Steven and group did a great job. From tracking down the part needed, to expediting the repairs, and staying on top of communication with me throughout. I would recommend them to anyone that needs good and quick repair work.

I was told I needed a new battery and they offered to replace it for $141 plus $60 to install (which is A LOT for putting a battery in). I decided to do it myself, but had the battery checked at Advance Auto and the battery was just fine. I put a negative review on here and the owner called me and we discussed the issue which he said he would look into. Hopefully it was just an issue with the machine and not on purpose, but I felt the need to post about my experience. I had 4 tires put on and decided to go elsewhere for everything else to get a lower price.

I made a mistake thinking my appointment was scheduled for the day I arrived at Meineke, but Steven was incredibly accommodating. He was able to almost instantly get my car in for an oil change and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Thanks for all the great work!

Very professional and personable. The work was done well and in a timely manner. The business kept me informed of the repairs progress throughout the time it was in their shop. I was impressed they did a test drive after completing the work which most places don’t do. Highly recommended this place.

I pulled into this Meineke with car trouble, and asked immediately for coolant and oil. The shop ran diagnostics and informed me that I needed a new engine, and it would cost $10,000(significantly overpriced). I made the tough decision to tow my truck to my uncles shop in West Virginia. My uncle changed the fluids and my truck started and ran fine with no engine work. Meinekes misdiagnosis led me to $300 in hotel and 1150.00 in towing bills, not to mention the mental anguish. The owner has yet to return my call.

First time customer and my experience was great. Right on time, professional and did a great job explaining the issues with my air conditioning. They had me fixed and out the door in a very reasonable amount of time.

Meineke saved the day for me! Got me in same day I called. An honest business and affordable. As long as I’m in Asheville, this place has my business.

I was extremely pleased with the service I received here. The owners went out of their way to get the parts I needed after they were told they were unavailable. They were both very friendly and I actually enjoyed the time I spent there! I’ll definitely take the 1 1/2 hour drive to use them in the future!

I had a fantastic experience with the team at Meineke Car Care Center on Patton Avenue. Everyone was kind, straightforward, and made a process that was very nerve-wracking to me go by very smoothly. They went above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone.

---Update---- Still havent heard back from meineke about this since a response was left by the owner.Made repairs without me approving them. Took a extremely long joy ride. Not sure why 2 people were needed to test. Also left black grease all over my car. Ceiling, all around doors, steering wheel and sun visor. If you go here make sure you let them know you dont want them to start doing repairs without your approval. Overpriced as well. Hate to leave this review but its going to cost me a couple hours minimum to clean all this grease out of my fabric. Completely regret trying this place.

Very satisfied. I went there to have a tire repaired while traveling. They were courteous, friendly amd prompt.

I had an 11:00 appointment, got there and Stephen helped me right away. We chatted about possible problems with the exhaust and he assured me he would call me and let me know the diagnosis before doing any work. Shortly after I left, he called and informed me that in order to diagnose properly, they would have to cut out a portion of the exhaust to diagnose it correctly and asked if it was okay if they continue. Shortly after that, he called again with the diagnosis and gave me the complete out the door total with parts, labor, and tax. Only took 2 hours and was kept up to date the entire time. Stephen was very personable and professional. Highly recommend this shop. Great work, great service, didn’t get a runaround, and was in and out without a hassle.

I went to get an alignment which cost $60 at most places, it was $105. I was told I didnt need an alignment but some other work which equalled to $775. I didnt get any work done on my vehicle but after I left I started to have air leaking from my tires. I cant say I will ever return. They where nice however the experience and pricing was to much for me.

Came in to have brakes and rotors replaced in May, which was close to $500. Not long after, I noticed every time I hit the brakes, my steering wheel started to shake. Two mths later, my brake pads were gone/grinding again. Took my car back and Steven explained that a strut had “broken” and it caused the caliper to seize up which in turn, ruined my rotors/brakes. He told me that if I didn’t get the struts fixed that I would be back in a week to have brakes and rotors replaced again. (The brakes and rotors were covered under warranty.) So I asked him to give me a quote for that work. It came out to $1200+ which of course I didn’t have…and he offered me a chance to get the work financed through Meineke. Which I was grateful for, but I’ve been told by family and bf, that Meineke is extremely overpriced compared to other places. None the less, I’m glad they were able to take care of my car that day, and that I was able to finance it. Steven and the guys there were super nice and the guy working on my car even fixed my undercarriage that was hanging down but I will most likely not return to Meineke due to pricing.

