Really tried to avoid this review, but the level of service at this place is disgusting. Its a churn and burn salon that doesnt care about hygiene or quality of nails. I went to get an acrylic full set and a pedicure. The nail tech did my nails while doing my pedicure and began by putting tips on that were way too wide for my nail beds. She advised she would only shape and cut them once and the acrylic was dripping off my nail. I was unhappy with the thickness, shape, and quality of my nails.The front desk was originally nice about fixing them, but at that point there wasnt much to fix. My nails look like pistachio shells leaving and they overcharged me for a service I didnt request - I asked for acrylic medium nails and I left with sns dip powder with gel and short crooked/wide nails.They offered to redo them for an additional $47 after having done them so incredibly poorly.I paid and tipped (over 20%), and they refused to take accountability.If you want overpriced terrible nails and quality, with zero accountability, this is the place for you

Great place to go. The parking lot was a little tight but there is parking close by. They were slight crowded but everyone work so diligently. Very skillful and polite, speed of service was like no other. They offer waxing as well. So all in all a great one stop shop. Will be going back whenever im in the area.

This is the only nail salon where I felt I was a valued customer from the moment I walked in. They were very pleasant and made my appointment quick without making me feel rushed. I am very selective when it comes to my nails, shape and all. I was able to relax and trust that the technicians were skilled and would give me what I asked for. Mai even went out of her way, suggesting a similar alternative for my usual. My friend was very happy with her set as well, they beautifully replicated a picture she bought in. They definitely have a returning client in me.

Extremely disappointed in this Salon!!! I was recommended by a friend who is a regular here so I figured I’d give it a try! I’ve had services done about 4 times and out of those times my nails have cracked 3 times. I figured bc they were so long that could be the cause of this recurring issue, cool. The fourth time I went I got them a lot shorter and they still proceeded to crack days later. Mind you, I don’t do any heavy lifting or anything strenuous to cause my nails to break or crack! Instead of ignoring it like I usually do, I went into the salon today to have it fixed. It took 45 minutes and 2 nail techs to fix ONE NAIL!!! JUST ONE! Then one of the nail tech’s asks me how she should fix it! Completely unacceptable for her to ask me how to do HER JOB! Expecting this service to be complimentary as I just got them done less than a week ago, they still charged me saying that they only repair nails broken or cracked the day after the service. Obviously no ones nails are going to chip or break that fast. I also do not live near the salon and got my nails done the day before going out of town! I will spread the word to NOT go to this salon! Not worth the wait, trashy service and low quality nail technique!

Great place to go! I was coming in town to help a friend and wanted to get a little special treatment for myself but I had my dog with me, so I called and they said it was ok to bring her with me. I got there and the place is beautiful with elegant chandeliers. I got a pedicure and full set and both techs were so friendly and welcoming. I most definitely will go back whenever Im back in town. I absolutely love it 😍❣️😍❣️

I am disappointed this time. Paint job isnt good and I had to come home and shape the myself. I wouldnt write them off but I will be way more selective when getting a fill in.Edit: I was sure to get a different technician this time and got much better result!

Came as a walk in on a busy Sunday with a friend. A lot of the previous nail salons I went to in Atlanta have a difficult day one shaping my SNS nails the way I prefer (short & almond shape) or either do a sloppy job. But at this location I had Tom as my nail tech and he was PERFECT. Definitely coming here from now on.

Absolutely amazing! I have never had a experience like this getting my nails done. My feet and hands don’t same time and a back massage all at once I felt like royalty LOL all I needed was a glass of wine!

Their prices are a tad bit higher than other salons but its well worth the extra coins. My set always lasts until Im ready to get a fill in. The staff are very nice and professional as well. It can get busy on weekends but youre never waiting long because they have so many workers on the floor which i love as well. Overall this is my forever nail salon that I will be going to in Atlanta.

Piedmont Nails is the best in Atlanta! I have been going to see Steven for years. Margaret at the front is the most kind, knows her clients by name and always provides top notch service. Steven is the BEST ever - my nails are always perfectly shaped and even. My SNS looks natural, not thick. His attention to detail is unparalleled. While SNS manicures are my usual, Ive also had great pedicures and gel manicures done here as well.

