They always do a great job and their prices are great. My gel manicure lasts 3 weeks or even longer sometimes. They don’t rush and their prices are great.

Went here for the first time after moving and was nervous to try somewhere different from my usual! I was so happy I went here, my nails look exactly how I wanted and the acrylic is not too thick. The work done was exceptional and I will return!

They did such a great job with the French tips on my natural nails! This is my new favorite nail salon. The wait for me and my sister was only 15 minutes, not even. It depends on how many people are ahead of you. But Im a very patient person. Great job!

Just moved to the area and was trying out places. I went to North Studio and my search ended there. Darius and Nga are amazing! Darius has a wonderful personality, is very professional, and a perfectionist which is exactly what you want in a nail stylist. And Nga always gets my eyebrows just right. Love this place!! Great costumer service and great service overall. Owners are very nice and polite. I recommend you making an appointment that way you dont have to wait or call ahead of time to check the waiting time (for walk-ins). Pedicure service was very relaxing and they did a great job with my brows too.

Ive been coming here for a few years. I generally make an appointment but have also stopped in for last minute fix, a fill or a new set of acrylics with gel polish. Ive had my brows done here & a couple of pedicures. I have always walked out happy no matter what service I needed. Ive personally witnessed Darius & his wife do their hardest to accommodate people even when theyre about to close & someone walks in unexpectedly. They are a small neighborhood family business who provide great, caring, reliably good service at very reasonable prices! Plus theyre honest! In my experience, nail salons will tell you the wait is 5-10 minutes no matter when you walk in & how many people are in front of you then make you wait possibly hours. Theyd rather lie then lose the customer. At the North Studio Nail Salon, if you walk in without an appointment & both are busy &/or folks are in the seats already waiting or in the back pedicure/waxing area, theyll tell you the real approximate wait time, to come back in x amount of time, or try back later. I applaud the refeshing honesty of not wasting my time!! Five star business for sure!!

The owners are awesome and do a great job! It’s taken me forever to find a great nail salon in the city. They’re always busy though so definitely make an appointment if you walk in they’re usually booked for the day!

This is one of the small businesses in North Buffalo that I’m so glad to bring my business to. Darius is excellent with my nails. I’ve been going here for years, I always make an appointment, and the waxing is great, too.

I only ever come to this salon and I have been for about four years. They do a fantastic job at both waxing (eyebrows) and nails. The longest wait is usually only about 20 minutes, and this is only on occasion when I go there. The family that works here is also very hospitable and hard working. I highly recommend it.

The owners of this Nail Salon, are beautiful professional, their place of business is very clean the Owners know most of the clients by name, I actually have not been due to illness,been bout 4 years, upon healing I visited the other day ,had my nails done and am very very Happy, as soon as I walked in Mr. Darius said hello Desiree long time no see, something about a business who see lots of people, an yet know your name. I GIVE Darius an his wife an A+ in professional, cleanest, right area on Hertel and the only way I wouldnt go back would be that they closed hope that never happens. The thing bout wheelchair entrance, their is a small step to get over,but knowing Mr. Darius, and a call ahead Im positive he would get them in. Nails on North is my favorite place to get my manicure and pedicures. They have always treated me with the utmost respect. I have never heard or seen any discrimination of any kind and whoever says they did are just mad that they were too busy to fit in a walk-in. Make an appointment like the rest of us!

The staff maybe nice but I spend my money I expect for the finished product to look like it was professionally done. The paint job looked mediocre on my full set and the cuticles around the nail could have been cleaned up better. they also did not buff out the toes nail so there wouldnt be ridges under the finger polish. Went to go pay and she looks at my card and ask do I have cash because thats better for her and Im thinking a professional looking finish to my nails would be better for me too. Of course she wasnt getting a tip from me and when she was that her demeanor change which I did not care because I do not plan on ever going back.

This nail salon is wonderful. I have been a customer for over 5 years. The Owner Darius operates it with his wife. There has been a charge of racism by a person of color who walked in on Friday April 12, 2019. She was told she could not be taken and would need to come back because they were busy with customers. She has falsely accused this man saying that she was refused service because she is black. She has gone to the media to make these statements and hurt him and his family to the core. Darius has many african american customers, as I have witnessed him service all peoples of ethnic backgrounds. He respects peoples time and accepts appointments. He runs a small shop, just him and his wife, if they are booked, and he cannot service someone, he will say I am busy, you need to come back another time. I know this man and he is NOT a racist and did not say what he is accused of by this person. There were witnesses in the salon at the time of this incident and say that the women is not telling the truth. Please use this salon and get to know Darius as I have. A wonderful caring man. Lynn W

Darius (Dieu) was kind enough to do a complete mani gel even though he thought I wanted a regular (apt made over the phone). And his wife started me on my regular pedi. Fantastic job and fun to converse with! Will be back for sure!!
