This is the best dental Spa I’ve ever been. The doctor is super nice expert and patient lady, she neverrushed to the patient and took her time to every detailshe concerned. And so do all the assistants, they are super friendly and gentle! I am the one that super sensitive and afraid of the pain, but every time I‘be been there, they all took good care of me, now I have very pretty and healthy teeth that I can smile without shy. Thank you for all your help! And I am highly recommend to everyone!

I discovered a broken tooth one night & made arrangements to look for a dentist that took my insurance. I looked at several & read reviews . I made a decision to choose Family Dental Spa of Brandon . I have had quite a few visits with them as to find I needed more work done than just one broken tooth. Every one in this dental clinic are super nice from the front desk , financial office , dental techs & dentist. They have performed excellent work on my teeth & I couldn’t be happier anywhere else.

Poor time management, poor customer service, poor service. They charged my husband for service he didnt receive. The tooth they did extract they left fragments in his gums, just a horrible experience overall. Then to put the icing on the cake we requested to have his x-rays sent to us and they stated it would be a $25 charge lol yeah right I wouldnt need them transferred if you all put a little more effort in your practice and not scare your patients away. Ill pay out of pocket for them to be done somewhere else!

She answered my questions, gave me options, scheduled my appointment....all in less than 5 minutes. She is patient and has the most pleasant disposition. Thank you!!

Very happy with finding this dentist. I went to a chain dental place, Great Expressions, when I first moved here (I didnt realize it was a chain until I got there). They claimed I had a mouth full of cavities that would cost thousands to fix. Please note: Ive never had a cavity in my life, so I refused to believe them without a second opinion. Sure enough, I came to Family Dental Spa to find out my mouth is cavity free!!The staff were all very friendly and efficient at their jobs. The spa concept includes calming music and projectors with relaxing scenery playing. I am happy to have found this place! I would happily recommend Dr. Perez and her staff!

The most unprofessional establishment I’ve ever been to. Had an appt scheduled and did not receive any reminders like most places give. Tried calling at least 10 times to reschedule and eventually just didn’t show up because I couldn’t make it- never received a call or anything so I’m assuming I wasn’t even on the schedule. No consideration for patients time. I’ve showed up previously for an appointment only to have the doors locked and nobody answering the phone. Time before that I was there for a CHECK UP and waited at least 3 hours. Unorganized and unprofessional staff. Would not recommend to anyone.

If your reading this I HIGHLY recommend you go to another dentist in Brandon. I arrived at 11:45 am for my 12:00 pm appointment . There were two other patients waiting in the lobby prior to me. At exactly 12:45 I asked the receptionist what time will I be called back and she looks at me confused. She then proceeds to tell me that they will call me back in about ten minutes. Meanwhile the two patients that were in the lobby stormed out the office after about an hour of not being called back. When the hygienist called be back at 1:10pm she tells me sorry for the delay they were in surgery. I passed about 5 of their dental rooms and did not see any other patients. However I did get a glimpse of the break room where I saw multiple staff laughing and playing with each other’s hair as they listened to music. This was concerning as I waited over an hour for a simple cleaning and saw two other patients walk out for not being seen. Once the hygienist started the Xrays it was evident that she did not know what she was doing. She retook the xrays multiple times and then called in a colleague to help her complete the xrays. Each time she redid the xrays she told me “sorry I promise this is the last time”. At this point it is almost 2pm and I did not have time to get my cleaning done. I told the hygienist and she told me I can come in on Friday at 9am. When I went to the the receptionist to schedule she told me the hygienist was booked on Friday and the nearest appointment is in 3 weeks. In addition to, after my xrays I was told the office manager would like to speak to me in the back office. My insurance gives me 2 free cleaning a year. I have had the same insurance for about a decade and have never paid for a cleaning. He told me my cleaning will be 45 dollars for the first time then it will be free every 6 months. I called my insurance company after to verify and they told me that my cleaning should be free. Then he proceeds to tell me that I need 1900 of out of pocket dental work that needs to be done. They want me to take out fully grown wisdom teeth that are not bothering me at all. I wasted a half of a day at this raggedy dental office. Please save your TIME and MONEY and go to a respectable dental office. Please cancel my cleaning cause I will NOT be there.

