The Smoky Hill public storage facility is great and suits our needs perfectly. Eric has been a fantastic guy to deal with. Always so happy to help us and address any questions we have. Even though we are moving house away from this location, we’re continuing to store our belongings here literally because Eric has always looked after us and has been so polite and courteous if he’s ever needed to contact us about our unit.Would recommend this facility to everyone. It’s clean, secure and the staff are happy to help.

They went above and beyond to help me obtain a promotion for my storage rental. They are also very knowledgeable. Jenapher made switching units so easy. She took time to explain everything that needed to be changed as well as put me in the closest spot next to my current unit. She went above and beyond and made me feel like more than just a unit. :)) such a good experience!!!

This location is awesome! The employees great too, Jenapher and Reanne BOTH were a great help and very friendly. They were really busy when I came in and were still able to they handled everything professionally and smooth. Got me in and out in just a couple minutes!

I have been a tenant at this location for almost two years and am/was planning to stay for at least another year. Lately my rates have been randomly raised without any reasonable response to my inquiries. My attempts to contact Public Storage managers have been utterly frustrating. I have left repeated massages and have had no response. In the mean time, late fees are unnecessarily being accrued. I hope someone will contact me to take care of this matter soon.Thanks

I showed up to my scheduled appointment 30 minutes early and Malcolm helped me get my unit set up. He explained all of the specifics regarding terms and unit information. He was very professional and provided excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this location to others because of the security measures they take and the cleanliness of the property.

Horrific inefficient elevator situation to move items upstairs! Need to update system to key card or manager have ability to turn elevator timer off for a timely move if secured facility. Became costly while paying movers added 2 hours keying in code 3 times ever use of elevator. Do not store anything above ground floor, very inefficient. Update carts as well!

I couldn’t have been any more pleased with the service I received yesterday from Eric. He was beyond helpful and insightful when it came to helping me decide which size and location for my units would be best based on my my exact storage needed. He was patient, respectful and very accommodating. He truly showed that he cares about making sure his Customers leave happy and have found exactly what they need in a storage unit. He even went as far as to make me an appointment for the next day at another location since he unfortunately didn’t have one of the sizes of units that I needed. Also the prices of the units were unbeatable. I know that from now on this is where I will go with any storage needs I may have in the future for myself or my family/friends.

Just moved out of my unit after 4 months and realized they have people living in their storage units able to go through all my stuff locked up and stole most of my tools costing a pretty penny. Of course they are not aware of this going on, but cant seem to get the manager or district manager to call me back. Bad business. Take your business elsewhere this place is scandless.

I have been very stressed with an upcoming move, transitioning between homes. This location, though not the closest to me (still very close), offered the most selection at the best price. Eric provided great customer service. He was very transparent beforehand on the phone with me about the cost with the promotional offer and the additional charges. He showed me several available units in various sizes and locations. He was very patient and friendly with me considering I have never rented storage before. He looked at all available units in the system and found one that was in the most convenient location at an even better than advertised price. He was really looking out for the customer. In the end, I ended up with a unit that met my needs in size, in a very convenient location, and at a marvelous price. Thank you for making my first experience as stress-free as possible!

Great customer service. Debbie was very friendly! All the staff I spoke to on the phone was very nice!However, it was advertised as $1 for the first month of renting plus $24 in admin fees, was kind of a shocked when the final price wasnt near that. Unfortunately, still need the unit and had to pay, wish I had known ahead of time though.

We called Public Storage and talked to Eric. He was FANTASTIC. He literally went above and beyond the call of duty. We called and asked for measurements and he went out and measured the height of the gate with an actual ruler. When we mentioned another unit he went out and measured the unit as well. When we went in, he was even nicer in person. He really did go above and beyond and we’re really grateful for Eric. Thank you!

Needed some space to move garage items to so I signed up for a locker. The day before we determined that my daughter needed to use some of the space as well so we needed to upgrade. Eric made it really easy. Showed us the shed and gave us the lock. Super easy process, found us the coast locker to the door and made renting it a breeze. Place is very clean.

It was cheap. But the service was terrible. I called atleast 20 times during my 1 year stay, and I never got anyone to answer or v any call backs.

Rented a 10x20 storage unit at this location. Unit was super clean! The staff at this location was amazing, really exceeded my expectations. My wife and I needed a second unit 10x10 and Eric stayed a few minutes late to help us get the second unit.The manager on duty was very helpful in meeting our needs. Everybody here are really customer focused and will go out of their way to help you within reason.Public storage will be my first choice for my storage needs.If you need storage and are not using public storage youre doing it wrong!!!

Nice clean building. The workers were friendly. However the $1 move-in is a joke. I was told over the phone when I reserved the unit it was $14 a month for the 5x5 unit. when I got to the place to finalize everything they charge you for a lock you cant bring your own they charge you a $24 administration fee they charge you for insurance even if you have your own. By the time it was all said and done I paid almost $63 for the first month. They literally nickel and dime you in fees.$63 for what I expected to be less than $20 is kind of insane especially when they advertise $1 for the first month absolutely hilarious.

Extremely poor customer service. Never have I been treated so poorly in a business in all my life. Eric yelled at me to get out of his office when I tried to tell him I couldnt get into the unit. I said it was locked, how am I supposed to go in? By nature of there not being a lock on it? I told him that he didnt have to be rude, they had kept me waiting for 30+ minutes to get checked in and I needed help. Well you need to not be rude to me. He immediately began to yell at me to get out of his office.If this man is working, request different help. He does not know the meaning of customer service.

