” means that outside cars won’t get in but people still can walk right on to the property.... Just save yourself the money and go elsewhere.

Expensive, no storage space. Somethings you are aware of before you move in, but the aftermath after is the worst part. The plumbing is horrible! You hear it throughout the night. Paper thin walls. Good luck sleeping if you get a room next to the stairs. Fleas and ticks infestation in the yards. The management is unprofessional and clueless. There is zero communication. You will literally have to harass them to get an answer. Their favorite thing to say is we will call/email you back by the end of the day but it never happens. They are clueless. Also, good luck getting the deals they offer in a timely manner. This is place is not worth complete sentences! Look elsewhere!

I am very happy with the decision I made moving in this property. I moved here from charlotte and was nervous about the city change. The staff has helped me adjust by providing local eating places, coupons, and a welcome basket filled with home neccissities. They also offer a 24/7 phone number if assistance is needed. They have had staff come out several times if I needed help with something. For my birthday they gave me a card, some candy, and a Starbucks gift card!! Its nice to move away from home but still feel cared about. Not to mention the apartments are beautiful. Im obsessed with mine. I love coming home. The outdoor facilities such as lounging area, pool, and gym are all renovated and beautiful. The indoor facilities such as lounging area, pool table, and kitchen are all accessible and beautiful as well. I would recommend this property to anyone!!

GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A few days ago I had a thought I thought how so many people are taken for granted. And I thought about MADISON that works in the office. She has been over and beyond to help me with ANYTHING. She always speaks and wants to know how I am doing. I sit at her desk and chat with her a lot.I feel like she is apart of my Family here at WAYFARER and my personal FAMILY. Whatever I need she highly succeeds.In July I walked in for the first time. I said well it want hurt to look at one more. She greeted me and I told her why I was there. Then I said it probably want work out. She said well lets just see we will know in 1 to 2 days, so I said ok. I was so happy cause I fell in love with WAYFARE the first time I stepped foot on this property.The next morning MADISON called and said, “Come pick up your KEYS.” I was so THANKFUL and BLESSED after living in and out of a car, friends, and family.So HAPPY to have a place to call HOME. MOST OF ALL A NEW FAMILY MEMBER AND SUCH A GREAT FRIEND.THIS IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO BE.

I applied for an apartment got approved with no deposit. I sign a contract and few weeks later 1 month before my move in date I call and told them my situation had changed so I need to back out my lease. They are charging me 1 months rent even though I never moved in. Management isnt welcoming.

I never write reviews but I feel like I need to in order to stop anyone else from making this huge mistake. I honestly am so shocked by the lack of professionalism. The staff is unresponsive and unprofessional. Good luck trying to receive any response. Do not count on the so-called deals they offer. The apartments look great from the outside but do not let that distract you from the things that they fail to mention. The plumbing is atrocious, especially if you live on the first floor. The walls are extremely thin and you will hear your neighbors going up and down the stairs at all hours. I am extremely disappointed and would recommend looking elsewhere. I am surprised that they received anything other than 1 star reviews.

My fiancé and I moved to Wayfare at Garden Crossing in September of 2018. The move in process was quick and easy, and the staff has been extremely helpful and courteous since the beginning. The apartment is beautiful and spacious and the community is well kept (clean, manicured, quiet, etc.). We are kept up-to-date with community news/events via E-mail, which is very helpful. The location could not be better; within walking distance to Wal-Mart, restaurants, and retail stores; only a 2-3 minute drive to Interstate 40. My fiancé and I couldnt be happier!

I’ve experienced nothing but greatness while residing at Wayfare! The staff is always willing to listen to ideas/suggestions to benefit and improve the community. Everyday that I enter the Wayfare gates, I’m reminded that I am HOME💕

I have been living here for a half year and the gates still dont work. If its a private property why do I continue to find ads from companies on my vehicle and door. You hear every step that anyone takes and plumbing is super loud and if you love to hear a clambering a/c unit then I would choose here. If that doesnt win you over try finding a parking spot after 5:30 pm. The pool is nice but can get dirty quickly. If you receive a package and certain people are in the office you may get a 30 minute window to pick it up after an automated phone call. Make sure you inspect the apartment thoroughly for damage because there is damage in almost every room in most of the apartments.

All of the staff are really nice and they have fun events for the residents. The apartments are really beautiful and I love living here.
