First time ever buying a new car. Got a 2021 Nissan Leaf. Called ahead to look at one and when I got to the dealership they had it in the front ready for a test drive. The negotiation and finance process was really fast and easy. Overall I was at the dealership for 2 hours. If you want someone to ask for ask for Mike. I’ve dealt with a lot of salesmen that somehow the cars they’re specialized and trained to sell don’t know a clue about what they’re selling. Mike went above and beyond every question I had was answered and even showed me programs that would give me rebates (now that I own an electric car). Would highly recommend this dealership and will be coming back if I ever look to trade in my Leaf.

Stopped into the dealership on Friday morning at 7, October 1 2021. I was having problems with my trailer plug not working on my 2017 Titian XD. I took out a fuse/relay for the trailer harness. The guy in the parts department told me to get the guy at the service desk to check the fuse/relay with their voltage meter before I paid $42 each for the fuse/relay. The clown at the desk informed me that he had no way at all to check my fuse/relay because he don’t have a press. Since I was traveling back home to SC, I just turned around a left. I pulled my granddaughter’s horse in the trailer without any working lights for 651 miles to Missouri to drop off her horse. Not only did I not have trailer lights, I also didn’t have any heated mirrors to keep my mirrors free from rain on Saturday, nor any cargo lights.

Honestly, this is the worst car buying experience Ive ever had. My brand new 2021 vehicle only has 4000 miles on its 4000 miles on it and yet its needed service 3 times and spent a total of 3 weeks in the shop. I called the check on the status of it today, and my answer was I gotta look around and see where your vehicle is at.. Theyve had my car 3 days for an oil change. They gave me a loner which is a 2019 base model Central which is not even remotely compatible or resembles the upgrades or driving style of my 2021 Nissan.. Go somewhere else if you are into service and convenience.

Shameful. Literally nobody was wearing masks. There was a group over by the service counter (first picture) that literally just hung out and had a boys club without masks. People walked around without them. Lady greeting and answering the phone didnt put one on the whole time we were there. They didnt enforce it at all. Never buying a car from here.

All I can do is trust the word of the service agent, but through my own testing and diagnosis the alternator was not dead. I wish they had checked the battery cable and battery properly before replacing the alternator that may not have needed replacing

Yasha was extremely helpful from the beginning. He listen to what we were looking for, showed us the models we were interested in, and educated us on the difference that made it easier to make a choice. On top of making our experience easy his attitude was great.

For some reason they tried to prevent me from receiving the $500 college grad credit, by stating that the credit and Nissan incentives couldn’t “stack”. I asked literally 4 times during the buying process. Had to hassle them afterwards, and provide examples of other dealers who said that’s not the case. Looks like they’re “taking care of it” and going to cut me a check. No apology offered from the GM. Simple apologies and “that was our miss” go a long way. It feels like the moment you let your guard down with a dealer, something occurs that isn’t in the customers best interest.

My car broke down & was towed to the service center at Tynan’s. Luke communicated with me so well throughout the entire process, including navigating a parts shortage. He even managed to get the car worked into the schedule to have the issue diagnosed within 24 hours of it being dropped off, despite their schedule already being incredibly full.They let me know immediately when it was ready for pick-up - they had the part installed within a couple of hours of the part arriving. The keys & close-out receipt were already ready & waiting for me with the cashier when I arrived (the issue was covered under warranty, so I owed nothing). I was out the door in less than 2 minutes, & car is working beautifully again.I live on the other side of town & will now be bringing it here for all its maintenance. I was referred to Tynans through the Costco Auto Program and was pleased with the pricing.The only complaint that I have is that there was a female salesperson that wore her mask below her chin for a good half hour before customers started coming in, which was disrespectful to those who have lost loved ones to Covid-19 and to the state mandate for businesses to require wearing masks indoors. If you want Genuine Nissan parts used on your Nissan, this isnt the Nissan Service Department to go to. If youve had work done here, Google every part number used, youll possibly find they go to local part stores if not in stock and over charge aftermarket parts. Surprise, part failed, check engine light back on. Sad, when service guy tries talking smack they dont have OBD reader for vehicle. OBDX coming soon to Tynans LOL. After my family members have purchased and owned over 10 Nissans thru the years, we are all agreeing after this, no more Nissans.
