I’ve been doing business with the Brookfield Sheraton Hertz since March 2021. Tom Ernst and his employees are very quick to acknowledge their customers. They are very professional, patient and friendly. I will continue to use this Enterprise location for my rental car needs and refer my family and friends as well. Thank you Tom and staff for your exceptional customer service!

I set up a premium rental on 08/10/2021 to be picked up 08/26/2021 and when I went to pick up the vehicle they didn’t have premium vehicles. Then I accepted a downgrade because I needed a vehicle ASAP. However when I did my vehicle walk around it was an unacceptable vehicle. The bumper was hanging off the car, rear fender had been side swiped and there was more minor dents and dings. There was never a checklist given to me to point out the imperfections therefore I then declined the vehicle without ever leaving the parking lot. Now I am without a rental and my insurance reservation is locked and waiting for a manager to be able to fix it. I also called Hertz customer care and the representative refused to transfer me to a supervisor. Horrible service would never refer, recommended or return to this company.

From the moment I walked into the office Chelsea was snippy and rude. There was zero customer service and the fact that she belittled me even after I provided her proof with an email from hertz showed she has no idea what customer service means. Companies do not exist with out customers, and unfortunately when they hire staff who does not understand the value of good customer service, they lost customers. I will not rent with hertz again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Was #1 but now peopled by employees with heart who really are trying harder than the average car rental providers to take care of their customers.My own Herz reservation hit a major snag for which I saw no obvious remedy. Made me mad. Then a big-hearted employee took it upon himself to present a solution that made all good and got me back on track for a perfect trip.1-star turned 5-star thanks to a pro who stepped outside of his job description and offered a human touch. Thats the new Herz in the pandemic era--highly recommended!

The dirtiest vehicle and tore up looking. I had to get a car wash just to get the bugs off the windshield. I will be dammed if I pay any cleaning charges. The csr was very nice and quick.

The woman I dealt with was rude and unhelpful. I tried calling for over half an hour to make sure they would be open when I got there, but no one answered. The app did not tell me they would be closed at 5. But it let me make the reservation and marked me as a no show. In the morning, she said she rented the SUV to someone else. She waited 5 mins after 5 and I didnt show, so its on me. I explained that I was calling to make sure they would be open before I paid $40 for an Uber. She was quite rude. I asked if she could help us locate a vehicle at a different Hertz and she brushed us off. She said, I have the exact same number as you and they dont want to talk to me either.We went to the location on Vel R. Phillips, and the clerk was courteous, professional, helpful and just plain sweet.

Conveniently located in Brookfield area, easy pick up/drop off process. Vehicle selection is always limited. In the 3 times Ive rented from Hertz Brookfield we were given a car that was either not in the right class and had to wait several hours for a correct size to be brought in (compact SUV vs. full size) or were given a vehicle with terrible fuel economy to take cross-country (V8 18/mpg hwy) with no opportunity to switch. Car was also marked clean but windows and interior were smudged, sticky, gunk in center consoles - it looked like someone did a quick once-over with a vacuum and slapped the clean sticker on it. Disappointed in cleanliness of the vehicle during a global pandemic. Overall, Ive had better luck with Budget in West Allis, but its more out of the way. May reconsider switching back next time we rent.

The first time I ever rented a car and possibly the worst experience. The first car I got was super dirty on the outside and the inside of the windshield was gross not to mention it needed an alignment and had a weird noise coming from the driver side. I exchange it and they give me a new vehicle that ALSO needs an alignment plus was a downgrade technology wise and was extremely dirty on the outside as well. I went to the mke airport location to see if I can exchange the car yet again and the guy tells me price wise the new car I got was an upgrade. Not only was the new vehicle smaller it didn’t have Apple car play which I specifically reserved a certain vehicle for because I was driving to Tn and didn’t want to constantly have to look down to look at my gps. Highly disappointed.

Not happy at all! Car was very dirty. Never cleaned after last rental. It took us about an hour to clean the inside and windows so we could see out, and they are still slimy. With covid guidelines in place, this would be graded with a F. The window washer fluid was totally empty. It took a whole gallon of OUR washer fluid. There was only a half tank of gas. Passenger airbag light registered off and continued off for our trip. The maintenance service light was on and said service due. Steering pulls left suggesting car needs an alignment NOW! No walk around inspection done with clerk. Not impressed at all.

Place is really small but happy overall with the rental. Charles helped me out. Car was spotless. Easy drop off.One star for Hertz though. You really need more people/office space at this location. Your reps are way better than Enterprise but the wait time would be less with one more person.

Four calls to Enterprise and they couldnt pull off picking me up at a local auto body. One phone call to Hertz and picked up my car on a busy day at Hertz (4 people looking for cars) in just 15 minutes. Drop off a snap. Explained all the charges up front. Super easy to work with. I tip my hat to you Char and Charles!

I had a great experience for my first visit and they offer good discounts for AAA members. I am underage and didn’t get charged the fee in addition I charged what was quoted online because I came back with a full tank of gas. I will continue to rent from Hertz just for letting me rent SUVs and trucks without limitations like Enterprise or extra fees like both Enterprise and Avis.