I want to thank Juan for his top notch service installing my exhaust. He was informative and thorough in his his process, and the quality of his work when completed was impressive. I also want to thank Stephen for transparency on the hours and cost which were realistic and fair, and I appreciated our conversation about Hondas. I would definitely recommend this Meineke at 124 Patton for aftermarket installs.

I waited at Fred Anderson Toyota (with an appointment) almost 2 hours for them to tell me they werent able to do the work I needed.

I came to this shop because the shop I used to go to did not make things easy/tried to charge me for a service twice-among other issues. I believe I worked with Steven as Meineke- Im terrible at remembering names. My check engine light was on and he kept me informed every step of the way. Ended up needing my whole lower intake replaced. This shop seemed very honest and easy to work with. I will definitely be going back here with any car needs in the future.

New exhaust installed from header to tailpipe exactly what wanted. Mechanic explained everything before work began ran exhaust pipe even checked with me on chrome pipe end . The work was so neat and well done extremely satisfied

I had an extremely fulfilling experience. Both the manager Steven, and exhaust technician Juan were helpful and attentive to what I wanted. PoopThey help me to pick the right system for my 07 Subaru. Before Juan suggested anything he told me to educate myself, so I wouldnt waste money on things that werent going to help my vehicle..Im extremely happy with the sound of my subaru. Very happy with the quality of work. they were not after large amounts of cash they just wanted to do a job and make sure that I was happy with it. I will be suggesting this location and Juan to my friends for any future projects.

I was on a road trip and unsure where to go when I was having a muffler/exhaust problem. This crew fit me in right away, worked quickly and did a great job. 3PM was my appointment for today. I called this business over the phone and asked to schedule an appointment for an oil change and basic maintenance. We agreed for me to come in two hours. I arrived, wore a mask, walked in to find no one in the business was following guidelines.I asked verbatim, hello sir, I am here for my oil change we discussed over the phone. This mans response was just like every other car in the lot. And the mechanic behind him laughed. I said, excuse me? And he adjusted his posture once I displayed confusion over his lack of respect and professionalism. I asked for a basic oil change and he then tried to tell me it would be roughly $80. I could IMMEDIATELY tell this man not only spoke disrespectfully to me because of my stature but also assumed I would be ignorant to proper pricing. This was just a confirmation I would rather continue to change my oil and filter myself than have to put into question if guys like this would even do it properly. Lost a customer, tons of referrals if the business had been at the very minimum, satisfactory. What a low par establishment. My advice? Dont work in the service industry, if you do not comprehend how to talk to people with basic human decency.

My Honda Odyssey has a transmission issue and not only did Steven help me out on the same day, he also diagnosed the issue without charging me and found out for me there was a recall for my transmission on my model. He also gave me good advice about my break pads that I was worried about. Not happy at all with the service I was given. I set up an appointment a week a head of time with the location closest to my house when I got there for my scheduled appointment I was told they couldn’t get to it today and sent me 30 min down the road to another location and had to get worked in to there schedule. I Had them cut my resonator off weld about two foot section of pipe back and Was charged for two hours of labor when the job was done in 45 min but even though it was done they left my car on the lift for the other hour ( I guess so they could say it took 2 hours) and said they were waiting for the paint to dry. Total BS it’s spray paint and drys fast guess that’s how they make there money by charging for more labor then what it calls for. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE GET ANY WORK DONE BY THIS COMPANY!!!

Went in for brakes and rotors. The employees are very professional and make sure you understand what their recommendations are for part replacement without trying to upsale you. After they finished they took my truck for a ride to make sure the brakes work as they should. I will continue doing business here.

The folks at Meineke in Asheville did an excellent job of fixing our car in a timely matter. While on vacation from Wisconsin, we had issues with engine shaking and loud exhaust. They were able to determine that the car needed new engine mounts and flex exhaust pipe. They worked on the car late into the evening to ensure we would get our car back within 24 hours. The car runs great and we are now confident that our family will make the long drive back to Wisconsin.

Had an emergency problem with my alternator and the guys got to it right away, checking the problem and then fixing it. What I thought was going to be a nightmare ended up being fixed in a couple of hours. Genuine guys that know what they are doing.

Very honest with me. I came to their shopafter leaving the Nissan Dealership where they were going to charge me $700 to do my brakes. Meineke told me my brakes were fine and met safety guidelines. They gave me a price to redo the rotors and replace the rear pads if I wanted to bring everything up to 100% but no pressure to do so. I told them to go ahead because the price was reasonable and I won’t have to worry about brakes for a long time. I will go back to see them again. And I am done with that Nissan Dealership.

