Anxiety was my main barrier, from my fear of the dentist office to my fear of unexpected costs. I have dental insurance through my employer which did cover the preventative care needed (e.g. X-rays, cleaning). My hygienist readily brought up the costs in the computer for procedures under my plan before we proceeded with each step. This was a great relief—no surprises! (Turns out I need one filling, which I will get at a follow-up visit, so she ran the cost of it and gave me a preview so I would know my cost ahead of the next appointment.)My hygienist explained every step in every part of the process before moving forward, including about how long the cleaning would take, what she was looking for during her assessment, and concerns that she would notify Dr. Bridges about. Dr. Bridges performed her assessment and gave me feedback and helpful tips. Dr. Bridges and her team were friendly, thorough, and efficient throughout the whole process.Again, I highly recommend Mayatte Family Dentistry to anyone looking for high-quality dental care. I think going to a new dentist can be somewhat intimidating, however my first experience at Mayatte Family Dentistry was wonderful. Holly was my hygienist and she was very professional and thorough! I could tell she was very knowledgeable as she kindly explained each part of the check up. (also gave some helpful hygiene tips to take home with me!) Dr. Mayatte was also very professional and attentive as he answered all of my questions and concerns regarding my teeth. I recently moved back to Brandon and today was my first visit to Mayatte Family Dentistry. I chose them because they were highly recommended and after my visit today I can understand why. I had a filling break over the weekend. On Sunday Dr. Mayatte came to the clinic to give me some relief for the tooth until the next morning for me. His entire Staff was so friendly and prompt with everything. He took care of the problem and Im having zero pain. He explained everything during the extraction and was so great at making me comfortable during the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Mayatte for all your dental needs. I have never been to an office where everyone was so sweet and kind, from the receptionist to the dentists to the doctors. When I walk in, I’m always greeted warmly by name. I had the greatest dental experience yesterday at Mayatte Family Dentistry!! From my entrance to my exit, my experience was truly an experience !! Mayatte Dentistry is by far the best dentist Ive ever been to. They are the friendliest bunch of people Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with from the smiling lady upfront, to the Hygienist, to the doctors. Dr. Burke takes her time to explain everything that shes doing or planning on doing so that someone like me knows exactly whats going on. Which I really appreciate. My daughter had an issue where she thought she was having an allergic, she wasnt, but I informed the dentist to make sure there wasnt anything used that she was allergic to. The office manager called 3 different times to check on her, she even took time out of her off time after hours to call. You dont get that care just anywhere. Thank you everyone at Mayatte!

Switched to Mayatte at my wifes insistence (she raves about them) and was pleasantly surprised. I am no fan of the dentist, but this had to be my best experience. They were all extremely friendly, and my cleaning was very thorough and done with almost no discomfort. They were also very knowledgeable and gave excellent tips on how to better care for my teeth. Now I get to go home and tell my wife she was right!

My mother’s first visit. She is 91 and has mobility and speech difficulties. Every staff member was extremely patient and understanding. Dr. Mayatte was so kind to honor my mother’s request to allow me to sit in the exam room with her. He thoroughly explained all of his findings to me and offered to show me( no thanks). He answered all questions I had in making decisions for treatment. Never did he express any urgency or pressure to proceed with treatment. Dr. Mayatte’s trustworthiness and professionalism made us feel secure in returning to begin treatment.

Really great place! And I don’t like going to the dentist! :) From Ms. Carolyn greeting you when you walk in, to my hygienist, Holly, and Dr. Mayette, everyone makes you feel like family. They catered to my specific needs, and I would definitely recommend them.

The staff are so nice, friendly, and professional! This was my first appointment and I was impressed with the staff, location, and office.

I have enjoyed mayette family dentistry. It is always so clean and everyone is very nice. The lady at the front desk is always smiling and check in is super easy. There is minimal wait time until you called to the back. While in the back you are greeted with even more smiles and a knowledgeable staff who care for you as a person. Dr Burke is very nice as well as her hygienists. They also help my family with scheduling. They stagger mine and my husbands appointments so we do not have to leave the children alone.

They are the best. Always super sweet. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Ive been going to Mayatte Family Dentistry for over a year and a half now and have been very pleased with their services. There are always friendly faces from the time you walk in the door until the time you leave. Also, the technology they have allows you to see whats going on, and the doctors and hygienists are great at explaining to you whats going on during procedures and how to keep your teeth and mouth healthy. There isnt anything scary about going to this dentist, since the staff makes you feel welcome with great conversation. Thank you Dr. Burke and Teresa for your wonderful services!