The staff, Eric, Ryann, and Michelle were excellent, professional, and very friendly. The storage grounds are clean, and well lit. I researched storage options in this area and Public Storage was the best deal by far. I am very impressed with this location and feel great about this choice.

Dont get on the womans bad side (if your storage partner tells fantastic stories about you to make himself look good shell be all over that like flies to poo!) Make up her own hours and try to kick you out early and make up other arbitrary and unwritten rules to which you must comply! Oh and you better believe your partner will get a personalized, overly friendly call/message if you visit your own unit within business hours, making no noise or drawing any attention minding your own business!

That dude’s just an internet review troll* FANTASTIC STAFF I showed up on 6/6/20 right at 5:00pm on a Saturday afternoon not realizing the office was about to close. Staff member Eric ( not sure what his last name is) was clocked out and just about to leave when he noticed I was having trouble getting in. He stopped everything he was doing and reopened the office just to help me out. To top it all off, my front license plate fell off of my car as well and was blowing down the road because of high winds. He went chasing after it and tracked me down just make sure I got it back! ALL THE WHILE HE WAS OFF THE CLOCK! what an all-star employee Eric is! This guy deserves a raise! #facts

Unit was 2nd floor and admin fees are almost as expensive as just paying * $1 first month. Unable to change mind once booked unless you want to give them $50 for doing nothing

Debbie was very helpful and kind and went over every single detail about the storage usage and codes and even walked me to the storage to make sure I knew how to use the key and the lock. She was amazing!

Eric is a total life saver! I was having a bad morning, concerning our POD storage. I needed a lock, called, and eventually drove to Public Storage. Eric was super helpful, friendly, and professional, on the phone, as well as in person. We chatted about if his store carried the correct lock I needed. Then, he went above and beyond to call Home Depot to see if they had what I needed. In this day and age, Customer Service can be extremely lacking, and frustrating. I can not say Thank you enough to Eric for his help. They have definitely earned my business the good old fashioned way, great Customer Service. PODS, never again, Public Storage from now on!

Ryann is a rock star. I rented a unit from her and her professionalism and hospitality was above reproach!! I came in a couple of days later to get an additional unit and received the same service but she went above and beyond when I had an issue and needed to use multiple carts to unload a truck. Thank you Ryann for that!! Even though Ryann helped me Eric assisted me as well when Ryann was unavailable the two days I was there at their facility. He’s a rockstar as well. Recently I was out of town and came back to check on my storage and with them as well. I have no complaint about the service I received! You two are a great asset to this company and I hope your manager sees this review. You’re appreciated more than you know!

Ryan and Eric are AWESOME! After I reserved my unit on line, Ryan called me to follow up and find out what time I would be by to look at the unit. I told her I wasnt sure and would call before I headed over. She was really nice. I called before I headed over and spoke with Eric. He also was very nice and said, We will see you when you get here. Upon entering Public Storage I was greeted warmly and Eric asked my name and we began chatting. He showed me two units, I took the second one. While I filled out the paperwork Eric explained everything. I dotted all the Is, crossed all the Ts and we were done.I have rented units in this location before, but the management was not as professional nice. It was truly a pleasant experience.

I just moved from New York to Colorado and I rented a storage a month ago. Yesterday when the truck came which was a 18 wheeler. We notice he couldn’t make it to where my storage room was at. With the help of the manager “Roger” he was able to get me a storage room close to the entrance so that the moving guy had an easier time off loading my stuff. Don’t know how much I appreciated Rogers help. He is a great man would recommend to anyone.

I just went in to by some boxes and the manager Ryann was very helpful and made me realize that I could really use a lot of other items for moving. I would recommend coming here for you moving supplies. Items are great quality and staff are friendly.

Only two miles from my apartment yet $37/month less expensive than the storage place next door to me. The Express reservation online saved a lot of time for when i first went to drop off my stuff. Also note Ryann was very nice and extremely efficient!

I reserved my unit online and when I went to check in I first talked to Tammi. She was very helpful and made getting into my unit simple. She caught me on my way into the unit one day to alert me that something was wrong with my lock. I had broken the key off in it and wasnt sure how to proceed. She took care of it for me which was incredibly helpful.Lately it has been Shannon that is in the office when I need to take care of things. Shannon is friendly and helpful. Shannon also has a very big heart. Her job is to manage storage units, but she gets that sometimes unpleasant things have happened to her customers to get them to her. She listened with empathy as I explained my unique situation to her so I could explain exactly what I needed. Of course she is limited in what she is able to do based on public storage policies, but she was very kind about it and knowledgeable and able to explain the resources they had available to meet my needs.Overall this is a professional yet very friendly to spend your money and store your belongings.Thanks for everything, ladies!Jen

My experience with public storage was great. My wife called on a Sunday morning and said we could come in at 12. We didnt end up making it in until 3, but they were still more than happy to help us.The unit was a 5 x 10 and was indoors. The unit was perfect for our needs and the person helping us even made sure by asking what kind of items we were storing. We were also told if we could fit everything in an upgrade to a bigger unit was not a problem.There were also plenty of access point to get to our unit when other people are blocking the door in. This happened when we were storing some things, but a door a little further down (closer than the door we used to get into the unit when being showed it) allowed us to get around them blocking it.Great company! Great staff! Great units!