Went back in fourth between this location and the 76th street location. This location is very small and Allison (the dark skin lady with the ponytail) is very rude and unprofessional. The whole time she was rolling her eyes and smacking her lips. She gave me two bogus cars. First, she gave me a Nissan Versa that vehicle had messed up tires. After driving on the highway for 5 minutes I had to pull over and called roadside assistance. My children were in the car and was very afraid. The second vehicle she gave me had a strong odor, dirt on the floor and a little gas. When I returned the vehicle back to the 76th street location I was charged a fine for smoking in which I did not do and for gas mileage. I was refunded my gas mileage back because I had pictures to show but they didn’t refund my alleged smoking fees. I called Brookfield manager Charles and he didn’t do anything. He basically let Allison run that place. I’m in the process of hiring an attorney. My children are so traumatized after experiencing the incident on the highway. I also heard that Allison was apart of a rental fraud where she’s giving out rentals to her friends and family for little to no money. I contacted cooperate to launch investigation and I also contacted BBB to launch an investigation so that I can get my $300 refunded. Please stay away from Hertz I also contacted State Farm to inform them they are treating their customers poorly.

Only used this location because I had no choice. Someone hit my vehicle, it was in the shop and State Farm Insurance set up the rental. I have a 2017 Ford n they gave me this small Toyota Corolla.Tried to get a ride to have them pick me up to get my vehicle back.No one picks up the phone, just rings with no way to leave a message.Staff responds like your a bother.Next time go to Avis!

They customer service sucks! I tried to call and had to leave a message and never got a call back and was charged 115 for gas. But never returned my call about the gas situation or my garage opener. PLUS 50 buck deposit they kept as well. They are straight trash. Will never use hertz again. No wonder i always wentto enterprise.

They forgot to close out my rental, so I had to call multiple times to get a receipt. On a different rental they charged me for satellite radio even though I did not ask for it. When I tried to get a refund they would only give me 1/2 of the money back. Overall disposition of service rep is rude. When you call, she cuts you off even when you are speaking to her calmly about information she will need to resolve the issue.

Would actually give them 0 stars if I could. Husband drove on unsafe tires somewhere near Rapid city South Dakota and airport Hertz there not linked to Hertz back home. They basically told my husband it was an unsafe car and couldnt do anything for him with a 4 hour drive ahead of him. This company does not care at all about keeping there clients safe!

This hertz was fantastic. We rented a car to go to lambeau field for a game after a wheel bearing on my car needed to be replaced. I returned the car will full gas, clean and called to say I was going to be a little less than a day late returning it since we were exhausted when we got home. They only charged me exactly what was on my original receipt, never charging me for the extra day. Thats what I call going the extra mile. No pun intended. They were very polite and professional too. If I ever need to rent a car again Ill be going to this hertz. A+

I had a great car rental experience but the customer service that I received was really bad. I had to take the rental in for an oil change because I was putting so many miles on the car. I was told I would get a refund. I returned the car 2 months ago and I still haven’t received my refund. Ive been calling them asking about when I get the refund but I was hung up on, I was told I would get calls regarding my refund and what process it was in and I never got any calls. Bad customer service!

When I walked up to my car, the plates were from Georgia and basically it looked like the car had been driven non stop from Georgia and parked.The inside and outside were filthy and there were bug splats all over the windshield. I tried using the windshield fluid which just smeared it all around. It was awesome looking through that for 10 hours. I had to use Hertz through work, never again.

Would give 0 if possible. Saturday Noon June 23 2018- I had confirmation in hand and was on time for pickup when the VERY UNPROFESSIONAL woman working behind the desk was aggravated that I walked in. She immediately tells me shes not even supposed to be working this late (it was noon) and that she needs to clean the car before I can get it. I said if its not too bad condition that Ill take it as is.She asks for my Gold Member number. I inform her that Im not a gold member to which she responds that she is only waiting for a gold member and that she has no cars. I show her my confirmation number and location. She says well its after her time off and that she doesnt know why they gave me a confirmation and basically just says she cant help me and then says she needs to go to firestone and has to lock the door. Im stunned by the total lack of professionalism or support. I call Hertz customer service. Very nice on the phone and asks to speak to the Manager on Duty. I tell him she just left for firestone... Hes surprised and tells me there are 4 cars there. Well shes gone so I ask him if he can transfer my reservation somewhere else... He says yes and apologizes profusely. Im thinking everything is ok. Then he says there will be an upcharge for the location Convenience... What?!? He expects me to pay 300$ MORE then my CONFIRMED reservation AND drive 20 miles to the airport in my nonexistent transportation. I immediately tell him to cancel my reservation and told him I wont be using Hertz ever again. Avoid at all costs.

Worst rental experience. They gave away my rental that I had a reservation for because I came at 5:20 pm and had reserved my car for pick up at 3:30. No remorse and tried to blame me, excuse me but what good is a reservation if its not honored!? Didnt have any other available cars and left me scrambling around town where no other rental company had available cars because theirs were all reserved and they cant cancel someones reservation. I wish Hertz was like their competition in the area because I would have had my car and not missed going to a work conference. I am out the money for my conference, child care and so frustrated with this company. This is not how customers should ever be treated. Avoid this company if you really actually want to rent a vehicle.

Very poor customer service and unprofessional desk personnel . I had ordered a small econo car as I have a small garage. The girl at the desk Momesa was very rude and told me there were no econo cars left. I asked if I could go an look at the larger car they had and I walked down 3 flights of stairs to the garage and there was an econo sized gulf. I went back up and told her and she was very rude and unprofessional. She also forgot to give me a copy of the rental agreement and asked me to sign without reading it. I asked for it and she rolled her eyes and printed it. Would not recommend this place at all.

Good experience. There was quite a line when we got there, only two people working but since I had made my reservation online it didnt take me long once it was my turn. Even though they require you to fill up the gas tank before your bring it back our car was on empty when we got it. Not sure if that is protocol or what.
