I moved here a few months ago and have loved it here! Management and maintenance have not let me down yet! I have yet to have to leave a message for the office being Mrs.Tiffany answer at the second ring lol. I just love living here. It’s very very quiet and I have yet to be denied help from the office or maintenance. The respond time is literally in minutes rather email or by phone and I’m forever grateful! I definitely will refer more people to live here! Remember, it’s not where you live but how you live and this has been one of my best stays!

Enjoy living here. Very peaceful, quiet and friendly neighbors. Have had to reach out to Management for one concern and she was very prompt with correcting issue. Highly recommend!

I have lived here for a little over a year. When I first moved here, management was so hard to get in touch of. The Apartment manger Tiffany is AMAZING. She is quick to respond and responds KINDLY. She is intelligent, efficient, and kind.

Would definitely recommend living here! I’ve been here a year and a half and office manager, Tiffany, and maintenance gentleman, Brandon, are always on the ball and super friendly!! 10/10 recommend

I lived here for three years. It was fine while Jeanette ran the property full time. Things fell apart after she left. Everything became the tenants fault/problem. Windstorm blew the car cover down on my wifes truck... Not the complexs fault. Although, our insurance company said it was. Sewer backs up and sprays raw sewage all over the parking area. Not their fault... The city made it happen. Trashy neighbors wont scoop after their pets so the whole lawn smells like hot dog waste all summer? Also not The Traces fault. Why enforce the scooping policy?Then they had the audacity to cram an admittedly broken enterprise internet system down the tenants throats. After all, why should one person have bad internet by themselves when we can all share a bad connection together?This complex is a dumpster fire. Stay far away.

Have no idea who the new property manager is now. There have been so many in and out in the past year. Who ever has taken over now is extremely unfriendly. Air conditioner is leaking AGAIN ( after being replaced.. They didnt even finish replacing it so weve had a large hole in our ceiling for almost a year now). Tried to report it to property manager, they are being rude and unhelpful. Dont move here! You will have so many problems that go unheard and unfixed. The only time property manager is available is when rent is due. Awful!

Update: I have left my previous review and pictures for the purpose of showing how much has changed in just one month.Miss Darlin, the new property manager, has been the greatest blessing to The Trace at North Major! As you can see below, our first few months at this complex were horrible, but thankfully my familys concerns were heard. Darlin has gone above and beyond to answer our overlooked service requests. She got maintenance and vendors out to our apartment to address EVERY issue we had within one week. Then, Kellie, a Seldin supervisor, contacted my family with the most sincere apology and she followed through with the promises she made to us to make up for all the inconveniences we went through. I have never seen a company make such a drastic change for the better so quickly! I applaud all the actions taken to show genuine respect and care for their residents. Darlin, Kelley, and all the great people that work at Seldin, you have gained my respect and admiration. Thank you for everything and well done!!!1 Month Ago:We are paying extra for an UPDATED apartment, and yet basically everything is breaking or coming apart. Our AC isnt working, the safety bar in our bathtub broke and I ended up hitting my head because of this, our flooring is coming up from the foundation, our dryer doesnt work, our dishwasher doesnt work, our refrigerator is leaking, we have bees coming in through our bedroom window, our window panes in our living room broke off so WE PAID TO FIX THEM since no one else would come and fix them!!! I have put in numerous service requests, spoken with the front office and even called the DISCONNECTED after hours line! Ive even called and come to the front office during business hours a few times with NO ANSWER! Save yourself the trouble, and dont move here...EVER!

I’ve been living here for awhile and although it’s a decent place to live management does not care about anybody’s problems for the simple fact they are never even in the office business hours are supposedly 8am-5pm but that won’t stop them from leaving an hour or two early.

I have lived here for two years now. The staff has been nothing but helpful since I came in to inquire. Any issues that I have had have been addressed and taken care of in a timely manner. Mrs. Jeanette has been very professional and assisted me with any situation I have brought to her attention. When it is time to renew my lease there is no question if I am staying or not. It’s a small complex and I thought it would be noisy with the location near the busy road but it’s quiet and the community is kid and pet friendly!

It seems the staff at The Trace at North Major Drive is selective of who they choose to be helpful and nice to. A more professional and courteous response, a response of great customer service would run along the lines of “Oh, I’m really sorry we can’t help you with that. It’s a policy of the complex……” or “I wish I could help, but that’s truly out of my hands. As an alternative perhaps you could ….”Those are just two examples of many.Instead, the way the staff responds to questions and concerns clearly indicate they have not been properly trained to respond to customers with empathy and professionalism. Just before moving in, at least they would say, “O.k. talk soon,” or “Goodbye now,” or “Have a nice day.”AFTER moving in, they (one individual) just hung up at the end of the conversation.”In addition to hanging up, I must repeat that her responses over a few conversations demonstrate a zero sense of helpfulness. It’s a matter of time before a tenant will no longer maintain his/her “cool.”We should’ve moved to another complex where they don’t seem bothered to do their job.Lastly, we were quoted fees that were off.Is this a sign that others have been scammed for $50 here and there in the past?While no one is perfect, there are certain things a business in no way should make a mistake with, and one of those at the top of the list is with money matters.These mistaken fees occurred twice. That’s not a good pattern, and is a cause for concern.As a test, we made two calls with a different tenant watching from afar, the office manager upon seeing the phone chose not to answer the call.If the Beaumont Trace Team strives to give everyone friendly service, I urge you to get retrained, because it seems they are being selective with whom they choose to be courteous and professional. It also seems that one-too-many questions is a hassle or a strain for them to handle when an individual/tenant needs clarification or understanding. If you can’t or choose not to do your job optimally, look for a different one, but no one should experience uncomfortable conversations at the expense of your lack of interest in helping others.If this matter must be taken to the actual owners or board members of the complex, I will make sure to suggest a script for its office managers to follow. The best businesses and corporations with outstanding customer service follow a script to ensure discomfort amongst its customers is avoided.

Terrible management, you can never get in touch with them and they never try to contact you back. The last 6 months I lived there almost weekly I had to put in work orders on all applicenses becuase nothing worked . they did temporary fixes and moved on. The people are rude and never tell you anything. The way they installed the community wifi leaves a hole in the wall backed to the neighbor, you hear everything they say or do in the living room. The parking lot was a nightmare, random people parking in the assigned spots most not even renting there. My assigned spot was always occipied by a random car. Management ignored my concerns like always. They are super nice before you move in then after your first months rent you never see or hear from them again. Everything inside is outdated and needs to be replaced not worth the money.
