Honest, dependable, highly recommend. We were in from out of town and our car was overheating. They got us in same day and diagnosed and resolved the issue quickly. Very reasonably priced, knowledgeable and friendly. So glad we found this place.

Rob and his team are the best! I experienced a puttering engine and a check engine light. went here first thing in the morning. Not only did I pay what I was quoted , but they fixed my car and had it ready the same day. I can’t recommend them enough. I will definitely be back for any auto needs. Highly recommend

I brought my truck in for routine maintenance and due to a faulty component that was installed, the engine seized up while it was under Mikes care. Mike and his team took 100% responsibility and replaced the engine and warrantied their work. Mikes professionalism, commitment to quality work and friendly staff are what made a potentially stressful situation feel so smooth for me. It is because of Mikes integrity as a business owner that I will continue to take my vehicles to him and recommend anyone to him as well.

Excellent service and experience, my steering wheel came loose one day and I heard that this place could help and help they did they diagnosed the problem told me what would be most important to fix and what wouldnt rob does a excellent job of telling you the facts and answers with the up most honesty if I ever have problems again I would definitely come back.

Brought in vehicle while passing through Asheville for some emergency service. Mike was able to get the car in and out in an hour.

Well they charged me $187. Put a valve cover gasket and spark plugs and it still wont start when I stop by the store and the motor keeps surging . Didnt fix any of the problems I told them I was having.the mechanic name is Dale and he aint got a clue.

We count on Mikes for service and repairs on all of our vehicles. So happy to have him and his ace crew nearby our home in North Asheville. When necessary they even pick us up or drive us home. Its like having a life-long friend who runs a stellar automotive shop in your neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Mikes Auto came highly recommended to me. I had a unique situation with a very old car and Mikes Auto Services found that it could not be fixed. When I asked for the charge, they said nothing. Since we couldnt fix it, we are not going to charge you. I was very impressed with them since I knew they spent their valuable time checking out my car. I give them 5 stars!

I had my disabled vehicle towed there. Mike was honest. Told me it needed to go to dealership. Didn’t charge me for the assessment. Can’t say enough good things about this place!!!!!!

I have used Mikes serveral times in the last several months for a couple of significant repairs. Very positive results and experience.From the road, the shop looks pretty basic but inside you find clean, spacious and well equipped bays.

Did not clearly communicate how much he was going to charge per diagnosis and after he replaced a $6 spark plug charged me $75 for labor and equipment. You had better make sure he knows if you want work done or not, clearly my typed note saying not to work on anything before consulting me was not enough. My cars radiator leak was damaged much further after taking it there and is now out of commission entirely. I would absolutely go elsewhere. They arent honest.

Took my car here for over 15 years. Mike is excellent but as he transitions out whomever is managing now is not. Customer service is gone.

Told me the wrong thing about dead fuel in an older vehicles fuel tank. Very unprofessional and that could cause major damage to someones car. Would not recommend.

One set of brake lights on my wifes Ford Focus went out. Told her to save her time and have a repair shop fix it. A garage mechanic couldnt do it but recommended his own mechanic, Mike. After replacing the bulbs, Mike refused to charge and my wife gave him a donation. This occurred after Sears wanted to charge her $100 for just looking at the problem! Women, in particular, seem to be easy pickings for the typical mechanic. Not Mike and I appreciate it. My wife is a believer, our cars will go there, and classical music, NPR, and floors that you can eat from are just icing on the cake. On second thought, dont go there. We want him all to ourself.

I took my vehicle in for a simple brake job and it hasnt work well since. The Chris fellow does nothing honest. I believe they are using below average grade parts and do not have the experience to fix a tricycle. He can come up with a story or reason for anything. The problem is he doesnt understand that the truth will get you more in life.

They are honest, fair and great turnaround time! We continue to use them for all our automotive needs.