Money hungry

I recently got new insurance and couldn’t find any dentist that could see me right away. I literally called over 30 dentist offices to get turned away each time. But when I called this doctors office and spoke with the nicest young man named Mitchell ( who actually turned out to be the office manager) & even though they was completely booked he was very polite and was able to work me in there very busy schedule to come the next day because I was in a lot of pain.Once I got there I was greeted the sweetest your ladies named Genesis and Veronica. After I was seen by the Dr. Perez she decided that If wanted to come back the next day to get a cleaning they would be happy to see me but being that I currently have a newborn I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to come back the next day. So after letting the ladies know my current situation they welcomed me to come back the next day and they would watch my baby while I got my teeth cleaned. I have NEVER felt so welcomed like family by any dentist office the way I felt there. I will definitely come back for EVERY cleaning with the Hygienist Claudia who was by the way VERY gentle but got the job done perfectly! I SERIOUSLY LOVE THEM AND DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE!

In April, one of my crowns fell out. I scheduled an appointment with Family Dental Spa of Brandon to look at it. Dr. Perez was sick, so Dr. Yoan Zayas filled in. After assessing the crown, I decided to have the tooth extracted instead. I spent 3 1/2 hours there and it was the worst dental experience of my life. My cheek and gums were tore up and swelling lasted for about 4-5 days. After the swelling went down, I found that the crown next to the extracted crown had a huge hole in it. I immediately called the office after I found the hole. The office manager was adamant that they did not do it, which is strange as they did not see it yet. In my follow-up visit with Dr. Zayas, he said that there was no way he could have done the damage. They went ahead and patched the hole and did not do a good job, The patched area is very rough, as if it was not buffed out properly. They sent a bill to my insurance company for the work, and I am responsible for over $150. This is very upsetting because they broke the tooth, they will not accept responsibility and billed for the work. It is very disappointing as we have been loyal customers for the last 3 years or so. We will never go back, and do not recommend this for anyone. 5/15 - patched area fell out already. Lasted 2 weeks. Horrible dentist.

I have not been to a dentist in 30 years. I have had problems with my teeth since I was 21 years old. Been in braces for 3 years and had many teeth removed by surgery. Really I needed a dentist even if I didnt want to go to one.I visited the Family Dental Spa of Brandon. They were so kind and understanding. Dr. Diaz was so wonderful. As a whole I cant wait for my next visit. When I left the office I was feeling so much better about myself, my life and my future. I see happiness coming in my life now when I had lost hope. Thank you all so much for what you have done for me. You are a blessing and a dream come true. The office is truly a Spa for dentistry. Thank you again.

Ive been going here for a couple of years. I love this place. The doctor fixed a chip in a front tooth no charge to me. The new hygienist they hired in January is the absolute best. Thorough is an understatement. That is what I want when Im getting my teeth cleaned. Office is new and clean. Girls are amazing. I am so glad I switched to this office.

Beyond disgusted with the way they treated me. Don’t waste your time or money. Tried to make app online twice with no response, called twice and finally got one. Then a week later call just to confirm since it all seemed very unprofessional and they answer saying sorry she decided she isn’t coming in. No one called me to reschedule or even let me know and my app was at 9am. No value for my time at all. I would never go to her or this place ever.

This place is awesome! The staff is amazing! On my first visit I was treated good. I feel like I’m at home. Especially, the hygienist Maria Hattan, she cleaned my teeth so great, my teeth feels new. The office manager Ivette is very nice and helpful, I feel comfortable here. Dr. Muńoz is a great dentist and she does a superb job. Janet is very nice and knowledgeable of her work. Genesis has an inviting voice that makes a patient want to come here. The only complaint I have is that there is NONE!!!!!! I am grateful to know this dentist office. I highly recommend this place!

Very pleasant experience. My daughter and I were seen at the appointment times. Very professional and attentive. I had three crowns done with no pain. Very gentle dentist, she made sure I was numb. Nice office atmosphere. Office Manager explained in detail the interest free care credit financing. The dentist, dental assistants and office staff are very nice. Glad I switched to this office.

