I found this wonderful and Black woman-owned salon via Yelp reviews. I haven’t had my nails done since the beginning of the pandemic and I was anxious for my nail tech and me cause my nails were a hot mess 😂. I arrived to a warm welcome and all of the nail techs in a mask and with plenty of sanitizer. There was music playing — it was a Brandy day! — and the shop was well decorated and very cute.My nail tech was Jasmine and she did a PHENOMENAL job. She answered all my questions, was cordial and funny, and worked quickly and efficiently. The owner Ms. Rita and other nail tech April were present, very friendly, and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be a regular customer.

April did an amazing job on my polygel royal blue gel polish matted nails. Yes “Polygel”! It was hard for me to find a place in my area who do polygel. I gave this nail salon a try and I have to say I will be returning to get more services. Thank you April.

I absolutely loved my first visit to Diamonds N in the Rough. The atmosphere was relaxing, music on point and gracious care was given to my hands and feet. April you ROCKED that Black Girl Magic and I will be back. I have already shared the establishment with my Girlfriends. Blessings!

This is what a nail salon should be. When I go to Asian owned nail salons I feel like a farm animal in a factory being pushed along. But here I felt like I was at a relatives house. Very loving, patient, professional and best of all Black owned.They are booked frequently so MAKE AN APPOINTMENT or you have a 5% chance of being seen. I really like this place and you will too. ❤️

April did a great job on my gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. This is the most comfortable I ever felt in a nail salon. Would recommend. Makes sure you set up an appointment though.

Pretty Awesome!! I finally was able to touch base with the salon to confirm my appointment. They are closed on Sunday and Monday, which is why I was slightly confused because the hours on Yelp were different and misaligned on the website. The email was never delivered, but it all worked out.I got to the salon and I was greeted immediately. April let me know that I could sanitize my hands and then go wash in the bathroom. It smells awesome in there. It’s a quaint place, really enchanting. The decor suits the place beautifully.April finished the client ahead of me. Then started on me. Over my three hour visit we chatted as learned about each other. It was a welcomed break for me. She also educated me on what the previous salon did to my nails versus what I asked for. I ask for specific type of nails (gel) and she delivered. I LOVE them! They are sturdy and sleek. I got the black matte and so far it’s worked out nicely.I have already made an appointment to return.Previous Update:The Jury is still out...I called over the weekend...no availability but I was directed to the online booking and kind of shuffled (nicely) off the phone.I make the appointment. Not many times available. I get the pending appointment email and tried several times to confirm. The hours say they are open every day except Sunday from 9a-7pm but I am not completely sure as I called 3x at various points in the day to confirm my appointment and no one answered. I left a voicemail but no one returned it . I even emailed and gave her to get a response.I am a little confused and even if they called me back tomorrow it would be leas than 24 hours before my appointment. I don’t know how they are charging a $35 cancellation fee in 24 hours if no one picks upThe phone regularly.I hope I can update this post with more positive information.

This place is top notch! I was warmly greeted, they offered me beverages & did an emacutate job on my feet! They pay close attention to detail & dont just try to rush to get you in & out. And the best part about it to me is that they are black owned!.

April did an amazing job and was very attentive. Rita, the owner, was very sweet and is running a great business. Everyone was nice, professional, and this will definitely be my new nail spot for SNS manicures. April not only did my nails well, but gave me great advice as well. Everything was very clean and sanitary, which is important to me. I also love that it is black-owned and conveniently located!

Went in on my birthday talked to nails tech she was nice but her work wasn’t great. I asked her could she due a simple design of zebra stripes and stones. I left with half my done and without top coat. I ended up crying and leaving. My nails didn’t last 10days.

The technicians were friendly and welcoming. Excellent work on my pedicure, music was vibing and conversations were funny. Wish they wouldve began on time, waited 20 minutes past my appointment, it was worth the wait, however it prevented them from getting 5 stars.

Let me first say that I have had my nails serviced at many places but my experience at DNTR was hands down the best. When you enter you automatically feel like you are among friends. My nails are gorgeous! My tech was April. The care that I received seemed so personally. I will now only patronize this salon for my pedicure and manicure needs.

I scheduled a mani, pedi and eyebrows and received great service and great vibes. Alberta done my mani and pedi and Rita done my eyebrows. Both ladies were awesome.

I stumbled upon this salon since I was running errands in the area and didnt want to go to my usual spot. The staff were friendly, warm, funny and accommodating. Jasmine did an excellent job on my pedicure and the pricing was budget friendly. I will definitely be back!

This was my first time here. We were searching for a black owned nail salon and found it! Deja was excellent! She was freshly skilled which made her take her time and give attention to detail. We will certainly be back.

I enjoyed the services I received here. It feels good to be treated with dignity and respect while paying for a service. April took her time during my pedicure. My feet feel and look good. The shop was clean and beautifully decorated. Glad I discovered this shop.

So I just left the nail salon...and OMG!!! What an awesome experience...When I entered the salon I was greeted and my nail tech April let me know that she would be right with me. April was personable, friendly and an amazing tech. She took her time, made sure I was comfortable and offered advice regarding my nails along the way. She is truly talented and I will definitely be back!

Great experience! I found this place using Google reviews lol! Who would have thought? Anyway I walked in and April was the nail tech...she rendered a great set of services! She was fast and very knowledgeable about nail care! Please understand theres a difference between doing nails and nail care. She definitely knows the difference. Its pricey, but worth it. I will absolutely be back. As you can tell I was very pleased!

I love DNT nail salon. Rita has been doing my nails for at least 12 years. She is a true professional and the service is amazing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and the conversations had is all in stitches! Told were sterilized and cleaned TiRonne took the time to soak my gel off and I didnt feel rushed. It is also a wonderful blessing to be able to support our own.