Went in to get brake work, I told them that I believe it was just the back ones! They was honest with me when they checked them out, and said it was just the back and didnt try to get me to do the front like alot of other places would. However they showed me the front tire, and it was splitting! I only had those tires for a couple years, and they shouldnt have gotten bad like that yet, in which I got from the kia place, they didnt balance them. Anyhow I wound up buying two tires also along with the brakes! They are a little pricey, but I feel that they are honest, and take pride in what they do. I highly recommend them.

I was visiting from New York and the whole back end of our truck was rotted out. We showed up at about an hour before close. They stayed open for an hour after close and got us back on the road. Go nowhere else. This place is the real deal.

Dealer wanted to charge over 2K for a completely new exhaust system and the dudes at Meineke welded a patch sleeve onto the exhaust leak for under 200 bucks in a couple of hours. Car works (sounds) perfect now. Thanks for letting me make rent, Meineke! I’ll be back when my other car bursts into flames :) Guess where I’m NOT buying my next new/used car?

$450 for brake pads on a Ford Excursion is way too much! Double what a competitor quoted after I left.He told me to bring it in they were slow and would get me right out. I was there Waiting for four hours for it to be finished. I was in a hurry but should have called around. They said they had a 50% Off of the pads deal. So $450 for just brake pads was 50% off! I’m a mechanic so I know what I needed. The guy working on did a good job so no fault of his. I will not be back, and will tell others not too as well.

Went on Saturday and the staff was amazing! So kind and respectful of me and 2 little kids hanging out for awhile. I left and have had some issues that arose after the alignment but they have done a ton of work to help. They are still working towards fixing the issue but have gone above and beyond with being super understanding to make sure we eventually get the repairs done that have now arose after leaving.

Completely over priced and tried to do unnecessary work on my car. They said they would do car in morning so that night I called to get car back and go somewhere else but they had already finished car ahead of schedule. Feel kinda cheated and all I was trying to get done was brakes. Just dont go here and save your money.

I came to their shop shortly before closing yesterday after finding that a fuel tank strap had broken. Steven and crew got the repairs made and had me on the road again within thirty minutes.

I chose this Meineke Car Care Center at random because I needed assistance quickly and the place I usually go was backed up. I called, Stephen told me to come on in. I’m so glad to have found them! All the guys there were nice, funny and helpful. They got my car up on a lift very quickly in order to find out what was going on. They made sure I got to look at the issue so I was aware of what needed to be done. Some parts were needed that were difficult find—they put in the effort to track them down. Once the parts were found, the necessary installation was done quickly. It was an all around great experience and I’ll be going back.

I’ve been to this location a few times. They are always very professional, trustworthy, and do quality work!

I set an appointment Friday evening because I knew I needed an oil changed and I needed to get my brake fluid checked. My brake fluid oil was low and my ABS light was coming on and then going off. I live in Greensboro and I normally go to store #1269 but I am from Asheville and only in town for the weekend, which is why I chose location #2467. I arrived at about 7:46 am for my 8am appointment andantes one of the mechanics pulled up at 8:00am and asked me what I needed done. I explained and he told me that the guy with the keys would be there soon, didn’t get inside until 8:15am. Then I explained the situation and that I knew there was a coupon for a free brake check. They checked everything said my brakes were fine and no signs of any leaks. My light has still been off and on and the whole point of going was to ensure I was safe to be on the road and to get a oil change. They didn’t even change my sticker from the previous oil change to let me know when I needed to come back. Overall I will never ever go back to this location again just wasn’t completely satisfied with the services provided.

My van wouldnt start in the morning and I had to get it towed to Meineke. I called to ask if they had time to look at it and Steven was courteous and responsive and told me to go ahead and bring it on in. I expected the repairs to take a few days but I drove home that evening in my newly repaired vehicle. I am a satisfied customer and plan to keep coming back to this shop.

Our Volvo was recently repaired by another shop and the rear muffler hanger was not installed. Steven was very helpful, telling us that they would take care of the issue for us. Within an hour the job was completed at a very reasonable price. Thank you very much.

They took advantage of my wife after calling around after they did the job because they used scare tactics to convince her that the car wasnt drivable to go right down the street they charged her $200 for a job that I called around afterwards thatd other places said parts and labor $80 and even called the other mieneke shop and they was in disbelief so I wouldnt go here unless you wanted to get taken advantage of especially if youre a woman I wish I could give them a 0 star rating

These guys are beyond awesome! I popped a tire a block away and was unable to change it due to two of my lug nuts being stripped. After a quick consultation with the guys, I decided to drive the block and they helped me get the lug nuts off, free of charge. A quick tire swap, and I was back on the road. Many , many thanks to my new friends!