This place is the BEST in Atlanta! I have tried over 15 locations across the city and the treatment, the professionalism, the cleanliness, and the customer service is superb! You will not be disappointed! Joanna, Tina, and Seven are spectacular! Everyone else is too, but those 3 are the ones I normally go too. And they are following Covid guidelines so I feel safe! This place does decent work and if you call ahead, you wont have much of a wait. Ive been other places that do the dipped powder/SNS way better and for cheaper though. The pedicures are well worth the time and price. Im never quite 100% satisfied with my nails but the pedicures keep bringing me back.

I got the Piedmont Voesh Pedicure yesterday. It was my first time at this place and the service was poor. The Pedicure was mediocre to say the least. Hot towel was placed for barely 3mins..the pack was put on for less than 5mins. Massage was not even like one, I was like a lotion application, nothing more. I asked to increase the temperature of the water while soaking, she dint do it. I can still feel the dry and dead skin on my feet. Absolutely not worth the money. Only nail polish application was good.

Love this place however today they let me down big time. Hopefully the time management gets better as I walked out with SNS removed but nails not done. At least I got a good pedicure today. Now I have to find someplace later in to do my nails .

Overall, Ive had a pretty good experience here and have been many times over the past 5-6 years. However, there are some times where the technician just seems to want to get me out of the seat and done. I am pretty detailed and actually very good at doing my own nails, so when I walk out feeling that I could have done better its a little disappointing. Unfortunately I felt that way with the latest technician I had. They did both a manicure and pedicure for me and both were sub-par for professional services.Since this isnt the normal situation, giving 4 stars because Ill still return. I may just find a technician I prefer and start booking appointments with them to avoid this situation again.

I am sure they have some great folks here because the place is PACKED but our experience hasn’t been stellar. We called for an appt around 10am this morning because there are 4 of us. They sat us close together which is nice, but then we waited a while to be served. And they started one person way before anyone else so she had to wait when she was done, away from the group. None of this is that bad but the customer service by the nail techs was non-existent and the massage during the pedicure was sad. You can go from a three-star pedi to a five-star with a good massage, right?

Even on a busy Saturday morning, the kind staff at Piedmont Nails and Spa will get you situated fast. The service is professional, the location is clean as well. Saturdays are busy but you will never feel rushed. I used the massage chair...was a little tough for me to figure out. 😊😊

Beware future customers! I’ve been a customer of Piedmont Nails for over 5 years, but over the past 6 months the experience for me has become so disappointing that I will be taking by biweekly sns manicure and monthly pedicure to another salon. The technicians do a great job and are always very friendly, but this is the third time where I had made an appointment ahead of time and waited over 30 minutes. I would have greatly appreciated if the front desk communicated when I checked in that they were running behind, but this is how they run there business because it seems like they purposely overbook. Be prepared to not receive a genuine apology or explanation - your just expected to deal with how they run there business. After today, I finally said something and was told that “there business should be compared to a doctors office and they are doing there best.” Not the response or apology I was hoping to receive - instead I was provided with a defensive attitude and condescending tone from Margaret. I’m all for giving grace and second chances, but this is the last time I’ll be returning and I was a loyal customer that spent a lot money on overpriced services. My hope is that the most recent reviews will raise a red flag to management because the front desk needs to focus on time management, being honest with customers, and communication skills. Best of luck and I hope things can get turned around.

There are several nail techs that do a good job. It is important to know what works for your nails and find the tech you like. They have a rewards card that earns discounts after a few visits and plenty massage chairs for spa pedicures. They get very busy on Friday nights, so plan your visit accordingly. Parking can be a nightmare, since it is in the heart of Midtown, so be prepared to park across the street or elsewhere and walk if the few spots are full.

Piedmont Nails is my absolute favorite nail salon in Atlanta!! Every technician is excellent and they are always so profession. The salon is nice and clean with plenty of chairs and technicians, and it is very easy to make an appointment. The techs are always efficient, but I never feel rushed. Also, Margaret in the front is AMAZING! She runs that place like a well oiled machine and literally does it all! I highly recommend Piedmont Nails.

