I brought my mother in for a perm who speaks a little English. Amy took very good care of my mother and was very patient with her. I could hear from the sitting area. I thanked Her for Taking good care of my mother. She was happy with her perm. We will be back.

I took a bold step in trying a new hairstyle. She compared it to both Dora the Explorer and Lord Farquad from Shrek while cutting my hair. I laughed it off the entire time she made jokes because at that point I couldn’t leave as it was already almost done. When she took off my cape she said “Go, Dora go!”. I don’t know if she realized how rude she was being, but she turned what I imagined to be a cute and fun new haircut into something I’m beyond ashamed of; all I can see is her comments, despite what other people tell me. I’ve been to several fantastic sams before but I don’t think I will ever return. She made me genuinely want to cry.

I have been going here since they opened and always see Amanda. Sometimes I just get a cut and sometimes also a color. I have never been disappointed. Amanda has always been honest with me about ideas. Everyone there has always been very nice.

I was recently in fantastic Sams in Austin. I was pleasantly surprised for a Last minute decision to try this salon for a haircut. The stylist I had was named Amy. She was super friendly and I enjoyed my overall experience. Gave me exactly what I asked for. I will be back, hopefully I will get her again.

I called early on this afternoon to inquire about a possible appointment to get my hair cut, no one answered, I went online and booked an appointment for 3:45, when I arrived the doors were locked with signs plastered on the shop windows, they were very rude and intimidating. You MUST have an appointment, you MUST call from your car to check in So I called the number. A woman named Alisha told me that she had no record of any appointment for me and that they were completely booked, too busy to get me in. I told her. Covid 19 is no excuse to treat people badly... I will go somewhere else so I drove to Great Clips a few blocks away. I called them from my car and asked if I could get an appointment, they told me to wear a face mask and come on in. When I pulled the door handle it was not locked. I used the hand sanitizer that was provided at the door. Janie was very warm and friendly, she gave me a great haircut!Hey Alisha,people want to be treated with dignity and repect!

I was there two weeks ago for an eyebrow wax they asked the questions for the COVID, I wrote down I was positive on June 28, 2020 and they asked me if was I clear and I said yes so they let me in. When I came in today to get my haircut they told me, I wasn’t allowed in because I had to get papers saying I was cleared, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS 4 MONTHS AGO

Fantastic Sams in Austin is amazing! All the ladies there are so nice and do a great job, especially the manager! With having two different shaped eyebrows, no one can ever get them the same, but they can! High recommend them!

The staff here is friendly but you hardly ever get what you asked for. Last time they cut way more than what I requested. And one thing it ticks me its that they dont include a blowout into the already pricey prices. Went there for a second time because of the convenience that its in town but for my next haircut I am going somewhere else.

Great haircuts. The people here listen to you, and make sure you leave with a good experience. Its a little more costly than your typical chain salon, but its well worth removing the risks involved with going to your basic chain salon. Have had 3 different people cut my hair here, and nothing but good experiences.

Been coming here for a few months now and Im always greeted with a smile and friendly staff. Love the way my hair turns out every time.

I decided to take my daughter and myself out for a girls day out getting our hair cut and getting our nails done afterwards. So stopped in to fantastic same to get our hair cut. The lady who cut both my and my daughters hair was EXTREMELY rude to both me and my daughter. She made smart remarks about the color of my hair since I decided to try to go blonde a few weeks back and was waiting to dye it again. Not to mention there were customers all around while she was sitting that bashing on my hair. Then continued to be rude throughout our whole haircuts . she did not include our shampooing which I was unaware they did until after i left this after noon I wish I would have caught her name. Little longer then shoulder length light brown hair. ALSO WISH I COULD HAVE GAVE YOU 0 STARS YOU ARE RUDE

Great customer service every time I have been here. Price is a little high for a wax if yoh do more than just the eye brows but definitely worth it.

Very disappointed, today at 3:45 pm they just keep avoiding me for more than 1 hour. if they dont wanna cut my hair they should let me know it previously. maybe is because i stink like restaurant kitchen, that happens when I work all day. if thats the problem Im sorry my house is 20 minutes away from Austin, no time to take a shower before haircut

I think their price for kids haircuts is a bit high. Literally done cutting my sons hair in 5 minutes and its $15 plus tip.
