Yesterday I went to Schomp Subaru after seeing a Forester I really liked online. When I first went in, the car I had wanted wasn’t available because someone else had a deposit on it. My salesperson, Evan, was very helpful in showing me a similar option that I ended up liking a lot but was a bit out of my price range. I asked him to let me know if the one I had originally came in for became available. Within a couple hours, Evan had reached out to me to let me know the car I originally wanted had become available. I had to bring back my 2013 Impreza for another oil consumption test. Made the appointment 2 months ago. Apparently they would like for the customer to keep the same service representative with every time. I was impressed to see the same people still working there and some had moved up in their position, thumbs up!! I purchased a used Subaru Forrester XT from a dealership in Fort Collins, and unfortunately, it broke down on me within the first week of ownership. I took the car to Schomp Subaru for service and got paired up with Luis. From the very first interaction, Luis was very professional, knowledgeable, and communicative. While my car ended up needing an engine replacement, turbocharger, oil pump, and a few other parts, Luis went out of his way to fight with the extended warranty company to get my car fixed under warranty. Due to the extensive nature of the repair and the battle with the warranty company, I had to visit the dealership multiple times and ended up having the car at the shop for months. I love my car and I am happy with my purchaseHowever, I am very disappointed with the service I received from one of the sellers.When I came on site to shop for cars, the seller was kind and professional. It was a busy day so the seller suggested me to get my car delivered at my home, so I dont have to wait more time over there. I thought it was a great idea, but it wasnt. From there, the quality of service just went down.At the dealer site, I clearly told the seller that I needed the car as soon as possible. He promised me that my car would be delivered very quickly. I wasnt the case at all. I lost two days waiting for my car. I left the Subaru dealer at 12:30 pm on Friday. The seller first told me that my car will be delivered on the same day. I was not. I spent all my Friday waiting. I also spent all my Saturday waiting. It is only around 5pm that the seller told me that he will be there at 6:30 pm, no later than 7pm. My car wasnt delivered until 8h15pm.The more time passed, the more I wondered what was going on with the process. I called the seller three times to have updates. Each time, the seller told me the same thing; Let me look at few things and I will call you back in about 30 minutes. The three times I waited at least 2 hours and it was I who had to call back. When I called back, it was always the same excuses Sorry I have been very busy or ‘’ I am waiting for someone to pick me up for the delivery’’.I totally understand that sellers are busy with other clients on site. However, even if I am not at the dealers anymore, I am still a client who just spent a lot of money on a car and like anyone else, I deserve a good service and some consideration.

I recently purchased a 2022 Outback Touring, I checked my local dealership Ive worked with since 1988. Something is different, the service I received was like the old expression Used Car Sales Guy, I checked several dealerships along the Front Range. After sending a message via Schomps Dru contacted me around 7PM (about 2-3 hours after posting) via a phone call. The other dealerships I contacted either responded via an email bot or contacted me several days later with an indifferent attitude, After we had a few discussions I realized Dru truly was focused on excellent customer service. Look, Im buying what I consider is the 2nd most expensive thing I buy (house being #1), and excellent customer service should be expected. Dru exceeded my expectations, and was also quick to respond via email, a call or SMS text each time I had a question. This really made a difference. Even Tai, who provided a tour of the car after I bought it (look, my first car was a 68 Firebird and zero tech doodads that I could do all my maintenance compared to just the touchscreen Subaru now uses - I do miss my Firebird) was fabulous.You can buy a Subaru from any dealership and youll get the same car. The difference - customer service. Dealerships who provide great customer service are the one to work with, and they earn the right to sell you a car. Dru is a great rep for Schomp.Im really tired of everything being done via The Web. Im an IT Technology Architect at the carrier level with my career started at the dawn of the release of Ethernet. Some things are fine via the Internet. Buying a car, house or other expensive items needs to have great customer service. I won’t go to any other Subaru dealership in Colorado!! I live over an hours drive away, and there’s another Subaru dealer 15 minutes from my apartment. I’d STILL drive all the way up to Schomp! They restored my faith in car dealers, and showed me what real customer service is. My favorite things about Schomp:1. They didn’t pass me off to a finance guy to finish my car deal. I got to keep the nice salesman who had been helping me from the beginning.2. My salesman really listened to me and what I needed. He was very responsive, and helpful, and we were able to do most of the paperwork electronically before I came in to pick up the car saving me hours spent at the dealership.3. I was assisted with finding and learning about all of the vehicles features and settings by a very personable car expert. It was truly vip treatment.4. They helped me during a stressful and difficult time in my life, and enabled me to not worry about my car purchase.5. Most importantly!! They stuck to their word. I had to order a car in due to the car market right now and even though it had been 6 weeks since they had appraised my car they still gave me the same trade in amount.I them to give me allllll the dealership labeled stuff they could, key chains and plate holders for front and back because I wanted everyone to know where I got my beautiful car from. They delivered. Can’t thank them enough for everything!

Im currently in the process of purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, and no words can express just how pleasant the experience has been so far. Richie has been the most helpful and honest car salesman with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working, and I believe hes officially converted my family from purchasing old, used vehicles off Craigslist to finally trusting a dealership. Worked with Dru Larson to buy our daughter a Subaru as she was going off to school. Dru spent several days working with us to find the right car for her and did an amazing job listening to our needs and keeping in mind our parameters. He really listened to us and made the whole experience seamless. When we showed up to surprise our daughter he even put a giant red bow on the car for her! The look on her face was priceless. I don’t like the hassle of buying cars. The slimy sales guys, the high pressure tactics, the half a day I need to waste to “get the best deal”. I don’t have the patience for that.Thankfully, Schomp makes it extremely easy. I worked with David L. on trading out of my old lease and into a new one on a new ascent and the process was completely seamless. We actually did most of the deal over text, so I didn’t feel like I was wasting time at the dealership. Also, I came in with my son for a service appointment the other day, David happened to see me struggling with the car seat and wrangling a 2 year old. He carried my car seat for me and provided an extra hand even when he didn’t need to! That’s great people service.When my car came in, I just went to the dealership and 45 minutes later was out the door and driving in my new ascent. If you like easy, this is the place to go.