I’ve been wearing acrylics since March 2018 and I began wearing them again (last time was in 2016 for a few months) because I wanted to have an act of self care that I could look down at and see evidence of. There’s something about having well-manicured nails that makes the day-to-day more exhilarating and pretty nails give me a boost when I’m feeling uninspired.I chose acrylics because they’re durable and long. Regular manicures don’t last and gel is too thick and doesn’t last either.In the month of May, I started a new job and needed to cut down my acrylics. I got them trimmed and painted in OPI’s Samoan Sands with a clear gel topcoat. After two weeks with my set utterly grown out, I wanted the acrylics OFF. I suddenly became over them and I wanted them GONE. They grow out too quickly for me and even with a gel coat, they don’t look good enough for my liking after two weeks.I missed my natural nails, but I didn’t know what my next mani move would be. While I was visiting home, a family friend told me to get dip nails, also called SNS. I searched “dip nails Atlanta” on Google and found Piedmont Nails & Spa. After having lunch at the Sweet Auburn Market, I headed to the salon excited to finally get my acrylics removed. It was busy when I arrived, but I got seated right away. The women at the front desk was helpful and was doing a marvelous job at assisting customers. She directed me to the hundreds of colors offered in SNS and regular polish for my toes. I found a lot of nice nude colors, which is my go-to pallet, but decided to go with white so that I could ensure my mani/pedi matched. It was also a safe color to get for my first time trying SNS.Holly started with my pedicure and shortly after, Lori came over to remove my acrylic nails and begin my manicure. She was super sweet and offered me a drink. The removal process took 30 minutes. Then she started on the SNS process. After my nails were dipped, she filed them into a beautiful coffin shape and applied a topcoat. At the end of it all, my toes and nails looked great. Thank you Holly and Lori. I had an efficient, satisfying experience and I can’t wait to come back. It’s nicely decorated, soothing environment, and very clean. They even have a Loyalty Rewards card which will hopefully prove itself useful in the future. Job well done Piedmont Nails & Spa!

Honestly one of - if not the best nail salons in Midtown. I searched high and low to find my go to nail place and I’ve been going here religiously since I moved to Midtown last spring. I have never had a bad experience here - the owner is SO nice and welcoming whenever I come in, Steven and Seven are the BEST when it comes to SNS. They’ve also done a TON recently re: COVID protection - never seated directly next to someone, there’s protective glass at the manicure stations, all staff where protective gear. Seriously this place is awesome.

I was a returning customer here for 1+ years and have historically loved it (previously rated 4 stars). On my last visit here, I had pink gel nails done (similar to previous times visited) and within three days, I noticed my nails turning a brown/tan color. Within five days the discoloration continued to worsen (photos are from 4 days in). I called the nail salon and thought that because I was a returning customer and have historically loved going here that they would have remedied the situation. The associate on the phone kept coming up with excuses as to why this would happened, suggesting I had changed my make up (Ive been wearing the same foundation, eye shadow etc.. for 5+ years), that curry couldve been the source of this (I hadnt eaten anything that would discolor my nails) during that period, and continued to only make excuses. She suggested I come in and pay (full price) for them to fix it.I will not be returning and would suggest you go to a different nail salon, as there are too many nail salons in the area that would have remedied the situation.

This salon does not value their customers. The female receptionist is very passive aggressive and rude, to say the least. After spending over $800 here, they wouldn’t even fix my nails after an extremely poor filing job. I will never return here as there are more salons with a better quality of service.

I made an appointment for 1:30pm, but I was two hours late. The receptionist was really busy when I walked in.Lori was my assigned nail technician, and she was amazing, sweet, friendly, and attentive to detail. I have been living in Atlanta for three years and my nails never looked this beautiful. I decided to get a regular spa pedicure and Andrew was also highly attentive, gentle, and took his time with my feet. I paid a total of 74.00 for my gel full in and spa pedicure, andIt was worth it.I would rate this salon as number #1 in Midtown. I did not get my eyebrows waxed, but I’m pretty sure it would look stunning because everyone is skilled. The salon location is next to a coffee shop for those that need an early touch up, grab a coffee as well. The salon atmosphere is very clean and all of the stations have protective shields between you and your nail tech. I only shared that for those who are concern about getting their nails or feet attended to. (AND YES PLEASE WEAR A FACE MASK OR NO SERVICE.)

Every time I go I have a great experience! They don’t rush to do your nails and they all go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience! The guy that did my last SNS actually listened to me and made sure I was really happy with my nails and even went back over them to get the look “we were wanting” as he said lol. Definitely made me feel like he cared! I highly recommend and I typically don’t leave reviews!

