I love Top Coat and I love Netta. I first came to Top Coat for a quick nail refresher that I thought would be a one time thing, but now Im booking every 2-3 weeks. Its the perfect location and such an inviting place. Netta knows what shes talking about when it comes to keeping your nails healthy, and she so personable and easy to talk to while youre there. My nails have never been in such good shape. I constantly receive compliments - people cant believe theyre natural! I can always trust her to do something fun and fresh, even when I have no idea what I want. If you go to Top Coat, youre in good hands! I cant recommend enough🖤

Netta is very kind and professional. Be warned that she does NOT have a voicemail, and does not hold or pre-charge. I unfortunately missed my appointment today and she was very patient with me, I had it in my calendar but couldn’t find a confirmation email or charge and became too anxious to show up. I did call and try to confirm and thought I left a voicemail after the beep, but there is not one. She was very understanding that I was so upset, as I was really looking forward to my nail appointment as I had gotten a great pedi from her previously. If any other overly anxious people are out there, make sure you email or DM her if you need her.

Netta is so kind and the best! She rolls with ideas I have and always upgrades the idea to be even better than I was imagining. Literally in love with my nails each time I leave and they last amazingly (and I am really rough on my nails). I can’t recommend Netta enough!

I cannot express how happy I am to find Top Coat Nail Salon! I’ve been patiently searching for a skilled nail tech to visit regularly like Netta! Not to mention, she is soo sweet and professional.Her shop is so cute, clean and inviting.I am always amazed at her work and her close attention to detail! I sometimes catch myself staring at my nails a lot lol.Her shop is appointment based only so it is nice to know that you won’t have to worry about crowded spaces compared to a usual walk in nail salon. I love getting my nails done by Netta! The vibe of the salon is really relaxing and we always have great conversations. I’m always pleased with how my nails come out. Netta is really creative with her designs. The salon is also very clean, which is important now with Covid, and I appreciate all the safety precautions that she takes.

Hello,I would like start my review with a few disclaimers:1- Netta is a talented nail technician2- I had 4 scheduled appointments before this review3- I am also a small business owner and always offer grace to my counterparts before criticismThat being said it’s very important to share my unsatisfactory experience with Top Coat, despite the glowing comments made by other clients. The purpose of this is accountability and growth, not slander.Unfortunately I witnessed several customer service related issues during my almost 4 appointments. I say almost because my last one was canceled on the spot due to my own lateness. Which I take ownership of and understand every business has their policies. What I do not understand is why Netta doesn’t see Grace is a two way street.My first two appointments required me to wait 20+ minutes to be serviced. And if you’ve ever received any salon service this isn’t new or surprising. So I was very shocked that after two delayed appointments and one that was double booked with someone else (not my error but ultimately my sacrifice because I was only given an “express” service that still cost the full rate) yesterday Netta decided that I wasn’t even worth the full 10 minute grace period that was stated to be the late policy on her 4/18 Instagram post (GPS states I arrived 8 minutes late in case there’s rebuttal). Netta greeted me with a rude attitude and the following remark “y’all need to be on time.” Who is y’all and why are they being included in this dialogue? Why would I be treated like the “leader of lateness” and not like the patient and understanding customer that I’ve been. Despite the long wait times, listening to her complain about a negative review at my first appointment (irony), and a botch job of a last appointment (she knew she didn’t perform her best work because she took a picture and never posted it) I continued to extend GRACE to this woman because I am passionate about supporting hard working black queens. But I cannot support someone who doesn’t give what they expect to receive, blames others without speaking about issues from a place of accountability (she blamed other clients for my previous wait times), and has an unpleasant demeanor.I was never given the opportunity to receive a 5 star experience by the owner and I am not sure why (perhaps every other client is perfect and never late but also doesn’t care about waiting when she is). I’m not bitter about it though because at the end of the day it does nothing for me or my community if another black owned business fails (to meet the needs of the people). But I hope this honest account can breath life onto the stale areas of operations that will keep Netta and Top Coat Nail Salon from reaching their full potential. Grace is a two way street.

I absolutely love getting my manicures at top coat. I come in with a color in mind and she goes above and beyond my expectations every time. Super chill vibe with great music and good conversations, you will not be disappointed!

I cant seem to add the photos. my nails didnt come out how I wanted either time. I tried contacting her privately first. the design was sloppy and nails were uneven and thick. when I tried telling her I wasnt happy she stopped talking to me. the nails she posts are not what you will get. im sad I lost 50 dollars both times and hate my nails. I came home and spent 2 hours just to try and make it so I can live with them. I cried over how bad they were . go to a cheap place they may not have colored acrylic but they will smooth out your nails. she was really nice untill I didnt like the job I was playing for

Netta goes above and beyond to make each experience special, she puts so much attention and care into the details of her work and every time Im more blown away than the last. Im so happy to have met her, and in all the years of getting my nails done Ive never been happier. I get compliments everywhere I go!

I had had been searching for a local nail tech when I drove by the adorable shop front for Top Coat, I checked them out on instagram and used the online booking system to book a pedicure before I even got down the street. Netta has created such a serine space amidst following all safety protocols that make you feel safe and at home. I had such a lovely time chatting and watching food network while getting a pedicure.

I love coming to Netta, she always gives me a fun and creative design on my short natural nails. I would recommend her to anybody looking for fun nails!!

Netta does an amazing job with my nails! I cannot say enough good things about her salon...she always goes above and beyond for her clients. The work she does is beautiful and I wouldnt even think about going anywhere else for my nails! The salon is clean and pristine with fantastic measures put in place due to covid to keep everyone safe.

Going to see Netta at TCNL feels like a hug— Netta makes sure every client leaves feeling loved, cared for, and PAMPERED! The first time I went to TCNL I was blown away by the atmosphere, positive intentions, good energy, and thought that went into every single experience and product used. I mean, rose petals and citrus in the foot bath?? Soft gel nails that keep your nails healthier than acrylics?? Showing Instagram inspo pics and walking out with the exact nails you wanted?? Amazing. But for real, as someone who has been hopping around from nail salon to nail salon for YEARS, I will be going to TCNL until I’m too old to go anymore lol.

I had my first ever professional manicure at Top Coat Nail Lounge and I loved every minute of it! The space is beautiful and relaxing the and the entire experience was professional and friendly and I was SO happy with the way my nails turned out. I cant wait to make coming here a part of my regular routine.