Let me be the first to review the new ownership. I went in today and got X-rays, 2 quads deep cleaning, and a cracked tooth repaired. I loved the last office, but this ones even better. The staff is bilingual, Spanish and English. The girls are fantastic. Im 62 YO and the hygienist is the best. Mary at the front desk is informative, and knowledgeable.The doctor is great, and gives you all the time to decide. Im 62 YO and not an easy customer to say the least. Check my reviews. WOW, What an amazing experience at Brandon Dental Spa. I arrived looking for a brand new smile and theyre giving it to me. Being born with a cleft palate/lip was very difficult for me. My teeth were ruined at an early age. Dr. Perez is giving me the smile that as I a child I wish I had. Now as an adult its happening. The staff is absolutely amazing. Theyre friendly, professional, and courteous. Theyre very thorough!! The Hygienist Wow is absolutely AMAZING!! Updated as of 2020: The previous owner sold the business and I can no longer give Family Dental Spa five stars. It is now closer to two stars. The complete turnover has definitely hurt the business, IMO. The scheduling was difficult for me. I waited for over 25 minutes to be called back with an appointment. There was very little protection for patients (visit during COVID-19 pandemic 2020) and I was left sitting in the chair was my mouth wide open for a long time. It was not until I got up and asked for assistance that someone helped me. Thankfully I speak /understand Spanish and understood what I was being directed to do.I have found a new dentist and never returned to Family Dental Spa afterPre-2020: I have had nothing but great service at Family Dental Spa. Staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Ive recommended several friends.

Just moved to the area and this was my first dental appointment here. First, I waited for over an hour to be seen. Once seen, I was told the hygienist wasnt there and this appointment was to just get me on a dental plan (wouldnt that be an obvious thing....cleaning every 6 months?). I had to speak with another lady about the plan. Was told my cleaning would cost me over $500 out of pocket. I have NEVER paid this much for a cleaning before. The dentist herself is kind, but this was a giant waste of time. I will not go back.

Ive been coming here for over 6 months now, and i have a lot of dental problems... the staff here is excellent, they listen to what Im asking and do the best they can to relieve whats going on, they work quickly, and they always are upfront about costs and work that needs to be done. This was going to be my first visit to this provider. These people are the worst. I would give less than one star. They made an appointment and cancelled. Made another appointment, called me to confirm it and then the day of appointment they called to tell me that I was the only appointment they had scheduled for that afternoon. They then went on to ask me to come in early, while I was at work, or they were going to have to cancel again. They wanted to go home for the day. I had already requested to take the time off from work only to have to cancel and request another day off. My boss was not happy. This office manager could care less. If I had cancelled less than 24 hours I would pay a no show fee or cancellation fee, I get nothing to compensate me. I had already waited 2 weeks for my insurance to make them my provider and now I have to wait another month to do that again with another provider. Dont waste your time here. If going home early is the priority here it says a lot about how much they care.

Dr. Perez and her staff were very courteous and professional. I had a simple extraction to be done, it was quick and painless. I will be making future appointments for further work on my teeth with this office.

Hey guys, I’m back, went to Dr. Perez today for a deep cleaning and scaling with P.J the hygienist and the entire staff made me feel so at peace and comfortable being my first time having this procedure. I arrived at 9AM and was seen promptly, PJ explained every stage of the procedure and also gave me breathing techniques to keep me calm and I am a happy camper. Dr. Perez is a fantastic dentist and I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to see this Dentist and staff, you won’t be dissapointedDomininque

They are excellent friendly and very professional. They helped where no other dentist could.

Appointment today was at 330 and still sitting in dentist office at 502 and still havent had my sons tooth pulled. And I dont think they even care. People are walking in after my son are being seen

This past week was my first appointment i went in scared cuz i have a very bad cavity the staff was so nice an the dentist was very attentive i was so scared when she was doing my tooth but she made me feel so comfortable an when i was getting numing shot the girl that was in the room held my hand i have 7 more fillings i need an iam retuning back for the rest of the work. Also she was so helpful with working on a price that was good for me thanks u guys cant wait for my next appointment next month. You all are the best i recommend themto everyone if ur looking for a dentist who actually cares about ur teeth an not one who just rushes u in an out like some just to get in more people for the money there the one.

You would think that if you scheduled a Saturday 9AM appointment weeks in advance that they would be open at 9AM. They werent - doors still locked and everything. I tried calling several times but no answer. I waited 15 min after before calling quits. I dont know what happened but Im disappointed - I was looking forward to this visit.

Just got my tooth pulled Yesterday and the ladies were awesome, this is the first time I got my both of my back wisdom tooth pulled out at the same time and in no pain at all they took care of me i will definitely recommend Them to family and friends

I was in to get a tooth extraction and I was very nervous about it. The office staff and the doctor made it feel like a walk in the park. I felt no pain at all I wasnt aware the extraction was already done!!!! Great hands and great service. Very recommended for any type of dental work.