Got a gel manicure and it was done completely wrong. Within two days it was cracking and chipping. He never has me wash my hands to get the dust off and would only do one layer of polish for each part. He barely let me cure it for more than 30 seconds. My nails are a mess and it was an awful experience. I got this manicure for my wedding and it didn’t even last the weekend.

For Easter my 2 year old niece got her first pedicure! Service here is always phenominal and they were super accommodating with the little one. Always a great time, I never mind driving from Tucker to come here, the service is such a treat.

They were in such a rush because they were so crowed that day. They barely soaked my foot before they started scrubbing aggressively really didn’t even finish the job. I almost gave me a cracked heels because of that.

I was greeted immediately and told there was only about a 15 minute wait even though they were extremely busy. Sure enough only waited 10 min! I was offered water, soda or WINE as soon as I was sat. Song did a great job on my gel manicure and polish change on the toes. I WILL be back! Love the atmosphere.

My mom was visiting in town for Her birthday so I decided to get her a mani-pedi with my sister. When I called and made my appointment I thought I was making it at the usual nail and spa salon I go to on Piedmont, Allure Nails and Spa. I didn’t realize until I pulled up that I had made the appointment at the wrong place, but I was like well, we’re already here. How bad could it be?We were seated for about 30 minutes after our arriving early for our appointment. But I was OK with that honestly because it looked like today would have been a customer-steady flow type day. What I wasn’t OK with is how much the process was rushed. On my manicure they didn’t even let me wash my hands after filing the top of them, they just brushed it off. So by the time they put the gloss on, it wasn’t smooth. And I had to request a second coat because it was very dull. The place I usually go to automatically gives you two coats and pretty much every place else that I can remember that Ive visited in the past did the same thing. The hand massage was all of 30 seconds of I’m just doing this because it’s on the list. The pedicure pretty much followed suit. My feet soaked for maybe three minutes before she started scrubbing. I opted for an upgraded experience and it pretty much felt like I got a regular pedicure with one extra thing, the paraffin wax. Pretty much the same story with my mom.I was trying to do the right thing by keeping my appointment with this place upon noticing my mistake because the one I WANTED to go to was one block down, literally. Now I wish I had. I still tipped them but I want it known that I did not have a good experience and I would not recommend it to anyone. It was very clean and sanitary. They were very friendly but the process was very rushed. I wasnt happy with the product.

I’ve been going here consistently for five years. I’ve tried a couple places in town and none compare. Everyone there is talented and good company. I’m never disappointed when I leave. I bring my friends and family with me and highly recommend them to anyone.

I don’t live in Atlanta but when I’m in town on a work trip, I always go out of my way to come here. Always do high quality work, kind staff, great range of colors, and my shellac always lasts about 3 weeks without chipping. They also are gentle on your nails unlike most cheaper places. Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming to this salon over the last year and always enjoyed the outcome of my nails. However my last visit was the nail that sealed the coffin. With each visit I tried to ignore the rude attitude and tone of the older receptionist since the nail techs are friendly and do a good job, however it’s no longer worth it. I rather spend my money in a place that provides great customer service all around. I now go to allure which is a block away.Side note: After reading the other reviews here, I’ve noticed that a lot of other African American women experience the same issues.

Long wait, careless service, inattentive

I like my nails and its great theyre open late but I was not happy when I went to pay. I walked in with coffin nails and I was charged for shaping. When I brought this up I was told that they filed to make it even .... let me not start on a rant... and to bring down the length (after I said I didnt want them shortened). Lets just say that when someone is being charged for something other than what they requested when they entered it would be nice to tell them.

I have visited this salon twice. I had a mediocre visit the first time, decided to give it another shot because it’s close to the house. Not a fan. I am a simple mani pedi girl. This salon is very busy so you get rushed through. My nails chipped the very next day. I got white polish and it was a bit caked on and done sloppy. Won’t be back.

I had a gel manicure done, and not only were they very nice but my tech was FAST! They came out beautiful and their selection was great. We are from out of town and came in on a whim, and I was glad we did!

My new go to nail spot. They always have enough people work to be seated right when you walk in even when its busy. They make sure every need of yours is met and they do your nails like its an art. No matter who does your nails they take their time!

I absolutely love this place! For starters, they serve wine and other beverages. I have been obsessing about their wine glasses since I left. They were beautiful! As for the main attributes, this salon is very clean and sanitary. Naturally, they use sterile products, but they use bowl liners for the spa pedicures as well. The staff members are very attentive, polite, courteous, etc. The epitome of what customer service should be.

Been coming here for 2 years and I always schedule with the same person- Mai. Today, they just lost a loyal client. I called Chung Friday to schedule for today. Margaret and Chung know me by name and my distinctive hand tattoo. I sit down and get ready for my pedicure and full set when they tell me that mai already had a one oclock and that I could come back at 5. I live almost an hr away and I come here because Mai is the only one I trust to get my nails the way I want them. They said they didnt see me on the schedule for a mai, which is annoying because I asked for her 2 times and Chung said shes available at 1. I am not happy with them at all. That was a waste of time and gas.

They dipped my hands into a bowl of acetone (without telling me) and made me remove the SNS myself. They tried to convince me it was good for my skin 🤣. It felt disgusting. Skin was dry and covered in glue. I said Id prefer to have them wrapped individually and I would have paid for the extra 15 minutes.They walked me out the door and told me to do my nails at home. Instead I went to Angel Nails on Piedmont. They treated me with respect.I recommend Angel Nails on Piedmont. They didn’t have a problem foiling the tips - in fact it’s a regular practice.

Great place to get powder dip done. Nam did mine and his work is clean, precise, even, and consistent. The person who did my pedicure didnt do as great if a job so I docked a star. This place is busy so make an appointment or come early to avoid waiting or to get a parking spot. The serve drinks with your service and have prices that are more than most nail salons in Atlanta.

I was in the area and needed a fill and polish to kill some time. Looked on yelp and found this nail salon. The photos showed great work so I figured Id give this place a try considering the reviews. I was especially interested in the chrome nails. Ive seen pictures at other salons and didnt feel that the quality was there.John was my technician and he was amazing. He is extremely detail oriented and gentle. These nails are flawless. He paid special attention to the sides where most dont get all of the polish on. Every nail is even, and cuticles are uniform.Although this place isnt close to my home, I plan on returning when its convenient.

Came here because of all the good reviews.... ended up getting the exact type of nails I hate. I even showed a picture for reference. I communicated what I wanted about a solid 30 times. I wanted a thin natural full set. When I asked her to use the drill to thin them out one more time she explained why she wouldnt-- they would break. THEN she put 4 coats of gel because she wasnt doing a good job on each layer. So now I have bulbous THICK nails. I am so sick of salons not listening and doing what they want with your nails. Dont waste your time unless u ask for a specific nail tech. WASTE OF $$$100

Recommended by a coworker and I won’t go anywhere else. I travel 30+ minutes to get here and I love it! They are efficient and friendly. Parking isn’t the best but it’s atlanta and that’s typical. Coffee shop next door is a plus and the nail salon offers wine, water, and soda. Always packed for a reason, they are the best!

Do not get your nails done here. I scheduled an appointment for 12:00pm 11/24/19 and I was still waiting to be seen at 12:21pm. There is only ONE person that knows how to do designs out of a total of 30 employees. A woman that was suppose to do my nails asked me what I wanted to drink and when she saw what designs I wanted she told me she did not know how to do it and that someone else would help me. Then she did not give me a drink. My experience here was HORRIBLE and I will NEVER be back. I am not one to complain and I’m not hard to please, but the service was so bad that I wanted to let others know. Be aware.

The decor is awesome, fast paced, & busy. My nails came out nicely but they did not provide the accurate shape that I asked for and my tech was a little pushy because he wanted me to get gel. Absolutely not as I believe they are overpriced due to the location. I probably will go there every so often. However, they do offer libations and its very clean!

Fast and they have great techs. Watch out for fees though. Some techs won’t tell you the up charges until they’re done.

You are given free water or soda with your service. The place was packed on a weekday around 2pm. I think that speaks to their quality of work.I got a pedicure and did the $37 package. It was 1 hour of spa treatment. No complaints from me.

This is my go to nail spot. I get SNS N27 on top of my natural nail length. Ive had Andy and Nam and do a great job. My nails have never looked this good!
